Congratulations On Your Engagement

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I have a quick card to share that I made for a card order.
My customer needed an engagement card and this is what I made for her.
My photo's aren't the best. The colors are Pink Pirouette and Whisper White.

Engagement Card:

Stamps: Hearts A Flutter, Love & Laughter
Ink: Basic Black Archival, Pink Pirouette
Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Pink Pirouette 12 x 12 Stack (retired)
Accessories: Hearts A Flutter Framelits, Stitched Framelits, Stitched Rectangle Dies-Lil Inkers, Pink Pirouette Ribbon (retired), Small White Pearls, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose

I used Stampin Up's new Stitched Dies for the sentiment panel. They cut so nicely!

A Christmas Thank You

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Now that all the holiday hoopla is over and things are calming down it's time to think about getting the Thank You cards made & sent. This one is simple and quick to whip up!

I had this Stampendous stamp in my collection quite a few years so i'm not sure if it's still available.
I stamped it in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers. Then I layered it on top of a Martha Stewart Doily that was in my stash. I don't think they are available anymore but I could be wrong. Really though, any doily would work!
My Real Red panel is cut to fit on my Thick Whisper White cardbase. I used an embossing folder from The Paper Studio with Holly Leaves & Berries on it to emboss it. I adhered it to my cardbase then added my sentiment panel with a dimensional to finish it up!
Sometimes less is more and i'm starting to like that concept!

Christmas Thank You Card:

Stamps: Stampendous
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White (cardbase), Real Red, Whisper White, MS Doily
Accessories: Circle Punch, The Paper Studio Embossing Folder, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Have any of you put your Christmas decorations away yet?

Monday we worked most of the day to get it all taken down & put away. I use to let it up until after the New Year but the last few years it has come down the day after Christmas.
I love Christmas but now i'm ready for life to get back to normal.

It sure is dark in the evenings now with no Christmas lights!

Yep, burnt out!

Coffee Gift Card Holders

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I made a bunch of gift card/money holders for the craft show.
These are for some serious coffee lovers!

Coffee Gift Card Holders:

Stamps: Perfect Blend, Gift for You
Ink: Island Indigo, Garden Green
Cardstock: Island Indigo, Garden Green, Whisper White, Pool Party, Cherry Cobbler, This Christmas DSP, Winter's Frost DSP
Accessories: Circle Punch, Decorative Dots EF, Gold & Silver Metallic Doilies, Label Bracket Punch, Gold & Silver Cord, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I never made a Coffee Gift Card Holder before but these turned out to be a great seller!
Must be alot of coffee drinkers out there!

Directions for the Gift Card Holders:

Cardstock 5 1/2 x 8 1/2
on 8 1/2 side score at 2 and 6.
Fold on scored lines.
The end with the 2 inch score gets adhered on the sides to create a pocket. I use Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue or 2 Sided Tape. This is where you place the gift card or money.
The end where it is 2 1/2 inch fold...this should fold down to cover the top of the 2 inch pocket. This is the end that gets decorated.

I got these measurements many years ago from a challenge on Splitcoaststampers.
Here is the template I use except it says to use brads on the ends that get adhered....I don't use them....I just use a good adhesive.

Have fun!

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
Mine was really nice this year and Santa was especially good to all of us!

My project today is a card I made with the Wonderous Wreath stamp set but instead of a Christmas card, I used it for a birthday card.

Happy Birthday Wreath Card:

Stamps: Wonderous Wreath, Rose Wonder (sentiment)
Ink: Garden Green, Real Red
Cardstock: Whisper White Thick, Garden Green, Whisper White
Accessories: Wonderful Wreath Framelits, Red Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipupose Liquid Glue

I went with colors of the holiday season for this birthday card.
I love it!

I'm not sure I had a favorite because I love them all and i'm happy that they all went to new homes for Christmas too!

Today our Baltimore Ravens are playing football against the Pittsburgh Steelers so we are going to have our Christmas dinner early. Hopefully we can get a quick walk in before dinner.
My hubby got me a new bike for Christmas!!! I just love it as it matches my sneakers! Haha!
I can't wait for spring weather now to go out and ride it! How many days till spring??!!

I hope Santa was good to all of you, too!

Christmas Notebooks Part 3

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Today is Christmas Eve!
I'm ready for the hoopla to be over although I do love the Christmas spirit!
I made a pan of lasanga for our Christmas Eve supper and i'm looking forward to a low key evening with Shawn, the 2 kids and of course my puppies!

Today I have the last of my Christmas Notebooks to share.
I made alot of them this year as my plan was to empty out my drawers, get them decorated and sold. The plan was successful as only 1 notebook came home with me.
Here are the last 4....

This one uses the Snow Place Bundle and Winter's Frost Specialty DSP.

This one uses the Cookie Cutter Christmas Bundle and the Candy Cane Lane DSP.

This one uses paper that came from AC Moore. Not sure of the maker. My penguin is from Whipper Snapper.

This last one uses the Santa's Sleigh Bundle and Pinecones & Presents DSP.

I did not get much use out of the Santa's Sleigh bundle this season but I hope to next year!
I love the tree & the reindeer and the idea's I have seen for the sleigh are awesome!

I'll see you tomorrow!

Christmas Notebooks Part 2

Hello & Happy Friday!

2 days till Christmas!

Today I have more of my covered notebooks to show.
I used a variety of stamps, papers, ribbon & embellishments on these.
Too many too list!

These have always been a terrific seller at my craft shows over the years.
Depending on size and the price I paid for them, I usually sell them from $3 on up and they all come with a Pentel RSVP Pen which has the barrel that I slip a piece of matching dsp in.

Lately though, I have had a hard time finding the spiral bound notebooks and this is probably one of my most asked for items for Christmas.

My thoughts today....

Has anyone ever watched Disney's A Christmas Carol movie?
I thought it was such a great movie!
It really shows the meaning of Christmas.

That is all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!
