Hold on to Hope

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a great weekend!
Here we had temps in the 80's Friday & Saturday.
Saturday was a bit too much for me as I am not a fan of hot weather.
Sunny and 70's is my motto!
Yesterday & today we are getting rain. Some heavy and some just showers but nonetheless, it's a gloomy day! I sure hope my lilac bush is enjoying this nice watering and brings me some beautiful lilacs soon! They always smell so amazing!

Today I have a cute card to share using the Hold on to Hope Bundle that is in the Occasions Mini Catalog. It is a million dollar achiever stamp set created by Brandy Cox after she achieved her 1 million in sales. The new catalog that is set to release June 1st 2018 is filled with many million dollar stamp sets and it's very exciting!

When I first saw this stamp set I was immediately taken with that beautiful cross!
Here I stamped the plain cross with Calypso Coral and stamped off first to get a lighter image. I diecut it with the matching framelit. Then I diecut the fancy cross with it's matching framelit and layering it on top of my stamped off cross. The greens are stamped with Pear Pizzazz and diecut out with it's coordinating framelit.

Card Details:

Stamps: Hold on to Hope
Ink: Calypso Coral, Pear Pizzazz
Cardstock: Calypso Coral, Whisper White
Accessories: Crosses of Hope Framelits, Clear Rhinestone, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This bundle is a wonderful one to have in your collection and will still be available until the end of May. It is being carried over into the new catalog but you will no longer be able to get the extra 10% off of it since it will be sold separately.

God Bless You Card Set

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your all enjoying the weekend!
Yesterday was beautiful and we spent the day in Lancaster County with some friends.
While my intent was to do some supply shopping at L&L Stamps in Ephrata, PA.,I found out quickly she was closed once we got there. Then we headed off for some lunch at a cafe at Shady Maple which was pretty darn good! Plus we ate with friends which made it all the more special!
After lunch we headed to the Flower & Craft Warehouse and to my surprise I found some amazing things in the Scrapbooking area! Since I was bummed that L&L was closed, the Flower & Craft Warehouse made up for my sadness! Needless to say my friend, Mary Anne & I had a wonderful time shopping & chatting and ended our day with a hug before we both headed home with full bellies and a bag of fun stamping goodies! This hobby has brought so many wonderful stamping friends into my life over the years and it's always fun to meet up with them!

So today I have a set of cards made for my really great customer who ordered cards for her grandson. She writes to him on a regular basis while he is stationed in Georgia and requested a pack of cards with the American flag on it and God Bless You. I always try my best to fulfill her requests.

This set was a bit of a toughie and I hope she will like these as it's a bit different than what she asked for. She wanted a certain paper which I am out of and she wanted me to use the God Bless America stamp that Stampin Up brought out in 2001 when the Trade Towers in New York City came down. I instead used a different American flag stamp from the Star Spangled Banner (retired) set. There are words on this particular stamp so I just used my Stampin Write Markers to ink up what I wanted, stamped it and cut just the flag out. My sentiment panel is stamped with God Bless You which comes from the Crosses of Hope (retired) set and then it was cut out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. My piece of patterned paper is from Pebbles and is diecut with the Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle Dies. Lastly I attached my flag with Mini Dimensionals and attached the star with a glue dot. I hope she will like these. I love the patterned paper and the Red, White & Blue!

God Bless You Card Set:

Stamps: Star Spangled Banner (retired), Crosses of Hope (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy, Real Red & Night of Navy Stampin Write Markers
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Peebles DSP, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper
Accessories: Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle Dies, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Small Star Punch, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Last of the Tissue Box Holders

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Up early on this cloudy morning as some rain showers are moving thru.
The sun is to make it's return before lunch so hopefully it will turn out to be a beautiful day!

My girls are off to doggie day spa this morning and Ryan & I are headed to get bloodwork done before we can actually eat breakfast. Then the guys are getting haircuts before we pick the girls up from grooming. A busy day ahead! I hope to find some time later on to play at my stamp table, too, but we will see.

So, here is the last of my Tissue Box Holders that I made last week.
They are so fun and make a cute little gift to give to someone who is under the weather or has a bit of the sniffles from allergies.

These use the new Delightful Daisy DSP from the new SU Catalog!
That paper is so pretty!

Tissue Box Holders:

Stamps: Crosses of Hope

Angie Juda created this box and has a tutorial on her blog, here.

God Bless You

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

The week is just zipping right along!

Yesterday was a beautiful day here in south central Pennsylvania!
There was a nice breeze, almost a chill in the air after a few days of 80 degrees and humid.
It was refreshing with lots of sunshine.
I spent most of the day in my craft room stamping just for fun!

The cards I have to share today were another customer request for children at her church that were going to be confirmed soon. These confirmation cards were refreshing to make and I did not want to load them up with embellishments or tons of layers.

Audrey is my customer whom is a huge part of her church and knows many people. This is why she is always needing cards and certainly keeps me busy most days! She is a very caring and most thoughtful person and has such a wonderful family! Always has a big smile for anyone she meets and is a blessing to many!

This is the second time she has asked me to make confirmation cards. I never posted the first one because I was really unsure of it but as always, she was thrilled with it.

God Bless You Cards:

Stamps: Crosses of Hope (retired)
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Bordering Blue
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Bordering Blue
Accessories: Swiss Dots EF, Circle & Scallop Circle Nestibilities, Stamp A Ma Jig, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I will probably make more of these up to keep on hand for her for future requests.
I liked these with a simple design!
