Pretty Pumpkins Set

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

I hope your weekend is going well so far!
We made it to Sam's Club last evening and then did a quick trip thru Hobby Lobby. Oh I just love that store....so many cool things to see! Fall & Christmas is everywhere as soon as you walk thru the door. I picked up a ladder for the family room to hang our Baltimore Ravens blankets on and a Black & White Buffalo Check Foam Mat for in front of the kitchen sink.  I already have one and it's so comfy to stand on....makes your feet feel squishy! LOL

Not much happening here at the Aungst Pad today. Laundry awaits me.
Preseason football is on tonight and I hope I can stay awake to watch it.
Do you have any fun plans today?

I have a set of Thanksgiving cards to share with you today!
I keep a folder on my laptop of cards that I adore and I found a card on Pinterest made 2 years ago with the retired Pretty Pumpkins bundle that I cased. I wasn't too sure on a Soft Succulent pumpkin but these days you see pumpkins in all kinds of colors so I gave it a try!

I'm not sure who the original creator was as I already deleted the picture from my folder but I thank you for the inspiration! My case is a bit different than the original but basically has the same design. The pumpkin from the Pretty Pumpkin stamp set was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. Once it cooled down I diecut it with the Detailed Pumpkins Dies and popped it up on Dimensionals, I added a white twine bow with a drop of Tombow.  The DSP is Harvest Meadow that is long retired, too! The sentiment is from the Painted Pheasant that retired last year. Lots of retired stuff on this card but happy to use what's in my stash!

Card Details:

Stamps: Pretty Pumpkins (retired), Painted Pheasant (retired)
Ink: Soft Succulent (retired), Versamark, White Embossing Powder
Cardstock: Soft Succulent, Basic White, Harvest Meadow DSP (retired)
Accessories: Detailed Pumpkins Dies (retired), Soft Succulent In Color Dots (retired), Heat Gun, White Twine, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Soft Succulent was an In Color for the last 2 years and they retired it in May. I wish this color would have stayed as it's a soft soothing color. I made sure I stocked up on the cardstock before it sold out because I have lots of different DSP's to use it with.

That is all for me today!

Thankful For You

Hello & Happy Wednesday or Thanksgiving Eve!

Today's update will be quick as I am working on some card kits for my next Stamp Day w/ Friends. I started designing a card yesterday right before supper and need to get everything cut & ready!

I am sharing the last treat I made for Thanksgiving!
I have a few regulars that love having something to put at each person's table setting so I do try to make a few things. This one uses the Nuts About Squirrels stamp set and a sentiment from last year's Pretty Pumpkins set.

Project Details:

Stamps: Nuts About Squirrels, Pretty Pumpkins (retired)
Ink: Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Basic White, Celebrate Everything DSP (hostess)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Festive Pearls, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have these 4 left that I will use for our dinner on Thanksgiving.
Kelsey will get hers late but she said she is coming over after her shift at the restaurant for a late supper and help us decorate! That should be fun! Yay!

Thankful for You

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have a date with my stamp table since my card lady called and added to her order. I was planning on working on some Christmas gift cards but that plan went out the window. Maybe tomorrow I will get to them!

I have the last Thanksgiving treat to share today.
I used a template/directions to a small box that my friend Vicki created many years ago. I love this size box and I did recreate it a couple years ago.

Project Details:

Stamps: Pretty Pumpkins, Gorgeous Leaves
Ink: Early Espresso, Stampin Write Markers- Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Basic White, Harvest Meadow DSP
Accessories: Hippo & Friends Dies, Intricate Leaves Dies, Gilded Gems, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Each box has 2 Snack sized Kit Kats inside and who doesn't love a Kit Kat?!

All Things Thanksgiving!

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Yesterday we got the trip to Sam's Club accomplished and groceries have been bought so I am homebound for the rest of the weekend! YAY!
I am going to get my bedsheets washed and do alittle stamping while watching some of my favorite Hallmark movies this weekend! I may even squeeze in a nap! LOL

Today I am sharing my last pack of Thanksgiving cards I made for on my card rack. I always try to make an extra pack to keep on there just in case someone needs any last minute!
I found this pretty plaid paper in my Fall/Thanksgiving folder so that is what I started my cards with. This paper is from Hobby Lobby.
I also paired it with the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set & Detailed Pumpkins Dies and my trusty PSX stamp!

Card Details:

Stamps: Pretty Pumpkins, PSX (sentiment)
Ink: Early Espresso, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Gold Foil Paper, Patterned Paper from Hobby Lobby
Accessories: Basic Borders Dies, Detailed Pumpkins Dies, Gold Cord, Gold Rhinestones from Michael's, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was pleased with these when they were finished.
I hope they sell and if not, I will use them next year!
I have now finished making Thanksgiving cards for this year.
I still have a few treats to share then I will move on to Christmas.

Here are a few pictures of some of the Thanksgiving displays I put out this year.
I wanted to share my Halloween ones but I forgot.
Hope you enjoy!

So Thankful For You

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

One more day until the weekend!
Do you have any fun plans?
I am looking forward to a trip to Sam's Club tomorrow then home to do absolutely nothing the rest of the weekend! I have been tired/exhausted all week.
I'm not sure if it's from the time change last weekend or maybe i'm coming down with a cold because I have been sneezing and dealing with a runny nose.
I plan to take a nap whenever the mood strikes! LOL

Anyways, I have the 4th card to show you from Saturday's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together...

Card Details:

Stamps: Gently Falling (set 2, retired), Pretty Pumpkins (sentiment)
Ink: Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Sahara Sand, Sahara Sand Stampin Write Marker (splatters)
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Basic White, Tidings of Christmas DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Pretty Pumpkins Card

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Boy, did it ever rain yesterday!
It poured pretty much all day and the winds were just as bad!
Today is foggy, cloudy and still spritzing out. I am off for a haircut at noon then gotta grab a few things at the store. Other than that not much else is on the agenda.

I stamped most of the afternoon yesterday working ahead on Christmas treats.
Our local Giant grocery store had Christmas candy out already so I grabbed a few bags to get started. I am trying to work ahead while I have no card orders.

I am sharing a pretty card made for Thanksgiving.
I know, we are 1 day away from Halloween but as a crafter I need to move on to the next holiday so I don't get too far behind. I find if I work ahead I am not sitting at my stamp table the day before Christmas working on things.
Anyways, this card today is made using the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle.
It's gorgeous!

I told you I was hooked on this style of card and that there will be more in the future! LOL

Card Details:

Stamps: Pretty Pumpkins, Banner Year
Ink: Memento Black, Pumpkin Pie, Stampin Blends- Granny Apple Green & Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Regals DSP- Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: Detailed Pumpkins Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Timeworn Type 3D EF, Gold Twine, Gold Rhinestones (Michael's), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The more I use this bundle the more I really like it!

Thankful for You

 Hello & Happy Friday!

A wet, rainy day is on tap here today!
It's the perfect day to do laundry & do some stamping!

Yesterday, Miss Gigi went to the Vet and got a good bill of health but they put her on pain meds for arthritis. The Vet said her coat & her eyes looked really good for a dog her age and the home cooked food is serving her well because her coat is soft & shiny!

Today I have a card to share that I made using the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle from the Holiday Mini Catalog. Such a pretty set!

Card Details:

Stamps: Pretty Pumpkin, Sparkle of the Season
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Versamark
Cardstock: Mint Macaron, Basic White, Bumble Bee, Pumpkin Pie, Gold Foil, Harvest Meadow DSP
Accessories: Ornate Frames Dies, Detailed Pumpkins Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Scalloped Contour Dies, Heat Gun, Clear Embossing Powder, Gold Twine, Gold Rhinestones (Michael's), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The colors I used on this were a bit different for me but in the end I loved it!
