Easter Bunny Cards

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

We're moving thru the week pretty quickly!

Today I have a set of Easter cards to share with you that I made using some old stash. I was going thru some old papers the other day and found a pack of 12x12 papers from Making Memories. Actually it was a scrapbook kit. I cut the papers down and made a set of cards with it. I also paired it with an old Lockhart Bunny stamp that's been in my stash since 2008. To be honest, I'm not even sure if Lockhart Stamps is still in business these days but I have a whole drawer full of stamps that I need to dust off and use.

Card Details:

Stamps: Lockhart Bunny, Teeny Tiny Wishes (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends- Pretty in Pink, So Saffron (retired), Copic Markers BG 10 & BG 11
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Soft Sky (retired), Basic White, Making Memories ( Garden Party)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Countryside Corners Dies, Duet Banner Punch (retired), Soft Sky Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Pretty in Pink Resin Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This paper is so pretty and how perfect for spring!
I had a wonderful time playing with the old goodies from my stash. I am planning on doing more of that in the days to come!
Hope you enjoyed!

Happy Cupcake Day

 Hello & Happy Monday, Friends!

Hope you had a nice relaxing weekend!
I have a cute card to share today that I used a variety of different products on.
Take a look...

Card Details:

Stamps: Candle Cupcake-Stampendous, Lockhart Stamp Co. Sentiment
Ink: Memento Black, Wild Wasabi (retired), Stampin Blends- Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink, Copic YG63
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Peach Pie, Basic White, Deja View- Alpha Blocks (Big Dots & Stripes)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Taylor Made Tags Dies (retired), Peach Pie Ribbon, Peach Pie In Color Shimmer Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Over the weekend I didn't do too much as I was so fatigued. Saturday, I went to my stamp table and played around a little bit. I pulled out my Thirty One bin that I house my non Stampin Up patterned papers in. I keep everything in a folder marked with the manufacturer name so I know. The first folder was Deja View. I only had a few sheets in there that I pulled out and made some cards with. The patterned paper on the cupcake card I still have a few pieces left that I may try to use up later this week. Then I moved over to my Iris carts and took out a drawer that has a variety of wood mounted stamps in. I pulled out the Stampendous Candle Cupcake and a Lockhart saying. These 2 brands were big back in the early 2000's. I'm not sure if either are still around today but I found it fun to pull those stamps out and ink them up again!

Do you ever find yourself trying to use up the older supplies that is in our stashes?
Sometimes it's such a surprise as to what we find! LOL
It was a good day, for sure!

Anyways, it's Day #4 of sharing my Christmas treats and today's treat is a yummy one!
Everyone loves Kit Kats and when I found these Santa shaped Kit Kats at Sam's I did not even think twice on buying them! Ryan especially loves Kit Kats and steals them from the candy bowl all the time! Check these out...

Rustic Crate Birthday Card

 Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

It's really foggy here in Red Lion this morning with more rain expected today.
It's been a nice rain, nothing heavy so that is good for the ground. It's been horrible to see what the people that were in the path of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Helene have been going thru. The flooding has been devastating to say the least. They are saying a few more days of showers here and then the sun will finally emerge and give us some nice Fall days.

Today I have a card to share that Audrey requested. She has 2 special birthdays coming soon for her daughter and her daughter in law. I made this one using the Rustic Crate set that came out in last years 2023 Holiday Catalog. It is still available in the 2024-2025 Annual Stampin Up Catalog. I got this bundle last year and hardly touched it so i'm glad to be able to show it some love now!

Card Details:

Stamps: Rustic Crate, Framed Florets (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Pumpkin Pie, Stampin Blends-Daffodil Delight, Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie, YG67 Copic Marker
Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, To Market DSP
Accessories: Rustic Crate Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Pecan Pie Enamel Dots, Wink of Stella, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I just love that pretty Fall image which was fun to color, too!

I was hoping to get more of her card order finished today but Kelsey & Shady are coming over to spend the day instead. She requested Corned Beef & Cabbage for supper which is an easy meal to whip up. Football doesn't start until 8pm tonight. Not sure if we'll see much of it as we are usually in bed by 8:30. I'm hoping to get a walk in this afternoon since we've not walked since Friday morning. Guess the weather will determine that! LOL

Jar of Haunts

 Hello & Happy Monday, Everyone!

I hope you had a nice weekend!
Yesterday was another rain day but that was fine. We took Kelsey out to do some shopping in the morning then back home in time to watch football which our Baltimore Ravens lost. Today is back to the grind....Shawn back to work and i'm headed to my stamp table to finish up my 31 days of Halloween card sets! I cannot believe the amount of DSP that I have used up on all these card sets! It just makes me smile! I may just do the same thing for Thanksgiving & Christmas LOL if I have enough supplies!
So I have another set of Halloween cards to share with you using a retired set called Jar of Haunts. It's a cute set that uses the retired Everyday Jar Framelits to diecut the jars out. I was able to use them on my Mummy Jar....take a look!

I think this set is just the cutest with that Mummy Jar and different colors that I pulled out of the paper. The Cobwebs 3D EF also plays a big part on this card with those cool spider webs. This set was so fun and I am having the best time pulling out the retired sets and breathing new life into them again!

Card Details:

Stamps: Jar of Haunts (retired-2016)
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Marker (W3)

Tricky Treats from 2001

 Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

It's going to be a stamping day for me!
Yesterday I tried to get to my stamp table for a bit in the afternoon but I ended up just cleaning off my stamp table and then I knocked a whole bin of stamp sets on the floor which I had to clean up. Before much longer it was supper time. I also had a visit from my dear friend, Deb, yesterday! It's always so good to see her so that was a plus!

Anyways, I have another set of cards to share today...this one uses a set from 2001 from Stampin Up! called Tricky Treats. It's a fun set that I paired with some retired Halloween Night DSP from 2006.

This stamp set has a witch, bat & a ghost image in.
The coloring wasn't too bad on this small image.
The inside says "have some spooky fun" and that is from the Spooky Fun set that is retired.

Card Details:

Stamps: Tricky Treats (2001-retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends-Smoky Slate, Ivory, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Copic Marker BV29
Cardstock: Vintage Violet (In Color 2006-retired), Basic White, Old Olive, Halloween Night DSP (2006-retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Scalloped Contour Dies, Vintage Violet Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon (2006 In Color-retired), Halloween Night Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

So fun & festive for spooky season and the best part....I loved using the retired stuff!
I had just enough of this DSP to make these cards.

More Baby Cards!!

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Hope your week is going well!
The last 2 days have been very gloomy, rainy & foggy.
We had rain come thru overnight with a cold front.
It might be cold & windy out now but atleast we will see the sun!

I've been busy doing some painting.
Actually my entire house is going to get repainted over the next several months.
Yesterday I got my food closet redone and reorganized.
Today I am going to work on my living room as long as I have enough paint.

Today I have 2 baby cards to share that I whipped up recently.
Again, I used A New Little Someone stamp set and a mix of retired papers.

That bunny has got to be the cutest to use on baby cards!
I paired this one up with some Slumber Party DSP from along time ago!
It also uses Pretty in Pink which has always been the nicest color pink Stampin Up has ever had!

Card Details:

Stamps: A New Little Someone (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Pretty in Pink (retired), Whisper White, Slumber Party DSP (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Be Mine Stitched Framelits, Rhinestones, Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Here is the card for a baby boy...

This card is pretty much the same as above except the colors are different.

Card Details:

Stamps: A New Little Someone (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Brocade Blue, Whisper White, Slumber Party DSP (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Be Mine Stitched Framelits, Rhinestones, Brocade Blue Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

It's been great fun making all these baby cards in recent weeks just to fill up my baby card slot on the card rack! Sometime I find much enjoyment in sitting down and pulling out my stash and having fun! It also love mixing the old stuff with the new!

My thoughts today...

We've not had much of a cold snowy winter this season which does not make me mad.
After 50 & 60 degrees this week, winter is making it's presents known!
Hang on to your hat and stay warm!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Pickles, Anyone?

Hello & Happy Thursday!

It was so nice yesterday having some nice bright sunshine for a change!
I got alot accomplished!
I have to start cleaning out the bathroom and moving things downstairs to the bathroom.
We will also be moving Ryan down there until the bathroom renovation is done.
There is no way Shawn or I could carry him up & down the steps every time he needs to go to the potty or shower. We decided to just move his bed and all his things down there for the meantime.
I told him I will be down there everyday stamping so he won't be alone.

How familiar are you with Stampin Up! products?
I came into the stamping scene in 2001 when my neighbor & BFF invited me to a workshop.
I have lots & lots of DSP since then.
Today I pulled out a pack from 2004 called Pickles and made some cards with it!

Do any of you remember this paper?
I have ALOT of the older SU papers in my stash.
Most of them are singled sided not like the double sided prints we have today.
I loved using this!
I paired up my Pickles DSP with a newer stamp set called A Piece of Cake.
It coordinates with the Cake Builder Punch.
I have had this set since last February and I am just now inking it up!

Card Details:

Stamps: Piece of Cake
Ink: Memento Black, Eggplant Envy (retired), Copic Markers
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, More Mustard (retired), Eggplant Envy (retired), Whisper White, Pickles DSP (retired)
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Cake Builder Punch, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made these for my card lady because she said to use whatever I have in my stash.
I'm not sure she realizes just HOW MUCH is in my stash!! LOL

I pulled out my Eggplant Envy ink pad from the early 2000's.
It's a flip top one and surprisingly I did not have to re-ink it!
That just made me smile!

My thoughts today...

Haha!
I'm pretty sure my dear sweet hubby knows how much I have invested in my stamp room!
How bout you?

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

The Paper Players Challenge 456

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Yesterday was a muggy day until the rain came thru!
It got instantly cooler which is perfect for sleeping at night with the windows open!

I spent most of my day at my stamp table working ahead on a list of treats that I want to make for upcoming holidays. Earlier this year I stopped making them because my hands were hurting. I thought maybe I was getting the start of Psoriatic Arthritis but they are not swelling, just achy.
Going to give it another try and see how it goes. I'm trying to do alittle bit at a time and not stressing over doing it all at once.

I did work on another Halloween card using that adorable Candy Corn Die that my friend sent me.
I just wasn't ready to put it away and decided to use it for the Paper Players Challenge this week!

So much fun!

Card Details:

Stamps: A Halloween Hello (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, Motley Monsters DSP (retired)
Accessories: Candy Corn Die, Circle Layering Framelits, Tangerine Tango/White Rope, Tangerine Tango Enamel Dots, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
