Debbie's Card Class #18

Hello & Happy Friday!

The sun is shining here today but boy is it ever hot & muggy out.
I turned my ac on yesterday simply because it got really stuffy inside.
Poor Gigi looks like sheepdog since groomers have been closed since mid March here in PA.
She was hot and parked herself in front of the fan.
Tomorrow morning the girls will go see the groomer, first time in months!
They both really need the works!
I bathed them twice in recent weeks to help them feel better but nothing will compare to what the groomer will do for them! She is wonderful to my girls!

Today I want to share my project that I made at Debbie's Stamp With Me Class yesterday.
I was pretty stumped on what we were making and very surprised at the outcome!
This is called a Stage Card which I have never heard of much less created one.

It is a pretty cool card with moving pieces.
I am gonna try to recreate this next week one day when I have more time.

Card Details:

Stamps: Butterfly Gala, Daisy Lane
Ink: Pear Pizzazz
Cardstock: Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, Ornate Garden Specialty DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, 1" Circle Punch, Medium Daisy Punch, Tailored Tag Punch, Banner Punch (retired), Gold Faceted Gems, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card also lays flat for mailing but may require some additional postage due to how you would decorate it. Mine will need extra due to the Faceted Gems on my daisies.

This was a really fun online class which I enjoyed!
Thank you, Debbie, for doing this!
Looking forward to the next one!

It's a rainy, dreary day here.
We are getting a nice misty rain after a few days of warm sunshine.
Hopefully it helps the grass and garden!

On a dreary day like today I just have no umph to even go shower.
I am ready for Debbie's card class this afternoon.
Tomorrow I will share what we make. I have no idea what all the cut pieces will be.

I have another set of cards to share that were accidentally deleted last week.
You may remember seeing these made with the Be Mine Stitched Framelits.

Cardstock: Petal Pink, Whisper White, Magnolia Lane DSP
Accessories: Be Mine Stitched Framelits, Petal Pink/Champagne Ribbon, Champagne Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Ornate Garden Card Holder

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your all doing well.

I am chugging along but really haven't gotten the urge to go stamp.
I tried yesterday but nothing came out of it.
Today I spent some time there cutting cardstock for one of Debbie's card classes she is having tomorrow. Then I also got folders ready for the new In Colors that will be coming with the new Stampin Up Annual Catalog that goes live June 3rd!
I'm trying...

I looked at my blog today and realized I deleted a few posts accidentally.
I am going to repost them with just pictures and the items used until I can get back to stamping again.

Card Holder Details:

Stamps: Ornate Style, Itty Bitty Greetings
Ink: Memento Black, Terracotta Tile, Old Olive
Cardstock: Terracotta Tile, Whisper White, Ornate Garden Specialty DSP
Accessories: Be Mine Stitched Framelits, Old Olive Ribbon, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Ink: Old Olive, Terracotta Tile, Versamark
Cardstock: Terracotta Tile, Old Olive, Whisper White, Ornate Garden Specialty DSP

My Dad

My heart is broken.

My Dad passed away Sunday morning but I only found out Monday evening.
My family could not put their feelings aside to contact me to let me say goodbye.
He will forever be in my heart and missed every day for as long as I live.

I love you, Dad!

Delightful Day

Hello & Happy Friday!

The weekend is here and my hubby took a week off work for vacation.
We are going to run to Sam's Club today after his doctor appointment then I have a card order to deliver. By early afternoon more rain is to move in after a beautiful day yesterday!
Then we are going to get a blast of winter. Mother Nature is confused for sure!
We are also going to get started on painting the downstairs this weekend!
I have been asking to do that for the last year or so and it's finally going to happen!
I'm excited about that but I know it's going to kill my hands & back but sometimes we just have to do what we have to do!

So, if you have been following along with me all week you know that I have been pulling out the retiring stamp sets and making cards with them.
Today I am using Delightful Day...
It only came out last June and truthfully it's a great set but not one that I have reached for too much.

This card is loaded with retiring product!
First off, the inks are Blueberry Bushel & Call Me Clover which were In Colors for 2018-2020 and they sadly will be leaving us at the end of the month.
The Call Me Clover ribbon & enamel dots as well.
The paper on this one is from the Noble Peacock Suite and it is a foil print!
Very pretty and this is the first time I have broke the pack of DSP open and now it's retiring, too!

Card Details:

Stamps: Delightful Day
Ink: Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Noble Peacock Foil Sheets, Noble Peacock Specialty DSP
Accessories: Stitched Nested Dies, Detailed Trio Punch (corner), Call Me Clover Grosgrain Ribbon, Call Me Clover Enamel Dots, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope that you enjoyed seeing some cards I made this week with retiring stamps, ink & paper!
All of these stamp sets will not be leaving my collection so you will see them again in the future!

Beautiful Day Butterfly

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Hope your having a good week!

Today I have another card to share made using retiring products.

Beautiful Day is the stamp set that has been in collection for a few years.
It's a fun one with easy to color images.

Also on my card I used the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder which is retiring too.
This is probably one of my most favorite embossing folders!
Sometimes I hate change! LOL

I stamped my butterfly image with Memento Black and then colored with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie & Rich Razzleberry Stampin Blends.
Then on the Rich Razzleberry section I put on a thin coat of Wink of Stella for some sparkle!
I really love the colors, don't you?!

Card Details:

Stamps: Beautiful Day
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White
Accessories: Layered Leaves EF, Rich Razzleberry Enamel Dots (retired), Daffodil Delight Taffeta Ribbon, Wink of Stella, Glue Dots, Dimensionals. Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Stay tuned for tomorrow!
I have one more card to share that uses retiring products!
You won't want to miss it!

A Big Thank You

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

A rainy day is on tap here in Pennsylvania.
I'm not sure if the tree people will be here today or not.
Yesterday they got all the 3 trees taken down and all the branches were mulched up as they went.
They had this neat little contraption that you stand on and drive around that had a set of jaws on the front that picked up all the tree limbs whether they were little or big! Then they took it to the mulcher where it got mulched up in a matter of seconds!
Never seen anything so cool!
Guess that was why there was only 2 people tackling this job!

So as I said, today is another damp & rainy day.
I got another card order I need to start today if I can get motivated.
Me & this dreary weather do not get along!

I also have another retired card to share that I made with a stamp set that I just got called A Big Thank You!
My card lady always orders Thank You cards so this set will be wonderful for that in the future.

This is such a pretty one with that All Dressed Up DSP that will also be retiring the end of this month. I snagged 2 packs of this when the January - June 2020 Mini Catalog came out!
Such beautiful prints on it!
Also retiring is the Stitched Labels Framelits which I am sad about!
I used this under my sentiment in Petal Pink.
I love all the stitching on it!
That teeny tiny stitched heart is also a part of those dies.
As I have said before....I am no longer a SU demo and none of these stamp sets & coordinating dies will not be leaving my craft room!

Card Details:

Stamps: A Big Thank You
Ink: Lovely Lipstick
Cardstock: Lovely lipstick, Petal Pink, Whisper White, All Dressed Up DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Stitched Labels Framelits, Lovely Lipstick Grosgrain Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensional, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

So pleased with how this turned out!
It was a great day at my stamp table yesterday!
I will have more cards to share tomorrow that uses retiring products so stay tuned!

My thoughts today...

To be completely honest, I am over all this rain we've had this winter/spring!
It sure would be nice to have a few weeks of sunshine & 70 degrees!
This picture reminds me of how my backyard is looking.
Sad, I know...

Thanks for taking time out of your day to visit!
Make it a wonderful day even if it is raining!

Abstract Impressions Thank You

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Going to make this a quick post today as the tree company is coming to remove the 3 trees on our property! Yay!

This week I am making cards from stamp sets that will be retiring at the end of this month.
Today I am saying Goodbye to one of my absolute favorites, Abstract Impressions.
This set may be retiring but it won't be leaving my stamp room!

Those roses remind me of an older Stampin Up set called Roses in Winter.
Do you remember it?
Abstract Impressions is loaded with lots of wonderful sentiments that I find myself using alot.
Also retiring on this card is the Tufted EF, that pretty Highland Heather Gingham DSP and that gorgeous Granny Apple Green Textured Ribbon. I am sad about that!

Card Details:

Stamps: Abstract Impressions
Ink: Purple Posy, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green
Cardstock: Highland Heather, Whisper White, Highland Heather DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Tufted EF, Triple Banner Punch, Granny Apple Green Textured Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm always in need of Thank You cards for on my card rack so that is where this beauty is going until it's needed!
Stay tuned to see what I will share tomorrow!

Saying Goodbye to Flourishing Phrases

Hello & Happy Monday!

Yesterday turned out to be a beautiful day!
Last I heard they were calling for rain but that never happened!!
The sun & warm temps were much needed and appreciated!
I made my way down to my stamp table after supper to work on a pack of sympathy cards for my card rack. I pulled out the soon to be retiring Flourishing Phrases bundle and got busy!

My intentions were to fussy cut those pretty Island Indigo flowers out but my hands were not having it so I diecut them out with a Circle Layering Framelit. The flourish was also diecut from the Flourish Thinlit Dies. This is one bundle I have not used too much over the last several years except for the sayings that are in the stamp set. It is a beautiful bundle!
The sentiment comes from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set and my paper is from a retired pack called Blooms & Bliss.

Card Details:

Stamps: Flourishing Phrases, Itty Bitty Greetings
Ink: Island Indigo (retired), Sahara Sand
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Mint Macaron, Island Indigo (retired), Blooms & Bliss DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Flourish Thinlits, Circle Layering Framelits, Classic Label Punch, Mint Macaron Shimmer Ribbon, Glue Dots, Rhinestones, Dimensionals & Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love this pack of paper and hope to get the last of it used up over the next few weeks!
I am going to get back to creating some cards for my Stamp Day w/ Friends get together's in hopes that our social distancing will soon end. I really miss making cards with my friends!

Butterfly Gala Notecards

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your enjoying your weekend!
Yesterday we had a sign of it being springtime.
Our neighbor came over late in the afternoon and tilled up the garden for us!
We weren't expecting that for a few more weeks but now it's all done and ready for some vegetable plants to get put in. Not sure when Shawn will do that and this coming week they are calling for more cool weather.

Today it is cloudy but no rain yet.
I have laundry waiting on me and maybe I will hit my stamp table for a bit.
First though, I have a set of notecards to share that my card lady requested.
She loves her cards to write various notes in to friends & family.
She specifically asked for this butterfly paper that was from SaleABration 2019 called Botanical Butterfly.

This paper has butterflies in several colors.....Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, Highland Heather, Grapefruit Grove & Balmy Blue.
I stamped one small butterfly from the Butterfly Gala stamp set and then stamped it with one of those colors and punched it out. I layered it onto a Stitched Circle and a Scalloped Layered Circle in that same color as the butterfly. I popped up the butterflies with a Mini Dimensional and added a Rhinestone to each.
My customer does not like sentiments on some of her cards so she can use them for whatever would come along.
I really liked these with the circle panel on them and a different colored butterfly!

Card Details:

Stamps: Butterfly Gala
Ink: Memento Black, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, Highland Heather, Grapefruit Groave, Balmy Blue
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Lemin Lime Twist, Highland Heather, Grapefruit Grove, Balmy Blue
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Butterfly Duet Punch, Rhinestones, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was pleased with them and you know I don't care to make cards without a sentiment!

Fun Fold Retirement

Hello & Happy Saturday!

We are up early this morning to go run some errands and then get some yard work done since we are in for a nice day!! That felt great to say since we've had many of gloom & doom days recently!
Not sure how much help I will be since my neck is still a little bothersome but everyday it is getting better.

Today I have a pretty retirement card to share that was part of the last card order I had.
My card lady originally requested something with a cardinal on but since I have nothing with a cardinal that isn't Christmas related I went in a different direction.
You know I love making fun fold styled cards so I enjoyed creating this one!

I started out with using more of that beautiful Magnolia Lane DSP that is sadly retiring!
I have another package of it coming so it will keep on being loved in my stamp room!
I diecut a pretty label from the Stitched Label Framelits in Petal Pink.
I also diecut my sentiment from the Oval Layering Framelits.
My sentiment comes from a retired set, Wild About Flowers.
Lastly, I added a Petal Pink/Champagne Bow and coordinating Champagne Rhinestones!

Card Details:

Stamps: Wild About Flowers (retired)
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Mossy Meadow, Whisper White, Magnolia Lane DSP
Accessories: Stitched Labels Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Petal Pink/Champagne Ribbon, Champagne Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This one is very pretty & so dainty!
It came together quite easily, too!

My thoughts today...

For me today, it is chores then crafting!
Going to try to take advantage of a nice sunny day while we have it!
Hope you get to enjoy it too!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day, my friends!
