Candy Corn Wreath

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Today I have a cute set of Halloween cards to share with you!
This set was alot of work and so I stretched out the coloring part over 2 days so my hands did not hurt. Take a look...

Card Details:

Stamps: Candy Corn Wreath-DRS Designs, A Halloween Hello (retired-2013)
Ink: Memento Black, Tangerine Tango (retired), Stampin Blends-Daffodil Delight & Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Tangerine Tango (retired), Crushed Curry, Basic White, Motley Monsters DSP (retired-2014)
Accessories: Stylish Scrolls EF (retired), Square Layering Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was pleased with how these turned out!
I used lots of scrap pieces of DSP and had to cut some to fit for this layout.
I'm getting down to the nitty gritty on this pack of paper as it was very well loved!

It's All About the Candy!

Hello & Happy Sunday!

What a weekend it's been so far!

Yesterday began bright & early as I was up early to go to the York Heirloom Stamp Show with my friend, Deb! It's the first we've been to the show in several years and noticed it's getting smaller. Alot of the really good vendors are not there anymore which is so sad.
Anyways, we both picked up a few things and made our way back home but not without running into 3 of the stamp gang! We saw Nan, Karen & Cinda, everyone but Deb R.
Then we picked up Shawn and grabbed some lunch at Kelsey's work.
She was surprised to see us.
Her general manager came over to our table and told us how wonderful of a job she is doing bar-backing and waiting on tables. That's always a thing good to hear about your child!
After that we headed over to Lancaster County to an Antique Store where they were having some Columbus Day sales. Didn't find much there so we headed home then back out to grab some groceries. Today will not be as busy of a day as I said I was not doing much since football is on!
I also need to get bed sheets and blankets washed.
Last night we broke down and turned the heat on. I was trying hard to hold off a bit yet since a week & half ago it was 93 degrees. We also passed on going to the Pumpkin Walk. I don't think I could have walked one more step after my busy day!

Today I have one last thing to share that I made for all the stamp girls to carry their cards & treats home in....A Halloween Gift Bag!

I used that adorable Candy Corn Die that my friend, Mary Anne gifted me with!
I love that thing!

Project Details:

Stamps: A Halloween Hello (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Motley Monsters DSP (retired)
Accessories: Unknown Candy Corn Die, Circle Layering Framelits, Pumpkin Pie Enamel Dots (retired), Crushed Curry Ribbon (retired), Hot Glue Gun, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My package of Motley Monsters DSP is just about done.
I may still try to squeeze in a few more cards with it so I can finally say goodbye to it.
It was definitely one of my favorites for Halloween!

The Paper Players Challenge 456

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Yesterday was a muggy day until the rain came thru!
It got instantly cooler which is perfect for sleeping at night with the windows open!

I spent most of my day at my stamp table working ahead on a list of treats that I want to make for upcoming holidays. Earlier this year I stopped making them because my hands were hurting. I thought maybe I was getting the start of Psoriatic Arthritis but they are not swelling, just achy.
Going to give it another try and see how it goes. I'm trying to do alittle bit at a time and not stressing over doing it all at once.

I did work on another Halloween card using that adorable Candy Corn Die that my friend sent me.
I just wasn't ready to put it away and decided to use it for the Paper Players Challenge this week!

So much fun!

Card Details:

Stamps: A Halloween Hello (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, Motley Monsters DSP (retired)

Halloween Notebooks

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

It's looking like a fabulous day weather wise here in PA.
Yesterday we had some frost on the grass in the morning and I actually turned my heat on enough to take the chill off. There was definitely a coolness in the air and the leaves are really starting to fall!

Today I have the last of the covered composition notebooks to share with you!

These make a cute little gift instead of giving sugary treats and so fast to whip up!
As soon as my customer saw these she went crazy over them!
Even Kelsey has dibs on one IF it does not sell. LOL

Halloween Covered Notebooks:

Stamps: A Halloween Hello, Amuse Sentiment
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Motley Monsters DSP, Spooky Night DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Patterned Pumpkin Thinlits, Candy Corn 3D Adhesive Sticker, Circle & Scallop Circle Punches, Halloween Night Baker's Twine, Tangerine Tango/Whisper White Baker's Twine, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The little pens I found at Walmart in the Halloween section. 12 pens for $1.98 and the ink is the color of the pen!

Halloween Cards

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Here are a few Halloween cards that I whipped up to send out. These were cards that I had in my "case" folder. Some I cased the exact way, some I made changes too and some are my own.

Cased from Wendy Janson

Cased from Mary Fish

Closeup of the Embossing Folder that is from Darice.
I had just picked it up at the Heirloom Stamp Show.

Cased from Kay Kalthoff

I used a variety of stamps, papers, embossing folders and cardstocks for these cards. If you have any questions please let me know! Thanks ladies for your inspiration!

The cards are addressed and postage has been put on these cards so come tomorrow they will go out in the mail to their destinations.

That's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

More Halloween Goodies

Hello & Happy Thursday!

A late post for me today!
I was at my stamp table all day today and i'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel so to speak. I'm quickly crossing things off my list that I have decided to make for the craft shows this season and that is making me happy!!

Today I am sharing just a few last minute Halloween treats that I whipped up!

First up is some tins my Mom bought me at Michael's and I filled these with Candy Corn M&M's.

I used some Witches Brew DSP to wrap the outside of the tin and used Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon around it. I used the Halloween Hello set for my candy corns and sentiment. I sold a few of these....

Then I made a few Nugget Packs.
These are fun and everyone loves the Hershey's Nuggets!
The spider web comes from a die that I borrowed from my friend Deb. It is from Amuse.

Stamps I used on the Nugget Packs are:

Trick or Treat
Spooky Bingo Bits
It's A Wrap-Holidays

Well, that's all I have for today!
Heading off to bed for now but will be back tomorrow for Halloween!
I love Halloween!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Halloween Owl Treats

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

It's quite the rainy day here in south central PA today! I had to turn on some heat this morning to take the chill off as I head downstairs to do some crafting. My Mom & Dad came yesterday and brought us a big turkey dinner for supper which was a really nice treat! We were all stuffed after that nice warm meal! Thanks Mom! It was much appreciated!! Anyways she took a walk down to my stamp area and was looking at what I had made already for my craft shows. She loved what she saw but also reminded me that I have alot more work to do. So guess what i'll be doing today? Yep, crafting! I know the countdown is on as we are less than a month for delivery at my one show. Crunch time is on!

So anyways, before I get started I wanted to share with you a few more Halloween Treats that I made up! My stamp girls pretty much got all of these! LOL I got the idea from my dear friend, Vicki! She made and sent my family some of these last Valentines Day and added a Twix bar to them! Mmmm love Twix bars! I decided to change them up and make them into Halloween Owls.  I added a snack size Hershey's Cookie & Cream bar to them. I loved them!

I made more but they went out the door before I had a chance to take pictures!
Becky Roberts I think is the original creator of these. Her blog Inking Idaho, which is on my side bar will probably have the directions to make these if your interested.

Halloween Owl Treats:

Stamps: Halloween Hello
Ink: Basic Black, Basic Gray
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Very Vanilla, various DSP
Accessories: Circle & Scallop Circle Punches, Sm Heart Punch, SU Fancy Fan EF, Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Liquid Multi Mono

So cute!

Well, that's all for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

I sat and made a template the same as the bigger Hershey Bars but smaller and I loved how cute they are! The Hershey's Candy Corn Mini candy bars I found at a Giant grocery store here in Red Lion. I looked at our local Walmart and did not find them. Kelsey & I had to taste test one and they are quite yummy!

Here is all the treats I made today!
