Happy Birthday, Mr. Bob!

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Today I am sharing a sweet birthday card made for a very nice man that lives in our neighborhood, Mr. Bob. We've come to know Mr. Bob thru Kelsey but also he walks everyday and he will stop and chat with us if he sees us out. He goes into the restaurant every evening for his supper and he always sits in Kelsey's section. He came and spent Christmas Eve with us this past year and it was so nice to spend time with him. He is widowed and his son & DIL lives directly across the street from him. Anyways, he recently celebrated his 84th birthday! We treated him to a bouquet of balloons and a gift certificate for the restaurant. He was so overjoyed when we went knocking on his door that Sunday afternoon! It made his whole day! So, of course, I had to make him a card!

Card Details:

Stamps: Number of Years (retired), Large Numbers (retired)
Ink: Tempting Turquoise (retired), Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Tempting Turquoise (retired), Granny Apple Green, Basic White, SEI Patterned Paper
Accessories: Deckled Circles (retired), Large Number Framelits (retired), Lucky Stars EF (retired), Enamel Stars -Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, Pear Pizzazz (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My card was made last minute so I kept it quite simple.
His family later took him out for a big dinner to celebrate his special day!
He's such a sweetheart and i'm glad we got to help make his day just a bit happier!
