Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Hope you will stop by the Merry Monday blog to see what the other ladies created this week and play along with us! Can't wait to see what you create!

Curvy Keepsake Boxes-The Peeps Edition

Hello & Happy Sunday!

I'm up and at it too early this morning. My hubby and his snoring just drives me nuts on the weekends when we are able to sleep in a bit longer! I guess the sinus thing that we both have isn't helping either! So I just got up and decided to go downstairs to work on a project and I think a nap will be in order this afternoon!

Today i'm sharing another project made with the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlit! This thinlit is AMAZING....I love everything I have seen with it!

I seen many different versions on Pinterest in the last several weeks and watched a few video tutorials on how to make these. This is my version of the Easter Peeps Curvy Keepsake Box! I think it's just adorbs!

Easter Peep Box:

Stamps: SU Sentiment (retired)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Basic Black
Accessories: Curvy Keepsake Thinlit, Lg Oval Punch (wings), Owl Builder Punch, Small Heart Punch, 1 1/4 Scallop Circle Punch, SU Fancy Fan EF, White Gelly Roll Pen, Daffodil Delight Stitched Ribbon, Tombow Liquid Mono

I had an order for 6 of these along with 6 bunnies for a friend of my Mom's for their Easter Dinner table decorations! I bet that will be so cute!

Well, that is all for me today!
I have 2 projects to finish up today then just maybe I can get started on making myself some Easter things for gifts! Oh and some cards! LOL Isn't it terrible...i'm the card maker but never have any cards to send out for myself. :(

Blue Bow Easter Bunnies

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Still fighting off the sinus thing today! Ughh and today it's a very rainy day here in PA but the temps are to get to 65! Wish I felt more like having the windows open to chase the cold germs out! Anyways, today I cancelled my stamp day with Deb. We've been getting together the last few Thursdays since she had the day off. Hated to cancel on her but with having this constant headache, runny nose and just plain old feeling blah, I did not feel up to stamping and throwing my misery on her. Hopefully soon we can get together again!

So, here I sit today with the box of tissues and 2 doggies over on the couch snoozing away! We keep getting downpours of rain which is better than SNOW so I will not complain! It's loud when it's pouring and hitting the roof. Calling for thunderstorms as well later today. The joy of spring!

I went thru all my Easter pictures this morning and got them all prepared for blog sharing so i'm going to share more of my Curvy Keepsake Easter Bunny Boxes that I made for a boy.

I just love all the cool things that you can create with the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlit! It's amazing!
I picked up a pack of assorted Easter color Pom Poms at Michael's last week with a coupon. They just add so much to the box! Hope you like! Oh and when i get finished I will add my Bunny Tail picture to the post from the other day if you'd like to go check it out. These boxes definitely make for a cute little Easter gift filled with chocolate!

Well, that's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

A Special Card

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Today both my hubby & I both are under the weather. We fought off the colds all winter long and now that spring is here, it finally caught up to us. Last night I started with taking some cold meds and broke out the vaporizer again. I'm hoping to get a jump on it before it gets bad. I have been crazy busy in the stamp room and I think lack of sleep is catching up to me. Today and tomorrow is looking to be rainy so I plan to take full advantage of resting up!

I'm happy to say that yesterday I finished up the last of my Easter goodies to send to Kirsten's work! Hands are killing me but happy it's done! I did make up 20 more Bunny Curvy Keepsake Boxes and got them all filled with chocolate yummies! I think they are quite adorable!

So, I had a request one day last week from my good customer, Audrey. She knows a young lady that has recently won a swim competition and asked for a Congratulations card for her. I really scratched my head on this one since I do not own anything stamp related to swimming. I went on Google and found some clip art and the card was born.....I really liked it too!

One good thing about Audrey, she keeps me stepping with coming up with idea's!
What do you think??

Congratulations Card:

Stamps: Well Scripted (sentiment) and Clip Art (swimmer)
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic Black 12 X 12 Paper Pad Neutrals, Melon Mambo, Whisper White
Accessories: Circle Nestibilities, Finishing Touches Framelits, Melon Mambo Cotton Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Liquid Multi Glue

That is all for me today!
Going to take a breather today and just relax!

The Curvy Keepsake Box

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

The last few Thursdays my good friend, Deb K. has been coming over for a stamp day. She was lucky enough to have the last few Thursday off from work so we planned to craft the day away and we sure did! Last week she left a bit earlier since she had some things to do at home so I got to work once she left on making some adorable Easter Bunny's with the Curvy Keepsake Box. I have been seeing them everywhere and saved a few to look back on.

I popped out to Michael's Friday evening and got 2 bags of pom poms to add a fluffy little tail to the backside which I have not done yet. Stay tuned! I will add a picture of it when I get it done! :)

My Aunt gave me an order for 3 of these plus my Mom's hairdresser gave her an order for 6 more. Today I am heading downstairs to try and possibly get maybe 20 made today! Most will all go to Kirsten's co workers.

What do you think? I just ooohhh'ed and ahhhhh'ed them as I was making them! A bit time consuming since there is so much to punch out and glue together but you have to agree that they are too darn cute! I also made Easter Peeps with the Curvy Keepsake Die which I will share soon!

My boxes are filled with a Cadbury Creme Egg, a Hershey's Minatures Bar, a York Peppermint Patty (egg shaped) and a Hershey Kiss! It's full inside!

Curvy Keepsake Easter Bunny Box:

Stamps: Easter sentiment from an old SU set
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Basic Black SU Marker for his cheeks
Cardstock: Neenah White, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: 1/2" & 3/4" SU Circle Punches, Small Heart Punch, Small(the old small one) & Lg Oval Punches, White Gel Pen, Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits, Pretty in Pink Stitched Ribbon, Tombow Liquid Multi Mono

Well, that is all for me today!
Grabbing breakfast quick then heading downstairs a bit to get started on more of these cute Bunny Boxes! I will most likely need a nap this afternoon! I feel a bit of a cold coming on, unfortunately. Our weather has been so wonky lately. One day it's warm, next day it's cold again. Blah! Sunny & 70 is my kind of weather!! :)

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Merry Monday Challenge #151

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

We went out with the family yesterday for an early lunch at Red Robin for my younger brother, Randy's 47th birthday! My gift did not arrive in time to celebrate but we still had a good time eating & laughing! I hope the gift soon arrives so I can get it to him soon. Once we got home from eating I managed to get both Gigi & Bailee in the tubby for a bath! Good Lord those girls needed it! I'm happy to say that they both look & smell like a million bucks now! :)

So, today the girls over at Merry Monday have a new challenge for us this week! Kathy is our hostess so let's get to it!

For this card I pulled out a very unloved tree set that I probably only used once or twice at least. Warmth & Wonder is a very pretty set with wonderful images & sentiments in it. It seems to always get shoved to the back and I forget I have it. Not today! I broke it out with some Winter's Frost DSP that I just love! I purchased 5 packs when it hit the clearance rack a few months ago! LOL

I stamped my tree in Island Indigo ink and used Silver Metallic ink for the little balls on the tree I added some rhinestones on that tree panel for interest along with my sentiment. Quick & easy!

Merry Monday Challenge #151 Card:

Stamps: Warmth & Wonder
Ink: Island Indigo, Silver Metallic
Cardstock: Island Indigo, Whisper White, Winter's Frost DSP
Accessories: Top Note Die, Stamp A Ma Jig, Rhinestones, Tombow Liquid Multi

I hope that you will stop by the Merry Monday blog to see what the ladies have created this week! So many fabulous trees for inspiration!

Well, that's all for today, friends!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Happy Spring!

Hello & Happy Sunday!

It's finally SPRING!!! Yippppeee Skippeeee!!!!!

So sorry for the lack of posts lately! I've been crafting the last few days but not updating the blog. I've been working on Easter goodies which I am just about done with so I will begin to post that stuff. I already sold quite a bit of stuff and now i'm working on the second batch for Kirsten's co-workers. I was asked by 2 different people to participate in 2 spring craft shows that I have turned down. I'll just stick to doing my usual Christmas shows!

So, yesterday we had no plans to go anywhere so we stayed home and I crafted the day away! I have a few orders on my table from my Aunt and one from my biggest customer, Audrey. She surely keeps me busy! LOL My aunt requested some Easter Hershey Bars for her family for Easter dinner. I got to work on making them because I enjoy making them! Here is what I made her....

Easter Hershey Bars:

Stamps: Cheerful Critters, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Memento Ink, Baked Brown Sugar, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Pool Party, Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Fresh Prints DSP Pad
Accessories: Circle Punch, Paper Crimper, Pool Party Button, White Twine, Glue Dot, Liquid Multi Glue

And then I got an order from a lady that was once my High School English teacher. She met up with me at my John Wright Christmas Craft Show and has been purchasing from me since. I always liked her in school and she lived 2 blocks from me so I knew her pretty well. She had requested some soft tissue pack holders for Easter. This is what I made for her.....

I picked up the Swankies Tissue Packs at my local Giant grocery store. This is the only place I have seen them. I did up some Easter Bunny Tissues but I did not take any pictures.
I paired up the Tulip Tissues with the tulip paper in the Painted Blooms DSP Pack from Stampin Up. They are almost the same colors!

Tulip Tissue Packs:

Stamps: Springtime Smiles sentiment (retired)
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Rose Red, Daffodil Delight, Soft Sky, Whisper White, Painted Blooms DSP
Accessories: Score Board, Circle & Circle Scallop Nestibilities, Soft Sky 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Pearls, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Liquid Multi Glue

Well, that's all I have for today!
Heading out to Red Robin for lunch with the family. Today is my younger brother, Randy's 47th birthday! I ordered him a really cool gift from Joplin MO from a wing place that we visited quite frequently when we lived out there but it hasn't arrived yet. He loves to barbeque so I know he will love what I got him!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Sketch Challenge 530

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Another dreary rainy day with heavy snow in the forecast for tonight into tomorrow. I'm starting to feel like I live in Alaska instead of PA. I'm so ready for spring because I don't handle the cold temps anymore with my back and shoveling snow is definitely out of the picture for me these days!

So, i'm spending the day down in my stamp room again. Working on some cards and doing some reorganizing. Before I get into having a messy table I hopped over to Splitcoaststampers to get today's Sketch Challenge 530. I immediately thought this would be a great sketch for a birthday card for my younger brother, Randy. His birthday is in a few weeks.

I love when a card turns out the way you pictured it in your head! I'm sure my brother will love this! He's become a big fan of my cards and candy treats in the last few years! Who would have thought! LOL

Sketch Challenge 530 Card:

Stamps: Wetlands, sentiment from DRS Designs
Ink: Island Indigo
Cardstock: Smoky Slate, Island Indigo, Basic Gray, Whisper White, Adventure Bound DSP Pad

Color Challenge 520

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

It's a yukky weather day here in PA today! Sleet, freezing rain & snow are falling so it's a good day to just stay in and create! I worked on Easter treats earlier today and then moved on to the SCS= Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge. They have some pretty colors once again today so let's hop to it!

The colors are:

Coastal Cabana, Real Red & Daffodil Delight

I'm not sure what it is about this flower but I just adore it! I pulled out some papers from the retired Fresh Prints DSP Pad and just used this Coastal Cabana stripe. It reminds me of the beach!
The dessert option was to make a Thank You card. Easy Peasy!

Stamps: Mixed Bunch, Simply Sketched (sentiment)
Ink: Real Red, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Fresh Prints DSP Pad
Accessories: Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle Dies, Blossom Punch, Circle Punch, Rhinestone, Coastal Cabana Twine, Dimensional, 2 Sided Tape

Hope ya like!

I'm off to grab some supper then hit the stamp table a bit longer!

Gifts of Kindness Set

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!

Today i'm headed downstairs to craft a bit. I started working on Easter treats but still have a bunch more to do! I've spent several days last week looking for some cute idea's while I was taking it easy with my back. I pinned a few idea's on Pinterest so I know need to put my spin on them! I also have an order for Easter cards already!
Anyways, here is another pack of cards for Audrey. I just love the colors of these. I also was finally able to ink up this stamp set that i've had for awhile now. Gifts of Kindness, such a great set & full of sentiments too!

I used Hello Honey & Blackberry Bliss on this set. Very pretty colors together, don't you think?
I added a gold circle clip with a piece of Blackberry Bliss ribbon tied in a knot. It still keeps the card very mail friendly! :)

Gifts of Kindness Card Set:

Stamps: Gifts of Kindness
Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey
Cardstock: Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Whisper White, Moonlight DSP
Accessories: Gold Circle Clip, Blackberry Bliss Ribbon, 2 Sided Tape
