Frosted Snowflakes

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

Today I have one last spiral bound notebook to show you for Christmas in July!
This one came together so nicely and the mix of blues really spoke to me.
I used the retired Gingerbread Dies which went with the Frosted Gingerbread Bundle (retired 2021) for this along with the Beary Christmas DSP that I used yesterday. Take a look...

Project Details:

Stamps: Simply Said (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight
Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Very Vanilla, Beary Christmas DSP (retired 2023)
Accessories: Gingerbread Dies (retired 2021), Stylish Shapes Dies, Balmy Blue Sheer Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Two Sided Tape, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I am now out of spiral bound notebooks so I will start looking for more soon. I usually get them at the Dollar Tree but it is hit or miss with them.

Beary Cute Notebook

 Hello & Happy Tuesday, Friends!

Today I have another spiral bound notebook to share with you that I whipped up using some old Stampin Up! holiday papers. I left most of the paper do all the work and added just a sentiment to finish it up!

Project Details:

Stamps: Simply Said (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Night of Navy, Basic White, Blue Shimmer Paper (unknown source), Beary Christmas DSP (retired 2023)
Accessories: Everyday Arches Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Martha Stewart Jumbo Snowflake Punch, Night of Navy Ribbon (retired), Drusy Adhesive Backed Embellishments (retired), Dimensionals, Two Sided Tape, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love how this one turned out with those fun papers!
The focal image was diecut directly from the DSP. It reminds me of the Coca Cola bears that were out year ago! Do you remember those adorable Coke commercials?

All of my spiral bound notebooks are for sale if anyone is interested in them. Just shoot me a message! All notebooks come with the RSVP Pens that have a strip of DSP in the barrel to match the notebook. These pens are worth their weight in gold! LOL

Today we are in for a very humid day with thunderstorms likely!
I know my yard & flowers could use some rain!

Perennial Lavender Card Set

 Hello & Happy Thursday, Friends!

A rainy day is on tap here with some cooler temps! I won't complain about the rain since we really need it. Last evening we celebrated Kelsey's birthday with takeout Hibatchi. We decided to to do that instead of going out to eat since we were getting severe thunderstorms!

Today I have a set of cards to share that will be going up for sale. I used up some Painted Lavender DSP and made a simple set of all occasion cards plus a matching composition notebook which I will package up in a clear acrylic card box.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sassy Salutations (retired 2012), Simply Said (retired 2026)
Ink: Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Shaded Spruce, Basic White, Painted Lavender DSP (retired 2026)
Accessories: Painted Lavender Dies (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Two Toned Sparkle Gems (retired Online Exclusives), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I left the inside blank so that maybe someone would like to write their own message inside or I can always stamp something. It will be up the the buyers preference.
These will come with envelopes and will mail flat since nothing is popped up.

I made several packages of all occasion cards that I am selling. If you ever see something your interested in please shoot me a comment or an email at blueyes966@outlook.com

Zinnia Gift Set

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Miss Bailee is off to doggy day spa this afternoon so I am going to make this post quick.
I have been working on a few gift sets using up retired paper. This first set I used the Simply Zinnia suite of products from the 2024 Online Exclusives that has been retired awhile now. It makes some beautiful cards and I have used this set over & over again!

Project Details:

Stamps: Simply Zinnia (retired Online Exclusives), Warmest Regards (retired wood mounted set), Simply Said (on the notebook)
Ink: Melon Mambo, Stampin Blends- Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Basic White, Flowering Zinnia's DSP (retired Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Simply Zinnia Dies (retired Online Exclusives), Melon Mambo Cotton Ribbon (retired), Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I packaged all 5 cards & the little Composition Notebook & pen inside an acrylic card box. It's a beautiful gift idea and I am making all the cards into all occasions.
I am thinking of adding a For Sale page here on my blog to start selling some of my creations or else selling on Ebay. I have so many creations and would like to find a good outlet to start selling some of my items. If you have any suggestions please let me know in the comments.

This set of cards are so fresh & fun! I love the brightness of them and this design, while it is a bit complicated to use, it displays the patterns and colors in each piece of the DSP beautifully! Each card is blank inside.

To Market Thank You

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Friends!

Hope your weekend is off to a good start!
It's going to be a rainy day here. It's also Shawn's birthday!
We are going to a local church later to get chicken barbeque dinners which is something he has been wanting to do! He is still dealing with a head cold but I think each day he is feeling better. I just hope I do not get it next.

Today I have a pretty card to share that I actually made last year on July 4th. LOL I found it as I was going thru my computer pictures and wanted to share it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Simply Said
Ink: Garden Green
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green, Basic White, To Market DSP (retired 2024)
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Translucent Adhesive Backed Dots (retired), Linen Thread, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This was so fun to create!
Lots of tearing of the DSP but the look is really different and it adds texture to the card.

Just A Note Notebook

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Yesterday was such a nice day...hated to see it end!
I say that because this morning it's raining and much cooler than it's been. We even have freeze warnings in effect for tomorrow night into Tuesday morning. Crazy, right? It is still spring so it does happen.

Today I have a cute spiral covered notebook to share with you.
This one is on my shelf in my stamp room for sale.

Project Details:

Stamps: Simply Said
Ink: Fresh Freesia
Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Gold Mesh Ribbon, Sparkle Dot Essentials. Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Two Sided Tape

When I recover these spiral bound notebooks I undo the spiral and take the front & back covers off. I recover those with DSP then add a piece of white cardstock to the inside of the covers to make it nice. People can also write on the inside cover if they wish. Once I have the covers done inside & out I put the covers back on the spiral and decorate the front. I also use the RSVP Pens from Pentel and add a matching strip of DSP inside the barrel so it matches the notebook. I remember when I use to do craft shows I could never keep these in stock because they were highly sought after by some local ladies. Every year they buy up all my stock for gifts. Those were the days!
I still love making them and usually sell quite a few yearly to some friends. I like to make them for Kelsey too, cuz she uses them for her budget at home or even for work to take orders. As long as I can find the spiral bound notebooks....I will continue to make them! It's probably one of my favorite things to make!
If you want to see more of these covered notebooks please go to my side bar and look for Tablets. That will show you all that I have made over the years!

Do you have something you prefer to make other than cards? Let me know if the comments!

Extreme Snowboard HB

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

We are in for a nice day today & tomorrow!
50 degrees with lots of sun which every little bit of warmth & sunshine will melt the snow.
I'm so ready for spring!

Today I have a card to share with you that I made for on my card rack.
I pulled out a retired single stamp called Extreme Snowboard that was out in 2009. I can't say that I have ever used it that I remember. LOL I found the perfect patterned paper in my stash that was spot on for this stamp!

Card Details:

Stamps: Extreme Snowboard (retired 2009), Simply Said
Ink: Boho Blue (retired In Color), Pebbled Path (retired In Color)
Cardstock: Boho Blue, Pebbled Path, Basic White, Got Moxxie -Hit the Slopes Patterned Paper
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Basics 3D EF (retired Online Exclusives), Pebbled Path Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

We have a ski resort close to here that I am sure has been busy this winter with all the snow! I have a feeling that this card won't be on the card rack too long!

Stampin Up! brought out a couple of these Extreme stamps back in 2009.
I have 3 of the 5. Do you remember these stamps?

December Birthdays

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Friends!

A dreary, rainy day is upon us so I am taking advantage of working on Audrey's card order.
I started it yesterday and already my hands are aching.
Last month she requested a pack of birthday cards so I pulled out the Traditions of Christmas Specialty DSP and decided to give it some love. That paper is gorgeous! I ended up purchasing another pack. This is what I made for her...

Card Details:

Stamps: Simply Said
Ink: Secret Sea
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Basic White, Traditions of Christmas Specialty DSP
Accessories: Forever Plaid 3D EF, Holiday Rhinestones (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My sentiment was stamped onto a strip of cardstock and I just snipped the ends with scissors. Quick & easy and perfect for those December birthdays!

Gallery Blooms HB

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

It's a rainy morning here in south central Pennsylvania. No complaining from me since we really need the rain. It's been a dust bowl around here. So far this morning it's on the warm side but that is all going to change this afternoon as a cold front is coming in with much cooler temperatures. I noticed yesterday that the breeze was really blowing the leaves off the trees. Tis the season, right?

Today I have a pretty birthday card to share with you from the Gallery Blooms stamp set. I love that big ole flower in the set and always gravitate to use it. Take a look...

Card Details:

Stamps: Gallery Blooms, Simply Said
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends-Soft Seafoam, Cloud Cover
Cardstock: Cloud Cover, Basic White, Floral Charm DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Gallery Blooms Dies, Eyelet 3D EF, Neutral Matte Dots (Online Exclusives), Linen Thread, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Cloud Cover is a new In Color this year and one that I have barely touched.
It's an odd blue-ish gray but it is very pretty! Reminds me of an old Stampin Up! color, Bordering Blue.

Last evening I delivered another card order to Audrey and picked up the basket of Halloween treats. There was only 3 M&M Sticks left! That was a pleasant surprise!
It's always great to sit & visit with her! She looked great, too!

Today I have to get the finishing touches done for my Stamp Day w/Friends get together that I am having tomorrow morning. I cannot wait to see my friends and make some cards! WooHoo!

So sorry for the late update today! I have been busy wrapping up the last of my card kits for tomorrow's Stamp Day get together. I am all ready now!

Last evening I got Audrey's card order delivered to her. She looked so good and is anxiously awaiting some Fall weather! Aren't we all! LOL I am so blessed to have her in my life and have found a friend that I will treasure for the rest of my life.
The set of cards I am sharing was part of the order I made her as she has been on a roll with requesting the Zinnia cards!

I finally got brave and gave it a shot at coloring those pretty floral images!
Audrey really loved these and thanked me for all the hard work on coloring them!

Textured Notes HB

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Friends!

Another gorgeous day is on tap here in south central PA! I hope you get out to enjoy it!

Today I have card #2 to share with you from July's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. This one uses a terrific suite of products from the Online Exclusives called Botanical Textures Suite. I designed this card to be a masculine birthday card but could certainly be used for a woman as well.

Card Details:

Stamps: Textured Notes (Online Exclusives), Simply Said, More Sayings & Such (retired-inside)
Ink: Pecan Pie
Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Basic White, Woven Textures DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Textured Notes Dies, Neutral Matte Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This one was quick & easy to stamp & adhere together. I've been trying to keep the cards flat for easier mailing especially with the cost of postage going up!
I do really like that package of paper with the different varieties and prints!

Tomorrow I will share card #3 so be sure to stop back, ok?

Good Morning & Happy Thursday, Friends!

A quick post today then I am going to get my day started a bit earlier than usual. I have some cards to work on for Audrey which I want to get finished up and put aside for her. Today I have 3 Thank You cards to show you that I made from the 2025-2026 Stampin Up Annual Catalog called Kintsugi Inspirations. That is the name of the suite of products which I instantly fell in love with the moment I saw it in the new catalog! I love the colors in the paper, the embossing folder is beautiful and the stamp set is awesome (which I have not used yet)!
Audrey always orders Thank You cards so these will be put aside for her...

Card Details:

Stamps: Inspiring Imperfections, Simply Said
Ink: Misty Moonlight
Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Cloud Cover, Petal Pink, Basic White, Kintsugi Inspirations DSP
Accessories: Inspiring Imperfections Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Nested Essentials Dies, Joined Together 3D EF, Gold Flower Accents, Gold Ribbon (Online Exclusives), Cloud Cover In Color Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Love, love, love how these turned out and I really do love the entire suite!
The vases used on my cards were diecut directly from the paper which I love that Stampin Up! does this...it makes creating cards so much quicker!
