Anniversary Set

Hello & Happy Monday!

Can you believe this is the last day of September??

Today I have a set of Anniversary cards to share that my customer requested.
I kept these very simple as life is busy, busy, busy!

She loved this paper and asked if I had any left to make these for her.
I haven't used much of this Magnolia Lane DSP and will have to try to use it more often.
It sure is pretty!

Card Details:

Stamps: Beautiful Bouquet
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Whisper White, Magnolia Lane DSP
Accessories: Labels Framelits (retired), Petal Pink Organdy Ribbon, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Nothing is popped up on these so they should be mail friendly for my customer since she mails out LOTS & LOTS of cards each week!

My thoughts today...

I'm sad that this year is flying by so quickly!
While i'm loving the cool Fall air, i'm not at all looking forward to winter weather!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Halloween Sweet Centers

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

Hope your having a good weekend!
Yesterday was busy, busy, busy!
Today we are going to go check out an Antique Store then back home to watch football.
It's looking to be a nice day and thankfully not as hot & humid as yesterday!

I have another Halloween sweet treat for you today!
This is made using the Sweet Centers stamp set and Sweet Treat Cups from 2009.
They made their debut in the Stampin Up Holiday Mini Catalog in 2009.
I have used these quite a bit over the years and recently found 2 more packs of the Sweet Treat Cups.

This year M&M finally came back out with Halloween colored candies!
It has been a long time coming as I have been looking for several years for them!
I found a container of them at Sam's Club and did not think twice about buying them! LOL
I paired up the green colored ones to last year's Lemon Lime Twist. It was a perfect match!
I stamped my image with the Lemon Lime Twist and layered it onto the same colored cardstock. But before I did that, I made a trap door in the back so if you pull the part where the orange rhinestone is, it will reveal the candies. I used the 1 3/4 inch circle punch to make my opening to put the Sweet Treat Cup in and attached that with glue dots. The sentiment comes from the retired Teeny Tiny Wishes set.
That was stamped with Tangerine Tango and punched out with the Classic Label Punch. Lastly, I added a Gorgeous Grape Striped Ribbon Bow with a hot glue gun and called these done.

Project Details:

Stamps: Sweet Centers (retired), Teeny Tiny Wishes (retired)
Ink: Lemon Lime Twist (retired), Tangerine Tango (retired)
Cardstock: Lemon Lime Twist (retired), Whisper White
Accessories: Sweet Treat Cups, 1 3/4 Circle Punch, Round Tab Punch (retired), Classic Label Punch, Rhinestones, Gorgeous Grape Striped Ribbon, Hot Glue Gun, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I am beyond happy that M&M finally brought back the Halloween colored M&M's!!!
I also made M&M Sticks, too, that I will share soon.
They are SO colorful......just makes me smile!

Harvest Hello

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Hope your weekend is going well so far!

Today's post will be short & sweet since I have a busy day ahead,
I got my customer's card order delivered last night and she loved all the cards!
I always take her cards to her in a gift bag. I started decorating her bags as well.
I used the Harvest Hello stamp set and coordinating Apple Builder Punch to create a cute little tag!

I stamped 4 apples on Real Red cardstock then punched them out.
I scored them directly down the middle with my Simply Score Board and gave them a nice crease with the bone folder. I glued them back to back and attached them to my tag with Dimensionals.
I added the stem & leaf last. My tag was stamped with the apple seeds before I adhered the apple on.
My sentiment comes from the same set and was diecut with the Oval Layering Framelits!

Project Details:

Stamps: Harvest Hello
Ink: Real Red, Soft Suede, Old Olive
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Real Red, Old Olive, Soft Suede, Whisper White
Accessories: Apple Builder Punch, Delightful Day Tag Topper Punch, Oval Layering Framelits, Crumb Cake Nature's Twine, Red Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

So much fun and what a way to present a package to someone!
My card lady loved it!
This is one of the cutest bundles!
I can't wait to use it more!

My thoughts today...

They are calling for a hot & humid day w/ temps around 90!
My air conditioning is back on but it will be short lived....I hope!

That's all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have yourself a wonderful (& cool) day!

Today I have a pack of pretty cards to share that were made for my customer order.
She asked for sunflowers...

My sunflowers are a retired set called Serene Sunflowers.
I love this set and wanted to give it some more inky love!
I added some rhinestones for a pop of sparkle. My customer loves bling!

Ink: Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, Old Olive

Peppermint Patties

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Yesterday was a very productive day!
I have my card order almost wrapped up!

Today I am sharing another Halloween Treat that I made.
Take a look...

I had 2 bags of York Peppermint Patties (Halloween ones) and I made 18 of these.
I simply took Highland Heather cardstock and wrapped it around 2 Peppermint Patties and adhered it shut. The front has a small piece of last year's DSP on it. My little ghost is from the Home Sweet Home Bundle that is retired. The saying comes from the retired Jar of Haunts.

Project Details:

Stamps: Home Sweet Home (retired), Jar of Haunts (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Highland Heather
Cardstock: Highland Heather, Basic Black, Whisper White, Bubble & Toil DSP (retired)
Accessories: Home Sweet Home Thinlits, Circle Layering Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I kept these simple & easy since my customers like just a little treat to give.
I really like these as I love Peppermint Patties!

My thoughts today...

I love Halloween!

So did anyone stay up last night to watch the Masked Singer?
Love that show but only managed to watch the first half of it.
Any guesses as to who might be behind the masks?
Such a fun show! So glad it's back on!

That's all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Beautiful Friendship

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your week is going smoothly!
Yesterday our weather was absolutely perfect!
Almost a tad chilly but I am not complaining!
Kelsey came over and helped Shawn with taking Gigi & Bailee to their Vet appointments.
What should have taken an hour at most ended up being 2 hours, not sure why.
All went well though and both are up to date on vaccines.
Gigi will be returning in November for a teeth cleaning. This has been a long time coming!
A bad experience with Fluffy years ago has made Shawn drag his feet with getting Gigi's done but I told him it will improve her quality of life and help her feel better PLUS this is a different Vet than who did Fluffy's. I'm glad he scheduled her for it!

So today is going to be a very busy day!!!
Mr Aungst has to travel to Westminster MD to pick up a part sometime this morning then go to work.
He is waiting on the call that it is ready for pickup.
His phone rang a bunch of times during the night so I know he's tired.
It will be early to bed tonight!

I am off to get my day started and work on that big card order.
Yesterday I did not get much accomplished as I had another headache.
It's the change in the weather and it's driving my sinuses crazy.
I hope today is a better day!

The card I have to share today was made for my customers order.
She loves the flowers from the Beautiful Friendship set but asked if I could do them in Fall colors.
And no saying. I gave it a shot...

The no saying cards drive me crazy to make but this set came out nicely for a change.
My customer likes to use these for any occasion that would come up.
One things for sure, she loves her cards!

Card Details:

Stamps: Beautiful Friendship
Ink: So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Whisper White
Accessories: Layered Leaves EF, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I cased myself on these but changed up the colors.
I made a mask on the top of the main bundle of flowers so I could stamp the Pumpkin flowers and make them look like the were growing behind the saffron flowers.
This is a fun and easy set to use and I think she will be happy with them!

I so agree!!

Happy Birthday Cards

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Another busy day here!
My girls go to the Vet this evening for check ups. Kelsey will be going with Shawn since he can't handle both dogs at once. I do not do the Vets anymore. My anxiety goes thru the roof and I always think the worst so I just stay home and ask lots of question when they get home.

Yesterday I spent most of my day working on that card order.
I think I have about 10 packs of cards to make so I will be spending most of my week at my stamp table. She asked for some Fall birthday cards. I went searching thru papers and found a small pad from Recollections. I'm sure it was from moons ago!

Isn't that paper pretty?
I am surprised I have never seen it before more less used it!
I especially love that blue gingham print!

Card Details:

Stamps: Paper Pumpkin Kit (retired)
Ink: Marina Mist (retired)
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Marina Mist (retired), Whisper White, Recollections Paper Pad
Accessories: Stitched Nested Dies, Marina Mist 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Glue dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I can see more cards coming using this paper pad.
The prints are so pretty!

Happy Autumn!

Good Morning & Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Saturday night I popped out to our local Hobby Lobby to grab a few things then hit up the grocery store. It was a summer like weekend with heat & humidity.
Yep, you guessed it, my AC is back on!

Yesterday we watched football and our team lost to the KC Chiefs.
They are a good team although we did not lose to them by much.
I sat and crafted while the game was on but Shawn was yelling at the tv almost the entire game.
Win some, lose some....that is just the way the cookie crumbles!

Today is the 1st day of Autumn! Woohoo!
I have a pack of cards to share that I made for my customer that has a Fall feel to them...

These used retired products such as the Painted Autumn DSP and the Wishing You Well stamp set.
My sentiment comes from Amuse.
Such pretty Fall colors that she is sure to love!

Card Details:

Stamps: Wishing You Well (retired), Sentiment from Amuse
Ink: Cajun Craze
Cardstock: Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Very Vanilla, Copper Foil Paper, Painted Autumn DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Square Layering Framelits, Layering Leaves EF, Classic Label Punch, Vanilla/Copper Trimmed Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I just got a huge card order from her so I will be busy working on that this week!
Just hope this headache goes away soon...
Sinus related, i'm sure!

Halloween Candy Bags

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your enjoying your weekend!
It's football day again!
Here at the Aungst Pad we love when this time of the year comes around!

Today I am going to start sharing some of my Halloween Treats.
We are just a bit over a month away from Boo Day.
I got everything done, treats, cards & my projects for my Halloween Stamp Evening w Friends!

I've mentioned in another post that i'm not too keen on this year's Stampin Up! Halloween DSP.
With all the pretty colors like Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape & Highland Heather, there are none of those colors in it. I would be tickled green if we had some cool patterns in those colors. This paper seems dark & gray.
Anyways, I used this sheet with the spider web on it and followed thru with the color scheme on my tag. The sentiment & bats are from the To Every Season stamp set that has 4 coordinating mini punches. I added a pop of color with the Gorgeous Grape Striped Ribbon.

Project Details:

Stamps: To Every Season
Ink: Basic Gray
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic Gray, Monster Bash DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, 3x6 Gusseted Cello Bags, Rhinestones, Gorgeous Grape Striped Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My one customer loves these bags filled with candy.
She usually buys all that I make and this year I scaled it back a bit and only made 4.
If she needs more I can always make them...

My thoughts today...

This is usually Shawn cheering on his team!
Sometimes he gets pretty loud!

Thanks for stopping by & enjoy your Sunday, no matter how you spend it!

Sketch Challenge 767

Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

Hope your weekend is going well so far!

This week I spotted the Sketch Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers and decided to give it a try!
It has been many years since I played along with their challenges so I felt a little rusty.
I hope I remember how to upload my card to their gallery! LOL

This is this week's sketch and my card samples...

My day started off yesterday with a spider in the shower that I can say was washed down the drain since he gave me quite a scare! I'm not one bothered by spiders but when it invades my personal space...yep, he suffered the consequences!

The spider on my card is really cute and diecuts out just perfectly as did my WICKED diecut!
I paired it up with some of last years DSP called Bubble & Toil. I still have 2 full sheets and a bunch of scraps left so this design used a bit of it up.
I added a purple circle clip to my sentiment panel that has been in my stash for along time.
I tied a small piece of the Black Organdy Glittered Ribbon on it.
Then I found some purple rhinestones in my bag of Rhinestones, Pearls and other embellishments.
I had to use them as they matched my Gorgeous Grape perfectly!
This is all flat for easier mailing. My little spider is popped up with a mini dimensional though but it should not affect mailing.

Card Details:

Stamps: Wonderfully Wicked
Ink: Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Basic Black, Whisper White, Bubble & Toil DSP (retired)
Accessories: Wicked Dies, Circle Clip, Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon, Purple Rhinestones, Mini Dimensional, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm happy with the outcome of this even though my DSP looks very busy.
Each piece was cut at 7/8 x 4 1/4. Some were a bit longer that I had to trim off.
Was fun and a great way to use up some of those scrap pieces!

My thoughts today...

Yesterday, my dear friend, Deb came and picked me up!
We headed out for some craft therapy!
We browsed Micheal's then AC Moore and just had the best time!
Best Friend therapy is always a must have!!!
Thank You, Deb!!!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great Saturday!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #521

Hello & Happy Friday!

So glad the weekend is here!
Our weather here in south central PA has been absolutely wonderful!
Sunshine & 70's is my favorite! No AC or heat needed!

Today I have a card to share made using this week's sketch from over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
I love their sketches and was happy that I had the time this week to play along!

I made this card 2 days ago and finally got some pictures of it.
I love the Perfectly Plaid Suite from the Stampin Up Holiday Mini Catalog!
Plaid paper is my go to for many of things and it just so happens that I had a nice piece of it to create this card. My tree is embossed with the Stylish Scroll EF which is part of the Monster Bash Suite.
I thought it looked great on my tree!

Card Details:

Stamps: Perfectly Plaid
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Shaded Spruce, Gold Foil Paper, Wrapped in Plaid DSP
Accessories: Pine Tree Punch, Stylish Scroll EF, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Gold Enamel Stars (retired), Shaded Spruce Metallic Ribbon (retired), Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

A fun & easy sketch!
Stop over and check them out! Tuesday Morning Sketches
They always have great sketches!

JOY

Hello & Happy Thursday!

I'm coming to you really late today since I got caught up in stamping my day away!
I made this pack of Christmas cards using up more of that Festive Finery DSP from 2005!

The bow is heat embossed with Silver EP and I added a retired Silver Enamel Dot to it.
I really love this pack I guess because I love Navy & Silver for holiday colors.
My sentiment comes from a new hostess set called Greatest Part of Christmas.
It has so many nice sentiment in.
I paired this up with an old set called JOY.
I made a set of cards earlier this year using this beautiful ornament and some burgundy DSP.

Card Details:

Stamps: JOY (retired), Greatest Part of Christmas (hostess)
Ink: Night of Navy, Versamark
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Night of Navy, Whisper White, Silver Foil Paper, Festive Finery DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Nested Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Heat Gun, Silver EP, Silver Metallic Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have 2 full sheets of this paper left so I am getting it used it!
But, that being said, I still have LOTS more!
