Textured Notes HB

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Friends!

Another gorgeous day is on tap here in south central PA! I hope you get out to enjoy it!

Today I have card #2 to share with you from July's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. This one uses a terrific suite of products from the Online Exclusives called Botanical Textures Suite. I designed this card to be a masculine birthday card but could certainly be used for a woman as well.

Card Details:

Stamps: Textured Notes (Online Exclusives), Simply Said, More Sayings & Such (retired-inside)
Ink: Pecan Pie
Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Basic White, Woven Textures DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Textured Notes Dies, Neutral Matte Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This one was quick & easy to stamp & adhere together. I've been trying to keep the cards flat for easier mailing especially with the cost of postage going up!
I do really like that package of paper with the different varieties and prints!

Tomorrow I will share card #3 so be sure to stop back, ok?

Hey Friend, Happy Birthday!

Good Morning & Happy Saturday, Friends!

I know it's been a minute since I last posted. Life has been life-ing for sure!
I have so much that I want to share on here so I am going to try to get better about posting.
Last month was Christmas in July and I spent so much time making cards for almost every occasion under the sun. Lots of Christmas cards, too! I have been on a mission to use up what I have and truthfully it does not look like I even put a dent in my stash of papers! LOL
So, today I am going to start off my blog post with wishing our good friends, Deb & Ed and very Happy Anniversary! I actually had a card on the card rack that I pulled off and got mailed to them earlier this week and I'm happy to say that it arrived in time for their special day!

Today I have a fun fold card to share that we made in July at a Stamp Day w/ Friends get together! We had a blast with this one! This card is a book binding explosion card. They are such fun cards to create and really give that WOW effect when you open it. I know Deb loves anything beachy so I decided to use the now retired Ocean Friends bundle that was available in the 2025 Spring Mini Catalog. This is what we made...

Card Details:

Stamps: Ocean Friends (retired), Happiest Day (retired), Friendly Seagulls (SAB 25)
Ink: Calypso Coral, Summer Splash, Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green
Cardstock: Summer Splash, Lemon Lime Twist, Basic White, Friends of the Ocean DSP (retired)
Accessories: Ocean Friends Dies, White/Silver Sheer Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This came together pretty quickly for the girls since I had most of it already prepared. They just had to do the stamping and adhering it together.
I love the colors & prints in this package of paper as they are fresh & fun and perfect for a summertime card.

So here we are in August already! It is soon time for another Stamp Day w/ Friends get together which I have been working on some card kits for the girls. In the midst of crafting my hands off, my Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine broke. So now I am at the mercy of UPS and waiting on them to delivery my new machine! I hope it won't be too much longer!

I will share the next card we made at Stamp Day tomorrow so be sure to stop back, ok?

Christmas Rose

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

Today I am sharing a pretty Christmas card made using a long retired stamp set from 2019 called Christmas Rose. This past weekend I was in my craft room going thru some of my Christmas papers and I found this pack of pretty paper. I laid it on my table and spent the afternoon making 8 cards with it! I still have 3 whole sheets left that I will use up another time but for now I was having so much fun just creating with it along with the Christmas Rose stamp sets (this stamp set had 2 cases with beautiful images & sayings)! I will share the rest of the cards in the coming weeks.

Card Details:

Stamps: Christmas Rose (retired)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Basic White, Christmastime is Here Specialty Paper (retired)
Accessories: Roses Dies (retired), Gold Shimmer Ribbon (retired), Gold Glitter Enamel Dots (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal Adhesive

That beautiful floral image was diecut directly from the the Christmastime is Here Specialty Paper and adhered to my card flat. The sentiment panel is popped up with Dimensionals,
I made 6 Christmas cards and 2 Christmas Gift Card/Money Holders for the upcoming holidays! My bins are pretty full and I couldn't be happier to get ahead this year!

Frames & Flowers Specialty Paper

Good Morning & Happy Thursday, Friends!

I've been awake since before 3am this morning as we had a strong line of thunderstorms come thru. It was storming when I went to bed at 9pm and then again at 3am. Our weather sure has been active with heavy rains, lots of alerts and very hot & humid air sitting over us. I'm sure at this point I am going to need a nap later today!

This last week & a half has been a stressful one. It started out with Mr. Shady not well. We thought maybe he had a leg injury as he was not walking for days. Kelsey called her Vet and was unsuccessful in getting him seen ASAP. They were completely booked and the soonest they could see him was Monday 7-14-25. They suggested she call other vets in the area or get him to an animal emergency place. The local animal emergency place was already on a long wait time and before the end of that day it turned into a 12-15 hour wait time. She was so frustrated, as I was too because no one wants to see their pet hurting. So, she kept him comfortable and carried him outside to go potty. Thru all this he was still eating, drinking & doing his outside business but was constantly shaking like a leaf and would not walk. Finally, Monday he was seen by his normal Vet and was diagnosed with a neck injury! I can only imagine how Kelsey felt as I was worried sick about him for days, too. I was mentally exhausted as to thinking what was wrong with him. After xrays summed up the Vet's diagnosis, Shady was put on some heavy duty pain meds, an anti inflammatory and muscle relaxers. By the end of the first day on these meds he was showing signs of improvement. He was walking and playing with his food & toys! It's now been 3 days on the meds and he is healing nicely even back to his usual sniffing every blade of grass. He has not jumped up on anything yet and that may take awhile for the injury to completely heal but the Vet said he will get back to his normal self. It's one of those kind of injuries that they see quite often. He is no longer allowed to wear his normal neck collar attached to the leash. From now on she was advised to get him a harness to take the pressure off his neck. So, he's not out of the woods yet but showing signs of improvement each & every day! I am so thankful for that! She does call every morning to give me updates on him and it's sounding positive!

Today I have a set of cards to share that I made for a Thank You gift. There are 5 cards and each one is different. I used the Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP from the 2024-2025 Stampin Up! catalog. I think it may be on the Last Chance Sale list still but not 100% sure on that. I still have a small bit of this paper left and I may make another pack for myself...

Card Details:

Stamps: Everyday Greetings & Greetings of the Season (retired Online Exclusives)
Ink: Pretty Peacock
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Pretty Peacock, Basic White, Frames & Flowers Specialty Paper (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Glittered Gems (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Each card has a punched out floral image from that specialty pack which makes it so quick when creating cards or even scrapbook pages. I really love how these turned out! Aren't those colors so pretty together?

Happy 90th Birthday

 Hello & Happy Tuesday, Friends!

It's been a crazy last few days which I will share more about that tomorrow.
Today I am having my girls over for a Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. It's been a long time coming and i'm so anxious to see them! I am also very exhausted and could probably sleep the day away so there will be lots of coffee happening!

Today I am sharing a card that I made for Audrey way back at the end of May for one of her friends who was turning 90! She always likes her cards to be personalized and so I pulled out a long retired stamp set called Memorable Moments. I also paired it up with You Are Remarkable set from the Online Exclusives.

Card Details:

Stamps: Memorable Moments (retired), You Are Remarkable (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Versamark
Cardstock: Boho Blue (retired In Color), Basic Black, Basic White, Mixed Media DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Adorning Accents Edgelits (retired), Petal Pink Low Profile Dots (Online Exclusives), Petal Pink Scalloped Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal Adhesive

Always fun to pull out the retired stuff and mix it with new items!
Loved this card and so did Audrey!

Sorry to cut this short today but I need to get my day started and wait on the girls to get here!

Grow With Love Thank You

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Friends!

A quick update this morning as I am headed off for an appointment shortly!
I have been working on making some Thank You cards to send to customers and I pulled out a bundle that I have not even touched called Grow With Love. I am not sure if it's still available or possibly on the Last Chance list.

Card Details:

Stamps: Grow With Love (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Pretty Peacock, Crumb Cake
Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Crumb Cake, Basic White, Timeless Plaid DSP, Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP
Accessories: Grow With Love Dies, Crumb Cake Twine, Neutrals Matte Dots (Online Exclusives), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal Adhesive

The Grow With Love Dies are pretty awesome, not sure what took me so long to use them!
It has a die to create a little pouch which I will be pulling out next! I bet it will be great to use as a candy treat holder for the upcoming holidays!

This pretty flower stamp has been sitting on my stamp table for atleast a month and on a whim last week I grabbed it and inked it up with some Timid Tiger ink. I stamped it once and then stamped it again without inking it up. I love the look!

Thinking of You

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

It's hump day! Hope your week is going well!
Today I have a pretty card to share with you using The Right Words stamp set, the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder and the Floral Impressions DSP.

I took a piece of the DSP and cut into sections since the one print has several different colored flowers on it. I took the blue flowers and built my card around it. My cardbase is Misty Moonlight with a layer of Basic White cardstock that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder. I took my piece of DSP and layered it with Misty Moonlight cardstock and adhered it to my card in the lower left hand corner. I stamped my sentiment from The Right Words stamp set that is current from the 2025-2026 Stampin Up! Annual Catalog. Then I diecut my flower using the Impressions Abloom dies using Misty Moonlight & Garden Green cardstocks. I diecut the center of the flower using Early Espresso cardstock. I adhered my flower and added it to my card with Dimensionals. Lasty, I added some rhinestones for a pop of sparkle.

Card Details:

Stamps: The Right Words
Ink: Misty Moonlight
Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Garden Green, Early Espresso, Basic White, Floral Impressions DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Impressions Abloom Dies (Online Exclusives), Pressed Flowers EF (Online Exclusives), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal Adhesive

I love everything about this entire suite of products! It makes the prettiest cards!
