Flowering Rain Boots

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Friends!

We are in for a beautiful day and you know that means work for us!
We will be outside most of the day with power washing the porches, putting the summer furniture out and planting some flowers! My porches will finally look nice instead of cold & bare from the winter months!

Since it still is technically spring, I have a spring card to share today that I made for in my bin.
This one uses a long retired set called Flowering Rain Boots Bundle from 2023. I have had this set sitting on my Easter bin since then and today it finally saw ink! Yes, it took me 3 years to get it inky! Sad, I know!

Card Details:

Stamps: Flowering Rain Boots (retired 2023)
Ink: Soft Succulent (retired In Color), Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody (retired)
Cardstock: Mango Melody, Soft Succulent (retired In Color), Basic White, Flowering Fields DSP (retired)
Accessories: Flowering Rain Boots Dies (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Gold Sheer Ribbon, Loose Gold Sequins, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I know your probably asking why it took me so long to finally ink this beauty up but the truth is, Audrey keeps me so busy that I am usually spent once I have an order done for her that I don't feel like making cards for myself after that. Now that I cut back on taking card orders from her I am having time to play and make cards for myself! And you know I have so many sets that I never got the chance to ink up over the years so now is my time to enjoy them! This set is a winner in my book! I just love those boots!

To A Good Friend

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Halfway thru the week....YAY!

I have a card to share today that turned out so pretty!
I used a retired set from the 2025 Spring Online Exclusives called Mixed Media Florals. It was a suite of products that I haven't used too much but decided one day last week to pull it out and have some fun!

Card Details:

Stamps: Mixed Florals & Mixed Labels (retired Online Exclusives 2025)
Ink: Memento Black, Pretty Peacock, Stampin Blends- Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Boho Blue (retired), Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Petal Pink, Pretty Peacock, Basic White, Mixed Media Florals DSP (retired Online Exclusives 2025)
Accessories: Mixed Florals Dies & Mixed Labels Dies (retired Online Exclusives 2025), Plaster Painting 3D EF (retired Online Exclusives 2025), Gold Mesh Ribbon, Loose Gold Sequins, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The stamps & paper are so pretty! I'm not sure if any of these products are on the Last Chance List and if they are you should grab them! Worth every cent in my opinion!

Spotlight on Nature Friend Card

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Friends!

Hope your having a nice weekend!
The weather has been filled with sunshine but a tad on the cool side. I will still take it though!
Today I have a card to share that I made using the now retired Spotlight on Nature stamp set. It's a wonderful set and the dies have carried on into the new catalog come May!

Card Details:

Stamps: Spotlight on Nature (retired), Unbounded Beauty (sentiment retired)
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Mossy Meadow, Soft Seafoam, Garden Lane DSP (retired 2020)
Accessories: Unbounded Beauty Dies (retired), Textured Notes Dies (Online Exclusives), Blender Pen, Genial Gems (retired), Dimensionals, Stampin Seal Adhesive

I used my Blender Pen to pull some some ink into my images to make it look like shadows. I haven't done that in ages and truthfully, I wasn't even sure the Blender Pens were even still sold by Stampin Up!. When I first got into making cards that was the way I learned how to color images....with an ink pad & a Blender Pen.

Another pretty card for the bin!

Everything Is Rosy Friend Card

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I have made the decision to stop buying anything new for awhile and use what is in my stash. I have SO much great stuff that deserves to be used!
Today's card uses a retired bundle called Everything is Rosy. Do you remember it?

Card Details:

Stamps: Everything Is Rosy Medley (retired 2019 ), Unbounded Love (retired Sentiment), Fabulous Sayings (Inside- Jan 2026 Product of the Month)
Ink: Night of Navy, Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Melon Mambo, Basic White, Rose Gold Foil Paper, Everything Is Rosy Specialty DSP (retired)
Accessories: Everything Is Rosy Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The focal image panel and floral images were printed diecuts that came with the DSP. I seem to always forget to use them. I love the patterns in the DSP plus it has the Rose Gold Foil splashed throughout it! So pretty!

Friend Card

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I hope your week is going well so far!

We had some lovely sunshine yesterday but did not do much as far as the melting process goes because temps were only around 31 degrees. Today we are to hit 48 degrees so I hope alot will melt!
Over the weekend I had a few minutes to play at my stamp table. I pulled out some old stamps & paper to make some cards. The stamp set I pulled out was a wood mounted one called Heartfelt Thanks. I got this set when it first came out in 2005. When we did the move to Missouri in 2010 I sold this set to a friend. Last year the friend gave it back to me because she was getting rid of all her stamping stuff. This set was well loved over the years and I really wanted to just remind myself why I got the set in the first place.

Card Details:

Stamps: Heartfelt Thanks (retired 2005), Linen Background (retired), Everyday Flexible Phrases (retired 2004)
Ink: Cranberry Crisp (retired In Color), Bravo Burgundy (retired), Mellow Moss (retired)
Cardstock: Cranberry Crisp (retired In Color), Mellow Moss (retired), Very Vanilla, Recollections DSP (retired 2006)
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Tags to Go Dies (retired Online Exclusives), Elegant Faceted Dots (retired), Vanilla Twine, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

After my card was done I dropped my stamp onto my focal panel right above my friend tag. *sigh* I will need to redo that before this card leaves my stash. I was rushing to clean up. Tomorrow I will share the 2nd card I made with the same products. I always feels so good to pull out the old stuff and ink it up again! This set is a winner in my book and i'm so glad it's back in my collection!

Hey Friend Card

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

We made it to the weekend, finally!
It has been a bitterly cold, downright frigid week here in the northeast & for most parts of the US with the southern states seeing a measuring snow for the first time in years! I'd definitely say our weather has been crazy! I'm hoping for warmer temps as we head into this weekend so the ice & snow starts to melt and we can maybe get out for a walk.

Last Sunday was a big football day here and unfortunately our Baltimore Ravens did not make it to the next round of playoff games. I'm sad about that but they did have an amazing season and hopefully next year they get another shot of going to the Super Bowl. Anyways, that day I was on Facebook chatting thru Messenger with some friends and we were saying how bored we were. I threw out a challenge to them to make a spring time birthday card. Then once that challenge was done the other friend said let's do another one! This time she chose to challenge us to make a card with an animal on. I did participate in the spring time birthday challenge and will share that card tomorrow but first I wanted to share my animal challenge card!
I pulled out the SaleABRation set called Friendly Seagulls and made my card.

Oh my, that was so much fun and just what us 3 ladies needed on a COLD, snowy afternoon!
We said that we will do that again when time allows and I can't wait!

I really loved how this card turned out and even more happy that I got this set. I did not think I'd love it but I do! I remember growing up and going to the beach twice every summer for family vacations. Our happy place was Ocean City, Maryland and if you've ever been there you know they have the coolest boardwalk and the nicest beaches. And also the seagulls were an everyday sight whether it be on the beach or the boardwalk....they were everywhere. And yes, they love french fries! That is one memory that always comes to mind when I think of our summer days at the beach!

Card Details:

Stamps: Friendly Seagulls (SAB 25)
Ink: Memento Black, BoHo Blue, Smoky Slate, Stampin Blends-Smoky Slate, BoHo Blue, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: BoHo Blue, Smoky Slate, Basic White, Take to the Sky DSP
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies, BoHo Blue In Color Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Please stop back tomorrow and I will share my spring time birthday card challenge! I actually used that challenge to my advantage and used it for a pack of cards for Audrey!

Tonight will be a trip to Sam's Club so I hope I can muster up some energy till then!

Today I am sharing a set of cards made with retired Stampin Up products. I pulled out the Awash In Beauty Suite from 2022-2023. I don't have much of the DSP left so trying to use it up...

Hello Ladybug Pt 2

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

All went well with my cleaning yesterday then we hit the grocery store. Shawn was looking for fresh local peaches and some habanero peppers to make Peach & Habanero Jelly. Sounds good but I am not one for hot things so I will pass on this. Guess you know what he will be doing today! He had a busy day yesterday....a friend that he use to work with invited him out for lunch then after supper he got an invite to go out on the Susquehanna River to fish. He was in his glory and i'm glad he went and had a good time!

Today I am going to work on Audrey's cards then maybe head out to do some shopping later.
I have the second Hello Ladybug card to share with you today! I'm not sure why I did not share it when I did the first card but today you get to see both.

These were so fun to make and I love how they turned out!
They will soon be headed out in the mail!

Card Details:

Stamps: Hello Ladybug
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Real Red, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party
Cardstock: Real Red, Pool Party, Basic White, Pattern Party DSP (retired)
Accessories: Basic 3D EF (Online Exclusives), Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Hello Ladybug

 Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

Hope your weekend is going well!
Today I have a cute card to share made with the Hello Ladybug stamp set.
Hello Ladybug came out in January 2022 and is still available in the current Stampin Up! Annual Catalog. It also has a coordinating Ladybug Builder Punch which is so fun!
Sadly, I have not used this bundle too much but maybe after today I am thinking that I should before summer is gone.

I went to my stamp table and this is what I was playing around with. I had no rhyme or reason....just started to play.

I did not use the Ladybug Builder Punch on this card but I did use the other ladybug image in the set that does not go with the punch. He's just the sweetest!

Card Details:

Stamps: Hello Ladybug
Ink: Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, Basic Black Archival (retired), Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Pool Party, Basic White, Pattern Party DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Basics 3D EF, Rhinestone, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Shawn is headed out fishing this morning and I am going to finish up some laundry and go to my stamp table and play some more. They are saying we are in for some thunderstorms later today so let's hope they don't get too bad. It sure would be nice if a cool down was coming. I really am not a fan of the AC because it just messes with my sinuses but when it's this muggy out you cannot go without it.

Handmade Hugs

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

This morning we woke up to a bit cooler temps compared to what we have been dealing with since the end of June. Almost feels refreshing with a light breeze coming from the north. I turned the AC off and opened a few windows and it feels so nice.

Thursday I had a chance to play at my stamp table and pulled out some new stamps that I have had but did not get the chance to use them. I do many cards for Audrey each month and when I order stamps I always keep her in mind and what she would request. Lately she has just been asking for plain cards with no saying, no ribbon and no fun embellishments and I find this a challenge. Stampin Up gives us so many amazing stamps and lately I don't feel like I get to ink many of them up because she requests plain cards. So I am still trying to use them for myself or in my Stamp Day w Friends get togethers. The card I am sharing today is one that I will use or put on my card rack for sale. It uses the Handmade Hugs set from the 2023-2024 Stampin Up! Annual Catalog. It has a coordinating Handmade Tag Punch that came out in the 2022 Holiday Catalog. I also used the new Berry Harvest background stamp and the Petal Park Bundle.

My monochromatic card uses Berry Burst cardstock & ink. This use to be a In Color that retired but recently came back into our color spectrum. I think I love it more now than I did when it was an In Color! It was fun to sit and sit with all these new stamps and just let the creativity roll. I love the Berry Harvest background stamp as it adds alittle something to my cardbase. The Berry Burst Gingham DSP is also so pretty! I was happy to finally be able to use it. The Handmade Hugs set is delightful with some great sentiments which I love! And finally the Petal Park Bundle does not disappoint. Those flowers and leaves stamp so nicely and the coordinating Petal Park Builder Punch makes it easy for quick results! I love how this card turned out!

Card Details:

Stamps: Handmade Hugs, Petal Park, Berry Harvest Background
Ink: Berry Burst, Granny Apple Green
Cardstock: Berry Burst, Basic White, Glorious Gingham DSP
Accessories: Handmade Tag Punch, Stylish Shapes Dies, Petal Park Builder Punch, Adhesive Backed Seasonal Sequins (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Today we don't have much planned so I am going to try to get to my stamp table to play. I recently purchased a Christmas Stamp A Stack that I started yesterday but did not get very far with it, I also have lots of laundry to get started so i'm trying to keep it a low keyed day! Shawn always seems to have other plans though! LOL

Hopefully stamping is included! LOL
