Special Anniversary

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope you had a super weekend!
They always seem to go by so quickly!
We did get our porches power washed and the summer furniture out.
Miss Bailee loved being out on the backporch watching the birds & squirrels!
I'm glad we got it done before it got too hot out!

Today I have the last special card to share that Audrey requested for her daughter & son in laws upcoming wedding anniversary. She wanted something with a wine bottle & glasses. I knew right off the bat I was going to use a retired stamp set called Half Full. It is a Million Dollar Achiever set from a few years ago. This is what I made for her...

Card Details:

Stamps: Half Full (retired Million Dollar Achiever Set), Many Mates (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Basic Black Archival (retired), Stampin Blends-Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, Smoky Slate
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Basic White, Country Lace DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Silver Cord, Festive Pearls, Wink of Stella, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Audrey really loved this!
She called and said it was so pretty!
I was so glad she liked all the cards I had made for her in this last order.
It sure was a big one!

Candy Cane Season

Hello & Happy Friday!

The weekend is here but it's not to be a very nice one here in PA.
Rain, rain, rain!
Guess it's better than snow, right?!

Today I have a quick card to share made using a set from the Stampin Up Holiday Mini Catalog called Candy Cane Season.

It goes so nicely with the Santa's Workshop DSP which is what I used on this card.
I did find that layering 2 of the candy cane stamps were kinda tricky.
I pulled out my Stamp A Ma Jig to line them up and then they came out perfectly!

Card Details:

Stamps: Candy Cane Season, Half Full (sentiment)
Ink: Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, Santa's Workshop DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Candy Cane Builder Punch, Red Rhinestone, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm sad that I have run out of time to use this bundle.
It's a great set!
I do have one more card to share next week with it.
I can't share until the girls make it on Saturday.
Stay tuned...

Seasonal Chums Popcorn Boxes

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Another Christmas has come & gone!
It was a low key day for us but we did have a great holiday!

Today my hubby is headed back to work, unfortunately!
I have enjoyed the last several days with him being off.
We did a bunch of thrift/antique store shopping and I picked up a few more Ceramic Christmas Trees!
The glow of their lights in my kitchen & living room this holiday were beautiful and I hope to continue building my forest of trees for next year! Besides my regular tree and my Ceramic Christmas Tree that I made in 1984 (which I display every Christmas for 33 years!), my collection has now grown to 13 Ceramic Trees in all shapes, sizes and colors! I do believe now that my hubby is hooked, too!

Anyways, today I am still sharing Christmas things.
I have the rest of the Popcorn Boxes to show.
These have been wildly popular with my customers and they all sold, too!

These were SO fun to make and decorate this year!
Each box has a bit of shred paper in the bottom and a small cello bag filled with Hershey Kisses.
The snowman is from the Seasonal Chums stamp set and colored with my Copic Markers.

Seasonal Chums Popcorn Boxes:

Stamps: Seasonal Chums, Half Full (sentiment)
Ink: Black Memento, Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Whisper White, Be Merry DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Popcorn Box Thinlits, Garden Green & Cherry Cobbler Twine, Small Cello Bags, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This bundle will be retiring come January 3rd 2018 but will stay in my collection for along time!
Such cute images & matching dies to boot!

My thoughts today.....

I'm almost looking forward to the new year to get back on my bike!
Heaven knows i'm gonna need it! LOL

That's all for now!

Christmas Swankies

Hello & Happy Sunday!

It's Christmas Eve and things are going as planned.
Shawn steamed the shrimp last evening and today I have a couple of things to make for supper tonight and 2 more gifts to get wrapped.

Ryan has been sick the last 2 days and I hope when he wakes up today that he is feeling better.

Today I have one last thing to share that I made up for Christmas.
I have been making these the last several years for different occasions but this is the first time this year I have made them. They are the soft tissue box holders. I found the Swankie Tissues at my local Giant grocery store.

I remember they day I made these. It was a few weeks ago when I threw my back out and I was trying to get something accomplished and was not in much of a mood to decorate them. I left the paper do all the work. Aren't those packs of tissues cute?
The sentiment on each tissue box is from the Half Full stamp set.
It is a million dollar achiever set created by Linda Bauwin.

Christmas Swankies:

Stamps: Half Full (sentiment)
Ink: Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Be Merry DSP
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Silver Metallic Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These are usually a very good seller for me with people ordering more than I've originally made but this year that was not the case. It's hard to say from one year to the next what will be a hit. Thankfully I can keep these for another year and try again. You just never know!

My thoughts today....

I'm off to make deviled eggs and get my cheese & bologna tray ready for tonight.
Busy, busy, busy! Tis the season!

Hopefully tonight I can relax and watch one of my favorite Christmas movies, Disney's - A Christmas Carol. I love How the Grinch Stole Christmas, too! I have been watching them all this year, it just makes me happy!

That is all for me now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful Christmas Eve!

Christmas Diaper Fold Pouches

Hello & Happy Friday!

Here we are at the weekend again!
Lots to do to prepare for Christmas Eve & Christmas Day but it's all good!

Today I have something to share that is sure to fill anyone's sweet tooth.
I made these little pouches which in the stamping world we call Diaper Fold Pouches. I've made these before and are very simple! I was shopping at my local grocery store and found this adorable bag of Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate and Caramel/Milk Chocolate Snowmen. I could not resist and bought several packages!

These were a great seller this holiday!
They'd also make a nice treat to place at everyone's table setting which I will be using for mine.
Some years I have done up a cello bag with Yankee Candle Tealights in or cello bag with some sort of candy. There are so many ways you can present a sweet treat to anyone for the holidays!

Christmas Diaper Fold Pouches:

Stamps: Oh What Fun, Snowflake Sentiment, Half Full
Ink: Emerald Envy, Pool Party, Garden Green, Island Indigo, Real Red
Cardstock: Presents & Pinecones DSP, Winter's Frost DSP, Be Merry DSP, Whisper White, Emerald Envy, Pool Party, Garden Green, Island Indigo, Real Red
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Shapes, Circle Layering Shapes, Metallic Enamel Stars, Emerald Envy Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

And besides....who does not like chocolate??!

Christmas Popcorn Boxes

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Halfway thru the week!

Today I have a cute treat to share using the Popcorn Box Thinlit.
I made several different ones but will just share this one today.

Christmas Popcorn Boxes:

Stamps: Seasonal Chums, Half Full
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers, Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Be Merry DSP
Accessories: Popcorn Box Thinlit, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Cherry Cobbler Twine, Hole Punch, Cello Bag, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My little tag is diecut from a tag that is in the Popcorn Box Thinlits. It was perfect size for my Merry Christmas sentiment. That sentiment comes from the Half Full set.

I like the size of this box!
I used a small cello bag that I filled with Hershey Kisses and then I tied my bag shut with Cherry Cobbler Twine and added my tag. I also added a handful of shred paper to the bottom of my box so the candy treat stuck out the top.

It's a project that is alittle more involved but once it was done it was well worth the effort!
