Miss Bailee

 Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

I do not have any cards or stamped projects to share with you today but rather wanted to share a picture of Miss Bailee who was at Doggy Day Spa yesterday.
Shawn brought her out to the truck in her little Valentine scarf.
I think my heart grew 3 sizes bigger.....she looked so cute!

Miss Bailee came to us from Lovettsville, Virginia thru Operation Paws for Homes.
Her foster mommy was the same lady that fostered Miss Gigi.
We wanted a playmate for Miss Gigi so we adopted Miss Bailee.
She was 2 years old when we adopted her. She came to the rescue after her owner surrender her to them because they were moving and could not take the dog with them. At 2 years old she still had alot of puppy in her but she was the sweetest dog. She is now 11 and still just a little lovebug! I could not imagine our lives without her. Miss Gigi did eventually warm up to having her in our lives and the 2 did get along well. When we lost Miss Gigi in April of 2022 Miss Bailee was sad a few days but when she realized she got even more love & attention she was fine. Miss Gigi taught her many good things & some not so good like killing chipmunks in the backyard which I hate. She does not have a single mean bone in her body so why she kills chipmunks is beyond me. It must be a territorial thing.
Anyways, she is the light of our lives and I wanted to share this sweet picture of her.
My little cuddlebug & lovebug all wrapped up in one!

And one more thing to add....Her adoption name was Zia Zia but her foster mom told us her original name was Bailee! Bailee is a great name so we kept it! We call her Bail Bail or Bailee Boo. We love her to pieces!!

Forever Fern Sympathy Card

Hello & Happy Saturday, Everyone!

Hope your weekend is off to a good start!
We are off to doggy day spa with Miss Bailee this morning. She really needs it!
Afterwards Ryan & Shawn are getting haircuts. I hope to do some stamping later in the day but that depends on whether Shawn wants to do something or not.

Today I am sharing a sympathy card I made.
I have never done a card like this before and the outcome was so pretty!

I started with a 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 piece of Basic White cardstock.
I punched out a piece of copy paper using a 1 1/2 inch Circle Punch and put a small amount of Tombow Mono Adhesive on it and place it in the center. I started with the one leaf image and stamped it with Mossy Meadow ink. If you were looking at a clock I stamped my 1st leaf at 2, 4, 8 & 10. Then I took the 2nd leaf and stamped it in Night of Navy ink at 3, 6, 9 and 12. Then the 3rd leaf I stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink in between the other 2 inks. I kept it at just those 3 ink colors and did not want to over do it. After that I pulled off the circle copy paper and placed my sentiment there. I was pleased with how it turned out! I am thinking of doing a card like this with the stamp girls in some spring colors! I do think they would like it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Forever Fern, Inspired Thoughts
Ink: Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Rich Razzleberry Enamel Dots (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I also added some stamping on the inside to dress it up!
So pretty!

Congratulations Baby!

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

I hope your day is off to a great start!
I am working on laundry at this early hour!
That chore never seems to end, does it?

Today I have an adorable baby card to share with you!
This is made with the Happy Forest Friends DSP and a cute saying from the Charming Sentiments stamp set....all from the 2022-2023 Stampin Up Annual Catalog!

The paper on my card is just perfect for a sweet Congratulations card and the only thing I had to stamp was the sentiment. All those sweet animal images are printed on that paper. I recently seen someone used it to make a Valentine card for their grandson and complimented it with alot of hearts! It was just the sweetest!

Card Details:

Stamps: Charming Sentiments
Ink: Calypso Coral
Cardstock: Calypso Coral, Basic White, Happy Forest Friends DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Calypso Coral Ribbon (retired), Calypso Coral Enamel Heart (retired), Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Yesterday I worked at my stamp table from 6am thru 3pm on designing cards for the next several Stamp Day w/ Friends get togethers. I love designing cards! Today I have a kit on my table that I need to finishing prepping then I have one more idea to work on. I love being able to pull out my retired stuff and mix it with new things. My stamp girls don't mind and it helps me to use up what's in my stash!

Today is going to be a 2 cup kind of day to keep me moving!
We've had so many rainy, dreary days that I would rather just sleep the day away.
Sunshine really helps to keep me motivated, most days!

Speedy Recovery

 Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

Yesterday turned out to be a mess with the snow then turning to all rain.
It got very windy, too! At one point our power flickered and took out the cable for a few hours. I hope today we are in for sunshine because I have a busy day ahead. I started working on some card kits yesterday for the next couple of Stamp Day w/ Friends get togethers. My next one is planned for Saturday, February 4th. It's been almost 2 months since our last get together and I know this is much needed by all.

Today I have a cute card to share that I cased from Marisa Alvarez.
It was a free PDF that was attached in her recent email that I liked and decided to case it since I had all the supplies to make it. It uses the Speedy Recovery stamp set from the 2022-2023 Stampin Up! Annual Catalog.

Card Details:

Stamps: Speedy Recovery
Ink: Sweet Sorbet, Mint Macaron
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Basic White, Mint Macaron, Country Gingham DSP
Accessories: Tailor Made Tags Dies, Handmade Tag Punch, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, White Organdy Ribbon, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

With it being wintertime everyone has some type of cold and this card would be nice to send someone to let them know your thinking of them. It has such pretty colors which alone would brighten someone's day!

The cup & spoon both were fussy cut which I am not a fan of but loved the look of it. I really liked this layout as well.

Christmas Season Cards

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Today we are in for some wintry weather with snow this morning and changing over to all rain in the afternoon. We are close enough to the Maryland border that we could get a coating to 2 inches of the white stuff. It will end up just being a sloppy mess.
Last evening we went out for wings at Kelsey's restaurant then I wanted to go to Hobby Lobby for some Valentine stuff to decorate my one tiered tray. I also picked up some greenery to put in my very old hutch that was my mother's many years ago. I have it in my living room and have pictures and stuff displayed in it. Shawn fixed it up nice back in the Fall with new hardware and some chicken wire on the doors. Once I get it finished I will share a picture of it. It's one of my favorite pieces!

So today I have a set of cards to share that I made for Audrey right before Christmas.
She requested something that she could use for January. No sentiment and you know that always throws me for a loop! LOL
This is what I made her...

I pulled out my Christmas Season stamp set since there are images in it that could be used for January. She loves this kind of card to write notes or to send a greeting if she has run out of other occasion cards.

Speaking of Audrey.....She called me and left a message while we were out for supper.
She was at the Oncologist on Tuesday and her petscan came back all good!
Thank the Lord! What wonderful news! 💕

Card Details:

Stamps: Christmas Season
Ink: Garden Green
Cardstock: Garden Green, Soft Seafoam, Basic White, Painted Christmas DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched With Whimsy Dies, Scalloped Contour Dies, Real Red Linen Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Christmas Season is in the 2022-2023 Annual Stampin Up! Catalog and will be available until the end of April. It is my favorite Christmas set!

Heartfelt Sympathy Set

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

The sun is shining here today!
I'm thrilled for that so it will motivate me to get something accomplished!
Yesterday I did absolutely nothing.
I went to my stamp table and just straightened things up and watched tv the rest of the day. The lack of sunshine has been doing a number on me.
Only good thing is...it gave my hands a chance to rest!

Today I have a set of Sympathy cards to share with you that I made about 2 weeks ago.
I change out my little card rack maybe once a month. I recently took off the Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years card packs that had been sitting on it. I replaced those with your everyday card sets like Birthday, Thinking of You and Sympathy. I have one pack of Sympathy so I made another pack to go on there. This occasion never seems to last on my card rack and I felt while I had some down time to make more.

I started with pulling out my retired SAB 2021 Delicate Dahlia's stamp set and the Beautifully Penned DSP and got to work.

Card Details:

Stamps: Delicate Dahlia (retired SAB 21)
Ink: Memento Black, Real Red, Garden Green
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Beautifully Penned DSP (retired SAB 21)
Accessories: Scalloped Contour Dies, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Rhinestones, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I just love that big red dahlia flower in the middle!
I wanted to fussy cut them to make them pop but that would have killed my hands so I opted to just stamp them and let them be.
I had the Beautifully Penned DSP and just opened it.
Sad, I know!

Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Boxes

Hello & Happy Monday to you!

We're starting the day off with a foggy, misty rain which they say may change over to snow before this weather system leaves us.
I think it's too warm for snow so we will see!

Today I have a sweet treat to share with you that I made for Valentine's Day!
One day last week I was bored and was on You Tube. I follow Kitchen Table Stamper on there and found a video she had made in December 2020 using the Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Bars. She made the cutest Christmas box for them. I decided the next day I was going to make these except change them up to a Valentine's Day theme! I recently picked up 2 boxes of the Little Debbie treats at my local Giant grocery store but have seen them at many different places.

This is what the box looks like incase you want to make some of these! I will also add the link at the bottom if your interested.

Project Details:

Stamps: Country Bouquet
Ink: Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, Sweet Sorbet
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Sweet Sorbet, Basic White, Country Floral Lane DSP
Accessories: Simply Score Board, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Country Bouquet Punch, Corner Rounder Punch (retired), White Glittered Ribbon, Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These are so much fun to create and I enjoyed decorating the front once the treat was inside!
There is also room inside to slip a couple bucks in for the kids which is sure to be the sweetest part of this treat box!

Here is the link if you would like to make some...

I will most likely make these again because I know my family loves these!
I remember my Dad use to always have a pack of these laying on the kitchen table every night as he always took them to work the next day with his lunch. A pack of Nutty Buddy's and a banana! He surely would have loved this treat! <3

Card Set W/ Coordinating Box

 Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

I don't think we've had any sunshine since Tuesday and today there definitely won't be any since they are saying a mix bag of precipitation. I think the seasonal blues are setting in!
This girl does so much better with sunny days!

I've got a cute project to share with you today!
I worked for hours last Saturday to put this together and I love the outcome.
Marisa at Kitchen Table Stamper made this box for a few projects she did back before Christmas. I saved it for when I had the time.
This is the card box and a picture of the card box open...

She used The Yeti stamp set on one set and Forever Friendship on the other. Both stamp sets are from the Holiday Mini Catalog that just retired. I did not have either stamp set so I substituted the Cottage Wreath set for mine.

The inside has 2 pockets, one for the postage stamps and the other holds 6 cards & envelopes which on hers she put 8.
Here are the cards I made for inside...

Project Details:

Stamps: Knit Together, Cottage Wreath, Go To Greetings, Celebrating You
Ink: Sweet Sorbet, Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Basic White, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Cottage Gingham DSP  (retired- Mint Macaron, So Saffron & Calypso Coral)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Country Wreath Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, 1 1/2 Circle Punch, Genial Gems (retired), Mint Macaron Ribbon (retired), Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made this for myself but more than likely I will gift this away!
I'd really like to make another one but we'll see!
Hope you enjoyed seeing my recent project.
It was alot of fun!

Country Bouquet Bundle

Good Morning & Happy Saturday, Everyone!

Hope your having a great start to your weekend!
I've got a pretty set of Valentine's Day cards to share that I made last week for Audrey.
This is the last set that I made for her. I do have some baby cards to share soon that were also part of her order but next week I have some really cool things to show that I made for myself! LOL

This set uses the Country Bouquet stamp set and the Country Bouquet Punch. I wish this set would have come with dies because there are so many cute images in the set that would be so nice not to have to fussy cut! I am not a fussy cutter because it makes my hands hurt but sometimes I do give things a whirl but I pay for it later! This set comes with a coordinating punch which is a great thing but I still think dies would have been wonderful.
Also on this set of cards I decided to try something called Stack & Shuffle.
Take a look and i'll explain after the pictures...

I have seen many different demo's sharing this but it was when I saw LeeAnne Greff share her cards with this technique that made me want to give it a try!

You start out with 4 different sheets of DSP that measure 6 x 6.
Also be mindful of a directional pattern.
Then you cut them in your paper trimmer all together at one time.
Here is a diagram on how to cut your DSP.

Once you have them cut you have to lay them out and shuffle the patterns to get them where you want them. Such a neat idea and it is another way to display your designer series papers!

So you stack your papers to cut then you have to shuffle them around on your cardbase, Such a brilliant idea!
There are so many stamp companies today that sell their papers in 6 x 6 size so this technique would be so easy to try!

Card Details:

Stamps: Country Bouquet
Ink: Sweet Sorbet, Mint Macaron
Cardstock: Sweet Sorbet, Basic White, Country Floral Lane DSP
Accessories: Country Bouquet Punch, Something Fancy Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope you give it a try!
I know you will love it if your looking for something different!
