Snowflakes Card

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

This morning we woke up to rain and freezing rain.
Everything outside is covered with a thin coat of ice which is pretty to look at and i'm hoping we don't lose power from it!
Fingers crossed!

Today I have a snowflake card to share with you!
This is the 4th Christmas card the stamp girls made.
Miss Emily liked this one as well. She said it was the colors!

Anyone have any guesses as to what color blue that is?

The patterned paper I picked up at L&L Stamps sometime in the last year and since I have been on a roll to use what's in my stash, this was the card I designed around the paper!
That beautiful white snowflake is actually velvet paper that Stampin Up brought out last year with it's Snow Is Glistening Suite. It did not last long and sold out in no time. I diecut it with the Snowfall Thinlits dies.

Card Details:

Stamps: Itty Bitty Christmas
Ink: Buckaroo Blue (retired)
Cardstock: Buckaroo Blue (retired), Whisper White, White Velvet Paper (retired), Kaisercraft Paper Chilly/Frosted Collection
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Tim Holtz Snowflake EF, Classic Label Punch, Snowfall Thinlits (retired), Rhinestones, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

So, did you guess Buckaroo Blue?
It was one of the first colors to come out in the then NEW In Colors in 2007!
Can you believe that color is 12 years old!!?
I had to give my ink pad a good re-inking and then it stamped nicely!

I would have to say that O' Holy Night is my favorite!
But I really do love them all!!

Thanks for stopping by & have yourself a great day!

Sweet & Simple Snowman Card

Hello & Happy Monday!

It's a snow day here!
My hubby was up very early this morning to head to work before the weather got bad.
Most of the plant has off today except for him & his mechanics because they are doing a big project and the power will be off awhile. I just hope he makes it home alright later this evening.

I am feeling a bit better everyday!
Who knew an infection like this could knock you down so fast!
I slept so much the last few days and haven't done much of anything.
Today is my cleaning day so we will see how much I get done.

I've got a cute Christmas card to share today that the stamp girls made last week.
This one was everyone's favorite!

This is the stamp set we used....definitely an oldie but a goodie!
I got it off Ebay several years ago and I think it's the first time I inked it up!

I actually made this card designed around that pretty Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon!
It's gorgeous and ties a nice bow!
Everything on this card is retired except the ribbon and cardstock.
I love using the older stuff and giving it new life again!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweet & Simple Salutations (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Seaside Spray & Pumpkin Pie Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Seaside Spray, Whisper White
Accessories: Winter Wonder EF (retired), Circle Layering Framelits, Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon, Glue Dots, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Stamperatus, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I did not take a picture of the inside but we used a saying from the A Wish For Everything stamp set and used the Stamparatus for perfect placement!
The girls are really getting the hang of using it!

Christmas Greetings

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Another rainy dreary day here.
It kinda goes along with how I have been feeling.
Been dealing with a Urinary Tract Infection the last 2 days.
Antibiotics have been started and drinking lots of water.
Yesterday I sat with my heating pad on to help soothe it and in between I sat at the kitchen table and worked on that Christmas puzzle. I stayed up till after midnight last nite to finish it up!
I have one more Christmas puzzle I might pull out later today.
Here is a picture of it. It was a bit of a toughie since the outside edge are not square or rectangle shaped.

I picked this puzzle up at Goodwill last week thinking it would be an easy one since it was only 300 pieces. Even Shawn tried helping and walked away.

So today I have another Christmas card to share with you that the stamp girls made last Saturday!
Hard to believe it's been a week already!

This one is so pretty with all those pops of Copper Foil Paper throughout the DSP and the Copper ornament. We used the Stamperatus for all the stamping on this card which made it SO much easier!

Card Details:

Stamps: Greatest Part of Christmas (hostess)
Ink: Pretty Peacock
Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Very Vanilla, Copper Foil Paper, Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP
Accessories: Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack, Stylish Scrolls EF, Brightly Gleaming Copper Elements, Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Stampartus, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

We all enjoyed making this one and it went rather fast with the Stamparatus doing most of the work!

Christmas Pines

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your week is going well!
This morning we are waking up to snow!
Only calling for an inch or two....just enough to create a mess.
It also got really cold again. Yesterday was high 50's, today it's not to get above freezing!
Burrr, Stay warm!

Today I am sharing a quick card that my stamp girls made on Saturday.

The paper is from 2018 called Dashing Along.
It was a promotional paper that I earned but those prints were out before in a small paper pad a few years ago.
I cut up strips of 3/4 x 3 and we layered them on to a piece of cardstock then trimmed it to make the ends even. I really love the look of that and it also helps to use up those small scraps!
My sentiment comes from the retired Christmas Pines set.

Card Details:

Stamps: Christmas Pines (retired)
Ink: Garden Green
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Gold Glimmer Paper, Dashing Along DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes, Circle Layering Framelits, Pretty Pines Thinlits (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My girls did beautifully putting this together!
They stamped a Garden Green Pine on the inside and added a nice saying to finish it up!
So fun and so festive!

My thoughts today...

Today I am gonna sit down and get my Christmas cards addressed and ready for the mail!
Christmas is 2 weeks today!
My hubby is on vacation the next few days so if I don't get them done today they won't get done until late next week. Wish me luck!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Holiday Hoopla 2019

Hi again!

I'm back quick to share the pictures from my Stamp Day w Friends from Saturday!
We had the best time!

My stamp girls from left to right....
Miss Emily, Karen, Nan, Deb R., Cinda, and Deb K.!
The last project we made were those adorable snow globes made from the retired Sweet Treat Cups.

Here is a close up...

The stamps were from last year's Stampin Up Holiday Mini Catalog called Candy Cane Season!
And I had just enough leftover Santa's Workshop Specialty DSP left to cover everyone's cups!
Once we were done we filled the cups full of Candy Cane Hershey Kisses and a Ghiradelli Peppermint Bark Snowman! The girls absolutely loved these!
I will say that these are really simple & easy to whip up, too!

Project Details:

Stamps: Candy Cane Season (retired)
Ink: Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Santa's Workshop Specialty DSP (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Poppy Parade Striped Ribbon (retired), Santa's Workshop Enamel Dots (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I got an order for a few more of these!
They will all be with different papers though!
I'll share them soon!
