July 4th Candy Crates

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Another hot & humid day is on tap here in PA.
I sure wish we were getting another cool down but by the looks of the weather for next week...nope. I guess it is summer, right?

Today I am sharing a cool July 4th treat that I whipped up.

I pulled out my retired Wood Woods stamp set and stamped off all those stars in Real Red & Pacific Point. Then I diecut them out using the Wood Crates Framelits that are also retired. The crate itself also is with the Wood Crates Framelits.
I filled each crate with white shred paper and a cello bag filled with a Rice Krispy Treat and a couple Dove Milk Chocolates! That was about all I could find in the stores for July 4th. I did not even see the Red, White & Blue M&M's except at Sam's Club but I did not need a huge container like that!

Then I added the tag that was diecut from the Tailor Made Tags Dies.
I added my sentiment which is from Papertreyink and a diecut star to each tag.
I love making candy treats for holidays when I have the time.
These were alittle time consuming but I love how they turned out!

Project Details:

Stamps: Wood Words (retired), Papertreyink (sentiment)
Ink: Real Red, Pacific Point
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White
Accessories: Tailor Made Tags Dies, Wood Crate Framelits, Real Red Satin Ribbon (retired), Cello Bags, Red Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Patriotic Card Set

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

My Tuesday is off to a slow start!
I slept in this morning and slowly getting my day started!

I have a set of cards to share that I made last week for a card order.
They asked for something Patriotic and no saying and you all know how I struggle with no saying cards.

I looked all over for some inspiration but everything had a saying on so I looked thru tons of paper and found this perfect piece from American Crafts.
The polka dot paper is the backside of the stars & stripes.
I pulled out the God Bless America stamp that Stampin Up! brought out in 2001 and used my Real Red & Night of Navy Stampin Write Markers to color my flag. I left the saying off that is on the stamp.
I added a small rhinestone to the center of the heart on the flag for a bit of sparkle and called this pack done.

Card Details:

Stamps: God Bless America (retired)
Ink: Real Red & Night of Navy Stampin Write Markers
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Real Red, Basic White, American Crafts Paper
Accessories: Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My card lady loved them!

Forever Greenery Notepad

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a nice weekend!
It sure was hot & downright humid here but I stayed in and soaked up the ac most of the time! Saturday, we got out for a quick bike ride and afterwards I did not feel good. I think it was just the heat that got to me.

Today I have a busy day so I am going to make this post short & sweet.

A few weeks ago I had a bunch of time on my hands and was going thru drawers in my stamp room and found a bunch of old tall skinny notepads left over from craft shows. They were all done up in sports papers and such. I tore them apart and redid most of them. The ones that are left I am waiting on holiday items to finish redoing them. Anyways, I pulled out this retired Forever Greenery DSP and made this notepad. This one I really like!

Project Details:

Stamps: Ribbon of Courage (retired)
Ink: Pretty Peacock (retired)
Cardstock: Pretty Peacock (retired), Basic White, Forever Greenery DSP (retired), Gold Laser Cut Specialty Paper (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Greenery EF, Gold Gilded Gems, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Another notepad for in my "For Sale" basket!

In Symmetry Note Pad

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

Today it's to get into the 90's so I am going to be staying in and soaking up the cool air! Hoping to get some stamp time in and maybe a small nap, too!

I have a cute project to share today!
This Note Pad came to me from my upline & friend, Vicki Burdick to congratulate me on my sales in April.

I loved the size of this and that beautiful Hydrangea paper!
Thank You, Vicki! I love it!
So, of course, I had a pack of these notepads in my stash and had to make my own!

I pulled out the In Symmetry stamp set and got to work!
I started with my pack of Sweet Symmetry DSP and started with the colors in my paper. Flirty Flamingo, Bumble Bee and Just Jade are the colors I went with and I was pretty pleased with the outcome!

Project Details:

Stamps: In Symmetry
Ink: Bumble Bee, Just Jade, Flirty Flamingo
Cardstock: Flirty Flamingo, Bumble Bee, Basic White, Sweet Symmetry DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Playful Alphabet Dies, White Baker's Twine, Rhinestones, Foam Adhesive Sheets, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The little pens I have had for a long time!
I think they came from Walmart.
Not sure on the size of the notepads but I will update that once I get to my stamp room later today to measure. They came from the Dollar Tree and i'm not sure if they still carry them or not. You could make these Notepads with any size though.

I enjoyed making this.
Thank You, Vicki, for the pretty gift!

Sailing Away HB

 Hello & Happy Friday!

Yesterday was the perfect 10+ day weather wise!
I heard so many people say that they wish we had this weather all year long!
I could not agree more!
Kelsey & Shady came over to visit yesterday since it was her day off.
I made a Polish Lasagna and a Peach Cobbler for supper which was really good!
I haven't made that in many years!
It was a nice day and Shady loved running around the back yard with Gigi & Bailee.

Today I have a quick card to share that was made with the Sailing Home stamp set!

While I do not own this stamp set and coordinating dies, my friend Deb does and she graciously allowed me to borrow it last year and stamp and diecut all these images out! It's a wonderful set and perfect for masculine cards!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sailing Home
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Basic White, Come Sail Away DSP (retired)
Accessories: Smooth Sailing Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The stamp set & dies are still available but the DSP is not.
I use this entire suite many times for masculine cards at my Stamp Day w Friends get togethers and the girls love it!
I keep saying i'm going to purchase it for myself but by the time I do Stampin Up! will probably retire it! LOL

Our weather here the last 2 days has been pretty fabulous!
Sunshine & 70's are definitely my kind of weather and just makes me happy!
Tomorrow that all will change as they are calling for another heatwave starting over the weekend.

Anyways, today I have another card to share that was made for my last card order.
My card lady has a grandson that is a police officer in Maryland and asked for a birthday card for him.

This Well Suited DSP was perfect for this one!
Sadly it will be retiring soon.

Card Details:

Thinking of You Card Set

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your week is going well so far!
Yesterday we got to a HOT 93 degrees with high humidity which made it feel pretty horrible outside. Storms came thru around supper time which knocked out our electric and our cable/internet. Thankfully, it was back on before we went to bed. Today we are in for some rain that will take the humidity away! YAY!

I have another set of blueberry cards to share today!
These were also requested by my card lady.
She said I made her a gift bag earlier this year with the Berry Delightful DSP and that is why she asked for the paper with the blueberries on!

I left the paper do all the work on these!

Card Details:

Stamps: Happy Thoughts
Ink: Pacific Point
Cardstock: Pacific Point, Basic White, Berry Delightful DSP (SAB 21)
Accessories: Tasteful Labels Dies, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My card lady loved them!
I told her that my stash of blueberry paper is just about gone.
Only a few scraps remain.
With what's left I may make some notepads or some Post It Notes!

Blueberry HB Cards

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!

Phew, what a hot & muggy weekend!
I hope you enjoyed yours!
We rode bikes early yesterday which was still cool out but till we got home it was starting to heat up and fast!
Today Shawn is back to work and it's to get in the mid 90's so I know there will not be any bike riding this evening. Calling for storms as well.

Today I have a set of cards to share that I made last week for my card lady.
She wanted the blueberry paper from SaleABration.
This is what I made for her...

I kept this paper to use for the summer months when blueberries are is season and i'm glad I did since my card lady asked for 2 different packs of cards using it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Berry Blessings (SAB), Punch Party (SAB-Hostess)
Ink: Pacific Point, Garden Green
Cardstock: Pacific Point, Garden Green, Basic White, Berry Delightful DSP (SAB)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These were so fun to make and perfect for this time of year!

Tidings of Christmas Notepad

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your all staying cool on this hot, muggy weekend!
Yesterday we took the bikes out around supper time for a quick ride.
It was cloudy and spritzing rain but thankfully no storms.
This morning we are going to head out before it gets too hot.
So far it's a nice cool morning but i'm sure that will change quickly once the sun starts to come up!

I have a cute little notepad to share this morning.
I found a bunch of these tall skinny notepads in a box that were leftover from when I did craft shows. They were all decorated with sports papers like soccer, baseball & football. I tore them apart and redid them with current papers.
This one uses the new Tidings of Christmas DSP from the Annual Stampin Up Catalog!

I also paired it up with the Perfectly Plaid stamp set and a sentiment from a soon to be retired Lots of Heart stamp set from the 2021 January- June Mini Catalog.
I just love the colors and prints in this new package of 6x6 Designer Series Paper!

Project Details:

Stamps: Perfectly Plaid, Lots of Heart
Ink: Evening Evergreen
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Cherry Cobbler, Basic White, Tidings of Christmas DSP
Accessories: Pine Tree Punch, Winter Snow EF (retired), Tasteful Labels Dies, Gold Enamel Stars (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made a shelf in my stamp room that I am going to display items on for sale.
These tall skinny notepads already made a spot there in a cute basket.
I will share the other notepads soon.

Each notepad comes with an RSVP pen that I placed a small piece of DSP in each barrel to match the notepad. Miss Emily tells me that these pens are her favorite!

Congratulations Grad!

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

The weekend is starting to warm back up!
I think I will hibernate today and maybe do some stamping.
Went for a bike ride yesterday afternoon which absolutely tuckered me out and at that point it was already starting to get hot & muggy.
This evening we are planning on another bike ride as long as it does not storm and my back isn't bothering me.
Do you have anything fun planned this weekend?

Today I am sharing a Graduation card that I made for my card lady's recent order.
I don't make many Graduation cards anymore so I was happy to create this one for her...

Blue & Gold are the school colors so I used Misty Moonlight & Bumble Bee cardstocks & DSP.

Card Details:

Stamps: Blue Ribbon (retired)
Ink: Misty Moonlight
Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Bumble Bee, Basic White, Misty Moonlight & Bumble Bee DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch, Circle Layering Framelits, Misty Moonlight Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multi Purpose Liquid Glue

Always fun to pull out those older stamps and make something new with it!
Sometimes I think I get more joy out of using the older stuff than I do the newer things!

That bike looks just like mine!
Pink and it has a basket on it!

Thanks for stopping by & enjoy your day no matter what you do!
