Halloween Street

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Hope your all having a nice start to the weekend!
I have a busy day planned as a few friends are coming over to sit, laugh, chat and make a bunch of cards! I have been planning this for a few weeks and prepared some simple cards which I will share soon.
Today I have a cute Halloween card to share. These are for a customer order.

My customer just turned 87 years young this past week and let me tell you, she is more active than a teenager! She is very involved in her church and many activities. She takes care of her own home, inside & out all by herself. She is the most thoughtful & caring woman! She sends cards to everyone and when she asks for Halloween cards I know not to make them scary or spooky. So I went with this cute paper from the retired Motley Monsters DSP from a few years back. Those jack o lanterns are the cutest in these colors and nothing spooky at all. I used the retired Halloween Street single stamp, added a bow and called them done!

Halloween Street Card Set:

Stamps: Halloween Street
Ink: Tangerine Tango
Cardstock: Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Motley Monsters DSP (retired)
Accessories: Crushed Curry Chevron Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Super sweet & my customer loved them!

Halloween Cards

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Here are a few Halloween cards that I whipped up to send out. These were cards that I had in my "case" folder. Some I cased the exact way, some I made changes too and some are my own.

Cased from Wendy Janson

Cased from Mary Fish

Closeup of the Embossing Folder that is from Darice.
I had just picked it up at the Heirloom Stamp Show.

Cased from Kay Kalthoff

I used a variety of stamps, papers, embossing folders and cardstocks for these cards. If you have any questions please let me know! Thanks ladies for your inspiration!

The cards are addressed and postage has been put on these cards so come tomorrow they will go out in the mail to their destinations.

That's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Halloween Wreath

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Today my friend, Deb & I got together to make our Stampin Up Halloween Wreaths that we ordered last week. I also shared my Paper Pumpkin September Kit with her and we just had a great time talking & stamping!
I don't have any pictures of Deb's wreath right now but I was able to get some pics of mine. It's kinda overcast this evening so not much sun to help brighten up my picture.

I love how it turned out! The kit itself is very easy to put together but that beaded spider was a bit tedious and nonetheless it is awesome when it's done!

On my flag banner I used the new Halloween Street stamp since I did not have the set they used in the catty.

Well, that's all I have for today!
Tomorrow is another challenge from over at the Merry Monday gang. Hope you will stop back!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Sketch Challenge 507

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Took me a while till I finally made my way to the stamp table today! I actually was waiting on the UPS Man to drop off my Stampin Up order. Now that it is safely in the house I moved forward on getting my card made for today's Sketch Challenge 507.

Let's get started....

I wanted to use my new Halloween Street stamp that I have had for a few weeks so I flipped the sketch on it's side. The sentiment fit perfectly and what I love most of all about my card is the colors! Very Halloweeny!

Sketch Challenge 507 Card:

Stamps: Halloween Street
Ink: Tangerine Tango
Cardstock: Basic Black, Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Motley Monsters DSP
Accessories: Tangerine/White Two Toned Twine, Yellow Pearls, 2 Sided Tape

That's all for today!
I've been busy, busy, busy working on getting prepared for 2 craft shows this year! I'm so excited but nervous too! Tomorrow is to be a rainy day so I know I will be getting inky and hopefully I will have something to share with you tomorrow! Stay tuned!

Thanks for popping in today & enjoy the rest of your day!
