Hearts, Hearts & More Hearts...

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your week is going well so far!

Today I am sharing a Valentines Day card that I made up for myself.
I got my card lady's order finished and delivered to her. Hopefully that will hold her over for a bit. It felt good to sit and just play with things in my stash. I wanted to get some Valentines Day cards made to send out soon.

You know I like to mix new and old things together and this card is no different!
I started with a cardbase of Highland Heather then a layer of Basic White that was run thru the Big Shot with the NEW Gingham EF.
Next I grabbed some paper scraps from the Sweet Talk DSP measuring 1 x 4. I staggered them on my embossed Basic White cardstock. Next I pulled out the retired Meant to Be Bundle and diecut a Highland Heather stitched heart from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits. The other heart were pieces already diecut that I keep in a clear envelope inside each stamp case. I then stamped my sentiment from the Meant to Be stamp set in Real Red ink on my Basic White heart and glued it all together. I added a bow with the White Glittered Ribbon and added some Red Rhinestones for sparkle.
I liked that my Highland Heather diecut heart matched the hearts in the one sheet of DSP.
The Sweet Talk DSP is one of the nicest packs of Valentines Day paper that we've had in awhile. Such pretty prints & patterns!

Card Details:

Stamps: Meant to Be
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Highland Heather, Basic White, Real Red, Sweet Talk DSP
Accessories: Gingham EF, Be Mine Stitched Framelits (retired), White Glittered Ribbon, Red Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Today Shawn is off since he worked all weekend.
I'm not sure what kind of trouble we will get into but I need to grab some groceries sometime before we get another blast of artic air that is to come during the night tonight.
After that I will hibernate a few days and work on some more Valentines Day cards!
Stay tuned! LOL

Valentines Day Treat Boxes & More

 Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

Hope your having a nice weekend!
Not much happening here this weekend since Shawn is working.
They have a project going on and the plant has to be shut down in order for contractors to come in to do the work. Yesterday was a very long day for him so I hope today won't be as long.

Today I have a treat box to share made using the Sweet Little Boxes from the January - June Mini Catalog. These are easy to assemble and need no adhesive as they come with 2 Sided Tape on them.

I made these to give to my family and a few friends.
I am no longer making treats to sell since it's too much wear and tear on my hands.
I filled these with 6 Dove chocolates which fit nicely inside.

Project Details:

Stamps: Love & Happiness
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Sweet Talk DSP
Accessories: Sweet Little Boxes, Bouquet of Love Hybrid EF & Dies, Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon, Iridescent Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The Sweet Little Boxes are just as their name says!
The outside you can stamp on and the inside has a food safe coating on.

Yesterday I talked about my little tiered tray that I decorated for Valentines Day!
I have some pictures of my tray and some decorations...

The last several months my daughter got me hooked into Rae Dunn collecting!
It's always fun to be hunting for new things, mostly the mugs.
We went out hunting the day after Christmas and found most of the items that are on my shelf. Home Goods and Hobby Lobby are my places to shop!

I found some Valentine hearts fairy lights at Walmart that I strung along with my garland. All the mugs are Rae Dunn and came from Home Goods, TJ Maxx and Marshall's.
The little gumball machine and Buffalo Check hearts came from Hobby Lobby.

Next is my kitchen table where I have my tiered tray.
Kelsey gave it to me a few years ago. I mostly used it to display my candy treats because I did not know what else to use it for. It's very small!!
My tiered tray has a variety of things in it from my craft stash.
I found a Valentines Day ceramic tree at Hobby Lobby that is battery operated that jumped into my cart! It's so cute and fit perfectly on my tiered tray. I found a few other items at Hobby Lobby too that fit nicely. The ladder is one of them. I wasn't sure how to display it but again it's one of those things that seemed to fit nicely! I have 2 packs of Swankie soft pack tissues in the top that I have had in my Valentine stash for ever. A little pillow that says I love you and of course some yummy candy to sweeten the deal. I also have a very small wooden cutting board in the back on the bottom tray. It has a heart on the right hand corner and I tied a big bow on it. That came from Hobby Lobby. Some items came from my Stampin Up stash like the Black & White Gingham Ribbon and a retired Heart Foil Pan & see thru lid that was out a few years ago. I filled it with Dove chocolates and it fit nicely on my tiered tray. It helps to be a crafter sometimes! LOL

Most people know that I love my Gingerbread decorations.
Most of my kitchen is Gingerbread themed so that is why you are seeing Gingerbreads!
They are out all year long!

Last is my picture table that sits in my Living Room that goes back the hallway to the bedrooms.
I have been trying to decorate this for every holiday.
You will see my one white ceramic Christmas tree sitting out in the middle of that table year round. I call this tree my night light because it gives off a nice light at night. This ceramic tree I found at Cackleberry's Antique Store in Lancaster, PA. several years ago. It was painted like a mauve color and had dried flowers hanging on it.It was not properly painted and fired in a kiln and had no shine to it. It was so ugly but hey, for $25 it was a steal!
I brought that tree home and cleaned it good, then spray painted it with a good primer. Then used Krylon White Glossy Spray paint and did 3 coats. After a few days of drying I sprayed it with a Ultra High Gloss so it would shine. It turned out better than I could have hoped and she has shined brightly ever since. I never put this one away as it's one of my favorites! It is a Gare Mold ceramic tree. As you can see I have some Rae Dunn pieces on my table....those gnomes are growing on me. My friend Vicki in Missouri found the red gnome mug and sent it to me! (Thank You Vicki!!!) I also have signs that I have found at Home Goods & Hobby Lobby on there too along with family & friends pictures. The bottom I decorate with different pillows that I picked up at Home Goods & Hobby Lobby as well. The Black & White check on the pillows and little hearts that I have displayed all tie in together with things in the kitchen. I have curtains, chair pads, a table cloth and Black & White Ribbon tied on my Rae Dunn canisters.

Sometimes I think it looks like a hot mess and other times I just love it! LOL
I started to get things together for my St Patrick's Day display which I will share when it's done. I already have a few Rae Dunn items for Easter that Kelsey has given me over the last few years. I'm sure your wondering what Shawn thinks of all this?!
He takes me out shopping all the time and has even given suggestions on decorations and helps pick things out! He enjoys the hunt for Rae Dunn stuff just as much as Kelsey & I!
He's definitely a keeper!!!

I know I have not shared my Christmas decorations this past year.
I will share my pictures one day this week once I get them off my phone!

So, if you've stayed here this long.....I hope you enjoyed my craziness!

Thank You's

 Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

Yesterday we had a fun day out running some errands and squeezed in a little shopping, too!
I have been wanting to go to Hobby Lobby the last several weeks to see what the had for St Patrick's Day. I picked up some cute decorations for my little tiered tray that I started decorating for different holidays. It sits on my kitchen table and it's quite small. Right now it's decorated for Valentine's Day. I will share some pictures tomorrow of my decorations!
Anyways, I snagged some cute things for St Patrick's Day for in my tiered tray and grabbed more patterned paper for St Patrick's Day, as well.

Today I have the last pack of cards to share that was part of my card lady's order that I got delivered to her yesterday. This last pack is Thank You cards.

Again I mixed some old things with new!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweet Ice Cream
Ink: Purple Posy (retired)
Cardstock: Purple Posy (retired), Petal Pink, Basic White, All Dressed Up DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Tailor Made Tags Dies, White Glittered Ribbon, Iridescent Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I had to do alot of fancy cutting to get enough pieces of the DSP to work for 5 cards and in the end I was pleased with the outcome. Even my card lady commented on how pretty these turned out! In the last picture I shared a close up of the NEW Iridescent Rhinestones. They reminded me of a cold winter's day (which indeed it was!!). They bring some sparkle to any card and looked amazing next to the White Glittered Ribbon! So pretty!

We were to drop down to 7 degrees overnight here in Red Lion, PA and i'm sure it feels even colder with the wind chills. Too dang cold for my liking!

Ladybug Birthday Set

 Hello & Happy Friday!

Shawn is off today so we are headed out to run some errands.
It got bitterly cold yesterday!
I was out shoveling the driveway once the snow stopped. It rained most of the night then changed over to snow. We had maybe 2 inches....more like slop! Our neighbor, Mr Randy came over to lend a hand and we chatted a few minutes after we were done. I could tell he was starting to get cold so we said our goodbyes and I thanked him for helping me. I went inside and grabbed a hat and back out to shovel a spot in the backyard for the dogs. By the time I finished up, I was froze!
How many days till spring??

Today I have a set of cards to share that are part of my card lady's order.
She needed a pack of regular Happy Birthday's so I took out the Hello Ladybug Bundle and got to work! This bundle is SO much fun!

I'm not crazy on black & white DSP's and usually do not buy them.
I did buy the hostess pack this year called Pattern Party and it's filled with so many pretty prints and colors! Well worth every cent! I found this particular piece and decided to go with it. It also worked well with my adorable lady bugs!

Card Details:

Stamps: Hello Ladybug, Biggest Wish
Ink: Real Red, Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic Black, Basic White, Pattern Party DSP (Hostess)
Accessories: Tasteful Labels Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Ladybug Builder Punch, Matte Black Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I don't own a ladybug stamp set so when I first saw this bundle in the January -June Mini Catalog I got excited and bought it. So far I have been quite pleased!

Masculine HB

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I have a set of masculine birthday cards to share that are part of my card lady's order.
Since I have no idea who these cards are going to, I try to keep them neutral. No hunting or fishing. Usually I reach for feathers but this time I used the retired Painted Christmas DSP and the pinecones from the Christmas Season stamp set.

Card Details:

Stamps: Christmas Season, Special Moments (SAB 22)
Ink: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Basic White, Painted Christmas DSP (retired)
Accessories: Seasonal Layers Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I liked how these turned out and hope that she will too!

I finished up her card order yesterday so today I will be able to move on with doing some fun stamping for myself! Yay!

Valentine's Day Gatefold

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

We are in for a bit of a treat today with temps going into the low 40's!
I hope it melts some of the snow/ice that's outside. Then it's to snow again overnight tonight.
It seems like winter is here to stay after all those 60 degree days back in December.
We were spoiled but I guess we have to take the good with the bad.

I have a Valentine's card to share today that I made for my card lady. She wanted a pack of Valentine's and wanted to know if I could have 4 of the same card and then add the Panda card from yesterday to make the package of 5. I'm always happy to make whatever she needs. This set of 4 is a Gatefold card using a mix of new & old.

I don't think I have made a gatefold style card in quite awhile.
They are so fun!

Card Details:

Stamps: Forever Lovely (retired), Lots of Heart (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Sweet Talk DSP
Accessories: Many Hearts Dies (retired), Classic Label Punch (retired), Red Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Today I hope to wrap up her card order so I can make a few things for myself, especially some Valentine's Day cards for friends & family!

Panda Valentine

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Cold & windy seems to be the words of the day!
It's been crazy cold and the wind just makes it feel worse.
I will be hibernating this week working on another card order from my card lady then I hope to do some fun stamp projects for myself!

I have a sweet little card to share that was made for a little baby boy that is a friend of my card lady's. This little boy was born in November and she wanted to send a card to him to celebrate his 1st Valentine's Day!
I'm not gonna lie.....this one stumped me!
I searched thru so many stamp sets looking for something for a baby and came across this SaleABration stamp set from 2018 called Party Panda's. Just perfect for what I needed!

My stamped panda image is holding a balloon so I stamped a heart with the retired Groovy Love stamp set and punched it out with the retired Sweetheart Punch. I placed the heart over top of the balloon and added a Black Twine bow to make the heart look like a balloon.
My card lady said it was so cute & perfect for baby Henry!
I guess it's always good to have retired stuff in your stash!

Card Details:

Stamps: Party Panda's (retired SAB 18), Forever Lovely (retired), Groovy Love (retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Basic White, Pop of Pink Specialty DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Sweetheart Punch (retired), Black Twine, Melon Mambo Enamel Hearts (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Sweet Conversations

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope you had a relaxing weekend?
Did you do any card making?
I wanted to but it just did not happen. I spent most of Saturday packing away my ceramic Christmas trees that are in the family room. I also helped Shawn with putting a new toilet in the downstairs bathroom. We talked about it for the last several months and we finally did it! Then Sunday, I cleaned & put my family room back together. My back has been screaming between doing too much bending and the very cold weather, so I spent the rest of Sunday watching the football playoffs. Real exciting, right?

I do have a pretty set of Valentines cards to share that I made for my card lady!
This set uses the new Sweet Conversations bundle & the Sweet Talk DSP from the January - June Mini Catalog. It's a cute set and the only Valentines related thing I got this year.

These are pretty straight forward and easy peasy to make!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweet Conversations
Ink: Real Red, Highland Heather
Cardstock: Real Red, Highland Heather, Basic White, Sweet Talk DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon, Red Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
