Butterfly Thinking of You

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Friends!

I hope you had a nice weekend!
It got a bit toasty yesterday! We did a quick trip to Sam's Club first thing in the morning then took a long walk down to the square in Red Lion and did some window shopping along the way. We went into the consignment shop which was very nice! I got myself a summer dress since the other 2 I have are way too big now. I also found some brand new shirts for $2 a piece. Can't beat that in this day & age where everything is priced thru the roof!

Anyways, today I have a card to share that is a blast from the past. It uses all things retired which is great because it means I am using up my old stash.

Card Details:

Stamps: Dreams du Jour (retired 2008), Phrases & Frames (Million Dollar Achiever Set)
Ink: Riding Hood Red (retired In Color), Kiwi Kiss (retired In Color)
Cardstock: Riding Hood Red (retired In Color), Kiwi Kiss (retired In Color), Basic White, Bella Rose DSP (retired 2008)
Accessories: Note Tag Punch (retired), Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Such a pretty set to pull out & play with again.
I got rid of so many of my wood mounted floral sets that I just have not used in years and felt it was time to pass them on. This one was always a favorite so it stayed! And that DSP is just so pretty!

This card was put in my bin for when the card rack needs refreshed.

Pretty Florals Card

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

Yesterday was a gorgeous day weather wise...sunshine & 70's and if you know me you know that is my favorite weather! Today we are back to cloudy, rainy & quite cooler! I hope Mother Nature soon gets regulated so we can have more sunshine & warmer days!

Today I am sharing a card that I made for my dear friend, Deb. She is the one whom is responsible for getting me into stamping and has been a very good friend to my family & I for about 30 years. Recently she was hospitalized with some very serious issues. We went to visit her last Saturday and to say I've been very worried about her is an understatement. To my surprise she called me yesterday from the ICU which really helped to brighten my spirits and I hope it did the same for her! It was so good to hear her voice and chit chat a few minutes. I may try to go visit her again this weekend. Anyways, I made a card to take along for her. This one uses the Pretty Florals Bundle and the Beautiful Motifs set both from the 2025-26 Stampin Up! Annual Catalog. I'm pretty sure they will be retiring in the next month but it will be staying put in my collection.

Card Details:

Stamps: Pretty Florals, Beautiful Motifs
Ink: Garden Green, Fresh Freesia, Blackberry Bliss
Cardstock: Garden Green, Fresh Freesia, Blackberry Bliss, Basic White, Florals In Bloom DSP
Accessories: Pretty Florals Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Beautiful Pattern EF (Online Exclusives), Starburst Sequins (retired Online Exclusives), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Hope this card helps to brighten her spirits!

Penny Black

 Hello & Happy Thursday, Friends!

I have a quick post for you today sharing a card made with a very well loved Penny Black stamp. This pretty flower stamp has been sitting on my stamp table for atleast a month and on a whim last week I grabbed it and inked it up with some Timid Tiger ink. I stamped it once and then stamped it again without inking it up. I love the look!

The inside says Thinking of You!

Card Details:

Stamps: Penny Black (coneflower), Stampendous (Keep in Touch)
Ink: Timid Tiger (NEW In Color)
Cardstock: Timid Tiger (NEW In Color), Basic White, Timid Tiger DSP (NEW In Color)
Accessories: Textured Notes Dies, Timid Tiger Ribbon (NEW In Color), Brushed Brass Butterfly, Glue Dots, Stampin Seal Adhesive

This card really showcases some of those new Textured Notes Dies which are pretty amazing! Each die has a different diecut design. I just love this card!

Thinking of You

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

It's hump day! Hope your week is going well!
Today I have a pretty card to share with you using The Right Words stamp set, the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder and the Floral Impressions DSP.

I took a piece of the DSP and cut into sections since the one print has several different colored flowers on it. I took the blue flowers and built my card around it. My cardbase is Misty Moonlight with a layer of Basic White cardstock that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder. I took my piece of DSP and layered it with Misty Moonlight cardstock and adhered it to my card in the lower left hand corner. I stamped my sentiment from The Right Words stamp set that is current from the 2025-2026 Stampin Up! Annual Catalog. Then I diecut my flower using the Impressions Abloom dies using Misty Moonlight & Garden Green cardstocks. I diecut the center of the flower using Early Espresso cardstock. I adhered my flower and added it to my card with Dimensionals. Lasty, I added some rhinestones for a pop of sparkle.

Card Details:

Stamps: The Right Words
Ink: Misty Moonlight
Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Garden Green, Early Espresso, Basic White, Floral Impressions DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Impressions Abloom Dies (Online Exclusives), Pressed Flowers EF (Online Exclusives), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal Adhesive

I love everything about this entire suite of products! It makes the prettiest cards!

Simply Zinnia

Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

Today I am sharing a card I made with the Simply Zinnia bundle that was out last year on the Online Exclusives list. This card went into my bin of extra's that will eventually get put onto my card rack.

Card Details:

Stamps: Simply Zinnia (retired Online Exclusives)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Versamark
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Lemon Lolly, Basic White, Flowering Zinna DSP (retired Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Zinnia 3D EF (retired Online Exclusives), Simply Zinnia Dies (retired Online Exclusives), Impressions Abloom Dies, Lemon Lolly Ribbon (retired), Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins (retired), Heat Gun, White Embossing Powder, Glue Dots, Dimensionals. Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I decided to emboss my flower image instead of coloring it because I am not good at coloring flowers. I do like how it turned out! It was fun pulling this bundle out again and playing with it. One of these days I will brave it and just color the flowers! LOL

Gallery Blooms & An Update

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

Happy Hump Day to you!
This morning we have a bit of sunshine so that's a good thing! We had rain overnight and everything this morning is pretty soaked. More rain/storms are expected this evening, again. Warmer temps are on the way today and the humidity is to jump up. It will start feeling like summer even though the first day of summer arrives on Friday.
Today I have a card to share with you from the new Gallery Blooms bundle from the 2025-2025 Stampin Up Annual Catalog. This was one of the 1st purchases I made when the catalog went live. I love the flower images in it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Gallery Blooms, Beautiful Motifs
Ink: Memento Black, Strawberry Slush, Stampin Blends-Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight & Strawberry Slush
Cardstock: Strawberry Slush, Basic White
Accessories: Exposed Brick 3D EF, Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Gallery Blooms Dies, Strawberry Slush Gems, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal

I'm not usually a big flower person but the flowers in the bundle are so pretty that I could not resist! I got both the Gallery Blooms & the Beautiful Motifs bundles but not the paper. It hasn't grown on me yet but maybe down the road I will grab it. For now I am happy with the stamp sets! Just beautiful and there will be more cards to come!

UPDATE:

I told you yesterday that I had my 4 month check up on Monday evening. I got bloodwork results back yesterday. I am shocked and elated that everything was within range and all is normal for the 1st time in my life! It's just so hard to believe! My doctor said "everything looked beautiful"! I am so proud of the work I put into myself and getting the results that I had never dreamed would come to light. I'm SO thankful for my doctor's guidance and this medication for changing my health and my life!

Delicate Forest

 Happy Sunday, Friends!

Hope your enjoying a nice weekend!
Last night we had some hefty thunderstorms come thru.
Lots of rain & crazy winds but we really need the rain so no complaints from me.
Today I have a card that was made with the soon retiring Delicate Forest Bundle. This is one of those sets that really doesn't jump out at you in the 2024-2025 Stampin Up! Annual Catalog but I will tell you it has some pretty cool dies even though I did not use them on this card. I have had it for quite awhile but have not used it until recently.

Card Details:

Stamps: Delicate Forest
Ink: Pool Party, Pretty Peacock
Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Pool Party, Basic White, Poetic Expressions DSP (retired)
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies, Countryside Corners Dies, Pool Party Gems (retired), Pretty Peacock/Gold Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was trying something different with the torn edge on my card. I wanted to do the Pretty Peacock cardbase but thought it would not look right so I left it go. I may go back and do that with it to see if I like it. Any thoughts?

Thinking of You

 Happy Tuesday, Friends!

It's a gloomy start to our day here. Snow is in forecast for this evening into tomorrow morning. Then round 2 is to start tomorrow evening. Crazy weather seems to be in the pipeline every other day. Hurry up spring!
Today I have a card to share that I made with using the Mediterranean Blooms suite from the 2024-2025 Stampin Up! Annual Catalog. I haven't used it much because it screams summer time to me. The paper is very pretty and the die set has some really great shapes in it! This card is an off centered gatefold.

Card Details:

Stamps: Comforting Thoughts ( Online Exclusives)
Ink: Garden Green
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Basic White, Mediterranean Blooms DSP
Accessories: Spotlight of Nature Dies, Opal Rounds Assortment, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The lemon & flowers on the front I fussy cut from one of the sheets of paper. It wasn't too bad to do! I was really hoping there was a die to do that but there is not. I hope to use this bundle a bit more once we get some warmer weather.

What are you crafting today?
I have nothing in mind to play with today so I may just get started on Audrey's card order. She does not need it until March so no rush on it.

Frames & Flowers

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Today I am sharing a card that made for my English teacher from when I was in high school.
She just happens to be Audrey's neighbor & friend and Audrey told me she has been going thru a bit of a rough patch and since she is a big supporter of mine (she buys my candy treats all the time) I wanted to send her a card to let her know she was in our thoughts.
I pulled out the Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP and whipped up a card. This DSP reminds me of being a scrapbook kit because it has pieces you can punch out and use with the DSP. The sentiment panel is one of those punched out pieces that I just stamped my sentiment on and adhered it to my card. Easy peasy!

Card Details:

Stamps: Wildflower Designs
Ink: Lost Lagoon
Cardstock: Lost Lagoon, Basic White, Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP
Accessories: Petal Pink Milky Dots (retired), Stampin Seal Adhesive

This card went out in the mail today and I hope it helps to lift her spirits!

All went well yesterday at the dentist!
I don't have to return for another 6 months! YAY!! Music to my ears!

NEW-Regal Flora

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!!

Today I am planning on getting to my stamp table to play a bit. Last evening we went to Target and I was able to find some Halloween candy that I would like to use for a few treats. I am not going all out this year but I will have some on hand to sell if any of my girls are interested.

Yesterday I did get a chance to make a card for Audrey!
I feel so bad for what she is going thru (shingles) so I wanted to make a card to let her know we are thinking of her. I got a new bundle from the 2024 Holiday Mini Catalog called Regal Flora. At first it did not appeal to me. I seen a few fellow demo's using it and saying not to sleep on this set because it is so pretty. After that I was sold on it! Hate how that happens but it does! This is going out in the mail to her today and I sure hope it lifts her spirits.

Card Details:

Stamps: Regal Flora
Ink: Pretty Peacock, Real Red
Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Basic White, Regal Winter DSP
Accessories: Regal Flora Dies, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal

This came together so nicely and I cannot wait to play more with it!
I love the rich, beautiful colors in the prints of the DSP which I think are perfect for the winter months. This was a whole suite of products most of which I did not use here but I promise I will soon! This really is not a sleeper suite and I'm glad I got it!

That is all for me today!

Thinking of You Set

Hello & Happy Thursday, Everyone!

I took a couple days away from making any cards the last several days as it's been really nice here in PA. I sat outside with Bailee while she roamed the yard. The sunshine felt good! I had a call from Audrey this past week for a few more cards that she added to her list and I thought i'd better soon get started on them. I made a pack of Thinking of You for her and boy, was I ever rusty getting started!

Last week my preorder arrived which really wasn't much other than the new 2024-2026 In Color stuff. That is one thing I always purchase! The new In Colors are so pretty!
Anyways, I made a pack of cards for Audrey with this new pack of DSP that I grabbed. The paper is called Unbounded Beauty DSP.

Card Details:

Stamps: Garden Meadow (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Petunia Pop (New In Color)
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink (New In Color), Petunia Pop (New In Color), Basic White, Unbounded Beauty DSP
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies,  Adhesive Backed Dragonflies & Birds (Online Exclusives), Pretty in Pink Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

One pack down and 2 more to go!
Today it's to be a rainy day so you know where I will be!

My thoughts today...

Our sump pump has been running none stop since last Thursday!
Yesterday it finally stopped but I wonder for how long with rain today?!

Sending Support

 Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

I hope your weekend is off to a good start!

I know I said that I would not be back until Monday but I decided after a few days of clearing my head that I would share a pretty card I found in my stamp room that got lost in the shuffle. Most times I rush to clean up and this one fell behind a box of envelopes and Thursday I was down cleaning up and found it. It's too pretty to not share...

Card Details:

Stamps: Sending Support (SAB 23)
Ink: Evening Evergreen
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Basic White, Fragrant Flowers DSP (SAB 23)
Accessories: Something Fancy Dies, Evening Evergreen & White Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This stamp set is one of the nicest ones that was available during SaleABRation 2023. It has many heartfelt thoughts & sayings in it. We are all going thru own issues these days and this set is perfect for almost anything!

Yesterday Shawn had a vacation day.
We took the day and went out thrifting at some of the local stores. I found a few things for Kelsey as she will soon be moving to her own place. Shawn found a cooler to take along with him when he goes fishing and I found a set of brand new Rae Dunn winter time coasters for $3.99! They retailed for $19.99!
I seen SO many Stampin Up! stamp sets & punches, too! All wood mounted ones from years ago that were $7 a piece. Since I already own so many I passed on them.
It was a nice day away that gave us a chance to clear our minds.
