Happy Birthday Shawn!

I know it's been a few days since I last updated.

Life has certainly been life-ing!

I wanted to share the birthday card I made for Shawn's recent birthday. He loves to go fishing so that is where my mind went when it came down to creating his card. I pulled out lots of retired Stampin Up! products for this and will list them all in the card details below.

Accessories: Square Layering Framelits (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Catch of the Day Thinlits (retired), Earth Tones Shimmer Gems, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Always fun to pull out the old stuff and use it!

Shawn loved the card and had a great birthday!

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I have the last card to share that the girls made on Saturday!

This one is a masculine card. The girls love their masculine cards!!

I pulled out my very first masculine stamp set that I bought back in 2001 called Angler!

I tend to use fishing for many of my masculine cards because are guys all like to fish.

This set was a favorite of mine until a few years ago when the Best Catch set came out. I used the Best Catch set alot in the last few years and felt it was time to showcase the Angler set again! I think I have every fishing set that Stampin Up! has ever brought out but those 2 are my favorite's!

I always try to have a masculine birthday card for my Stamp Day w/ Friends get togethers so the girls have them when they need one!

Birthday Fishes

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

I survived my dentist appointment yesterday!

It actually went really well but I do need to return for some work which I knew.

Tomorrow morning I have an appointment first thing for a cleaning and then some work on a crown. I have also been dealing with a receding gum which there is nothing that can be done to it right now. Down the road I can go to a specialist that will do a skin graft and replace that section of gum. The dentist suspected that I brush too hard and suggested a soft bristle toothbrush. But, for not being the the dentist in 12 years, I had no cavities!

Today I have a busy day!

I need to clean the downstairs for my Stamp Day w/Friends get together on Saturday and then I am making a pot of sausage potato soup for supper. I haven't made that in along time!

The humidity came back during the night so I turned my ac back on this morning. Thunderstorms are to come thru this evening and clear out the muggy weather and give us a beautiful day tomorrow! I am trying to talk my hubby into taking a vacation day tomorrow!

The card I have to share is one I made for my card lady!

She requested this one for her son in law who enjoys fishing.

Accessories: Timber 3D EF, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Stylish Shapes Dies, Rustic Metallic Backed Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I pulled out a mix of old & new items to create this card which was so fun!

I hope my card lady likes it!
