Hello & Happy New Year's Eve!

Not me. We are staying put at home and relaxing! Shawn was suppose to work today then it was decided he didn't have to go in. We figured Ryan & Kelsey would be home as well so we my as well just hang out, play Wii and watch the ball drop together!

Anyways, today I planned to share with you my top picks of cards for each month in 2012.

Holiday Snack Mix Boxes

Hello there again!

Today I was searching thru my folders to pick out my favorite cards of 2012, I found these pictures of my Snack Mix boxes I made for my cousin who ordered 10 of these. I made 5 of each.

I found the boxes at Micheal's in the candy making/cake decorating area. I used these to make some Halloween ones earlier this year which were a big hit with friends & family!
I used my Ornament Bundle to fancy these up! I wanted to keep it simple so I just popped up the ornaments, added some pearls. rhinestones, cord & ribbon and then added a sentiment. Inside is a Gusset Cello Bag from Stampin Up filled with White Chocolate Snack Mix.
My cousin, Brenda, was pleased with them!

Well, that's all for now!
Hope to see you back here again tomorrow!
Thanks for stopping by!

Peppermint Patties & Christmas Pics (long post)

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope everyone had a happy & safe holiday!
It was great here but i'm glad things are starting to calm down now.  My wonderful hubby got me some Eternity perfume, an Otter iphone case and a sewing machine! I'm so excited and intimidated at the same time because it's been years since I used one! I haven't even opened the box yet! LOL
We've also had snow quite a bit this past week. I love the snow just dislike winter! My sinuses are starting to act up again too so i've just been taking it easy and trying to get that straightened out.
Yesterday we had snow so Shawn & I went out to run some errands and grabbed breakfast at a local restaurant. The roads got pretty icy so we decided to go home and stay put. We put our pj's back on and played Wii Bowling to pass the time. I eventually went to my stamp room and played around and did more organizing. I'm looking forward to a new year and playing along with some new challenges! My card rack has been depleted this past year and needs some fresh, new cards put on it! :)

Anyways, today I want to share a little treat I had my stamp girls make at our last get together. I also sold a bunch of these to family and gave one to our mail lady.

It's not a very good picture as I was hurrying to take the picture before running it out to the mailbox for the mail lady! LOL The dsp came from Joann's and the sentiment is from Christmas Punch (a retired SU set). The holly sticker is a Jolee's and the red glitter paper is from SU punched with the Decorative Label Punch.

Here are also a few pictures from Christmas.

Merry Christmas!

Nothing to share today other than a picture or 2 of my Christmas Tree and to wish you all a very happy & blessed Christmas! We are off to Kirsten's today to spend the day with family. I love Christmas but this year i'm ready for the holiday hoopla to be over. Stressed, exhausted and ready for life to slow down some. Thru it all i'm trying to keep in mind the real reason for Christmas and cherish the time we have with our families. I could do without all the shopping & presents and just enjoy the day with our loved ones. This year we are missing our little angel in doggie heaven as it's been 7 months since we lost her.  Merry Christmas my sweet little Fluffy!

Wooden Mittens for Christmas Eve

Hello & Happy Christmas Eve!

Just a quick update today then I need to get my Cheese & Bologna tray ready for tonight at my parents house! She is having everyone in to mix & mingle and play Wii. Ryan has been in the living room practicing his Wii Bowling because he knows they give away cash prizes!

So, today I am sharing a few adorable wooden mittens I decorated for the craft show. My dear sweet friend Vicki, cut these out for me before we left Joplin last year and I finally got them finished up. Thanks again Vicki for all your help!

These wooden mittens are so cute and it's a nice way use up those last bits of designer paper you have! My original wooden mitten came from Hobby Lobby 2 years ago when I still lived in Joplin and Vicki made duplicates for me after I was not able to find more. I added my dsp with Liquid Mono Multi Glue and hot glued the lace on. Added ribbon, a snowflake, cord and my sentiment. Most of these sold this year at the craft show and the rest I used for Christmas gifts!

Well, that is all for me today!
Thank you for stopping by!

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!
