Sweetly Swirled

Hello & Happy Thursday!

It's wonderful to wake up this morning and see the sun shining!
We've been having clouds & rain the last few days and honestly it's getting depressing!
The sun is certainly a welcomed sight and I hope it helps to motivate me.
I'm whipping up a Cobb Salad for supper tonight and I would like to get downstairs to make a few cards since my housework is all done.

I have a card to share today that I made last week using the Sweetly Swirled stamp set.

This set is so easy to use and I love that you can basically build your wreath with different flowers and leaves. I've seen so many wonderful idea's used with it and in different color combinations, too!
My colors are Purple Posy, Highland Heather, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green & Soft Seafoam.
I used an old Corner Rounder Punch to round the corners on 2 sides and I Gorgeous Grape Glittered Enamel Dot to the center of my pretty flower.
The Chicken Wire Background stamp was stamped on my Purple Posy cardbase with Purple Posy ink. Sadly, the Purple Posy ink is not available. Stampin Up had many issues with the manufacturing of it and finally pulled it. Purple Posy is still available in cardstock and the Stampin Blends.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweetly Swirled, Chicken Wire Background Stamp
Ink: Crumb Cake, Highland Heather, Purple Posy, Granny Apple Green & Soft Seafoam
Cardstock: Purple Posy, Highland Heather, Whisper White
Accessories: Corner Rounder Punch (retired), Gorgeous Grape Striped Ribbon, Gorgeous Grape Glittered Enamel Dot, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

November Thank You Notes

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

So happy that Blogger is back to normal today!
I did not have any issues trying to upload my pictures...WooHoo!

My appointment yesterday with the dermatologist went well.
Nothing was changed and I was out the door within 20 minutes!
I have a really cool doctor that is very down to earth and loves the talk about football!

Anyways, after my appointment I went to deliver my card lady's order.
This pack of cards were apart of it.

She loves these Notecards & Envelopes that Stampin Up sells.
She orders a pack or 2 every month.
They really do make card making easy...

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweetly Swirled
Ink: Always Artichoke (retired)
Cardstock: Very Vanilla Notecards & Envelopes, Very Vanilla, Autumn Traditions DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I pulled out some old Fall papers and went with this print since I don't have much left.
It was perfect for what I needed it for!
I'm trying to use up what I have and my card lady was happy with them!

The Paper Players #448

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your week is going well so far!
Last night Red Lion had their fireworks.
Not sure why they were a night early this year. Usually they are on the 3rd.
We did not stay up to watch them as we've been going to bed earlier because of Shawn's new job.

Today I have a card to share that I made for The Paper Players Challenge.

I love the tic tac toe challenges!
My card could go 2 ways, straight across the top or diagonal starting with the florals, yellow & diecut.

Just as I was getting ready to create my card, my customer called asking for some cards.
So I turned this challenge into creating cards for her!

I pulled out the lovely new set called Sweetly Swirled.
It was fun creating these pretty wreaths, atleast that is what they look like to me!
Once I had placement for my flowers and greens I took a Soft Suede Stampin Write Marker and flicked some ink on my cards.
I just love the look of this!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweetly Swirled, Flourishing Phrases (sentiment)
Ink: Soft Suede, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede Marker
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, Whisper White. Soft Suede DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Crushed Curry 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

And the best part of this pack of cards is....
They are very mail friendly!

I loved this challenge, so much fun!
I hope my customer will like this pack of cards!
She always tells me not to stress over them....but I do!
