Moon Baby Card

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your having a nice weekend!
Yesterday was much better than Friday, weather wise.
We had clouds most of the day and it stayed dry.
Today is to be another washout. I plan to get to my stamp table and do some stamping.
On Friday Shawn said he was having kidney stone pain.
If you know his story you know he's had them for the last 30 years. He's laid around mostly all weekend which is NOT good for passing those stones and trying to get him to drink water is like pulling teeth. Speaking of his tooth being pulled....it is healing nicely. Now we moved on to kidney stones. *sigh*  You just can't make this stuff up!

I have a baby card to share today that I made with Audrey's last card order...

Audrey just loves the baby images in the Moon Baby stamp set so she request a baby girl card to give to a family friend.

Card Details:

Stamps: Moon Baby (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Petal Pink, Stampin Blends-Petal Pink, Ivory, So Saffron
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Basic White, So Saffron, Country Gingham DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Tasteful Texture 3D EF (retired), Petal Pink Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Moon Baby always delivers a really cute card and it's a set that I will keep using!

Awash In Beauty

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Yesterday was plain and simple a washout!
It rained all day and not just a normal rain, it was blowing sideways kind of rain! We did a run to Sam's Club and it was just horrible out.

Shawn is doing pretty good and his pain is starting to slack off. We are eating soft foods atleast until he heals and until I see the dentist on Wednesday to determine the next step for my broken crown. We really do have our dental issues, don't we?!

Since we are in for a rainy weekend I decided I am going to get inky and get started on Audrey's card order.
Today I have a set of birthday cards to share that I made a few weeks ago using the Awash In Beauty Suite from the current Stampin Up! Annual Catalog.

The DSP does all the work so there really isn't much more to do other than add a sentiment.

Card Details:

Stamps: Amazing Year, True Beauty
Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Polished Pink, Granny Apple Green
Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Basic White, Awash In Beauty DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Organic Beauty Dies, Brushed Brass Butterflies, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Sadly, this whole suite is retiring on Monday, May 1st.
The DSP in this suite is filled with lots of flowers which will make some pretty cards!
I can't wait to use more of it eventually!

Covered In Sunshine

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

All went well with Shawn's appointment yesterday. He is home resting and having some pain. Once I got him settled I was back in the bedroom putting laundry away, munching on a piece of turkey lunchmeat and I heard a crack. Spit out my turkey and there was half of a tooth. Yep...the next crown on my list to be replaced broke in half. *sigh*  Ya just can't make this stuff up! In a panic I called the dentist and as luck would have it....the dentist is on vacation and won't be back in the office until Wednesday next week. I have an appt for that afternoon so in the meantime I am going to be babying the heck out of this tooth until then!

Today I have another card to share with you that I made a few weeks ago.
This card uses a stamp set from the 2023 January-April Mini Catalog called Covered In Sunshine.

Card Details:

Stamps: Covered In Sunshine
Ink: Calypso Coral
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Mossy Meadow, Basic White, Favored Flowers DSP (SAB 23)
Accessories: Beautiful Shapes Dies, Petal Pink/Champagne Ribbon (retired), Champagne Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This is the first time that I have used the Beautiful Shapes Dies that I have had for quite awhile. They will be retiring soon which is so sad. I need to make it a point to use them more in the future.

Special Person HB

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

We are heading out to the Oral Surgeons around 11:30 today for Shawn's appointment. He's had this done before so i'm hoping this will go just as smoothly as it did the first time.
I have a quick card to share with you today that uses a stamp from the Framed Florets set. It also uses DSP from the 2023 SaleABRation offering earlier this year.

Card Details:

Stamps: Framed Florets
Ink: Calypso Coral
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Favored Flowers DSP (SAB 23)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Dies, Petal Pink/Champagne Ribbon (retired), Champagne Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This one went on my card rack for sale since my birthday cards are running low.

Two Tone Flora

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday was such a crazy busy day!
My dentist appt went well and then I went home and did some cleaning. I did not get it all finished since Shawn had an appt to see the dentist at 3. We were there for an hour. Turns out when he bit down on that pretzel last week it cracked the tooth that has a crown on. Thursday he will be going to an Oral Surgeon to have it extracted. *sigh*

So, today I have a card to share that I made last week. I am always in need for Thank You cards so I pulled out some Fancy Flora DSP and got to work using the Two Toned Flora Bundle.

Card Details:

Stamps: Two Tone Flora, Perched In A Tree (sentiment)
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Soft Seafoam, Soft Succulent
Cardstock: Soft Succulent, Soft Seafoam, Basic White, Fancy Flora DSP
Accessories: Something Fancy Dies, Two Tone Flora Dies, Timber 3D EF, Elegant Gems, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I pulled the colors from the DSP and used the Timber 3D EF on the Soft Seafoam panel to give my card some texture. So pleased with how it turned out!

Well, I need to get my cleaning finished up this morning then grab a shower since I have my 6 month doctor appt tonight. Ughhh, i'm ready for this week to be over already!

Playing In The Rain Stamp A Stack Pt 2 **Updated**

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!

Quick post this morning as I have a dentist appointment first thing.
Today I get my new crown on a tooth that had a crown on but it had a big chip on it and wouldn't it figure, it was the side that you see when you smile. It's been a long time coming and I am thrilled to be able to finally smile again without that eye sore.

ETA: All went well at the dentist and my new crown fits perfectly! I love that I can now smile without that broke crown showing! Later today it is Shawn's turn to see the dentist. He has had pain all weekend. Advil took the edge off but did not take the pain away. I am praying the dentist can help him today!

The 2 cards I am sharing today are from the Rain Or Shine bundle in the current mini catalog. I participated in the Stamp A Stack over at Kitchen Table Stamper. I am always inspired by her cards & projects!

Sympathy Card

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

We had a beautiful day yesterday with nice sunshine and warm temps.
I sat outback with Bailee and soaked up some sun then went to my stamp table for a bit. I had a few projects that I wanted to finish up which I still have 2 waiting on me. Shawn ended up coming home early from work and going to the dentist. He bit down on a hard pretzel on Sunday and ever since his teeth hurt. Today I guess he had enough and called to be seen. Unfortunately, the dentist was not in but his assistants looked at him and took some xrays. He will see the dentist on Monday afternoon and until then continue taking Tylenol and if it gets worse they have a dentist on call all weekend. It must have been bothersome that he called because he is not thrilled on going to the dentist. So that put a clanker in my afternoon & evening. We were to get the bikes out for a ride since the weather was so nice but he was not up for it. We'll try another day!

Today I am sharing another card from my recent Stamp Day w/ Friends get together.
The girls always like to have sympathy cards on hand so I always try to have a kit ready.
This is what we made...

Card Details:

Stamps: Touch My Heart (Hostess retired)
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Seaside Spray, Basic White, Paper Blooms DSP (retired SAB 21)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Pierced Blooms Dies (retired), Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm glad we finally used this card kit because it's been in my bin ready & waiting for quite awhile! This one was quick & easy!

Petal Prints Anniversary

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I have a pretty card to share that we made at my recent Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. I pulled out an old stamp set from 2006 called Petal Prints and it's wood mounted. It's a beautiful floral set that hasn't seen ink in quite a few years! I paired this stamp set with some Dandy Designs DSP from SaleABRation.

You know how much I like to mix the old with the new and this card turned out so pretty in these colors! It has a summertime feel to it, too!

Card Details:

Stamps: Petal Prints (retired), Love For You
Ink: Balmy Blue, Coastal Cabana
Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Coastal Cabana, Basic White, Dandy Designs DSP (SAB 23)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Scalloped Contour Dies, Stitched Rectangle Dies, White Crinkle Ribbon, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Speedy Recovery

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Waking up to a beautiful morning here in Pennsylvania but a bit on the cold side.
I guess that is why I ended up turning the heat back on. 60's later today and mid 80's the next 2 days....crazy isn't it?
Today is the last episode of season 3 of The Mandalorian on Disney+ which Shawn & I have been watching each week. It's all related to Star Wars which I have never been a fan of nor understood but I do like watching this show for some reason. Anyone else watch this?
Yesterday I got to my stamp table and was there until late afternoon getting my projects crossed off my list. I made a big pan of lasagna for last night's supper and most likely will freeze the other half for another day. It was so good! First I made it in a long while.
Today I have more things on my list to cross off at my stamp table but before I get there I wanted to share the 2nd card from my recent Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. This was a request from Deb for some Get Well cards. I'm always happy to create them when they ask!

Card Details:

Stamps: Speedy Recovery
Ink: Garden Green, Crushed Curry
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Basic White, Tea Boutique DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Teacup Dies, Timeworn Type 3D EF, Glossy Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I started with the Tea Boutique DSP and this lemon print. I had scraps in my pack that I decided to use up which compliments my tea cup perfectly! The girls loved this one, too! It was quick & easy to put together. The inside says "Feel Better, Friend".
