Sweet & Spooky Kit

 Hello & Happy Thursday, Friends!

Today I am sharing the last Halloween Treat for 2025.
I used Stampin Up!'s Sweet & Spooky Kit from the Online Exclusives. I seen how cute they are and that was it! I put these together and added Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins, Ghosts & Bats to them. I picked up a huge bag at Sam's Club. These boxes are a really nice size and hold alot!

I just loved this kit and hope that every year they bring out something like this! It definitely helps on getting some treats made! I love the colors & patterns on the boxes and SO easy to put together! There is no stamping, just punchouts that attach to the box with adhesive. It comes with paper clips, twine and some sparkly stars! I thought about grabbing another one but 15 is enough for me.

Our weather today is to be another rainy, dreary day. It is also the Celebration of Life services here in Red Lion for the 3 police officers that were killed in the line of duty last week. It's been pretty somber around here. Quite a few roads will be shut down for the funeral procession at certain times too today, so I warned Shawn of that in his travels home this evening. Please continue to keep the families in your prayers.

Peppermint Patties Little Treat Boxes

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

Halfway thru the week already!
Last evening as we headed to deliver Audrey's card order, the sky got dark and the thunder & lightening started. It poured buckets the whole way to her house! Once we arrived at her house I had to wait about 10 minutes before heading to her door because it was raining so hard. I visited with her about 30 minutes and we had our usual chats about the Halloween candy treats & her card order. She looked great and was in good spirits, too!

Today I have another quick Halloween treat to share with you using retired products. I used the Little Treat Box Dies from a few years ago and filled my box with 2 York Peppermint Patties. I only grabbed 1 bag of the peppermint patties this year and used 3/4 of it for my treats. I personally love them and I know Audrey does too!

Project Details:

Stamps: Little Treats (retired)
Ink: Rich Razzleberry (retired)
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Basic Black, Plaid Tidings DSP (retired)
Accessories: Little Treat Boxes Dies (retired), Halloween Magic Dies (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Rich Razzleberry Enamel Stars (retired), Black & White Ribbon (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

On this treat holder I only had to adhere everything together as most of it was already diecut from a previous project which made things go alot quicker. I do love this little treat box holder as it is perfect to hold the York Peppermint Patties. I may use it again for Christmas treats since it's a nice size. It's one of those bundles that I do not think I will ever part with and it's filled with different holidays!  I have used it lots over the years and have gotten my money's worth out of it!

So, today we are in for more rain but I hope it doesn't come until after I get a quick run to the store this evening. Ryan has been under the weather with a cold and I need to grab him more cold medicine. Hope he soon gets to feeling better!

Trick or Treat Boxes & Meeting Sushi

Hello & Happy Monday, Friends!

Hope you all had a nice weekend! We had a good weekend. Yesterday Shawn & Kelsey went to a local lake to use the paddleboards and even though it was a cloudy day they both said they enjoyed it! Afterwards Kelsey brought over her new puppy which she named, Sushi. We finally got a chance to meet him but Bailee wasn't too sure what to make of the hyper little thing. She steered clear of him. Hopefully in time she will get use to him. Here are a few pictures of him...

He is 9 weeks old and doing pretty fabulous with eating & going potty but he is starting to chew on things. He kept going after my slippers and then after my shoes strings on my sneakers. He is the size of a man's hand and reminds me of being a teacup but oh so cute!

Anyways, today I have another Halloween treat to share with you. I have such a huge supply of bags & boxes in my storage cabinet so I pulled out these boxes from a few years ago and decorated a few with the Spooky Halloween bundle and added a Kit Kat & A Twix bar to each one. 2 of my favorite candies! Yum!

Project Details:

Stamps: Spooky Halloween (Online Exclusives), Fright Night (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Memento Black, Granny Apple Green, Stampin Blends-Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Timid Tiger, Petunia Pop
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Spooky Sweet DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Sweet Little Boxes (retired), Spooky Halloween Dies (Online Exclusives), Fright Night Dies (Online Exclusives), Timid Tiger Ribbon, Petunia Pop In Color Shimmer Gems, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

They turned out to be quick & easy and I love that I can get 2 bite sized candy bars inside. They happen to be my favorites!

Iridescent Treat Bags for Halloween

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Friends!

Hope the start of your weekend is off to a great start!
The sun is shining and we are in for a lovely day here in south central Pennsylvania!

Before I get into anything crafty I just wanted to touch base quickly on the deadly shooting that happened here this past week where 5 police officers were shot. 3 of which have passed away and 2 others are hospitalized. This happened very close to us (a few towns over) and that day is one that people will never forget. So sad & so senseless these shootings. My thoughts & prayers are with the families of these officers. I just cannot fathom what they are going thru. This has sat heavily on my mind these last several days and just added to the grief I have been feeling the last few weeks. I am one who has always been a worrier and this incident has just added to my worry. The last few days our weather has been absolutely gorgeous which usually puts a spring on my step but I have felt defeated. I'm trying to pour my heart into crafting but it's just been tough. My hope is with time it will get easier to move forward. Please keep these families in your thoughts & prayers as this community has suffered a terrible loss.

Today I am sharing with you another Halloween treat that I whipped up recently using the Iridescent Treat Bags from the Stampin Up! Online Exclusive list. I have had these since maybe July and waited for the Halloween candies to hit the shelves before I decided what to do with them. I found at Sam's Club a box of the Halloween Oreo cookies and put a pack of them inside each bag. I decorated them and have 20 of these for sale. Audrey loves these cookies to give to the little ones so I know she will want a bunch of these. Here is what I made and I know my pictures are a little rough because of the Iridescent on the bags but they are pretty cool and quite different from anything that we've ever had before.

Project Details:

Stamps: Party Celebrations (Online Exclusives), Fright Night (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Memento Black
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Petunia Pop, Basic Black, Basic White
Accessories: Iridescent Treat Bags (Online Exclusives), Fright Night Dies (Online Exclusives), Foam Stars (Online Exclusives), Petunia Pop Iridescent Ribbon (Online Exclusives), Handheld Hole Punch (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Another quick & easy project with the help of the cello bags!

2025 Halloween M&M Sticks

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

We had a beautiful day here yesterday and today is also looking to be just as nice!
I spent most of yesterday in my stamp room finishing up the Halloween treats. I just need to make a price list yet. The last treats I made was the famous M&M Sticks. Stampin Up! use to carry the 1 x 8 Cello bags but retired them a few years back so now I get them off of Ebay. I have a customer who loves getting these and handing them out, so I do make sure to have them for almost every holiday! This years Halloween M&M's were not the pretty bright colors they have been the last several years (purple, green & orange) but are orange & black. At first I was not gonna get them but I figured Jane would be sad if I did not have them. I grabbed 2 bags and started filling my cello bags. I got 24 sticks from those 2 bags and I decorated them with lots of retired product! Take a look...

Just look at all those happy little ghosts! Super sweet & not at all scary!

Project Details:

Stamps: Spooky Cat (retired 2017)
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: Greetings of the Season Dies (retired 2024), Frightful Tags Dies (retired 2021), Tricks & Treats Dies (2023), Halloween Twine (retired), Dimensionals

It's a good thing I enjoy making these because I fill tons of these cello bags every year! And besides....we doesn't love M&M's?!

Stay tuned for more Halloween treats in the coming days, ok?

Bag of Bones

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!

I hope you had a nice weekend!
We had some gorgeous weather here in PA. We got out for a few walks and noticed that the leaves are starting to change color and fall to the ground. It won't be long now!

Today I have another Halloween candy treat to share with you. This one is made with the retired Bag of Bones bundle from last year.

Card Details:

Stamps: Bag of Bones
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Highland Heather
Cardstock: Highland Heather, Basic White
Accessories: Bag of Bones Dies, Taylor Made Tags Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Cello Bags, Black Iridescent Pearls (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The tags were leftover from a project last year and since they coordinated with the Kit Kat candy bars I used them! The cello bags came from Walmart and are the Wilton Pretzel Stick bags that are in the Cake Decorating section. I was able to fit 2 Kit Kats in each cello bag. My goal this holiday season is to use up what I have without having to buy more. Those cello bags have been in my stash for quite awhile. You will most likely see a variety of treats using cello bags this year!

Playful Ghosts Snickers Bags

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

Yesterday turned out to be a gorgeous day with lots of blue skies & sunshine!
It really helped to keep me motivated and on task.

Today I have a few things to get done including laundry and also preparing for my Stamp Day with Friends get together tomorrow morning! Tomorrow is World Card Making Day and every year I do try to get my friends over to make cards. This was a last minute decision for me as sometimes Saturday mornings are a bit rough after taking my Mounjaro injection the night before. Usually I am just tired & sleepy from it so fingers crossed I have no other side effects. Deb & Emily were so HAPPY when I said I was going to have it. It's been months since we stamped together. I got 4 cards prepared for us and i'm sure there is going to be lots of gabbing & laughing going on, too!

Today I have a quick Halloween treat to show you. This one is made with the Playful Ghosts stamp set from the Online Exclusives list. On this simple treat I used the vampire ghost from the set. I used him on a tag and tied it to a Pretzel Stick cello bag that came from Walmart. Each cello bag has 2 of the Snickers Ghoulish Green Snack Bars in. I tied the tag on with ribbon and called them done.

Project Details:

Stamps: Playful Ghosts
Ink: Memento Black, Basic Black Archival (retired), Stampin Blends- Smoky Slate & Granny Apple Green
Cardstock: Granny Apple Green, Basic Black, Basic White
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies, Oval Layering Framelits, Granny Apple Green Glittered Enamel Dots (retired), Hand Held Hole Punch (retired), Black & White Checkered Ribbon (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These were so quick to put together other than the coloring on the vampire!
I'm trying to use up what's in my stash. Lots of cool idea's floating around in my head for treat idea's this holiday season so we'll see how much of it comes to be! LOL

Oreo Pumpkin Boxes

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today the sun is to shine!!! YAY!!
We haven't seen the sun for a week and a half so that will be nice!

Today I have a Halloween treat to share with you using the Halloween Oreo Cookie packs that I usually get at Sam's but did not see them this year. I found a box at Target. I know Audrey loves giving them to the kiddo's in her neighborhood that she knows so I do try to get them. Ryan usually eats what's left over.

To create the boxes I used a die from last year's Halloween offerings called Tricks & Treats Dies. It is retired but I decided to use it anyways because it was a good size to hold the cookie packs. I just trimmed some of the height off before I glued it together. I added the Halloween Spells DSP and then my adorable happy pumpkin!

Card Details:

Stamps: Harvest Hello (retired), Playful Ghosts (Sentiment-Online Exclusives)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black Archival (retired), Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede, Granny Apple Green, Basic White
Accessories: Tricks & Treats Dies (retired), Apple Builder Punch, Stylish Shapes Dies, Black Twine, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Audrey loves that happy pumpkin and when she saw these boxes it made her smile!
I only made 6 and told her if she needed more to let me know. I have plenty of cookies!

Choose Happy= Halloween Treats

 Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

I hope your day is off to a great start!
My plan is the same as yesterday....gonna get inky!

I did get to my stamp table and had the best time putting together my 2024 Halloween Sticks that I make every year! But before I get to that I wanted to give an update on Audrey. She is my card lady and has been ordering cards & treats from me since 2012. Yesterday she called me and gave me a small order and we chatted about 20 minutes. Today is her 94th birthday! And on top of that she has shingles! My heart sank when she described the pain she was dealing with. She has it under her skin on her scalp which is an odd place for it but it does happen. Her doctor gave her yet another pill to help which in turn makes her nauseous. I recommended some Ginger Chews since I use them with being on Mounjaro. She has been thru so much in the last few years and she keeps on chugging along. My plan today is to make a card to send her. If your the praying type please say a little prayer for her. I know she would appreciate that.

Here are the Halloween M&M Sticks I made.
I used the Choose Happy stamp set from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. It's the cutest and definitely covers many occasions!

Project Details:

Stamps: Choose Happy
Ink: Memento Black, Pumpkin Pie, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Basic Black Archival (retired), Stampin Blends-Pumpkin Pie & Granny Apple Green
Cardstock: Basic White, Granny Apple Green
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Handheld Hole Punch (retired), Halloween Night Twine (retired), Iridescent Black Pearls (retired), Dimensionals

I bought 2 bags of the Halloween Ghoul's Mix M&M's and got 20 sticks made.
These were so much fun to make and it just made my day happier!

Happy Halloween!

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Happy Halloween, my friends!

Today I have a cute treat box to share with you that I made using the Tricks & Treats Dies. I like that the set of dies has this particular die in it to make a box! Once I had my boxes diecut, I glued them together and then decorated it with some Them Bones DSP. Take a look...

I found the individually wrapped Halloween Oreo cookies at Sam's Club back at the end of August. I know that Audrey loves giving these cookie out to the kids she knows! I also kept my packaging in the same colors to match the cookie wrapper.

Project Details:

Stamps: Tricks & Treats, Sentiment from Spooky Fun (retired)
Ink: Orchid Oasis, Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Orchid Oasis, Basic White, Them Bones DSP
Accessories: Tricks & Treats Dies, Classic Label Punch (retired), Nested Essentials Dies, Glow in the Dark Bats & Ghosts, Hand Held Hole Punch, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have sold 9 of these cookie totes! The last one I gave to Kelsey's manager at work for Halloween. She's been very helpful to Kelsey recently and she just loved the cookies!

And I was recently at Sam's Club and they now have the Christmas Oreo Cookies in the individual wrappers! Of course, I had to grab a box to decorate for Christmas!

Last evening we did not go to the parade as it was raining & got very windy but hopefully tonight we will be able to sit out to hand candy out to the trick or treaters!

Bag of Bones Kit Kats

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope that you all had a nice weekend!
We were so busy that it just fly by for me. I hope next weekend to catch my breath!
Tonight is the Red Lion Halloween Parade which we may try to go to if it's not raining.

Today I am sharing 1 of 2 of my candy treats that I made for Audrey. I picked up a bag of Halloween Kit Kats at the grocery store and loved that they matched the new Bag of Bones stamp set! This is what I made.

These turned out super cute!
The acetate boxes I already had on hand but they are retired. They are 3 1/8 x 3 1/8.
I wrapped a piece of Them Bones DSP around the box to help hold my tag on which I attached with 2 Dimensionals. The tag is from the Tailor Made Tags Dies. I stamped my skeleton on the tag in Basic Black Archival ink which is retired.

Project Details:

Stamps: Bag of Bones
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Highland Heather
Cardstock: Basic White, Highland Heather, Them Bones DSP
Accessories: Acetate Boxes (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Tailor Made Tags Dies, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Tomorrow I will have 1 more treat to share for Halloween!
So I hope you will stop back!
