Heartfelt Hello's

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

It's quite chilly here today with rain showers. I know we need the rain but I'm so ready for the days of warm weather....not hot & humid, just comfortable!

Today I have my last Mother's Day card to share with you. This one was made last year but I never shared it here. It uses everything retired, of course!

Card Details:

Stamps: Heartfelt Hello's (retired SAB 2024)
Ink: Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Pool Party, Basic White, Sunny Days DSP (retired SAB 2024)
Accessories: Hexagon Punch, Perennial Postage Dies, Petal Pink Scallop Ribbon (retired), Petal Pink Sequins (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

That DSP is so pretty and perfect for those spring time cards!
I have alot of this DSP left that I hope to use up one day! It's too pretty to let it go!

Tomorrow we are back to the usual everyday occasion cards!
I will share some Father's Day cards soon, too!

Hexagon Thank You

Hello & Happy Tuesday, Friends!

Today I promised that I would share the set of Thank You cards I made for Audrey. I saw this technique done by Patty Bennett recently and gave it a try! I love it!

Card Details:

Stamps: With You In Mind (Million Dollar Achiever Set)
Ink: Night of Navy, Cloud Cover (In Color)
Cardstock: Cloud Cover (In Color), Basic White, Peaceful Garden DSP
Accessories: Hexagon Punch, 2 Inch Circle Punch, 2 3/8 Scallop Circle Punch, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This DSP did not get used much during the holiday season so I pulled it out and used it for Audrey's Thank You cards. The prints are not holiday related so I thought they would work well for these. They do have a winter feel to them, though.
These were easy to create using the punches. Hope you will give it a try!

Sending Love & Hugs

 Hello & Happy Monday, Friends!

Hope you had a nice weekend!
We got a walk in before those crazy winds kicked in yesterday. It felt so good to walk again! I also finished Audrey's order and got the gift bag ready. I was writing out her order slip and realized I forgot to make a pack of Thank You cards (yikes) so it was back to the stamp table for another round of cards! Now everything is ready for delivery tonight!

I have another Valentine's Day card to share that I made last year and never shared it here. Everything is retired on it but it's a lovely card that I really, really like!

Card Details:

Stamps: Heartfelt Hexagons (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, Basic White, Most Adorned DSP (retired)
Accessories: Hexagon Punch, Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon (retired), Adhesive Backed Trio Sequins (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was reminded of this card when I saw Patty Bennett's blog post on Friday where she made the coolest background using the Hexagon Punch and a few sheets of patterned paper. My card was made last winter and most likely I was inspired by her! Yesterday, I used this same design to create a pack of Thank You cards for Audrey. I will share them tomorrow so make sure you stop back! So easy and I love that it showcases different prints on the DSP!

Heartfelt Hexagons

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Yesterday turned out to be a rainy/stormy day which wasn't a bad thing since we need the rain! Shawn got his fishing trip in with no problems but hit rain on his travel home. It was 9pm when he finally walked thru the door which made for a VERY long day for him. This morning he is still sleeping and he might be there most of the day!

I spent most of the afternoon at my stamp table and created this pack of cards using the Favored Flowers DSP that retired last year. It was a 2023 SaleABRation offering. I'm trying so hard to use this pack of paper up but still have quite a few sheets left. I also pulled out a bundle called Heartfelt Hexagon which is still available on the Online Exclusives List. It came out in the 2024 Spring Mini Catalog and it's one that I have not used much...

Card Details:

Stamps: Heartfelt Hexagons (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral, Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Basic White, Favored Flowers DSP (retired SAB 23)
Accessories: Hexagon Punch, White Glittered Ribbon (retired), Iridescent Rhinestones (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal Adhesive

This pack has 6 cards in it. I probably could have made a 20 pack for as much DSP I have. LOL The pieces of my DSP strips are 3 3/4 x 1 1/4. I have grown to like this design because if showcases the different prints in the paper and all I had to do was add my sentiment.
Easy Peasy!

Hopefully today I can get back to my stamp table and play a bit!
Still on a mission to use up my retired stash.

Happy Valentine's Day 2024

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I missed the ball on making & sending any Valentine's Day cards to my family & friends this year. I'm so sorry for that and very unlike me.
This is one card I did make a few weeks ago...

Card Details:

Stamps: Heartfelt Hexagons
Ink: Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Basic White, Poppy Parade DSP
Accessories: Hexagon Punch, Sweet Sorbet Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Update:
I'm still having a few difficult days with getting side affects under control.
I started a new once a week injection called Mounjaro to help get my A1c down and I am having some mixed reviews on it. I went last Friday to see the diabetic nurse and she showed Shawn & I how to do the injections. Shawn actually was a champ and did my 1st one. I have felt ok. Had some queasiness the next day and feel a bit depressed. I am now dealing with constipation which has always been an issue with me. It's been almost a week since I have last had a bowel movement. I have done my homework on this injection before I started and made sure to drink lots & lots of water, eat fresh fruits & veggies and yet here I am. This medicine is to slow down the gut to make you feel full longer and sometimes I get that but other times my belly is growling away. And I am awfully fatigued. I think the side affects of the blood pressure medicine have worn off as I do not have the lightheaded, dizzy, fainting spells anymore and I am able to function without having to sit down & catch my breath. I am still monitoring my blood pressure to make sure it does not go sky high again and so far so good!
I'm just not sure what to make of it all and not sure that this injection is for me. Thankfully, I have not gotten severely sick which was my main concern but who knows what will happen when I move up to a higher dose. I am not one for medicines or shots for that matter and most of all I hate being down & out. When my doctor suggested the Mounjaro injection I honestly did not think our health insurance would cover it and 3 days later we got the approval. So, time will tell and if something does not get a bit better then just maybe I need to say no and just work harder at getting that A1c down.
If anyone has any suggestions on any of my issues please feel free to leave a comment. I would appreciate any suggestions....
