Wishing You Well

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

So sorry for the late update today! It was a very busy day!
We have been running around since 8am this morning as I had a haircut. I got 7 inches cut off. I really needed to do it as it was so long and I just could not stand it any longer. A weight has been lifted and it feels so much better! After my hair appointment I grabbed a few things at Walmart then headed home to wash a sink full of dishes and clean the bedrooms. We had a late breakfast then took Ryan for his photo ID in the afternoon. Then Shawn & I ran to the car wash to wash both cars since the sun was shining nicely! After that it was time to get the laundry started and supper! The sun is setting now and it's pajama time! Phew, what a day!

I have a quick card to share that I made just recently for my card rack.
My get well selection has 2 cards left and desperately needs more. I pulled out a goodie from a few years ago called Wishing You Well and got to work...

Wishing You Well was the very first Distinktive stamp set that Stampin Up created a couple of years ago. Since then they've had many and I personally love the them!

Card Details:

Stamps: Wishing You Well
Ink: Crushed Curry, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Basic White, Pool Party
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Stitched Labels Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits, Stylish Shapes Dies, Dragonfly Trinkets, Pool Party Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love pulling out the old stuff and mixing it with new to create something!
I wish the really old stamp sets had dies because fussy cutting just isn't my thing.

Cottage Wreaths

Good Morning & Happy Saturday, Everyone!

I hope your all having a safe & happy July 4th weekend here in the US!

We took Kelsey for some blood work first thing in the morning then decided to go do a little shopping. I got myself a new pocketbook that is much bigger than the one I have now. I may be able to fit the kitchen sink in it! LOL I am not usually one to carry a pocketbook but I am trying to do it more & more when we are out & about. We also hit the Home Goods, Marshall's & TJ Maxx stores. Kelsey found some Halloween Rae Dunn already. Shawn grabbed a Rae Dunn mug that says Grillin & Chillin because he is the grill master! I picked up a few decorations for the house once I take down all my patriotic things. I do have pictures of my July 4th stuff that I will share with you tomorrow.

Anyways, let's get to the next Christmas card to keep us cool while it's so muggy out!
This card uses a new stamp set that can be versatile with holidays or occasions called Cottage Wreaths. It was a set that was on my 1st preorder. I guess I am a sucker for wreaths as I grow older. It is on page 59 of the July-December Mini Catalog and there are a few samples of it throughout the catty as well.

Besides yesterday's Christmas Scottie stamp set, this one is my absolute favorite, too!
I used more of the Sweetest Christmas DSP and kept my wreath & ribbon the same colors as the paper. I stamped a wreath on the inside in the upper right hand corner just for interest.
I see so many people decorate the inside of their cards and I seldom do so I am just as pleased with the inside as I am the outside. The saying I used inside is from a new stamp set that has a variety of sayings in for all occasions called Very Best Occasions. It comes with a punch which I opted out of and just ordered the stamp set.
That saying is so nice for Christmas!

Card Details:

Stamps: Cottage Wreaths, Very Best Occasions
Ink: Garden Green, Real Red
Cardstock: Garden Green, Basic White
Accessories: Seasonal Layers Dies, Country Wreaths Dies, Red Rhinestones, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My thoughts today...

Shawn is on vacation until July 11th.
We have no plans to go away but rather do a few things around the house.
Today he is tinkering with his car and I am going to my stamp table to work on some cards.
I guess you can say that I am hibernating from the heat!

Thanks for stopping by & stay cool!

Wildlife Wonder

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Everyone!

I hope your week is going well!
It's a rainy morning here in south central PA but the sun is suppose to come out later this afternoon!

Today I have a set of masculine cards to share that were made for my card lady's recent order.
I used a new stamp set that is in the 2022 Stampin Up! January - June Mini Catalog called Wildlife Wonder.

Card Details:

Stamps: Wildlife Wonder
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Mint Macaron, Basic White, He's the Man DSP
Accessories: Ornate Layers Dies (retired), Circle Layering Framelits, Rustic Metallic Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My card lady loved the Old Wise Owl as she called him!
I love how it stamps since it is a Distinktive stamp set!
My paper came from the NEW He's the Man Suite.
A great variety of prints & colors that works for any masculine card!
My hubby's birthday is on Monday so I need to get him a card made and I will be using this set for it!

Beauty & Joy Card Set

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I got a call from my card lady with her order for December and I got it all finished in 1 day! I told her i'll get it all delivered to her this week along with the Christmas candy treats!
I'm glad I got that all done and out of the way!

Now I can start sharing some Christmas card sets that I created to sell.
This set uses a retired set called Beauty & Joy.

I remember getting this set in 2019 but not getting much use out of it so I pulled it out and inked it up! I was surprised at how nice it stamps! This is one of those Distinktive stamp sets.

Card Details:

Stamps: Beauty & Joy (retired)
Ink: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Basic White, Wrapped in Plaid DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Circle Layering Framelits, Seasonal Labels Dies, Gold Glittered Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I usually always make several packs of Christmas cards and put in a basket for people to go through to purchase. I let them blank inside unless they want a saying inside then I will stamp it for them. My card lady alone usually gets 8-10 packs!

Welcoming Woods

 Hello & Happy Friday!

I have been looking forward to this day for several months!
I guess your wondering why, right? LOL
Tonight starts the All New Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel!
I love watching those movies not just at Christmas but all year long!

I've got my Hallmark Popcorn Bowl & Slippers ready to go!

So, today I have another set of Fall cards to share that my customer ordered.
These cards were fun to create because this is the first time I inked up the Welcoming Woods stamp set from page 46 of the Stampin Up! Holiday Mini Catalog.

Card Details:

Stamps: Welcoming Woods
Ink: Gray Granite, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Basic White, Cajun Craze DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Crushed Curry Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My leaves, I stamped using the Baby Wipe Technique.
I used Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze & Pumpkin Pie ink refills.

I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome of these cards.
Hope my card lady will like them as much as I did!

Life is Beautiful

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

I hope your having a nice weekend!
It's been busy here and I hope things soon calm down.
Yesterday I had my Stamp Day w Friends get together!
We've not been together since before Memorial Day.  We all had things on our plates and couldn't squeeze in a date until yesterday. I was so happy to see them and catch up on life! Those girls are my closest & best friends...it's a shame we all don't drink wine or coffee! LOL Anyways, we finally got the chance to make all those summertime card kits that I had made up back before summer even arrived.
Next month (September) we will work on all occasion cards then move on to Fall/Halloween. YAY!

I wanted to update yesterday after the girls left but Shawn had me running to Home Depot for a few things and by the time we got back it was time to start supper then football started at 6. My day was shot!
Today I am sharing card #1 from our stamp day....a quick & easy one!

This one uses a retired stamp set from last year's 2020 Holiday Mini catalog called Life is Beautiful! It was one of my favorite sets! I kept this simple for the girls and flat for easy mailing.

Card Details:

Stamps: Life is Beautiful (Million Dollar Achiever Set)
Ink: Early Espresso, Just Jade
Cardstock: Just Jade, Basic White, Just Jade DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack, Glue Dot, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Tomorrow I will share card #2.
I sure hope life calms down so I can concentrate on being more creative at my stamp table.
We have 1 more home improvement job on the horizon and I hope that soon gets done....I miss my stamp table!

With Sympathy Gatefold Card

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

Saturday into Sunday we finally got some nice rain! It also got cooler & less humid out which i'm thrilled about. I think we are in for a nice week ahead that I can turn off the ac and let the windows open! YAY!!!

Today I am sharing card #2 from my Stamp Day w Friends get together!

Take a look...

This is such a fun fold and very easy to create!
I've been trying to make more cards with fun folds for a change.
This card uses a variety of things which I will list below in the card details.

Card Details:

Stamps: Framed For You, Here's A Card (inside)
Ink: Granny Apple Green, Shaded Spruce, Bumble Bee
Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Bumble Bee, Whisper White, Forever Greenry DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Wrapped in Texture EF, Bumble Bee Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dot, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The stamp set I used on this is called Framed for You.
It is a million dollar achiever set created by Terri Gaines.
I love the sentiments included as well as the different images!
It is also a Distinktive set.
The embossing folder I used on the larger circle layer is from the August-December catalog.
It comes from the Heartwarming Hugs Suite on pages 8-10.

Granted I had everything cut & embossed but this card came together very quickly!
All the girls had to do was the stamping and assembling!
This was my favorite card!

Life is Beautiful

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Hope your week is going well!
It's been hot here but this morning it is a bit on the cool side with clouds and a breeze.
I opened my kitchen windows for now but it is still muggy.
The older I get the more I mind the ac as it drives my sinuses crazy.

Today I have a card to share that uses a new set called Life is Beautiful.
It is a Million Dollar Achiever set created by LeeAnn Greff.

This set caught my eye as soon as I seen it in the August - December Catalog!
I paired it up with some Old Olive retired gingham print paper.
I stamped my little birdhouse a bit crooked...must have been one of those days!
The stamp set comes with a few sentiments and I especially loved the font!

Card Details:

Stamps: Life is Beautiful
Ink: Old Olive, Soft Suede, Gray Granite
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Soft Suede, Old Olive, Old Olive DSP (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Embroidered Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The beauty of this set is that you can use it for every season of the year and that is something that I like in a stamp set!
Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall this set has it all!

Tulips Side Step Card

Hello & Happy Thursday!

My hubby went back to work today even though he still has not passed that stone.
He's not had any pain the last 2 days and felt good enough to go back.
I honestly think he was getting bored being home!

It's to be a cloudy day with rain coming this evening.
Not sure what is on my agenda.
I may start painting my kitchen or I may go do some craft therapy which I am in major need of!
I stamped yesterday afternoon but it wasn't long enough! LOL

Today I have a pretty cool card to share.
This one is made using a bought package of cardstock that was already cut & scored.
All I had to do was decorate it.
These are called Side Step Cards.
Ever hear of them?

On the last picture you can see the steps which I covered with the SaleABration Coordinate paper called Pleased As Punch.
It is quite pretty in these spring colors that just make you smile!
I also used a new stamp set w coordinating punch called Timeless Tulips.
It makes the nicest tulips, ever!
I love tulips but daffodils are probably my favorite spring flower.

Card Details:

Stamps: Timeless Tulips, Easter's Promise
Ink: Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink, Highland Heather
Cardstock: Side Step Template Cardstock, Whisper White, Highland Heather, Pleased As Punch DSP (SAB Coordinates)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Tulip Builder Punch, Daffodil Delight Enamel Dot, Purple Gingham Ribbon, Glue Dot, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was very pleased with how this turned out!
Did I mention that this stamp set is a Distinktive set?!
I love those stamps!
