2015 Calendars

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Just a quick post today as we are heading out to drop Gigi & Bailee off at doggy spa day! With all this cold snowy weather in the last few weeks, they are stinky and in need of a spa day! After that I am headed to Michael's, Sam's and the grocery store. I hate the thought of going outside in this very cold & windy weather! Oh the joys of winter!

Anyways, before I head out I wanted to share the next few months of calendars then tomorrow I will share the rest.

Here we go!

My Mom just loves these! She's always talking about what she likes about each month! LOL
I display my calendars in a 4 X 6 plastic acrylic picture frame like you use for the post it note holders.

Well, that's all I have for you today!
Tomorrow will be the rest, I promise!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
Happy Stamping!

My 2015 Calendars

Hello & Happy Friday!

Yesterday I took the day off from blogging to work on 2 card orders. I had a total of 50 cards to make and my hands are feeling it!

While I was downstairs I had a chance to finally take pictures of my 2015 Calendar! I'm so pleased with them! I display my calendars in a clear plastic acrylic picture frame that I picked up at Christmas Tree Shoppe. I have seen them at Walmart & Dollar Tree as well.

I'm going to start you off with the first 3 months of the year.

Very fun & very time consuming making 5 full sets! The recipients made it worth while in the end!

That's all I have for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Merry Monday Challenge #143

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I spent a nice quiet weekend with my hubby and managed to finish up my calendars on Saturday night. They were alot of work but i'm pleased with them. I will share them once I get to take pictures.

Anyways, today over at Merry Monday we have a new challenge for you!
Lori is our hostess this week and she is looking for Christmas Carolers on your card. I was amazed at the idea's that the ladies on the design team came up with! They are a bunch of fabulously talented ladies, for sure!

When I first saw this challenge I had a few idea's in my head to do but when it came down to it I reached for this adorable stamp set from Rubberneck Stamps. I have had this stamp set for atleast 5 years and it's never seen ink till Lori's challenge came to life! Thank you, Lori! I will most definitely use it more often!

I decided to just stamp my images in one single color. I wasn't in the mood for coloring. One of my favorite colors is Island Indigo so I went with that. Hope you like!

Merry Monday Challenge #143 Card:

Stamps: Rubberneck Stamps
Ink: Island Indigo
Cardstock: Island Indigo, Whisper White
Accessories: Rhinestones, Stamp A Ma Jig, 2 Sided Tape

Hope you can stop by the Merry Monday blog to see the DT's cards! Such inspiration!

Well, that's all for today!
Calling for snow here today! Not quite sure on how much, every news channel tells you something different. Doesn't matter to me....I'll be getting my housework done then heading downstairs to get crafty a bit although I love to sit and watch the snow fall! It's so pretty!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
Happy stamping, friends!

Another Masculine Card

Hello & Happy Friday!

Today I was in the mood for another masculine card. I love making them! This one will go on my card rack for sale once I add an envelope with it. Masculine cards don't stay on the rack very long!

The stamp on this card is from Stampscapes. They are known for making very nice landscape scene types of stamps. This is the only one I own but I find that I do use it quite often. I love that it can be stamped in black and colored or just stamped in one color and left as is. I added a button & Linen Thread to my card so this card will definitely have to be hand delivered! I could however take the button off and use the Sweet Buttons Embosslit to make a paper button that would not be bulky for mailing. Hummm, that is an option too! Other than that button, my card is very mail friendly!

Masculine Card:

Stamps: Stampscapes, Stampin Up! Happy Birthday
Ink: Soft Suede
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Woodgrain EF, Stamp A Ma Jig, Button, Linen Thread, Glue Dot, 2 Sided Tape

That's all I have for today!
Heading downstairs today to work on those calendars for my family! I will be happy when they are done and I can move on to some other fun projects! I will be sure to share them here once they are done.

Thanks for popping in today & enjoy your day!
Happy Stamping!

Happy Birthday, Greg!

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Just a quick update then heading off to bed.
I made a card yesterday for my big brother Greg as today is his birthday!
Yep, i'm late getting it out to him but I did talk to him today and wished him a Happy Birthday! I don't see him very often, usually just at holidays but this year with his wife's mother passing away, we did not see them. I still have Christmas gifts here for them! Hopefully, this weekend I can get them dropped off to them......if we don't get tooooo much snow! Today was a snow day here in PA. Kelsey had the day off so we sat and watched it snow all afternoon. It sure is pretty at first but really I can do without it. We whipped up a batch of sausage potato soup and a pan of brownies to pass the time away. It was nice spending some quality time with her and Gigi & Bailee!

Anyways, here's the card I made for Greg.

Greg's Birthday Card:

Stamps: Classic Pickups
Ink: Soft Suede
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, Elegant Soiree DSP
Accessories: Decorative Dots EF, Soft Suede Ribbon, Scallop & Lg Oval Punches, Chalk Talk Framelits, Tombow Multi Liquid Mono

Sympathy Cards

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
The weather here in south central PA is cloudy & a bit rainy. A chance for some freezing rain but I think the temperatures are finally rising above freezing. Nonetheless, it's still dreary & almost dark out today! Guess i'll be heading down to craft a bit this afternoon! WooHoo!

Before I leave, I wanted to share a few sympathy cards I have made in the last week or so. So much sadness to start off the beginning of the New Near. I just sent 2 cards out this past week and 2 the week before.

This first card I cased from Kay Kalthoff. So simple and beautiful I will probably make another one with this layout but in different colors.

This card I made with a different fold. I love the Z Fold type of card. I pulled the colors for this from the DSP. I think it's very pretty & quite uplifting!

My next card I used the Color Challenge colors from a week or 2 ago. I felt they were more suited to be a Sympathy card possibly for a man.

Color Challenge 511

The colors are:
Old Olive, Very Vanilla & Crumb Cake

Sympathy Card #1:

Stamps: Thoughts & Prayers, Praying Hands are PSX
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla
Accessories: SU Embossing Folder, Early Espresso 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Circle Punch, Stamp A Ma Jig, Glue Dot, 2 Sided Tape

Sympathy Card #2:

Stamps: Love & Sympathy, Thoughts & Prayers (sentiment inside), Papillion Potpourri
Ink: Old Olive & Blackberry Bliss SU Markers
Cardstock: Hello Honey, Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White, Moonlight DSP
Accessories: Label Collection Framelits, Hello Honey Ribbon, Sm. Butterfly Punch, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, 2 Sided Tape

Sympathy Card #3:

Stamps: Crosses of Hope, Sentiment from The Rubber Stampede
Ink: Crumb Cake, Old Olive
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Crumb Cake
Accessories: Stripes E.F., Old Olive 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Rhinestone, 2 Sided Tape

I hope all the cards I have sent brings some comfort & peace to the recipients. Sympathy cards are not an easy thing to make but I find comfort in them.

Well, that's all I have for today!
Stop back tomorrow for another challenge from Merry Monday! Those ladies are really putting out some great challenges to start off this New Year!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day, my friends!

Happy Stamping!

Stampin Up Party

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Sorry for being MIA the last few days!
Had my Dad for his Cataract Surgery on Wednesday and first thing Thursday he had a return appointment to see the Eye Surgeon to see how things were progressing. Went to visit him today a few minutes and his eye looks wonderful and his vision is crisp & clear! He's anxious to have the 2nd eye done soon.

Today my friend Deb R, had our first Stampin Up Party of the New Year! We made 3 cards that i'm excited to share with you today!

Here we go!

After using this Painted Petals set from the Occasions Mini Catalog, I'm in love!
This set is so pretty and makes the prettiest flower cards! At first I did not like it or even have a want for it but today totally changed my mind! I booked a party for February 13th with my girls and I will be ordering this set for sure!
I really loved all 3 cards we made today and had a wonderful time seeing & talking to the girls! We certainly have a terrific group of ladies!

Well, that's all for me tonight!
Today was a busy day but tomorrow I plan on doing some crafting! My kind of day!

Thanks for stopping by & have a good night!

Merry Monday Challenge #141

Hello & Happy Monday!

What a yukky morning it is here in south central PA. We are experiencing an ice storm which we hope will turn over to rain later today! For now it's causing some travel delays but I guess this is what we have to live with during the winter months. I will be so happy once spring arrives and the grass turns green and the flowers come up!

In the meantime, the girls over at Merry Monday have another wonderful challenge for us this week! This card challenge is to help us build our Christmas card stash all year long so once the holidays arrive we aren't under the stress of making cards, they are already made!

This week our hostess is Katie and she gave us a fantastic challenge! Hope you will stop by the blog to see the gang's cards for inspiration!

Here we go!

Who would have thought you would not have any critters in your stash! Well, that would be this girl!! This hedgehog is the only critter in my million & one stamps! Lots of penguins, bears and birds but no critters! I asked my hubby to define a critter for me!  LOL Then I looked thru some card idea's on my computer and realized I have this cute hedgehog in a Stampin Up Best of Snow set! I was so happy! Sometimes these challenges really do turn into CHALLENGES! LOL

I made my card into a Z Fold type of card and did it in monochromatic colors! I'm not too good with coloring critters! LOL That might be why I don't have any!

I hope you love my little hedgehog critter and will play along with us this week!

Christmas Card Challenge #141- Christmas Critters!

Stamps: Best of Snow, Good Greetings, Versatile Verses
Ink: Soft Suede
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Whisper White, Christmas Cocoa Specialty DSP
Accessories: Rectangle Stitched Dies from Lil Inker, MS Snowflake Punch, White Cotton Ribbon, Rhinestone, Glue Dot, 2 Sided Tape

Cute, adorable & very mail friendly! Let's keep this New Year's Resolution going!

Thanks for stopping by & have a marvelous Monday!
