Halloween Smiles Card Set

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!!

We really got pounded with storms yesterday!
From late afternoon thru bedtime it stormed. We had constant thunder and lots of lightening bolts. Shawn was out for the evening on a business dinner with his boss & his mechanics so Bailee & I stayed in the basement most of that time. I stamped and did some straightening up.  I think we are in for the same thing again today.

I have another set of cute Halloween cards to share with you today!
This set is called Halloween Smiles from 2003.

Card Details:

Stamps: Halloween Smiles (retired-2003), Spooky Fun (retired-2016)
Ink: Memento Black, Pumpkin Pie, Stampin Blends-Pumpkin Pie & Granny Apple Green
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Creepy Crawly (retired-2007), Witches Brew (retired-2013)
Accessories: Cobwebs 3D EF (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch (retired), Halloween Night Enamel Dots (retired), Halloween Night Twine (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Yep, everything is retired except the Stylish Shapes Dies.
I left this set blank inside unless someone wants something specific inside.

Don't you just love a smiling jack o' lantern?

I have lots more to share using all these fun Halloween stamps, ink & papers so I hope you will continue to come back!

Congratulations on Your Retirement

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

I hope your enjoying your Labor Day Weekend!
Our weather has been very nice the last several days.
I love having the windows open!

Yesterday I wanted to get a blog update but time got away from me.
We went out & did some shopping then I got involved with getting my Halloween decorations out. The cooler weather is motivating me to get started!

I am off to get a haircut this morning and pick up a few groceries.
It's to be a rainy kind of day so not much happening here.

I have been working on a big card order this last week.
My customer asked for a retirement card and the only set I have related to retirement is the Wild About Flowers set from a few years ago. I use this set all the time and have definitely gotten my money's worth from it!

This is the card I made for her...

Since we are still in the summer season for a few more weeks,  I made this to go along with summer colors but after my trip out yesterday you can tell that Fall is coming! Fall & Halloween is everywhere!

Card Details:

Stamps: Wild About Flowers (retired)
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Basic White, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight DSP
Accessories: Timeworn Type 3D EF, Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Scalloped Contour Dies, Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My card lady did not specify whether this card was for a man or a woman so I hope it is for a woman or I will be back at my stamp table making another card! LOL
I love those gorgeous flowers and everything came together nicely on this one!

Congratulations Grad!

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

The weekend is starting to warm back up!
I think I will hibernate today and maybe do some stamping.
Went for a bike ride yesterday afternoon which absolutely tuckered me out and at that point it was already starting to get hot & muggy.
This evening we are planning on another bike ride as long as it does not storm and my back isn't bothering me.
Do you have anything fun planned this weekend?

Today I am sharing a Graduation card that I made for my card lady's recent order.
I don't make many Graduation cards anymore so I was happy to create this one for her...

Blue & Gold are the school colors so I used Misty Moonlight & Bumble Bee cardstocks & DSP.

Card Details:

Stamps: Blue Ribbon (retired)
Ink: Misty Moonlight
Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Bumble Bee, Basic White, Misty Moonlight & Bumble Bee DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch, Circle Layering Framelits, Misty Moonlight Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multi Purpose Liquid Glue

Always fun to pull out those older stamps and make something new with it!
Sometimes I think I get more joy out of using the older stuff than I do the newer things!

Hope your all enjoying the weekend so far!
We are off to doggy day spa this morning and boy, do my girls need it, badly!
They were scheduled 4 weeks ago but we had to cancel their appointments because Gigi was sick.
She's better now but they both really need a bath & haircuts! I know they will feel so much better!

Anyways, I had a chance to do some stamping yesterday as I still need a few Valentine's Day cards.
I already had my pack of From the Heart Specialty DSP out on my table so I played around with it some more. I'm trying to get it used up!

These are the 2 cards I made...

This is a picture of Kelsey when she was a little girl.
She may have been kindergarten age in this picture. She was a clown!
She loved Elmo! We still have her Tickle Me Elmo doll.
And here she is at 27 years old with Shady!

Posted For You Card Set

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

My card lady called asking for a few more packs of cards which I am happy to whip up for her!
She wants 2 packs of Thinking of You cards and this is the 1st set...

The stamp set is called Posted For You that I have had since late summer and never used it.
It coordinates with the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch which I have used on several projects but today I am using it to create a pack of Thinking of You cards using the Posted For You stamp set!

My images are inked by directly using the Stampin Write Markers right on the rubber. Once I used each color I huffed on it to remoisten the ink and stamped them on Whisper White cardstock.
They turned out perfectly!
I layered 3 on each card but adhering them to a piece of Vellum using the Stamping Seal Plus adhesive that Stampin Up now carries. I have t say that I like both the Stampin Seal and the Stampin Seal Plus but the Plus is my favorite and works very well!!

Card Details:

Stamps: Posted For You, Peaceful Moments
Ink: Real Red, Real Red & Granny Apple Green Stampin Write Markers
Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White, Vellum
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal Plus

First time that I have used this set and I just love it!
I hope you liked my cards today!

Russell Stover Pumpkin Boxes

 Hello & Happy Friday!

Can you believe that tomorrow is the last day of October!?
The older I get the faster time goes by!

Today I have a cool Halloween treat box to share made using a template that Erica Cerwin showed on one of her Facebook Lives. It was the perfect box to hold the Russell Stover treats I had picked up a few days prior to her video!

These hold the Caramel Pumpkins from Russell Stover.
I forgot to take a picture of the candy itself.

These are the Peanut Butter Pumpkins from Russell Stover.

Here is the link to the You Tube video if you want to watch.

Project Details:

Stamps: Festive Post
Ink: Mango Melody, Rich Razzleberry
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody, Whisper White, Plaid Tidings DSP
Accessories: Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch, Oval Layering Framelits, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Rich Razzleberry Stitched Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These were fairly easy boxes to create and quite sturdy.
I like that it keeps my treat from getting smashed!

In Good Taste Suite

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Woke up this morning to a nice cool morning for a change! There is almost a Fall feel to it. I noticed one day last week that the Fall grass is starting in the backyard! Maybe that will mean an early Fall after the long hot summer. I have my fingers crossed!

Today would have been my Dad's 85th birthday. He passed away 3 months ago yesterday. He is on my mind daily. Sometimes it makes me smile and sometimes it makes me cry and even though I miss him, I know he's in a better place.

Happy Birthday, Dad!

I have another card to share from Saturday's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together.

As i've said before, the girls love their masculine cards!
This one uses a new suite from the Annual Catalog called In Good Taste.
It is on pages 122-124.
The In Good Taste Designer Series Paper or DSP is loaded full of awesome prints & patterns!
It's a big package of paper, 12 X 12 sized with 24 sheets.
If you make lots of masculine cards, this paper is for you!

Stamps: Tasteful Touches, Itty Bitty Greetings
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Very Vanilla, In Good Taste DSP
Accessories: Tasteful Labels Dies, Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I used this suite to create their gift bags to take their cards home in.
I will share them later this week!
Hope you like this one!
So easy to put together!

Trick or Treat

 Hello & Happy Thursday, Everyone!

I'm off to a late start today, so sorry about that! I have been tired & feeling run down the last couple of days and yesterday it finally caught up to me. I went to bed early last night and slept in way too long this morning. Still feeling sluggish but I need to push forward.

I have 2 days until my next Stamp Day w Friends get together and all I have left to do is get my table ready. Not sure what I will have for snacks yet. I always try to have a sweet treat like cupcakes or cookies and a veggie tray.

Today I have a cute little Halloween card to share! Nothing spooky about this one!

I told you it was cute!

This card uses multiple stamp sets which I will list below in the description.
I have always wanted a stamp that said October 31 and this year Stampin Up! delivered! YAY!

Card Details:

Stamps: Festive Post, Festive Corners, Banner Year
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, Memento Black
Cardstock: Granny Apple Green, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Regals DSP, Brights DSP
Accessories: Tasteful Textile EF, Circle Layering Framelits, Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch, Rhinestones, Linen Thread, Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love the colors of Halloween, just wish we had some patterned paper with these bright, fun colors all together!

Hope you like my card!

Press On

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Yesterday was quite the stormy day here in PA! We did get a bike ride in first thing then ran some errands. By the time we got home the sky was very dark and it just left loose. Many area's around us had flooding. Hopefully our weather today will be much quieter!

Today I have the second card to share that I made with the new Press On stamp set. There are lots of things used on this one...

My coffee cup was paper pieced again using the Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP.  I colored the lid with a Dark Cajun Craze Stampin Blend. This was all done on a Stitched Shapes Framelit diecut. The sentiment comes from the same stamp set and was diecut with the Stitched Rectangle Framelits. I seem to be reaching for them alot lately!

Under my focal panel is a layer of punched out shapes using the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch.  I punched 2 of the leaf DSP prints and 2 Mint Macaron prints with the Gold Foil in. These are layered on top of a piece of Mint Macaron that was run thru the Big Shot with the Tasteful Textile EF. I love the added texture it brings to my card! This card has lots of layers which I don't make as often anymore. I added a Mint Macaron bow with retired ribbon and some Champagne Rhinestones for some sparkle.

Card Details:

Stamps: Press On

Ink: Early Espresso

Cardstock: Thick Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Mint Macaron, Very Vanilla, Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP

Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Tasteful Textures EF, Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch, Mint Macaron Ribbon (retired), Champagne Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Such a fun stamp set and perfect for the Thank You cards that I needed!
