Ways To Use It Challenge 346

Hello & Happy Thursday!

It's a rainy, dreary one here today and calling for our first frost this season! Guess that means I better dig out our winter coats later!

Today is the Ways To Use It Challenge....another challenge I always like to participate in!
We were challenges today to use "leaves". I found in my stash this leaf wreath that I stamped last year and never got to use. It is done with the little leaf in the SU set called Autumn Days. I do not own this set but one day hope too! It's a nice set! :)

I cut my wreath out with a Circle Nestibilities and layered it onto a piece of Always Artichoke cut with the Circle Scallop Nestibilities. I added a few little gold beads & an Elegant Eggplant Grosgrain Ribbon bow. I used More Mustard as my card base and a piece of Neenah White cs on top of that which was run thru the Cuttlebug with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder. I only ran it thru about 3/4 of the way so i'd have room to place my sentiment. I added a piece of More Mustard Grosgrain Ribbon and called it done! And the nice thing about it is that it's pretty flat for mailing purposes! :)
Take a look....

Ways To Use It Challenge 346 Card:

Well, that's all I have for today!

Sketch Challenge 356

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your all having a great day! The weather here today is cloudy one minute and sunny the next. I know rain is in the forecast the next day or so then it's gonna get quite chilly! I've even heard snow for the weekend! I certainly hope not as we have a Halloween Party to attend Saturday night! I'm so looking forward to going to it but have no idea as far as a costume yet. I was looking at a Fred & Wilma Flintstone costume but haven't been able to find any bigger than a small or medium. I'm sure we'll find something! :)

So, today is Sketch Challenge day over at SCS and I always love playing along!
Below is the layout & my sample....

Sketch Challenge 356 Card:

Stamps: Gingerbread Christmas, Sentiment from Amuse
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Real Red SU Marker
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Neenah White, Reminisce DSP
Accessories: MS Gingerbread Punch, Square & Square Scallop Nestibilities, Gold Metallic Ribbon, Modern Label & Word Window Punch, Gold Beads, Dimensionals, Scor Tape

Loved today's sketch and i'm enjoying being back to doing some stamping! Although, I think it'll take a bit to get use to the layout of my stamp room and where all my supplies are. It's all good though!!! :)

So, that's all for today, folks!
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Color Challenge 343

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

It's Color Challenge day over at SCS and I felt like participating today!
The colors are: More Mustard, Soft Suede & Tangerine Tango. A nice blend of colors for fall, wouldn't you say so?
I picked up a tablet at Micheal's and covered the front & back with SU's Spice Cake DSP (in which I just LOVEEE!!) I added some pretty Spice Cake Fabric & a More Mustard button. I pulled out an Amuse stamp set that I bought for Thanksgiving called Bounty of the Season. I used More Mustard & Soft Suede on that and layered it on some Tangerine Tango cardstock. I popped that up with dimensionals and added some Micheal's Rhinestones. Lastly, I added a strip of dsp in my RSVP pen and called it done!

I love it!! :)

Color Challenge 343 Tablet:

Stamps: Bounty of the Season (Amuse)
Ink: More Mustard, Soft Suede
Cardstock: Tangerine Tango, Very Vanilla, Spice Cake DSP
Accessories: Micheal's Rhinestones. Spice Cake Fabric, Spice Cake Button, RSVP Pen, Dimensionals, Scor Tape

Well, that's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!!

Long Time No See....

Hello & Happy Saturday!

I know I have been slacking in the updating department and with my back problem, I have just been laying low and resting it as much as I can. Besides the Vicodin they gave me for it just completely knocks me out and I feel sluggish most of the time. I am happy to report that it is getting better and I sat down the last 2 days and crafted just a bit. I knew my October calendars were soon coming due and had to get workin on my Magnolia one.

The first one was made with the Pure Innocence girls from MFT. I made this set back at the beginning of the year for my friend Deb!!

This set I used the Magnolia stamps. I made this one for myself! :)

I just love these!
Then come next year I will print out the 2012 calendars and cut them down to fit each month and attach. Although it would be fun to just make a whole new set of calendars! LOL We'll see on that!!

Well, that's all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!!
Oh and Happy October 1st!!!
