Merry Monday Challenge Week #30

Hello & Happy Monday!

It's time for another sketch from Lesley, over at Always Playing With Paper!
This week's sketch is another easy peasy one so get out your Christmas supplies and let's get those Christmas cards made!

My image was already stamped so all I had to do was color it!
I added my sentiment and layered it with some Crumb Cake & Cherry Cobbler cardstocks. I used some Deck the Halls DSP and once again layered that onto some Crumb Cake cs and attached it to my Cherry Cobbler card base. Before I attached it to my base I found a piece of ribbon in my stash that matched the Cherry Cobbler perfectly so I tied that on with a simple knot. Added some rhinestones for interest and called it done! I think it took me longer to color my image than it did to assemble my card!! :)

Merry Monday Card Week #30:

Stamps: Bells & Boughs, More Merry Messages
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Neenah White, Deck the Halls DSP
Accessories: Ribbon, Rhinestones, 2 Sided Tape

Stop on by Always Playing With Paper to see what the other Merry Markers have created this week! Once again, you won't be sorry!

I'm off to get my housework done then Kirsten & the puppies are coming for supper tonight so i'd better get off here and get started so i'm done before they get here!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
~Wendy

Don't you just love it when a card comes together easy! (it doesn't happen before often for me!) You've created and coloured this card beautifully Wendy! It's been great playing along with the DT for the past 3 months = thanks for having me!

Wendy, I love this image and you colored it so nicely. Your background paper and your bright red ribbon are just perfect. Love those little gems also. Enjoy your week.

Wendy, this is a lovely CAS Christmas card. To me, it has a bit of a vintage look with your beautifully coloured gold bells. It reminds me of the Christmas cards from many years ago.

Thanks for making my card a favorite in last week's challenge! It was only after I saw your fantastic card that I was inspired to make mine! :)
