More Pickles Please!

Hello & Happy Friday!

Finally made it to the weekend! WooHoo!
Today is also the last day of January!
That went awfully quick, didn't it?!

I have another pack of cards to share today that is pretty much the same as yesterday's except they are a different color!

The colors & prints are also part of the pack of Pickles DSP that I used yesterday.
Believe it or not, there is also another pack of DSP with different colors called Tickles! LOL
I am going to try to pull that out today and play with it.
Kelsey & Shady is coming over to hang out since she has the day off.
Who knows, maybe she will craft with me! Haha!
One can wish, right?

Card Details:

Stamps: Piece of Cake
Ink: Night of Navy, Old Olive & Night of Navy Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Old Olive, Night of Navy, Whisper White, Pickles DSP (retired)
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Cake Builder Punch, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Between yesterday's pack and today's i'm not sure which one I like better!
I like the color of both!

Pickles, Anyone?

Hello & Happy Thursday!

It was so nice yesterday having some nice bright sunshine for a change!
I got alot accomplished!
I have to start cleaning out the bathroom and moving things downstairs to the bathroom.
We will also be moving Ryan down there until the bathroom renovation is done.
There is no way Shawn or I could carry him up & down the steps every time he needs to go to the potty or shower. We decided to just move his bed and all his things down there for the meantime.
I told him I will be down there everyday stamping so he won't be alone.

How familiar are you with Stampin Up! products?
I came into the stamping scene in 2001 when my neighbor & BFF invited me to a workshop.
I have lots & lots of DSP since then.
Today I pulled out a pack from 2004 called Pickles and made some cards with it!

Do any of you remember this paper?
I have ALOT of the older SU papers in my stash.
Most of them are singled sided not like the double sided prints we have today.
I loved using this!
I paired up my Pickles DSP with a newer stamp set called A Piece of Cake.
It coordinates with the Cake Builder Punch.
I have had this set since last February and I am just now inking it up!

Card Details:

Stamps: Piece of Cake
Ink: Memento Black, Eggplant Envy (retired), Copic Markers
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, More Mustard (retired), Eggplant Envy (retired), Whisper White, Pickles DSP (retired)
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Cake Builder Punch, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made these for my card lady because she said to use whatever I have in my stash.
I'm not sure she realizes just HOW MUCH is in my stash!! LOL

I pulled out my Eggplant Envy ink pad from the early 2000's.
It's a flip top one and surprisingly I did not have to re-ink it!
That just made me smile!

Haha!
I'm pretty sure my dear sweet hubby knows how much I have invested in my stamp room!
How bout you?

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

2020 Masculine Calendar Pt 2

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Today I have the last 6 months of Shawn's calendars to share with you!
I hope you enjoy them!

For July I should have done something different since it is a special month.
We will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary this year!

For September I used a retired set called Nailed It.
It has coordinating Framelits but I forget the name.
Shawn is a Maintenance Manager so I thought the tools would look great!
And the sentiment was spot on!

This was a really fun calendar to make!
I'm not sure I could improve it for next year!
We'll just have to wait and see!

I'm truly blessed with an awesome hubby!

That's all for now!

Shawn's 2020 Masculine Calendar

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I don't think we are off to a good start this morning as my hubby overslept and was running out the door. I got up to help him get on his way and stepped in doggy throw up. I really hope this is no indication of what our day is going to be like?!
I'm not sure which dog got sick during the night because both of them seem fine this morning.

I got hubby on his way and cleaned up the doggy mess so that means I can now get my blog updated!
I have said many times in the last few weeks that I wanted to get a calendar made for Shawn for his desk at work. The company is pouring lots of money into updating a very run down building and the recent renovation on the offices were completed in November.

I will share the first 6 months today and then tomorrow share the rest.
This is what it looked like packaged up with all 12 months sitting behind the frame.
Once he gets it to work he can remove the ribbon and store the rest in a drawer until he needs them.

I used sentiments that have meaning to us.
Hopefully it will make him smile when he reads them each month!
He has a deep love of cars so, of course, I had to include the Geared Up Garage!
He loves lighthouses and enjoys fishing.
We also love to ride our bikes which we don't get to do as often anymore.
He is definitely the best husband and is loved lots & lots!
Each month has a special meaning and I was happy to personalize it for him!
He said he loved it and will proudly display it on his desk!

I won't list everything I used on these so if you have any questions please feel free to shoot me an email and i'll get back to you!

Valentines Fun Fold

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

I am so sorry for the lack of posts as of recent.
As some may know we are preparing for a bathroom renovation the 1st week of February and we are on the hunt to purchase the stuff we want for in the new bathroom!
It's very exciting and a bit stressful too as our lives will be turned upside for a bit!
I have been eyeing up a new vanity and the one I would love to get isn't in stock in the color i'd like to have. Now i'm kinda stumped and not sure what to get. Right now we have a double vanity/sink but with only 3 people living here we certainly don't need that extra sink. Plus, if we go to a smaller vanity & 1 sink, it will give Ryan more room to move about in his wheelchair.
We are going to head out today and look for another vanity and then hit Sam's Club for a few things.
I hope we find something nice!

Today I have a pretty Valentines card to share that I made for Kelsey.
I have been trying to work ahead since I know this renovation is coming quick.
I just hope I don't forget to get them addressed and mailed out!

I love this style of fun fold that Angie Juda created on one of her Facebook Lives a few months ago!
I also did a card with my stamp girls for Halloween with this style. So fun!!

Card Details:

Stamps: A Wish for Everything (inside)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, Whisper White, From My Heart Specialty Paper
Accessories: Word Wishes Dies, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Be Mine Stitched Framelits, Real Red Double Stitched Satin Ribbon, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope she likes this card as much as I do!

Valentines Day Purse

Hello & Happy Thursday!

ETA: The purse die is an unbranded die. No idea who the maker is!!

I have a sweet treat to share that I made for Valentines Day using a purse die my friend sent me to play with!
I have had it since before Christmas and have not had time to play with it until recently!

I wish I would have gotten a better picture of the inside but I already sent these out to my customer.
I filled them with Ghiradelli Milk Chocolate & Caramel Hearts.
Perfect size to fit 3 in each purse.

Project Details:

Stamps: Heartfelt
Ink: Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Gold Foil Paper, Painted w Love Speciatly DSP (retired)
Accessories: Unknown Purse Die, Oval Layering Framelits, Heart Punch Pack, Melon Mambo 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Gold Metallic Enamel Hearts, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

So fun and what a way to present a Valentine treat!

Thinking of You

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Another cold day here!
I hope we soon get above freezing!
Even though we have lots of sunshine those winds make it quite brutal!
Yesterday I got all my house cleaning done so hopefully today I can go craft.
I never did get Shawn's calendar made over the weekend so i'd really like to do that!

Today I have another set of cards that were part of my card lady's order.
She asked for Thinking of You so I pulled out some retired Garden Impressions DSP and used up some scraps for these.

I kept these very simple and easy for mailing as she sends out lots & lots of cards each month!
I will most likely be making more cards like these since she said she really liked these.
Sending cards out to her family, friends and people from her church is one thing she enjoys doing.
She is very active in her church and helps out at church functions daily.
For being 89 years young, she is more active than a 20 year old!

Card Details:

Stamps: Peaceful Moments
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Garden Impressions DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Today it's to be much of the same with highs temp at 30 degrees and gusty winds. Burrr!
Stay warm where ever you are!

I have another Valentine fun fold card to share today!
This one is measured at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 1 1/4 &  4 1/4.

I love anything fun folds when it comes to creating a card.
This one allows you to use and show 3 different paper prints.
So simple and fun to decorate!

Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Real Red,  From My Heart Specialty DSP

Heart Thank You Cards

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

It's a snowy, icy morning here in PA.
We had a mixed bag of things that fell from the sky yesterday.
Today it's sunny but also windy and downright cold.
We are headed out this afternoon to get some shopping done.
We are having our bathroom gutted and redone in a few weeks and need to go look at what our options are for vanities and new flooring.
I wish I could just close my eyes and it will all be done!

Today I have a set of Thank You cards made using Stampin Up!'s Notecards & Envelopes.
These are perfect for this and my card lady loves them.

This set she wanted to go with the month of February so I used the new From My Heart Specialty DSP. I had some strips of this leftover from other projects and just layered them onto my cardbase. My sentiment is from Bella & Friends stamp set that is retired but was perfect to go with my heart theme. I punched it out with the Heart Punch Pack.
She said she loved her entire card order!

I still have lots more to share so stay tuned!
