April Gift Bags

 Hello & Happy Friday!

I have been looking forward to today all week!
I am having a Stamp Day w/ Friends this evening and I can't wait to see my friends and make some cards!
I try to hold a Stamp Day w/ Friends once a month and I also decorate gift bags for them to carry their cards home in!
It also is a great way to use up all the DSP I have!

Here are the bags I made for April...

I have been using the daylights out of the Pansy Petals DSP!
The prints and colors are very pretty!

Project Details:

Stamps: So Sentimental
Ink: Fresh Freesia
Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Pansy Petals DSP
Accessories: Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Fresh Freesia Ribbon, In Color Jewels, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Variety Cards

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Yesterday turned out to get pretty hot & kinda sticky here!
Ended up putting Ryan's air conditioner in last evening because he did not sleep too good the night before. Hopefully that will help him!
We got the bikes out last evening, too!
I peddled my butt off for 7 miles and only took 1 water break!

Today I have a couple of cards to share that I made up one day last week.
I did a variety...

This design came from the Kitchen Table Stamper's Wonder Recipes and I have been using them for the last several weeks!
I love the look of the different sheets of DSP and the added elements.
This one uses a retired butterfly die called Bold Butterfly Framelits.

Card Details:

Stamps: Happy Thoughts
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral
Cardstock: So Saffron, Basic White, Butterfly Bijou DSP
Accessories: Bold Butterfly Framelits, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Tasteful Labels Dies, Bermuda Bay & Calypso Coral Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My sheets of DSP measure 2x3 just incase your wondering!
Then just randomly place them on.
I love how these turned out!

Pansy Card Set

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I'm a wee bit late this morning updating.
It got quite toasty here yesterday....we hit 80 degrees!
I had a hard time falling asleep last night that is why I slept longer this morning.
We got the bikes out last evening and did 6 miles.
It was a beautiful evening for it!
We will probably go again this evening as long as the rain & winds stay away!

Today I have a set a cards to share with you that my customer called and asked for last week. She likes her cards that have no sayings on so she can use for different occasions but I struggle with them. This time it seemed to come a bit easier!

I have said before that pansies are my least favorite spring flower, i'm not sure why but I never buy them. The Pansy Suite in the new 2021-2022 Stampin Up! Annual Catalog was the only thing that I have purchased so far from the demo preorder period. It was something different than anything else I have in my giant collection of stamps & papers. It has turned out to be a surprise to me as I have used the daylights out of the stamps & DSP!

Card Details:

Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Soft Succulent, Pale Papaya, Pansy Petals DSP
Accessories: Pale Papaya Ribbon, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love every sheet of paper in the Pansy Petals DSP, especially the gingham prints!
There are also flowers & leaves in the DSP that can be diecut out as well and I just love that Stampin Up! does that!

Did you notice the new In Color, Soft Succulent?
It's a nice green color that reminds me of Sage Shadow from many years ago!

So very true!

Sweet Strawberry Bundle

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

We are in for a beautiful day here in south central PA!
We are gonna get the bikes out this evening for a nice ride as long as it's not windy!

Yesterday I worked on getting my card kits ready for my next Stamp Day w/ Friends get together this week! I cannot wait to see my friends and laugh!
This card is one that we will be making!

This Sweet Strawberry Bundle has been on the backorder list for weeks if not months but I do think a shipment is due in soon! Plus, it will be around alot longer now that it has carried over to the new 2021-2022 Stampin Up! Annual Catalog.

My card uses Berry Delightful DSP from the last SaleABration which is now retired. I kept this one simple for the girls to create.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweet Strawberry
Ink: Real Red, Garden Green
Cardstock: Real Red, Garden Green, Whisper White, Berry Delightful DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Strawberry Builder Punch, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Red Rhinestones, Red Ribbon (retired), White Baker's Twine, Dimensional, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope they enjoy this one!
I thought the strawberries would work well for this time of year because it will soon be strawberry picking time! Yum!

Thank You Gifts

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope you all are doing well & staying healthy!

I will apologize for the blog being unloved the last week and hope to get better about updating! I have been busy stamping the last week but got a bit lazy at updating like I normally do.

Today I am sharing a Thank You gift that I am trying to do better with.
I am a Stampin Up! Demonstrator and have a handful of customers that help with my quarterly totals for which I am very thankful for!
I learned from early on that a handmade Thank You card make such a difference and lets my customers know how much I appreciate their support & friendship!
In the last several months I have been getting some pretty nice orders from these customers so I try now to send a Thank You card along with a little Thank You gift.
I took some Stampin Up! Dimensionals which I have plenty on hand and fancied them up to send along with my handmade Thank You card.
Every crafter can use  Dimensionals, right?

Here are my Thank You Gifts...

I used some new DSP that is coming in the 2021-2022 Stampin Up! Annual Catalog called Pansy Petals. Beautiful suite of products that I have been playing alot with!

My cover measures 4 3/4 x 12.
I scored @ 4 1/8 and again at 9.
Took my Bone Folder and made sure to give my score lines a nice crease.
I wrapped my DSP around the package of Dimensionals then took some Fresh Freesia Ribbon (which is also new) and wrapped it around and tied a big fancy bow.
My sentiment comes from the retiring So Sentimental set.
I just got the stampset so you will see me using this long after it is retired.
It is diecut with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies that actually coordinate with this stamp set but the Dies are carrying over without the stamp set.

I then added my sentiment panel on with some Dimensionals onto the top flap of my cover so I can still open it. I added some new 2021 In Color Jewels (Pale Papaya) to them for some sparkle!
I really love the new In Colors this year! I have used so many of the In Color Jewels that my package is just about empty! I will definitely be ordering more of them once the new catalog starts!

Project Details:

Stamps: So Sentimental
Ink: Fresh Freesia
Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Basic White, Pansy Petals DSP
Accessories: Stitched So Sweetly Dies, In Color Jewels, Fresh Freesia Ribbon, Dimensionals

I hope that you enjoyed seeing my Thank You Gifts.
This quick & simple cover could be used on just about anything and it's a great way to showcase any pretty DSP!

Pretty Perennials HB

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Not much happening today other than a quick trip to Sam's Club and back home to cook food for the dogs! Yes, they get homemade food every week and they love it!
Gigi is a bit picky with the brown rice but other than that they both love it!

Yesterday turned out to be a nice day, just a tad cool & breezy.
We got the flower beds redone and all mulched!
I wish my back felt as good as my flower bed looks!

Today I have pretty spring card to share.
This uses the Pretty Perennial stamp set from the 2021 January-June Mini Catalog and a sneak peek from the upcoming new Annual Stampin Up! Catalog!

The DSP is new and it is offered as a Hostess purchase in the upcoming catalog.
It is called Pattern Party DSP.
Pretty colors & prints in this big package!

Card Details:

Stamps: Pretty Perennials
Ink: Pale Papaya, Flirty Flamingo
Cardstock: Pale Papaya, Flirty Flamingo, Basic White, Pattern Party DSP (NEW)
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Pale Papaya Ribbon (NEW), Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card was part of the card order I just finished up!
I hope my card lady liked it!

Congratulations Baby Girl

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Today is going to be a busy day as we are going outside to do yard work!
It's still chilly out with sun & clouds. I sure hope it warms up as the day goes on!

Before I get dressed to head outside I wanted to share the other baby card that I made for that card order. Again, I used that adorable Moon Baby stamp set!

I paired this adorable image with some Blushing Bride Gingham DSP that is retired. I kept this one rather simple.

Card Details:

Stamps: Moon Baby, A Good Kid
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends- Light Flirty Flamingo, Ivory & Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Blushing Bride, Basic White, Blushing Bride DSP (retired)
Accessories: Square Layering Framelits, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, White Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This is the last baby card for that order and tomorrow I will move on to something different. Hope you'll stop back!

Moon Baby Congratulations

 Hello & Happy Friday!

It's a beautiful sunny morning but it is quite chilly out!
Rain showers are in the forecast this afternoon.
I got my card order completed yesterday as it was only a small one so I hope to get that delivered over the weekend. If the weather is nice I hope to get the flower beds all cleaned up and maybe put some mulch down.
I also need to do a trip to Sam's Club!
Busy, busy, busy!

Today I am sharing a card that was requested as part of that card order.
They needed 2 baby cards and since I have a very limited supply of baby things I pulled out one of my favorite sets called Moon Baby!

Moon Baby is a retired stamp set but it's one I do reach for when I need baby cards. I do not have anything newer as far as baby stamps go because I do not make them very often.

Card Details:

Stamps: Moon Baby, A Good Kid
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends- Balmy Blue, Ivory & Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Basic White, Gingham Gala DSP (retired)
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Cable Knit EF (retired), White Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Blue Gems, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I had fun with creating this one!
I hope my customer will like it!

Dragonfly Garden Fun Fold

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Hope you having a great week!

Today I have a fun card to share made with the Dragonfly Garden bundle.
I try to keep Thank You cards on hand for when the need arises and this style of card is quick & easy!
I'm not sure of the proper name for it but it reminds me of a postcard because my little card on the front is layered onto a piece of cardstock measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
I forgot to take a photo in the card with the flap flipped up but I have made several of these cards before. If you look on the righthand side on my tool bar and scroll down to List, and look for Different Folds Cards that is where you will find more of this style of cards!

Ok, on to my card...

I am thankful that the Dragonfly Garden stamp set is not retiring with the 2021 January - June Mini Catalog and has carried over into the new 2021-2022 Stampin Up! Annual Catalog however, this beautiful Dandy Garden DSP did not.
I have not used it much so you will be seeing more of it down the road!

Card Details:

Stamps: Dragonfly Garden
Ink: Mossy Meadow, Calypso Coral
Cardstock: Bumble Bee, Mossy Meadow, Whisper White, Dandy Garden DSP
Accessories: Dragonflies Punch, Oval Layering Framelits, Blackberry Bliss Ribbon, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

As I was listing all the ingredients of my card I realized I did not use any Rhinestones or Dimensionals on it!
Those things are usually always "my to go to" items!
Every card needs some bling unless it's a masculine card, in which sometimes I add them to those cards too! Force of habit, I suppose!

Terrific Tulips

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

This morning my girls are off to Doggy Day Spa!
They really need it as they've not been there since the beginning of February.
They will look amazing once they are done!

Today I have a set of cards to share that I made for the last card order for my card lady. This uses the old retired set called Terrific Tulips!
Do you remember that set???
It is definitely an oldie but a goodie!

My tulips are stamped with Melon Mambo ink and this is a 2 step stamping set. The first layer of ink I stamped off on my scrap paper for a lighter look. Then I stamped the more detailed parts with full ink. The leaves are done the same way except with Old Olive ink.
My little butterfly is a diecut from the Nature's Thoughts Dies.
Lastly, I added some rhinestones because my card lady loves the added sparkle!

Card Details:

Stamps: Terrific Tulips (retired)
Ink: Melon Mambo, Old Olive
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Melon Mambo DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Nature's Thoughts Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

As you can see I used 2 different Melon Mambo DSP's.
I could not make up my mind on which side to use so I used the polka dots on some and the denim washed look on the other 3.
I really love them both!
Which do you like?

Snail Mail Hello!

 Hello & Happy Friday!

I'm so glad the weekend is here after the crazy week we've had!
It's a rainy, dreary day here today and i'm ok with it since we do need the rain!
Our grass is really shooting up so it will soon be mowing time.

Today I have a pretty cute card to share with you made with the Snail Mail Bundle from the 2021 January - Jun Mini Catalog.
I was late getting on the wagon for ordering this bundle but luckily I was able to get it before it went on backorder for weeks & weeks!

I also chose a layout that comes from the talented Marisa Alverez!
She has these Wonder Recipes on how to create cards using up your DSP!
I have been using them for the last several months and I always love the look it gives my cards! Thank you, Marisa!

Card Details:

Stamps: Snailed It
Ink: Memento Black, Night of Navy, Stampin Blends (Balmy Blue, Night of Navy, Poppy Parade)
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Whisper White, Smoky Slate, Well Suited DSP
Accessories: Snail Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Hippo & Friends Dies, Night of Navy Twine, Pacific Point Enamel Heart (retired), Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have fallen in love with this set and those adorable snails!
Only thing is....I wish it was carrying over to the new catalog but it's not.
Win some, lose some, I suppose!
