Happy Halloween 2021

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Halloween has finally arrived!
I got my house decorated and the candy ready to hand out to the trick or treaters this evening! Last year we were lucky we had 20 kids so I am hoping for more than that!

I don't have any Halloween cards of my own to share today so I thought I would share a couple that arrived in my mailbox the last few days...

This is from my friend, Carol

This one is from my friend, Deb

This last one is from my friend, Cindy

Aren't they all so cute?
I loved all of them and appreciate you thinking of me & my family!
Happy Halloween to you!

Pretty Pumpkins Card

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Boy, did it ever rain yesterday!
It poured pretty much all day and the winds were just as bad!
Today is foggy, cloudy and still spritzing out. I am off for a haircut at noon then gotta grab a few things at the store. Other than that not much else is on the agenda.

I stamped most of the afternoon yesterday working ahead on Christmas treats.
Our local Giant grocery store had Christmas candy out already so I grabbed a few bags to get started. I am trying to work ahead while I have no card orders.

I am sharing a pretty card made for Thanksgiving.
I know, we are 1 day away from Halloween but as a crafter I need to move on to the next holiday so I don't get too far behind. I find if I work ahead I am not sitting at my stamp table the day before Christmas working on things.
Anyways, this card today is made using the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle.
It's gorgeous!

I told you I was hooked on this style of card and that there will be more in the future! LOL

Card Details:

Stamps: Pretty Pumpkins, Banner Year
Ink: Memento Black, Pumpkin Pie, Stampin Blends- Granny Apple Green & Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Regals DSP- Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: Detailed Pumpkins Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Timeworn Type 3D EF, Gold Twine, Gold Rhinestones (Michael's), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The more I use this bundle the more I really like it!

Thankful for You

 Hello & Happy Friday!

A wet, rainy day is on tap here today!
It's the perfect day to do laundry & do some stamping!

Yesterday, Miss Gigi went to the Vet and got a good bill of health but they put her on pain meds for arthritis. The Vet said her coat & her eyes looked really good for a dog her age and the home cooked food is serving her well because her coat is soft & shiny!

Today I have a card to share that I made using the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle from the Holiday Mini Catalog. Such a pretty set!

Card Details:

Stamps: Pretty Pumpkin, Sparkle of the Season
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Versamark
Cardstock: Mint Macaron, Basic White, Bumble Bee, Pumpkin Pie, Gold Foil, Harvest Meadow DSP
Accessories: Ornate Frames Dies, Detailed Pumpkins Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Scalloped Contour Dies, Heat Gun, Clear Embossing Powder, Gold Twine, Gold Rhinestones (Michael's), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The colors I used on this were a bit different for me but in the end I loved it!

2 days until Trick or Treat!
I hope this year we get more Trick or Treaters than we did last year!
Do you hand out candy?

Thanks for stopping by & have a faboolous Friday!

Christmas to Remember

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your week is going well!

Today I have another pretty card to share that I made with the same fun fold that I used on yesterday's card! I think I have fallen hard for this style because I will have more cards to share using it!

Today's card uses a new stamp set from the Stampin Up! Holiday Mini Catalog on pages 16-19! It is the Painted Christmas Suite and it makes some beautiful cards!

Card Details:

Stamps: Christmas to Remember, Christmas Season
Ink: Evening Evergreen, Soft Suede
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Soft Suede, Painted Christmas DSP
Accessories: Merry Melody 3D EF, Adorning Designs Decorative Masks, Blending Brushes, Seasonal Layers Dies, Soft Succulent Ribbon, In Color Jewels, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I started with an Evening Evergreen cardbase then a piece of Soft Succulent cardstock that I ran thru the Big Shot with the new Merry Melody 3D EF. This is the 1st time using it and it's gorgeous!
Next I chose my DSP from the Painted Christmas DSP. I was taken with this sheet of pine cones & greens! Once I chose my DSP I cut & scored it and attached it to my Soft Succulent panel and glued it to my Evening Evergreen cardbase.
Then I added a piece of Soft Suede that I diecut with the Seasonal Labels Dies. I then took my Blending Brush and the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks and sponged Soft Suede ink on it using the diamond pattern again. I just LOVE the look of this! Next I diecut another panel of Basic White using the same dies and stamped my sentiment from the Christmas to Remember stamp set. This stamp set if chocked full of wonderful holiday sayings and worth every cent for your collection! I stamped my saying in Evening Evergreen ink.
Next I stamped some green in Evergreen ink from the Christmas Season stamp set and diecut them out using the Seasonal Labels Dies. I attached them with a little Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue peeking out from under my sentiment panel. I added some Evening Evergreen Jewels on my sentiment panel and a Soft Succulent bow. I absolutely love these cards, especially the colors!

These will not be going on the card rack for sale this season as I am keeping these for myself! LOL  I normally don't keep them for myself but these are perfect for my friends this holiday season!
I hope you like them just as much!

Boo! Fun Fold Card

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday was a gorgeous day and it was nice having the windows open and letting in some fresh air. Red Lion also had their Halloween Parade but i'm not so sure they actually held it because shortly after it started the skies opened up and it thunder stormed like crazy! Then it just rained most of the night and got much cooler.

So today I have a cute Halloween card to share!
I have never made this style of card before because it looked complicated and since getting older I don't care much for complicated. LOL
Yesterday I thought I was going to give this a try and again I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was!

Here is a link to the Stampin Up Demo that had a picture tutorial on how to make this style of card. Stampin w/ Eva

So fun and so easy!
We have 5 days until Halloween and all my cards have been made, addressed and sent out! I will keep this one for next year or maybe give to my hubby since he loves Halloween, too!

I started with a cardbase of Basic Black then added a layer of Highland Heather that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Tasteful Textile 3D EF. Before I added the Highland Heather panel I had to chose my DSP, cut & score it. Pay attention to the direction of your DSP when scoring it!! Once that step was completed I adhered the DSP to the back on my Highland Heather cardstock and glued it all down. I would suggest to make sure you take your bone folder over those creases so it lays flat.
Next I diecut my Pumpkin Pie & Basic White panels with the Seasonal Layers Dies. I took the Pumpkin Pie layer and added the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks over my cardstock and I used a Blending Brush to sponge on some Pumpkin Pie ink. This is the first time I ever used the Blending Brushes and are they ever nice!!! The Adorning Designs Decorative Masks have 4 different stencils in it. I chose the one that looks like little diamonds. I honestly cant wait to play more with these masks now that I finally took that leap!
They are from the Stampin Up! Holiday Mini Catalog on page 9 if interested!
Once that was done I stamped my Boo image on the Basic White layer with Highland Heather ink and punched a ghost from the Cute Halloween DSP using the Halloween Punch. I adhered my 2 Seasonal Layers Dies to each point on the DSP carefully as you don't want it to glue to the embossed Highland Heather layer,
I added some Rhinestones because you just have to have some sparkle and a White Glittered Ribbon bow!

Another fun fold card for you to try!
I promise, your going to love it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Thinking Thanks & Peace
Ink: Highland Heather, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Basic Black, Highland Heather, Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Cute Halloween DSP
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Seasonal Layers Dies, Adorning Designs Decorative Masks, Halloween Punch, Blending Brushes, White Glittered Ribbon, Glue Dots, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope you like this one!

Welcoming Woods

 Hello & Happy Friday!

I have been looking forward to this day for several months!
I guess your wondering why, right? LOL
Tonight starts the All New Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel!
I love watching those movies not just at Christmas but all year long!

I've got my Hallmark Popcorn Bowl & Slippers ready to go!

So, today I have another set of Fall cards to share that my customer ordered.
These cards were fun to create because this is the first time I inked up the Welcoming Woods stamp set from page 46 of the Stampin Up! Holiday Mini Catalog.

Card Details:

Stamps: Welcoming Woods
Ink: Gray Granite, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Basic White, Cajun Craze DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Crushed Curry Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My leaves, I stamped using the Baby Wipe Technique.
I used Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze & Pumpkin Pie ink refills.

I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome of these cards.
Hope my card lady will like them as much as I did!

Gorgeous Leaves

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I have a set of Fall Anniversary cards to share that my card lady requested on her next order. I pulled out my Gorgeous Leaves stamp set and a piece of the In Good Taste DSP and got started.

I started with a cardbase of Bumble Bee cardstock then added a layer of this pretty woodgrain DSP. Next I diecut some Very Vanilla cardstock with the Stitched Rectangle Framelits and then took my leaves and inked them with Bumble Bee ink but before I stamped them I took my Sponge Dauber and inked it up with Cajun Craze ink and dabbed it onto my leaf stamps and then stamped it onto my Very Vanilla cardstock. I love the look of this technique as it makes it look like real leaves! Once my leaves are done I stamped my sentiment from the retired Many Mates stamp set in Cajun Craze ink. Next I added a layer of Bumble Bee cardstock that I diecut with the Scalloped Contour Dies. Once I had all that done I finished up my cards with a Bumble Bee Gingham Ribbon bow and a couple of Champagne Rhinestones.

I hope that she will like these!

Card Details:

Stamps: Many Mates (retired), Gorgeous Leaves
Ink: Bumble Bee, Cajun Craze
Cardstock: Bumble Bee, Very Vanilla, In Good Taste DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Scalloped Contour Dies, Bumble Bee Gingham Ribbon, Champagne Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Sponge Daubers, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

It's a picture perfect day here in south central PA!
Definitely my kind of weather!

Today I have another set of Thanksgiving cards to share that I made ahead of time for either my card rack or my card lady.
I was inspired by a card I received in the mail from a friend and I knew I had many sheets of the same DSP. I changed up my wreath and the sentiment.

Card Details:

Stamps: Pleasant Pheasant (retired)
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Thick Very Vanilla, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Painted Harvest DSP (retired)
Accessories: Wreath Builder Dies (retired), Ornate Frames Dies, Gold Rhinestones (Michael's), Natural Gold Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Nothing is popped up on these so they will mail nicely!

Happy Anniversary

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

What a day it turned out to be yesterday!
Kelsey was on her way to work when she got stung by a wasp.
Shawn & I had just got to our doctor appointments when she called me.
Her arm instantly got red and not just at the sting site. It turned red up to her shoulder and down to her wrist. Corey took her to Urgent Care where she had to wait 2 hours to get it looked at. She had a bad reaction to the sting and the doctor prescribed a steroid medication along with Benadryl and ice packs.
Needless to say, she had the evening off from work because she was not able to serve food with her arm like that!

Today I have another set of cards to share that were made last month for my card lady! She loved the You're A Peach Suite of products but especially loved the DSP. She requested a pack of Anniversary cards made with that paper and this is what I made for her...

Card Details:

Stamps: All Year Cheer 3 (retired)
Ink: Calypso Coral
Cardstock: Pale Papaya, Calypso Coral, Basic White, Your A Peach DSP
Accessories: Hippo & Friends Dies, Tasteful Labels Dies, Pale Papaya Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These were so pretty and perfect for the end of summer/beginning of Fall Anniversaries!
