Ghostly Fun Fold Card

Hello & HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

It's finally here!
It's a very rainy yukky day and i'm not sure what to expect for Trick or Treat tonight!
As of now it is still planned here in Red Lion tonight from 6-8 pm.
I am planning on giving treats out unless it ends up raining heavy.

Today since it is finally BOO Day, I have a BOO Day card to share that I made yesterday.
Have you ever heard of a Bridge Fold?

I have but never tried to make one until now!
So fun and what a cool look!

I pulled out my pack of Toil & Trouble DSP from last year and used this adorable ghost paper.
I never purchased the matching stamp set & dies so I used my Sizzix Ghost Die that I got last year.
I love this die! I think my ghost completes my card nicely!

Card Details:

Stamps: The Raven (inside sentiment), Wonderfully Wicked
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Basic Black, Highland Heather, Toil & Trouble DSP (retired)
Accessories: Sizzix Ghost Die, Circle Layering Framelits, Black Rhinestone, Gorgeous Grape Stripped Ribbon, Glue Dot, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I am going to have to remember this fun fold card for the future!
Very different & fun!

Here is a link to a tutorial that I used to make mine....

Fun Fold Halloween Card

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Yesterday was quite the dreary, cloudy day!
It looked like the sky just wanted to let loose but it didn't rain.
Today is to be much of the same...

I have one last Halloween card to share today that has already been signed and mailed out to it's destination!

This reminds me of a post card with a flap on the front that flips up to see the inside message.
My card uses the Spooktacular Bash Bundle and the bat inside is from the Wonderfully Wicked set.
Down in the lefthand side is a Monster Bash Enamel Shape that has a spider web on it. I added it to go with the spider web paper. They are flat for easy mailing, too!

Card Details:

Stamps: Spooktacular Bash, Wonderfully Wicked
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Monster Bash DSP
Accessories: Ornate Frames Dies, Basic Black/Basic Gray Halloween Night Twine (retired), Monster Bash Enamel Shapes, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Even though I wasn't too thrilled with this year's DSP, I am happy with this card!
I love the fun folds and the DSP worked well with this one!
Hope you like!

Halloween Window Boxes

Hello & Happy Tuesday!
2 days till Halloween!

A few weeks ago I was digging through a drawer that I keep boxes & bags in.
I found 3 packs of these retired Kraft Window Boxes that Stampin Up carried a few years ago.
I pulled out 4 and decorated them for Halloween.

I made these for my gang and filled them with the Orange Kit Kats.

Project Details:

Stamps: The Little Things (retired)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Whisper White, Halloween Night DSP (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Seasonal Tags Framelits (retired), Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm not sure what those little spiders are from but I found them in a bag that I keep leftover Halloween diecuts in. I thought they were the perfect fit for my spookylicious spider web!

My Ghoul Friend

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a nice weekend!
Yesterday our rain was over by lunchtime and the sun came out shining brightly!
It even got into the 70's!
Shawn went to work for a few hours and so I did some cleaning.

I have another Halloween card to show today that uses last year's Toil & Trouble DSP.
I still have 2 full sheets and some scraps left.

I used the sentiment from the Spooktacular Bash set and those beautiful Ornate Frames Dies.
The colors in this DSP is more my speed for Halloween and the prints are cute!
I added a Granny Apple Green Glittered Enamel Dot to the sentiment panel and a pretty bow from the Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon!

Card Details:

Stamps: Spooktacular Bash
Ink: Gorgeous Grape
Cardstock: Gorgeous Grape, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Toil & Trouble DSP
Accessories: Ornate Frames Dies, Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon, Granny Apple Green Glittered Enamel Dot, Glue Dot, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Have you mailed out your Halloween cards yet?
Mine all went out in the mail last week!
3 days till BOO Day!

Spooktacular Bash

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

It's an ugly morning here!
It is raining buckets & buckets!
It's suppose to be out of here by early afternoon and the sun is to shine later. We'll see!

I have another Halloween card to show you that I made using the Spooktacular Bash set.
I was not a fan of the DSP this year but have been trying to use it here & there.

This is the same fun fold card I have been using.
The cardstock measures 4 1/4 x 11.
Scored at 2 and 7 1/2.
It reminds me of a Gatefold card.

The image on the front was diecut from the Monster Bash DSP and I layered it on Circle Layering diecuts. My stamped sentiment comes from the Spooktacular Bash and is diecut with the Ornate Frames Dies. Those dies alone are so pretty and cut nicely!

Card Details:

Stamps: Spooktacular Bash
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Monster Bash DSP
Accessories: Ornate Frames Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Cute card and not scary at all.
I was happy with how it turned out but sad that I have almost an entire pack of this DSP left.
I will have to figure out how to use it other than for Halloween.

My thoughts today...

Guess it might be a crafting day for me afterall.
Hubby just got called into work.
It's raining like crazy in Delaware where he works and the plant lost power.
Not a good thing!

Thanks for stopping by & stay dry!!

Coffin Boxes For Halloween

Hello & Happy Saturday!

It's a beautiful sunny morning here in south central PA but it's not going to stay sunny for long as rain is making it's way into our area later today!
My hubby has a list of outside work to get finished up before the rain gets here.
He needs to get the mowers put away as well as my rocking chairs off the front porch.
I will be straightening up the storage room and making room for the rocking chairs then we are going to relax and watch some movies later this evening. Hope we can find some good Halloween movies!

So, before my day gets busy I wanted to show you another cool Halloween treat!
This year Stampin Up offered these really cool coffin boxes!
They come 12 to a pack and all you need to do is fold them on the creases and glue.
I took some Silver Encore ink and sponged it on the outside of the boxes and left to sit to dry a day or two before I decorated the them.

These hold a good bit of candy!
I put a Kit Kat, a Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkin and a handful of Hershey Kisses in them.
I gave them to my stamp girls at my World Cardmaking Day and they loved them!

Project Details:

Stamps: Spooktacular Bash
Ink: Memento Black, Silver Encore Pad, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Silver Foil Paper
Accessories: Coffin Boxes, Ornate Frames Dies, Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon, Sponge, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These are so cool and what a fun way to present some yummy treats for Halloween!

BOO Card for Kelsey

Hello & Happy Friday!

Yesterday was such a beautiful day!
I got all my outside flowers cut down and flower pots put away for the year.
Hate seeing my back porch looking so bare but it's getting to be that time of the year.
Our days & nights are getting colder and the growing season is over.
Sad but true...

Anyways, today I have another Halloween card to share that I made for Kelsey.
I pulled out my entire box of Halloween stamps and looked thru them.
I picked an old set called Howl-O-Ween Treat that was out in 2015.

I made this into a gift card/cash holder which I will slip a few bucks in for her.
I think she will love that skull and bones on the front!
I added a bow to it for a girl.

Card Details:

Stamps: Howl-O-Ween Treats (retired), Spooky Bingo Bits (retired), Wonderfully Wicked (inside)
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie. Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Witches Brew DSP (retired)
Accessories: Boo to You Framelits (retired), Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Circle Punch, Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon, Monster Bash Enamel Dots, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My cardstock is 4 1/4 x 11.
Scored at 2 and 5 1/2.
The 2 inch is what makes the pocket on the inside.
It's a neat little gift card holder!
I already made a few for Christmas!

The Raven

Hello & Happy Thursday!

One week until Halloween and Trick or Treat Night!
The countdown is on!

It's to be a beautiful day here and the temps are to get into the 70's!
Maybe I can open the windows for a little!

Yesterday, I was at my stamp table much of the afternoon making some Halloween cards.
My card uses a new set called The Raven from the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog.

My cardstock colors are Basic Black, Gray Granite & Whisper White but I should have used Basic Gray to go with the small piece of Monster Bash DSP that I used.
I sponged all the edges with Memento Black ink to give it a scary look.
I may redo this and send to my niece.
She loves the Baltimore Ravens (like us!!) and also loves Halloween!

Card Details:

Stamps: The Raven
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Basic Black, Gray Granite, Whisper White, Monster Bash DSP
Accessories: Stylish Scroll EF, Circle Layering Framelits, Banner Punch (retired), Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon, Glue Dot, Monster Bash Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm pretty happy with this and it was fun playing with this new set!
Hope you like it, too!

Birthday Wishes

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Yesterday had to be one of the most dreariest, rainy days ever!
My back was hurting from over doing it on Monday and I did not sleep good the night before....
I just wanted to get comfy and sleep the day away!
Instead I made myself get ready for the day and went down to my stamp room.
I worked on some Thanksgiving cards for my card lady and called it a day.
My Sciatica is killing me and my only relief is sitting in my recliner...

Today I am sharing another birthday card that I worked on last week.
Terracotta Tile has become my favorite In Color!

I love this color because it's much softer than Cajun Craze!
The stamp set is A Wish For Everything from the Annual Catalog.
I loveeee the font in this set!
My leaves are from the Gather Together stamp set & Gathered Leaves Dies.
Beautiful bundle and one that I have loved using!

Card Details:

Stamps: A Wish For Everything, Gather Together
Ink: Terracotta Tile
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Terracotta Tile, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Terracotta Tile DSP
Accessories: Gathered Leaves Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Terracotta Tile Scalloped Linen Ribbon, Terracotta Tile Faceted Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Glad i'm getting these cards made up ahead of time!

Delightful Dozen

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Another rainy day here in south central PA.
I am heading down to my stamp table to work on some Thanksgiving cards.
My customer usually orders a couple packs so I want to get a jump start on them.

Today I have my Halloween M&M Sticks to share.

I was thrilled to find the Halloween colored M&M's and could not wait to fancy them up!
My tag uses a retired sentiment from the Delightful Dozen stamp set.
I used my Gorgeous Grape & Pumpkin Pie Stampin Write Markers to color my stamp.
I tied my bags shut with Basic Black twine.
Easy peasy!

Project Details:

Stamps: Delightful Dozen (retired)
Ink: Gorgeous Grape & Pumpkin Pie Stampin Write Markers
Cardstock: Whisper White
Accessories: Banner Punch (retired), Basic Black Twine (retired), 1x8 Cello Bags

I made 40 of these and loved every minute of it!

Seasonal Happy Birthday

Hello & Happy Monday!

What a weekend!
Yesterday was just a yukky rainy day!
Did not get much relaxing done as Kelsey came over for the day.

Today I have a really pretty Fall birthday card to show.
I said last week that I have a bunch of birthday's coming up in the next few weeks that I wanted to get made and out of the way before the craziness of the holidays come.
This is another one I made...

To start off, I was inspired by a card my friend, Vicki Burdick, made.
She embossed her leaves with Winter White Embossing Powder then watercolored her leaves.
I am not much of a watercolor girl so I took a piece of Whisper White and used Sponge Daubers to put down Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Terracotta Tile inks to get a colorful panel. Then I embossed my leaves with Winter White Embossing Powder and die cut my leaves out. I got 3 leaves from a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of Whisper White cardstock.
I used some Terracotta Tile DSP and a piece of the matching ribbon.
I also used some Braided Trim to tie a bow. I took the bone folder over the tails of my bow and they curled! I loved the look!

Card Details:

Stamps: Perennial Birthday, Gather Together
Ink: Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Terracotta Tile, Versamark
Cardstock: Terracotta Tile, Whisper White, Terracotta Tile DSP
Accessories: Gathered Leaves Dies, Stitched Nested Dies, Winter White Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Sponges, Terracotta Tile Scalloped Linen Ribbon, Braided Trim, White Pearls, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I also added some White Pearls on 2 of the corners for interest.
I always reach for the rhinestones and forget I have pearls.
Honestly, the pearls look more elegant on this than rhinestones and i'm happy with it!

Jack o' Lantern Chocolates

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your weekend is going well.
Yesterday was a nice day and a much needed day out for Shawn & I.
We found 3 ceramic Christmas trees ( 2 little & 1 medium sized) that we added to our collection!
That will most likely be it for awhile. Now to figure out how to display all of them!

This morning we need to make a quick trip out to grab some groceries then back home to watch football. I look forward to Sundays and football!
It's also a dreary, rainy day...

I've got a quick Halloween treat to share today!
I actually forgot to take pictures of them in my lightbox before I sent them to my card lady.
These pictures I snapped with my phone to show Kelsey.

I used some 2 x 8 sized cello bags that I had left.
Stampin Up no longer carries them.
My tray inside the bag is 2 x 4 1/2.
On the long sides it is scored at 1/4 on both sides.
My cute little pumpkin from the Harvest Hello's set is stamped on Pumpkin Pie cardstock and punched out with the Apple Builder Punch.
I attached my jack o lantern with Dimensionals and added a Pumpkin Pie/Black bow made from the retired Halloween Night Twine with a Glue Dot.

Project Details:

Stamps: Harvest Hello
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Memento Black, Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede, Halloween Night DSP (retired)
Accessories: Apple Builder Punch, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This is one stamp set & punch that I really liked this year!
Wish I could find a way to use it for Christmas!
