July 4th Holiday!

 Happy July 4th, Friends!

Hope your celebrating today!
Our little town had it's fireworks display last evening. Ryan & I sat out on the front porch to watch like we do every year. Shawn came out with Bailee for a few minutes but the booms hurt her ears and she would bark each time a loud boom went off. They ended up watching from the front door.

That was the view from the porch and thankfully it was a beautiful evening to sit out.

So, today I wanted to share the last of my July 4th cards with you.
The first one I'm not sure what the stamp is called but it was made by Stampendous. Someone stamped this image off and sent to me years ago. I decided to have some fun and colored it one afternoon then turned it into a card with some paper scraps from my stash.

Card Details:

Stamps: Stampendous (sentiment & image)
Ink: Memento Black, Blueberry Bushel, Stampin Blends-Real Red, Blueberry Bushel, Daffodil Delight, Pecan Pie
Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel, Real Red, Basic White, American Crafts
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Lucky Stars EF (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My second card...

Card Details:

Stamps: Inkadinkadoo, Stampendous (sentiment)
Ink: Misty Moonlight, Real Red
Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Real Red, Basic White, White Glimmer Paper (retired), K& Company -Americana
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Star Punch (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Both were fun to create!

Trucking Along 4th of July

Good Morning & Happy Saturday, Friends!

It's quite gloomy & damp out this morning but I do believe that the sun is to pop out and get very warm & humid later on. I am on the loveseat this morning just chilling and trying to decide what I am gonna do today. Shawn is at work as he has contractors in there to do a project. It's the day after injection day for me and this is the day I usually struggle with fatigue. I am determined though to push thru it and possibly do some card making at some point.

I have 2 cute cards to share today that I made for the July 4th holiday. I was heavily inspired by a card that I seen from Chat Wszelaki at Me, My Stamps & I blog. I love that she used the pickup truck from the retired Trucking Along stamp set and created a July 4th card. I still needed a few more cards to send out and this one just made me smile! Thanks Chat!

Card Details:

Stamps: Trucking Along ( retired Online Exclusives), Light the Sky (retired), Taylored Expressions (sentiment)
Ink: Starry Sky (retired In Color), Real Red, Memento Black, Stampin Blends-Real Red, Smoky Slate
Cardstock: Starry Sky (retired In Color), Real Red, Basic White, Starry Sky (retired In Color DSP)
Accessories: Trucking Along Builder Punch, Everyday Arches Dies (Online Exclusives), Starry Sky Metallic Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal

These cards are already addressed and in the mail!
I'm trying to get better about sending cards out earlier so the recipients can enjoy them before the holiday arrives. These were so fun to create and again I thank Chat for inspiring me to pull out the truck set and use it again. It's another one of those stamp sets that will never leave my collection!

Celebrate July 4th

 Happy Wednesday, Everyone!

Just a quick post today then I have a list a mile long of things I need to get done today!
Over the weekend I sat and made a pack of July 4th cards and had a few leftover pieces of patterned paper that came from Hobby Lobby, so I made 4 extra cards for myself. I loved how these turned out and hope you will too!

Card Details:

Stamps: Light the Sky (retired)
Ink: Blueberry Bushel, Real Red
Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel, Real Red, Basic White, The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby)
Accessories: Stitched Stars Dies (retired), Starstruck EF (retired SAB 25), Give It A Whirl Dies (retired), Rhinestones, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I would have made more if I had more of the patterned paper.
I usually try to make cards to send out for the July 4th holiday and so far this is the only ones I made this year. If time allows maybe today I can get a few more made! LOL
Hard to believe we are nearing the end of June already and next Friday is July 4th! It only time would slow down just a little!!!

Do you make cards for the July 4th holiday?

That's all I have for today!
Thanks for taking a bit of time out of your day to visit!
Have a great day & stay cool!

Happy July 4th!

 Hello & Happy July 4th!

It's looking to maybe rain this afternoon which we could use!
Nothing much happening here today as Shawn is working and will have his holiday tomorrow.  Red Lion had their fireworks display last evening. Ryan & I watched from the front porch. They lasted maybe 25 minutes. Shawn & Bailee watched from the couch out the window and she did not bark this year. Usually the loud booms and she will bark.
Today we are just going to do some burgers on the grill & fresh corn on the cob from a local farm stand. Can ya tell I am getting hungry! LOL

Here are the 2 different cards I made last week for July 4th.

These are pretty straight forward.
I picked up the patterned paper at Hobby Lobby. The stars are from the retired Stitched Stars Dies. I added a little clear Rhinestone to each star and popped it up with Dimensionals. I left the paper do all the work!

Enjoy your day!

Happy July 4th

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I hope your staying cool in the midst of the heat & humidity! We've been having thunderstorms pretty much everyday. Shawn is on vacation this week that is why I have not been posting much. He's been enjoying his time off work so far by going out fishing.
I haven't been down to my stamp room much as I am giving my hands a bit of a break but I wanted to share my July 4th cards I made several weeks ago. These were made with the Patchwork Dies from the 2023-2024 Stampin Up! Annual Catalog.

These were a labor of love to make! When playing with the Patchwork Dies you cannot simply make just one but let me say that they were so much fun! I made a stack of 12 and sent every last one out in the mail.

Card Details:

Stamps: Taylored Expressions
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel, Basic White, Real Red
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Patchwork Dies, Basics 3D EF, Blueberry Bushel Ribbon (retired), Red Rhinestones (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

So glad that Stampin Up brought back Blueberry Bushel.
It was a favorite when it was an In Color several years ago!

Today we will be grilling up burgers and having corn on the cob to celebrate the July 4th holiday. Red Lion had it's fireworks last evening which were very nice. Only lasted about 20-25 minutes. 3 hours before they were scheduled to go off we had thunderstorms roll thru but they cleared out quickly and the show went on without a hitch!

July 4th Little Debbies

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

It is another rainy morning here in south central PA but that's fine with me....my garden & flowers so desperately need it! We had a misty type of rain most of the day yesterday which is perfect for the garden. I seen rain for the next week so let's hope this makes up for the lack of water!
Today I am sharing another sweet treat that I created using the Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Bars. I found these at the grocery store recently and since my family loves them I created a little box for them. This is what the box looks like if you are looking for them...

Since I created these to fit the Nutty Bars I wanted to share the measurements but I can't find them. I wrote them down as I was making them. If I find them I will make sure to post them. I hope I did not accidentally throw them away but I will look first thing when I get to my stamp table today.

ETA: I found the directions!

Cardstock measuring 5 x 5 3/8
With the 5 3/8 side at the top of your paper trimmer or Score Board score @
1/2, 1 5/8, 2 1/8, 3 1/4
Use the bone folder to get nice creases. The 1/2 panel is where you add the adhesive and attach to back of box.
Decorate & have fun!
I placed my Little Debbie Nutty Buddies inside before I adhered it to the back. They fit snuggly in this pouch.

If you make any of these please share them with me in the comments section.
I'd love to see them!

Project Details:

Stamps: God Bless America (retired), Papertreyink (retired sentiment)
Ink: Blueberry Bushel & Real Red Stampin Write Markers, Real Red
Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel, Basic White, Glorious Gingham DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Nested Essential Dies, Stitched Stars Dies (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The sweet treat just fits snug in these and slide out either end.
I wish Stampin Up! would give us another fun July 4th/Patriotic stamp set. It has been a few years since we've had one.

July 4th Candy Bars

Good Morning from a rainy PA!
Happy Thursday, Everyone!

We so desperately need the rain and yesterday it started around noontime and this morning it is still raining! YAY! The ground has got so dry that the dirt is cracking which is odd to see here. We've had a snowless winter (which I am not complaining) but snowfall is critical to the water levels. We are in a moderate drought and recently the county has asked people to start conserving water. This year I did not plant the amount of flowers I normally plant so I don't have as much to water. Because of the lack of heat & humidity so far this season my flowers are not looking all the greatest either. Hopefully the summer weather will soon kick in and perk my flowers up!

So today I have another sweet treat to share with you. The July 4th holiday is less that 2 weeks away and I do like to have some treats on hand. I know my elderly neighbors love treats! Recently I found the Hershey's Candy Bars at my local Giant grocery store and I purchased a pack. These are a white chocolate with sprinkles & pop rocks in them. Something different. I have not tried them so i'm not sure if they are good or not. I loved that the wrapper is was red, white & blue so I thought i'd give them a try!

For these I did not make my usual candy bar wrappers but just put a belly band around the middle of them. I wanted the decorated ends of the wrappers to be seen. I used a retired stamp set and a coordinating wheel that I unmounted from the wheel and added cushion to. It is now a very long stamp that I find I reach for more often and use. Do you remember the wheels? I use to have lots of ink cartridges for them but they have dried up over the years so unmounting the rubber was a good thing!

Project Details:

Stamps: Happy Fourth (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Pacific Point (retired), Silver Foil Paper
Accessories: Stitched Stars Dies (retired), Tailor Made Tags Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Stars & Stripes Wheel (retired), Silver Metallic Stars (retired), Real Red Sheer Ribbon (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I don't make much in candy treats anymore but I do still enjoy making a few things here & there. I have one more July 4th treat to share with you tomorrow so I hope you will stop back!

My thoughts today...

On rainy days I like to craft or sit out on the porch and watch it rain.
It kinda just depends on how warm it is or how crazy the rain is! LOL
Today I will most likely continue my binge watching of Chesapeake Shores. I am getting ready to start Season 4. The last episode in Season 3 made me cry. *sigh*
Let me know your answer in the comments!

Thanks for stopping by & enjoy the rain!

Happy July 4th

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!

I am going to skip the Christmas card series today as it is a holiday here in the US.

Today we celebrate America and July 4th!
Kelsey & Shady are coming over for a cookout.
The weather is beautiful for a cookout today!
Last night was Red Lion's firework display and it was the first in a few years we sat out and watched them! Miss Bailee did not do so well as every time there was a loud boom she barked. I ended up putting her inside but left the blinds open that she could lay at the window and watch. That worked much better and she did not bark then. The weather was perfect for fireworks last night and we could see them from our front porch. Of course, I had to put on long pants and a sweat jacket because the mosquito's eat me alive. The fireworks lasted maybe 30 minutes but there were so many around the area that we setting them off. That always makes me alittle uneasy that someone's house will catch fire.

I said yesterday I would share my July 4th decorations but thought today in honor of the holiday that I would share them now.

Most of the stuff is Rae Dunn that i've picked up over the last several months at Home Goods, Marshall's & TJ Maxx stores. I need to pop out to grab a storage tote to pack it all up this week. I have some cute summer things to put out next! Kelsey said she is ready to decorate for Halloween! Ummmm, it's a bit toooo early for that! Downstairs in my stamp room/family room I am decorated with Bee's. Since my blog is named WeeBEEStampin Shawn thought it would be cool to decorate with bee things. I will grab a few pictures and share with you soon!

That is all for today!
Happy Birthday, America!
