Picture Perfect Birthday

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your enjoying the weekend!

I'm still recovering from yesterday's Stamp Day w Friends!
It was really nice having all 6 girls at the table and you could just see their faces light up when we started stamping! For some of the girls it's been a long time since they did any stamping so this was a much welcomed craft day!

My friend Nan is also a SU Demo and I had asked her ahead of time if she would create 2 cards for everyone to make and she was happy to do that! I created 2 card kits too.

The card I am sharing is card #1 that I created.
I wanted something that would be colorful so I went thru my DSP's and found this retired pack of Picture Perfect Party DSP. It's always good to use up paper!!!

I have become such a fan of the Lemon Lime Twist color and will be so sad that it's retiring soon.
I did stock up on it so I will continue to use it!

This card definitely showcases several prints from that pack of paper!
We stamped the card base with the one speckled stamp in the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist and I tied each lady a bow from the Lemon Lime Twist Umbre Ribbon.

Card Details:

Stamps: Picture Perfect Birthday
Ink: Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist
Cardstock: Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Whisper White, Picture Perfect Party DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Lemon Lime Twist Umbre Ribbon, Glittered Enamel Dots (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Tomorrow I will share one of Nan's cards so be sure to stop back!
Everyone had a great time and I told them that we will plan another day in a few weeks.
Next weekend we are going to start tearing my stamp room apart and paint!
We've been in this house since 2011 and it really needs a fresh new coat!
I will share some photo's along the way!

Easter Blessings Set

Hello & Happy Saturday!

The weather today is suppose to be super nice!
70 degrees with sunshine and nothing makes me happier!
Well, except that today is my Stamp Day w Friends event!
It will be so nice seeing all the stamp girls again and having a great time!
After my stamping event I hope that Shawn & I can get the bikes out for a ride!
You know me, always trying to take advantage of the nice weather!

So, before my day gets out of control and it will at some point! LOL
I have one more set of Easter cards to share that I whipped up Thursday evening.
This set uses the Hold On to Hope Bundle and a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings set.

I really like this set!
Something about that beautiful cross with the greenery draped over it!
I was going to use this set for myself for Easter but I decided I will show these to my customer whom I know will snatch them up!

Card Details:

Stamps: Hold On to Hope, Itty Bitty Greetings
Ink: Fresh Fig, Pear Pizzazz, Powder Pink
Cardstock: Fresh Fig, Powder Pink, Whisper White, Floral Romance Specialty Paper
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Crosses of Hope Framelits, Classic Label Punch, Silver Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm really hoping next week once my Stamp Day w Friends is over that I can get started on making Easter cards for myself. I always put my customer orders ahead of myself and then find I get burnt out after fulfilling her cards. Guess I will be prowling Pinterest looking for some idea's to spark my creativity! I'm sure i'm not alone!

Gift Bags for Stamp Day

Hello & Happy Friday!

Just finishing up the last minute stuff before my Stamp Day w Friends tomorrow morning!
I'm looking forward to seeing all 6 ladies sitting around my stamp table having a good time while creating some cool cards!
My friend, Nan & I each designed some projects for the ladies which I will share here next week.

Today I am sharing the bags I made for the girls.
I make these for every Stamp Day w Friends so they have a nice bag to take their hand stamped cards home in. I enjoy making them as much as they like getting the bags!

Since I have several packs of the SaleABration Painted Season's DSP I decided to use some of that adorable mushroom paper to create my tags.
My sentiment comes from the Ribbon of Courage set. I love this sentiment!
The stamped fern is from the Painted Season's stamp set and diecut with the Four Season's Framelits.
I finished my tag with a big ole bow made from some Textured Weave  Poppy Parade Ribbon.
I hope the girl's like them!

Project Details:

Stamps: Ribbon of Courage (sentiment), Painted Season's (fern)
Ink: Poppy Parade, Mango Melody
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Painted Season's DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Four Season's Framelits, Ornate Tag Topper Punch (retired), Poppy Parade Textured Weave Ribbon, Poppy Parade Enamel Dots (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have my table all set up, projects & stamps ready to go....all I need now is my friends!
Can't wait!

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Man, the day got away from me again!
I ment to update this morning but then I found my way to my stamp table and the rest is history!

I wanted to share the last set of Easter cards made for an order.
I have everything ready for delivery now!

This set of cards uses lots of retired things.
The patterned paper is by Imaginisce and the line was called For Peep's Sake from 2008.
The sentiment is from a retired stamp set called Suite Sentiments.

I went thru my Easter/Spring papers and found these 2 sheets and decided it was time to use them!
11 years later and i'm happy to finally use it up!

Card Details:

Stamps: Suite Sentiments (retired)

All is going well with that!

Thinking of You from Wonderful Romance

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!
It was a really nice day here yesterday.
We spent most of the day outside cleaning up the backyard of leaves & tree limbs.
The green grass is starting to push up along with my spring bulbs.
My lilac bush is pushing green leaves, too!
It won't be long!

Well, as always when I try to help out in the backyard, I end up with my back hurting.
I know better but I like to help and being out in the sun is good for my psoriasis.
I have a stamp get together this Saturday morning so I need to get my cleaning done so I can get everything else ready for that. Hopefully in a few days my back will be better.

I have another set of cards to share that I made for a customer order.
These actually did not take too long once I had everything stamped & diecut!

I really LOVE this die from the Wonderful Floral Framelits.
Isn't that edge so pretty?!

I added a sprig of Calypso Coral for a pop of color on these.

Card Details:

Stamps: Wonderful Romance
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, Floral Romance Specialty Paper
Accessories: Wonderful Floral Framelits, Whisper White 1/8 Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The Floral Romance Specialty Paper has a few sheets of printed vellum in it as well as the regular printed sheets. I think it will be good for cards straight thru summer!

You're Inspiring

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Today is suppose to be a really nice day here!
Hope your enjoying the weekend!

Today I have a set of Easter cards made for my customer.
This year she asked for 4 packs.

This set uses the You're Inspiring set.

The daffodils are colored with Daffodil Delight & Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends then I used some Wink of Stella over them for some sparkle.
My tag comes from the Popcorn Box Thinlit Dies that retired last year.

Card Details:

Stamps: You're Inspiring
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Gingham DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Basket Weave EF, Tag from Popcorn Box Thinlit Dies (retired), Daffodil Delight 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Whisper White Baker's Twine, Wink of Stella, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I think these are my absolute favorites but all that coloring made my hand ache.
I made these over 2 days so I did not overdo it.
Perfect for Easter, don't ya think?

Get Well, Friend

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Earlier this week I had a chance to sit and stamp.
I was working on a card order then did a lane swerve to create a card for a friend of Shawn's.
Yesterday he had back surgery so this card will go in the mail to him.

I have been on a roll with using the Healing Hugs stamp set because my customer keeps asking for cards just like the ones I have made her previously.
I was inspired by a card I seen on Facebook using blue inks for the pretty roses and of course, I had to try it for myself.

My roses were stamped in Blueberry Bushel and Balmy Blue inks.
The leaves are Old Olive.
My Balmy Blue panel is embossed with the Subtle EF.

Card Details:

Stamps: Healing Hugs
Ink: Blueberry Bushel, Balmy Blue
Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel, Balmy Blue, Whisper White
Accessories: Subtle EF, Oval Layering Framelits, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I really like these colors and hope the recipient will like it, too!

Happy Easter

Hello & Happy Friday!

Man oh day....we had SO much rain in the last 24-36 hours!
About 3 and a half inches of rain is what I heard this morning! WOW!!
I figured it had to be alot because during the night our sump pumps in the basement started kicking off & on. One is located right under our bedroom and you cannot help but hear it. I won't complain though because it's doing what it's suppose too!
The rain has stopped but now the winds have taken over w gusts over 40 mph!
Yep, gonna be a hang on to your hat kind of day!

Today I have the 2nd Easter card to share that I made for my customer and the special little girl she requested it for. I had to make them different since they are sisters.
I found another sketch yesterday while blog hopping and so my card was created.

I started by looking thru a folder of patterned papers and found this adorable bunny paper that has been in my stash for about 10 years! It is by Moxxie.
I took a Stitched Shape Framelit (the smallest) and diecut 3 bunnies out and made this my focal point.
I layered the bunnies on a Square Layering Framelit diecut of Powder Pink.
My Whisper White panel was embossed with the Basket Weave EF and I LOVE this embossing folder!
The center piece of Powder Pink was cut and stamped with Happy Easter from the retired Teeny Tiny Wishes set in black but I smeared the ink when I glued it down. I was not happy about that!
Then I just stamped the saying in Powder Pink on Whisper White cardstock and punched it out with the Classic Label Punch and added some rhinestones.
I layered it all onto my Powder Pink Cardbase and called this done!

Card Details:

Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes (retired)
Ink: Powder Pink
Cardstock: Powder Pink, Whisper White, Patterned Paper by Moxxie
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Square Layering Framelits, Basket Weave EF, Classic Label Punch, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

A very easy & quick card to create if it had not been for my smeared ink issue!
I thought it still turned out ok!

Best Bunny

Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

A rainy morning here, indeed!
It's a great day if your a duck, I suppose!
I woke up this morning with a snoot full. I hope i'm not getting sick.
Most likely it will be a pajama day since it's dark, dreary & raining.
I don't even think a cup of coffee will help get me moving today!
I do need to push on and work on that card order I have been slowly picking at.

I saw a sketch on a friend's blog yesterday and saved it.
I used it to create a card for my customer. She requested 2 Easter cards for some special little girls but they have to be different because they are sisters.

This is one of them and the sketch I used...

Everything on this card is Stampin Up! except for the patterned paper.
I grabbed that at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago and may make up some Easter treats with it.

I used the sweet little bunny in the Best Bunny stamp set.
My sentiment comes from the Delightful Dozen set that is retired.

Card Details:

Stamps: Best Bunny, Delightful Dozen (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Stamping Blends (Petal Pink)
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Mint Macaron, Petal Pink, Whisper White
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Quick & easy and sure to make someone smile!
Hope you like it!
