Playing in the Rain

Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

Today is Good Friday and most people have the day off but Shawn has to work. Boo!
I have a few things on my agenda today to do but then I hope to spend the afternoon crafting. Ryan asked for deviled eggs to go along with our Easter dinner Sunday so I am always happy to make them for him. It's one thing he does like! We are in for a delightful day with sunshine and some warm temps which I am sure will put a spring in my step! LOL I have one set of Easter cards to share that I made for on the card rack. These were a last minute creation so they will not be going anywhere this year since Easter is only 2 days away. I pulled out my very loved Playing in the Rain bundle and used that adorable bunny on my cards. Sadly. this set will be retiring on May 5th.

Card Details:

Stamps: Playing in the Rain, Excellent Eggs (retired sentiment)
Ink: Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron (retired), Memento Black, Stampin Blends- Balmy Blue, Petal Pink, Mint Macaron (retired)
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Basic White, Country Gingham DSP (retired)
Accessories: Greetings of the Season Dies, Playing in the Rain Dies, White Ribbon (Online Exclusives), Waves Rhinestones (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I used the Stack & Shuffle technique with the Country Gingham DSP which has been long retired but the perfect choice of springtime colors! I have a full pack unopened and about 2/3 of a pack that I am slowly picking at. The Stack & Shuffle technique is a fun one and really showcases your DSP. It is one of my "go to's" for using up paper and so fun!
The inside of the cards say Happy Easter.

Looks Like Spring!

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

I hope your weekend is off to a great start!
It's to be a rainy day here so I hope this card will make you smile!
The card I am sharing today I made the other day and I just loved the colors especially for spring! I used the Playing in the Rain Bundle again and the coordinating Rain or Shine DSP.

Card Details:

Stamps: Playing in the Rain, Thanks A Bunch (retired SAB 23)
Ink: Memento Black, Mango Melody (retired), Stampin Blends - Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody (retired)
Cardstock: Mango Melody, Flirty Flamingo, Basic White, Rain or Shine DSP (retired)
Accessories: Playing in the Rain Dies, Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Isn't that bunny just so cute? I'm thinking about incorporating him into my Easter cards somehow! He's just so darn happy!

So, yesterday I had my 6 month cleaning at the dentist. She found a molar that I just had refilled last April, well now it has 2 cracks in it. Dentist came in and told me I need crown on that tooth now and a sealant put on an upper back molar. Always something!
But.....didn't yesterday turn out to be a gorgeous day for mid-March? Too bad it couldn't continue a few more days!

My thoughts today...

Today is injection day for me so tomorrow I will probably not feel the best but thankfully it usually only last a day! I'm getting more use to them now and pretty much know what to expect which is a good thing because it is helping me to feel better everyday!

Thanks for stopping by & have yourself a wonderful Friday!

Playing in the Rain

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I'm sorry for the late post today as I was having computer issues and had to wait on Shawn to get home to help me out. I did play at my stamp table for a little bit. I made a card using the Playing in the Rain Bundle that came out last year but I haven't really used it much.

This card is going to Audrey. Her cancer treatments have really been setting her back for a day or two and I wanted her to know she is in my thoughts.
The saying on this comes from a new Online Exclusive set called Comforting Thoughts.

Card Details:

Stamps: Comforting Thoughts (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Old Olive
Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Basic White, Rain or Shine DSP (retired)
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies, Playing in the Rain Dies, Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

That adorable little turtle is diecut from the Rain or Shine DSP.
Hope this makes her smile!

Wasn't today such a beautiful day?!
I sat outback with Bailee a bit this morning. I'll take 70 degrees in March!

Showers Of Happiness

 Good Tuesday Morning, Everyone!

Today is to be a cloudy with a chance of showers kind of day so I will be headed to my stamp table a bit today. Yesterday it was such a nice day that I could not bring myself to stay in the basement all day so I did not go down to stamp. Shawn & I spent most of the evening sitting outback while Bailee & Shady ran around the yard.
Today I have a sweet baby shower card to share with you that Audrey requested on her last order. Her grandson and his wife are expecting a baby due in August. I pulled out the Rain or Shine Suite and made this cute card...

That adorable bunny makes for a cute baby shower card and Audrey just loved it!
The sentiment came from the retired Moon Baby stamp set which is my "go to" for all things baby.

Card Details:

Stamps: Playing In The Rain, Moon Baby (retired)
Ink: Pear Pizzazz
Cardstock: Basic White, Mango Melody (retired), Pear Pizzazz (retired), Rain Or Shine DSP (retired)
Accessories: Playing In The Rain Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The bunny was diecut directly from the Rain Or Shine DSP which makes life easier!
I love this entire suite of products!

Playing In The Rain Stamp A Stack Pt 2 **Updated**

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!

Quick post this morning as I have a dentist appointment first thing.
Today I get my new crown on a tooth that had a crown on but it had a big chip on it and wouldn't it figure, it was the side that you see when you smile. It's been a long time coming and I am thrilled to be able to finally smile again without that eye sore.

ETA: All went well at the dentist and my new crown fits perfectly! I love that I can now smile without that broke crown showing! Later today it is Shawn's turn to see the dentist. He has had pain all weekend. Advil took the edge off but did not take the pain away. I am praying the dentist can help him today!

The 2 cards I am sharing today are from the Rain Or Shine bundle in the current mini catalog. I participated in the Stamp A Stack over at Kitchen Table Stamper. I am always inspired by her cards & projects!
