Snow Is Glistening Card Set

Hello & Happy Friday!

The weekend has arrived!
Anyone have any fun plans?
Last day of November already! Where does the time go?!

Today I have another set of cards to share that were made for my customer order.
I am working hard on getting her 12 packs of Christmas cards done.
This pack uses the November promotion called Snowflake Showcase.
I used the Snow Is Glistening stamp set & Snowfall Thinlits.
Take a look...

The Snowflake Showcase Promotion ends today, sadly!
This is such a wonderful stamp set & dies!
My big white snowflake is cut out with White Velvet Paper that has sold out really quick just like this Joyous Noel Specialty DSP. I have been using it sparingly so it lasts longer. LOL

Card Set Details:

Stamps: Snow Is Glistening
Ink: Merry Merlot
Cardstock: Merry Merlot, Whisper White, Copper Foil Paper, White Velvet Paper (SOLD OUT), Joyous Noel Specialty DSP (SOLD OUT)
Accessories: Snowfall Thinlits, Oval Layering Framelits, Clear Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

If you are thinking of ordering these amazing stamps & dies I would suggest you do it before they sell out! The promotion ends TODAY!
The dies cut so nice! One of the nicest snowflake sets SU has ever had!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Yesterday was a very busy day!
I got a bunch of stuff created at my stamp table and whipped up a homemade Chicken Pie for supper. Nothing better on a very cold & windy day!

As I sat down at my stamp table to create, I was having a senior moment as to where to start.
I looked on my desktop and there was this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch to the rescue!

Here is their sketch and my sample....

This card had taken many different turns until I found what I liked!
My customer needs about 12 packs of Christmas cards this year...
I will be making Christmas cards until the cows come home, I think! LOL
Stylish Christmas is a new set this year. It is in the SU Annual Catty.
I love the look of it. It is one of those Distinktive sets.

Card Set Details:

Stamps: Stylish Christmas, More Merry Messages (retired sentiment)
Ink: Real Red, Old Olive, Memento Black
Cardstock: Real Red, Old Olive, Whisper White, Under the Mistletoe DSP
Accessories: Stamp A Ma Jig, Red Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I may try to make another set using this pretty poinsettia and some different colors!
They are so festive for this time of year!
Hope you liked my card!

Unicorn Happy Birthday

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I went downstairs today to stamp today and totally forgot to update the blog!
Ughh the horror! LOL

I do have a very cute birthday card to share that I made for my customer.
She wanted a card made for a little girl who loves unicorns!
I looked high & low for a unicorn stamp and found nothing in my stash.
Then as I was getting ready to whip up some Christmas treats, I had an order from Ellen Hutson and I found in my package a cute little Thank You from her and low & behold it was a unicorn!
I cut the Thank You off the bottom of it and used it for this card.
Take a look....

I tried my best to match up the colors to what was already colored on that beautiful unicorn.
I took the Circle Layering Framelits and cut out circles in those colors then cut it in half to create my rainbow. Then added a piece of Umbre Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon which I tied on with a piece of White Baker's Twine. My customer was SO THRILLED with this card. She had also purchase a pair of Unicorn Slippers for the little girl which match perfectly!

Card Details:

Stamps: Cake Soiree (sentiment), Essentials by Ellen Hutson (Unicorn)
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Lemon Lime Twist, Flirty Flamingo, Whisper White, Sweet Sugarplum, Balmy Blue
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Corner Rounder, Lemon Lime Twist Umbre Ribbon, White Baker's Twine, Sweet Sugarplum Enamel Heart, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

A very cute card for a little girl and I hope it brought a smile on her special day!

Merry & Bright Candy Bar Wrappers

Good Morning & Happy Monday!

The start of a new week and the holiday season has begun!
Yesterday was a lovely day, full of bright sunshine and we got to almost 60 degrees!
I popped out for a few groceries and then hung my lighted garland on the front porch.
Took advantage of the warmer weather to finally get that done!
Today rain is in the forecast and Shawn had to go back to work after almost 2 weeks off.
I wish I could spend the day crafting but my housework awaits.
I am dreading it as much as Shawn is dreading going back to work.

So, today I am sharing a sweet treat that is one of my absolute favorites to make, Candy Bar Wrappers!

These use one of our new colors called, Merry Merlot.
A beautiful deep burgundy is what it reminds me of.
I paired it up with Sahara Sand because that is a color in the DSP.
Speaking of the DSP....the Joyeous Noel DSP is NO longer available.
I'm sad about that as each sheet is beautiful and has the Copper Foil throughout it.

Isn't that snowflake paper pretty?
I love the Sahara Sand, Whisper White and pops of Copper Foil in this sheet.

My stamped image is from the Christmas Traditions Punch Box on the inside cover of the SU Holiday Mini Catalog. Personally, it's a bit pricey but I caved and got it so I need to try my hardest to use it a bunch this holiday season!
Do you see that big ole pretty bow?
It is a mix of Merry Merlot and Copper Sheen. It is quite beautiful!
My sentiment panel was stamped with Merry Merlot and layered onto a Copper Foil Layering Circle Framelit. The only thing that would make this even more pretty would be if we had some Copper Enamel Dots! Y'all know how much I love my ribbon & embellishments! LOL

Project Details:

Stamps: Christmas Traditions Punch Box
Ink: Merry Merlot
Cardstock: Merry Merlot, Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Copper Foil Paper, Joyeous Noel DSP 9NO longer available)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Circle Punch, Crimper, Merry Merlot/Copper Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope you have enjoyed my sweet treat project today!
Making those Candy Bar Wrappers is a quick & easy way to dress up a Hershey's Candy Bar and everyone always loves them as a sweet little treat or a stocking stuffer!

Love Never Melts

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

Hope your all having a nice weekend and got lots of Christmas shopping done!
The rain has finally ended here and peaks of sunshine are popping thru the clouds.
I am hoping the sun will come out and dry us out after a very rainy Saturday.

Today I have a cute set of cards to share.
My customer asked for a pack of cards that are for winter anniversaries.
This is what I made for her.

The colors make this very Christmas-y and perfect for a December anniversary.
I colored these images with my Stampin Blends.

Card Details:

Stamps: Spirited Snowman
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Real Red, Call Me Clover, Whisper White, All is Bright DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Banner Punch (retired), Real Red 1/8 Grosgrain Ribbon (retired), Red Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm not much of a fan of coloring anymore because of my hands but these were fun to color!
I love the colors and the festive feel to them. I think my customer will like these, don't you?

My thoughts today....

I noticed in my neighborhood that everyone has lights up and their Christmas Trees.
Sure is a pretty sight!

That is all for now!

Flap Fold Card

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Our weather today is not going to be really nice.
Rain & Freezing Rain is in the forecast.
It may be another pj day around here!
We have been out running around almost everyday that Shawn has been on vacation so a few days of lounging around will be good for him before heading back to work on Monday.
I'm sure he is not looking forward to it.

So, now that Thanksgiving has past we are in full on Christmas mode!
I love Christmas!
I have a huge Christmas card order that I got to get started on.
I made this pack about 2 weeks ago and thought i'd share them with you and see what you thought of them. Take a look....

I made a card like this over the summer called a Flap Fold Card.
I wanted to create something to make for my stamp day with friends but I already had so many cards ready so I decided to make up a pack and see if my customer would like these.
I had a gold sprig on it using the Sprig Punch and ended up taking it off.
I did not want to bulk up my card so it wouldn't cost more to mail.

Card Details:

Stamps: Snowflake Sentiment
Ink: Versamark
Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White, All Is Bright DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Gold Embossing Powder, Gold Cord (retired), Gold Metallic Enamel Dots (retired), Heat Gun, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These cards are so neat to create and I like how it shows off to different sides of paper!

Thanksgiving Tissue Packs

Hello & Happy Black Friday!

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving holiday!
We cooked a big meal and ate later in the evening since Kelsey & Corey had to work.
Once everyone ate it was food coma heaven! LOL
I had dishes to do and my kitchen to put back together but it was a great day!
Today we are having lots of leftovers as i'm sure most people are.
It was a very cold day here in PA. I spent the day in my pj's doing some stamping.

I wanted to share with you a quick Thanksgiving Tissue Pack that I made up this year.
I made 10 of these and had 2 left.

I wanted to share them before the holiday but I never took any pictures of them until today.

This uses all retired things.

Project Details:

Stamps: Tags 4 You (retired)
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: More Mustard (retired, Very Vanilla, Spice Cake DSP (retired)
Accessories: Bracket Label Punch (retired), Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Natural Trim Gold (retired), Circle Punch, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The tissues I found at my local grocery store.
Now i'm on the hunt for Christmas ones!

**************************************************
My thoughts today....

Yesterday & today our temps did not get out of the 20's!
Too cold for me so we stayed in and had a pj day!
I have a ton of orders I need to catch up on.
I will be a stamping fool this week once Shawn goes back to work!

That's all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & stay warm!

M&M Sticks

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your week is going well!
It's been nuts here with hubby being on vacation!!
We've been running around non stop before the Christmas craziness begins on Friday!
Yesterday we had Kelsey out to do some shopping and then stopped for a quick supper before heading home. We've been out & about almost everyday since Shawn has been off.
Today will be much of the same except Kelsey has to be at work by 4 which is good so we can start prepping for our Thanksgiving day meal.

Today before the busy day starts I wanted to share my Thanksgiving M&M Sticks that I make up for every holiday. I have been stewing for awhile about stopping the holiday treats and have decided after Christmas to finally stop it unless someone orders something specific. It's too much anymore and my hands just ache. I have not stamped since last Wednesday afternoon and my hands ache 24/7.

This year's version of my Thanksgiving M&M Sticks are quite plain. My one customer who ALWAYS buys them did not want any this time so I have a couple left. I will empty them from the cello bags and put in a candy dish. Had I known beforehand that she did not want them I would not have made them. Candy isn't cheap nor are the supplies.
This is another reason to stop the treats for the holidays.

Project Details:

Stamps: Pleasant Pheasants (sentiment)
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, 1x8 Cello Bags, Very Vanilla Twine, Hole Punch, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Nonetheless, M&M Sticks are always fun to made and always make a cute little treat!
Kids & adults love them!

Thanksgiving Boxes

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I am sharing a sweet little treat box that I made for Thanksgiving.
This box was made and given to me by my dear friend Vicki Burdick when I lived in Joplin MO several years ago. I kept the box she gave me and created my own with basically the same things she used. This box holds 3 bite size candy bars.

I made 14 of these and they all sold!
Inside I put a Bite Size Nestle Crunch, Baby Ruth and a Butterfinger Candy Bars.

Project Details:

Stamps: Pleasant Pheasants (sentiment)
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Cardstock: More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, Gold Foil Paper, Spice Cake DSP (retired)
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Seasonal Layers Framelits, Vanilla & Gold Ribbon, Gold Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

So thrilled with these and happy that I was able to use up more of those older papers!

Wood Crate Treats

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a nice weekend!

I am all off schedule with Shawn being on vacation.
Yesterday we spent the day watching football then the Christmas movies that were on the Hallmark Channel. They were really good movies!

We have all our ceramic Christmas Trees out but still doing some tweaking as to the perfect placement for them. When I feel they are right where they belong I will share pictures here for you. At night when they are lit up they are just so pretty!

So, today I am sharing one of the treats I made for Thanksgiving.
Every time I use the Wood Crates Framelits...they sell like hot cakes!

The crates are diecut with Early Espresso Cardstock and then I stamped them with a line stamp from the retired Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. My leaf is from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits. I think that little leaf just makes this treat holder stand out!

Project Details:

Stamps: Many Blessings, Teeny Tiny Wishes (retired), Gorgeous Grunge (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Early Espresso, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Wood Crate Framelits, Seasonal Layers Thinlits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Classic Label Punch, Handheld Hole Punch, Gold Rhinestones, Jute Twine, Cello Bags, Dimensionals, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My customer told me if I would have had more of these made she would have bought them!
Sometimes things like that are unpredictable.
These Wood Crates are so fun and can be made for many different occasions!
