Last Day.....

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I have a set of cards to share that is made with the retiring Tranquil Tulips hostess set.
This has been one of my favorite hostess sets in quite awhile with those pretty tulips.

These were made for a customer order and she requested tulips & purple with no sentiment on them.
Making cards without a sentiment always throws me for a loop but these were easy and just what she wanted.

Card Set Details:

Stamps: Tranquil Tulips
Ink: Wisteria Wonder, Old Olive, Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Wisteria Wonder, Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories: Lace Doilies, Old Olive 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Glue Dots, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

After today the Tranquil Tulips and the Wisteria Wonder ink & cardstock will be retiring.
I always said that Wisteria Wonder was a funky purple color so I am happy that it's leaving. The new colors coming in the NEW catalog has 2 new purple colors and they are BEAUTIFUL!

Wedding Card w/ Beautiful Bouquet

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Today I have a super quick card to show!
I noticed my card rack is looking a bit depleted so I thought I needed to get some cards made for it.
Wedding cards go so quickly and my card slot was empty.
The Sweet Soiree Specialty Paper was perfect for this!

So sorry about there glare on the cards. It's from the lights in my lightbox reflecting off the Silver Foil Paper. I loved the DSP with the wedding cakes all over it and the touches of foil in it!
I had to emboss my sentiment in Silver to match. My sentiment is from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.

Card Details:

Stamps: Beautiful Bouquet
Ink: Versamark
Cardstock: Powder Pink, Silver Foil Paper, Whisper White, Sweet Soiree DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Silver Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Powder Pink Ribbon, Silver Metallic Enamel Heart, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Liquid Glue

Super happy with this and how everything coordinates!
Sadly, this paper will retire tomorrow! Accck!
I have a whole pack that I will continue to use because it's just so pretty!

Truly Tailored

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!
My hubby heads back to work today. I'm not quite sure how he will get there since he travels thru Ellicott City, Maryland everyday. Just 2 weeks ago he took me down to his work and we went thru Ellicott City. It's a busy place for tourists with lots of shopping & eating. As most know this past Sunday it flooded out...really bad! He traveled many of those roads to get to his job and with a State of Emergency he will have to find another way. Some roads have been completely washed away.
Thoughts & prayers for those folks as they try to make sense of this and move forward.

So, I had a chance to sit and stamp most everyday this holiday weekend and that never happens!
I made SO many cards that I can't wait to share with you.
Today I have a card made using the Truly Tailored Suite from the Occasions catalog.

Again I used the Tailored Tag Punch to create this card using the True Gentlemen DSP.
I'm sad to see this suite retire this Thursday. I love the colors & prints in the paper and the stamp set is great for making those masculine cards! The entire suite is retiring with the exception of this amazing punch! It is carrying over to the new Annual Catalog come June 1st! WooHoo!

Card Details:

Stamps: Truly Tailored, Guy Greetings
Ink: Night of Navy, Tranquil Tide
Cardstock: Tranquil Tide, Crumb Cake, Night of Navy, Very Vanilla, True Gentlemen DSP
Accessories: Tailored Tag Punch, Tranquil Tide Ribbon, Night of Navy Enamel Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Hope you like!
I really love this punch!
It can make all kinds of interesting backgrounds with using DSP's!

Watercolor Garden

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope your all enjoying the long holiday weekend!
Our weather around here has been so so! Sunshine then clouds with just a bit of rain. Nothing too bad but south of the PA/MD border is another story. Some parts of Baltimore got hammered yesterday with rain. Flooding was bad!! Our thoughts & prayers go out to everyone affected by this. Shawn was quite concerned since he works in Baltimore.

Anyways, today I have a quick card to share that was made from a very old but good stamp set, Watercolor Garden! Anyone remember this set??
When I was playing around with the Blooms & Wishes set last week I pulled this set out as well and used the same inks.

I don't think I have used this set in years but it was fun to add some ink and make my own DSP with all the beautiful flower images from the set! My sentiment was diecut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and a Bermuda Bay Oval Layering Framelits was used for under it. I also added a few rhinestones throughout my card.

Card Details:

Stamps: Watercolor Garden
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive
Cardstock: Bermuda Bay, Whisper White
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Melon Mambo 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Glue Dots, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This one will be heading out to my mailbox tomorrow!
I have been trying hard to #makeacardsendacard each week!

Petal Palette

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Sunday already! This long holiday weekend is flying by!
Yesterday I was lucky enough to spend my afternoon at my stamp table.
I did some reorganizing with the new reinkers and got to play with some ink as well. No one distracting me except my belly when it was time for supper! LOL

The card I have to share today I made one day last week when I had some scraps laying out on my table. It just uses up some soon to be VERY pretty Painted with Love DSP.

I pulled out the Quilted Top EF to use on this...I really like the texture it brings to a card!
I also used some retired Rich Razzleberry Ribbon on this since it matched my cardstock. I have a slew of this type of ribbon that I snagged off the Clearance Rack awhile ago so I better use it up!

Card Details:

Stamps: Petal Palette
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Powder Pink, Painted with Love DSP
Accessories: Quilt Top EF, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Rich Razzleberry Stitched Ribbon, Gold Metallic Enamel Dots, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Just a simple design with texture and a whole lot of pretty with that DSP!
Painted with Love is probably one of my favorite papers!
 Do you have a favorite?

My thoughts today.....

Here in PA it is a very humid day!
Our weather right now is sunny with thunderstorms this afternoon. My AC is still cranked on!
Hubby is doing a pork roast in the smoker today to have pulled pork sandwiches for supper.
Other than that, not much else going on and that's fine by me.
Maybe I can squeeze in more stamping time!

Thanks for stopping by & have yourself a great day!

Abstract Impressions

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Anyone have any fun plans this holiday weekend?
It's going to be a hot & humid day here with a chance of storms.
My AC is already cranked on keeping it cool inside.

Today I have a quick card to show you that I made with the Abstract Impressions stamp set that will be in the new catalog come this coming Friday, June 1st! It also has a coordinating framelit set which I did not order when I ordered the stamp set. At first the framelits did not appeal to me but that totally went out the window after seeing some awesome idea's with just the framelits themselves!

For this card I pulled out a sheet of Garden Impressions DSP  and left it do all the work!
I added a quick saying to the front and a So Saffron Enamel Heart and called it done!

Card Details:

Stamps: Abstract Impressions
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, So Saffron, Whisper White, Garden Impressions DSP
Accessories: Triple Banner Punch, So Saffron Enamel Heart, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Isn't that paper yummy?
I have to say that the entire paper pack is gorgeous and full of flowers!
It's one of those paper packs that will do all the work for you!

Daisy Delight

Hello & Happy Friday!

It's been a long week and finally the weekend is here!
A long holiday weekend, too!
My hubby is off today so it's an even longer weekend for him!
He is planning on washing and cleaning inside both the car & truck today since our weather is to be nice! I'm not sure what i'm going to get into today but I have a few projects on my stamp table that I might try to finish up!

Today I have a set of cards to share that I made using the Daisy Delight stamp set.
This set was huge when it first came out a year ago. It is every bit of lovely and I have used it quite a bit in the last year.

I made these up without a sentiment on them since my customer likes having this type of card on hand that have no sayings so she can use them for almost any occasion. I really love this paper and stamp set. Sadly, the Delightful Daisy DSP was on the retired list and has already been sold out. The stamp set will carry over to the new catalog that goes LIVE in 1 week today! WooHoo!

Card Details:

Stamps: Daisy Delight
Ink: Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Delightful Daisy DSP
Accessories: Daisy Punch, 2 1/2 Circle Punch, Daffodil Delight Stitched Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

A fun set of cards to create and perfect for spring/summer time!
I personally love that Daisy Punch!

Blooms & Wishes

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Today I have a card to share made using the Blooms & Wishes stamp set which sadly will be retiring next week! I only recently got this set after seeing SO many gorgeous cards made with it. Personally, I think it will be one of those sets that will stay in my collection whether it is retired or not! I love all the flowers in it and can see it done in many different colors!

Card Details:

Stamps: Blooms & Wishes, Ribbon of Courage (sentiment)
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive
Cardstock: Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Melon Mambo
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Bermuda Bay 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I pulled most of my Brights ink pads out to create this one.
Such pretty colors don't ya think?
This one will be heading out in my mailbox today!

Friendship's Sweetest Thoughts

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Halfway thru the week!
2 more days till the holiday weekend arrives!
I'm looking forward to doing some things around the house (nothing strenuous), grilling and just relaxing! Not sure if we will get the bikes out or not since they are calling for summer like weather (hot & humid) but we'll see.

Today I have a cute set of cards to share that was made last week for a card order.
These use a set from the Occasions Mini Catalog that will be retiring come next Thursday, May 31st. It is called Friendship's Sweetest Thoughts.

Card Details:

Stamps: Friendship's Sweetest Thoughts
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Petal Garden DSP
Accessories: Lots of Labels Framelits, Pool Party Twine, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was drawn to this set as soon as I seen it and have used the sentiment quite a bit on other cards but never used the main image. It was fun to color with my Copics since I do not have the Stampin Blends, yet! They are on my list to order once they become available again! Anyways, I just love that little cart full of beautiful flowers! I know this set will be retiring but I will be using it alot more in the future! It has that perfect spring-summer look to it and who does not like flowers?!!
I'm pretty sure these will brighten up someone's day and that makes me happy!

Cool Treats

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I woke up to some sunshine today but things are quickly getting cloudy with rain on our doorstep.
Showers and thunderstorms are coming. Hopefully nothing too bad!

Today I have a set of cards to share that I made with the soon to be retiring stamp set, Cool Treats.
It's a great set for all things ice cream but I have found that I have not used this set all that much since it came out 2 years ago. It has matching framelits, too!

The DSP has also been long retired too but since I have 2 packs of it I am trying to use it up!

Card Details:

Stamps: Cool Treats
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Watermelon Wonder, Peekaboo Peach, Silver Foil Paper, Cool Treats Specialty DSP
Accessories: Frozen Treats Framelits,  Pool Party Satin Ribbon, Whisper White 1/8 Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

What a cute set of cards which is sure to put a smile on anyone's face for their birthday!
Add a gift card for ice cream to complete it!
Doesn't get any easier than that!

Apron of Love

Hello & Happy Monday!

Up and at it early this morning because it is a my cleaning day.
Not a fun day by all means but someone's gotta do it!

You know the saying....
"Everyday may not be good but there is something good in everyday!"

And today the sun is shining and that my friends is a wonderful thing!

Oh and I also have a pretty sunshine-y card to share with you!

I have a funny story to tell you about this set.
I purchased this bundle back in January when it became available as I was thinking it would make a great set for Father's Day with the apron and grilling utensils in it. Once my orders arrive I usually unpack them....mount the stickers on the stamps and put them away by seasons, sentiments, birthdays, flowers, masculine etc...

So once April came I went searching for this set to play with and get some idea's for making Father's day cards....I could not find the set...NO WHERE! I searched my craft room for days, looked under cabinets, searched thru boxes even tore apart my storage room. NODDA! I eventually ended up ordering another stamp set since I already had the matching framelits.  It would be a waste to have the framelits without the stamp set, right? To this day I still have not found my original stamp set. I think it may have fallen in the trash can beside my stamp table and got thrown out.
I was sick about it but what can you do.

So, it's a new day and a new stamp set that I finally was able to ink up last week and what a cute card to boot!

Card Details:

Stamps: Apron of Love
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Basic Black Archival, Lemon Lime Twist
Cardstock:  Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist, Silver Foil Paper, Tutti Fruitti DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Apron Builder Framelits, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

So, it may not be a funny story afterall but I have never lost a stamp set in all my years of crafting! I'm not sure we will ever know what happened to it.
I would say that having to buy a 2nd set sure was worth every cent because I really like this bright & summer-y card! Hope you do too!

*************************************************
My thoughts today.....

Wouldn't that be a dream come true! Haha!
Hope that gives you something to giggle about!

I'm off to get my day started.

Beautiful Bouquet

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your all having a great weekend!
Our weather hasn't been the best. It was rainy and chilly all day yesterday.
I even had to turn some heat on to take the chill off. Crazy I know....one day AC next day heat.
The joys of springtime, right?

Today I have a set of cards to share that I made for a customer order last week.
A pack of Anniversary cards but with no hearts.
Beautiful Bouquet to the rescue!

Card Details:

Stamps: Beautiful Bouquet
Ink: Berry Burst, Powder Pink
Cardstock: Powder Pink,Berry Burst, Whisper White, Old Olive
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Bouquet Bunch Framelits, Sweetheart EF, Glittered Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The embossed panel was made with using the (soon to be retired) Sweetheart Embossing Folder. I like it with those pretty flowers and the sentiment is from the same set!
This set is full of great sentiments!

Label Me Pretty

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Today I have another set of cards to share using the Label Me Pretty stamp set.

As I was flipping through the Stampin Up! Occasions catalog I saw a card that caught my eye in the Truly Tailored Suite. It used the Tailored Tag Punch to create a really cool background and I had to try it for myself! I pulled out my pack of Tutti Fruitti DSP and got to work.

Card Details:

Stamps: Label Me Pretty
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Lemon Lime Twist, Whisper White, Tutti Fruitti DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Tailored Tag Punch, Lemon Lime Twist Umbre Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I think the colors work so well together and I really like the outcome!
Hope you like, too!
