Stamping My Days Away....

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your all doing well! I've been really slacking when it comes to getting my blog updated. I've been doing alot of stamping just no updating. I actually thought about taking a bit of a blogging break but decided not too!
So, here are some cards I made earlier this week.

First one was made for my hubby for our 22nd wedding anniversary which was last Saturday.

Second one is a Masculine Pocket Card. Love making these!

Third one is a Sympathy card made for a card order. Love this new Stampin Up set called Stippled Blossoms!!

I've been working on my Merry Monday card so i'll have that to share tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by!

Merry Monday July Challenge Week 3

Hello & Happy Thursday!

I'm way late on posting my Merry Monday card for this week and I apologize.
It's been one of those weeks and I guess i'm getting like the lazy days of summer! It's been really hot here in PA much like most of the US and yesterday afternoon we had some decent storms come thru dumping a bunch of much needed rain. Our temperatures today are a tad cooler but it's still humid. I sure wish I could give my air conditioner a break and feel those sunny & 70's again but I don't think it's in the forecast for anytime soon. Welcome to the dog days of summer!
So, yesterday I stamped most of the day (and it felt great)! I did a few cards for an order that my Aunt gave me and then a bunch for the Merry Monday July Challenge. I went back thru and found a sketch that I made another card with. Here is the sketch and my card samples......

I chose week #13 because of the already stamped off images I had in my box. They fit perfectly with this sketch! I used a small non SU Snowflake punch and added a gold bead to it and it gives it some sparkle! I know my pictures aren't real bright as I took them at late at nite. If you click on them, you can view them better!

Merry Monday July Challenge Card (Sketch #13):

Stamps: A Beautiful Season (retired)
Ink: Pacific Point
Cardstock: Pacific Point, PTI White, Silver Glitter Paper
Accessories: SU Snow Burst EF, Pacific Point Ribbon, Snowflake Punch, Silver Beads, Hot Glue Gun, Scor Tape

I made a package of 5 for my upcoming craft show with this sketch. These cards are very flat and very mailable! :)

Well, that is all for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Color Challenge 384

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!
I did my housework Sunday & Monday and it whooped my butt! Not sure why but I was ready for bed at 9pm last nite and that's highly usual for me!

After a good nights sleep I made my way down to the basement today to play!
I checked over at SCS to see what the Color Challenge was today. The colors are:
Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green & Vanilla.
Since I did not make a card for this week's Merry Monday July Challenge, I thought i'd play along!

I went with another pocket card that I made last week because I think they are so fun to make! I also took these colors and used them for a Christmas card. I pulled out a new SU set called Chock Full of Fun set for my ornament and the More Merry Messages set for my sentiment. Love the colors, papers and these new stamp sets!

Color Challenge 384 Card:

Stamps: Chock Full of Cheer, More Merry Messages
Ink: Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler, Going Gray (ornament hanger)
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green, Vanilla, Be Of Good Cheer DSP
Accessories: SU Eyelet Border Punch, SU 3/4 Circle Punch, SU, Round Tab Punch, Gold Trimmed Ribbon, Gold Beads, Foam Plate, Dimensionals, Scor Tape

Today while having my lunch Kelsey brought the mail in and I had received my SU Holiday Mini!! I had seen it previously but seeing it up close & personal was a whole other story! All I will say is, Stampin Up is coming around by leaps & bounds and I LOVE what they have in the mini! I'd love to have one of everything in it but that isn't gonna happen! I do have my eye a few things though! Can't wait!

Well, that is all for me today!
Supper to make then gonna stamp a bit more this evening!
Have a great day everyone & Thanks for stopping by!

Merry Monday July Challenge

Hello & Happy Monday, friends!

Lesley is on vacation the entire month of July so there are no real sketches posted to do this month other than going back and picking old sketches to keep on making those Christmas cards!
Since I have this huge Holiday Craft Show at the end of November I like to keep on top of making Christmas items all year long! So, today I went back and chose a sketch from week #2 and made another card....

I chose this sketch because I was working with this stamp set earlier in the day and already had my image stamped. The rest fell into place once I found a sketch to use it with!

Merry Monday July Challenge- Week #2 Card:

Stamps: Tree Trimmings, More Merry Messages
Ink: Marina Mist, Early Esppresso
Cardstock: Marina Mist, Early Espresso, Neenah White, Silver Glitter Paper
Accessories: Swiss Dots EF, SU Scallop Trim Border Punch, Marina Mist Grosgrain, Silver Beads, Stamp A Ma Jig, Scor Tape

I really like this card because of the colors but also because it's flat and very mailable!
Well, that's all for today!
Hope you can find some time to play along with us this month and get those Christmas cards made!
Here is the link to  go see what everyone else made!

A Creative Weekend...

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope everyone enjoyed a nice weekend and stayed cool! It was literally quite horrible around most parts of the US this last week or so. I got all my errands done so that I could spend the entire weekend down in the basement crafting away! I got so much accomplished!!
Here are a few things I shared over on Facebook earlier today....

Of course, I have been on a roll with making these acrylic Post It Note Holders and still have a few left to do. I found the zebra paper at AC Moore one night last week when I popped in there quick. I thought it'd be fun to use it for one of these and I really do like the look of it!

Well, that is all for now!
Stay tuned for Merry Monday tomorrow so i'll see you then!

Thanks for stopping by!

Merry Monday July Challenge

Hello & Happy Monday!

It's Monday again and that means it's time for another Merry Monday sketch from Lesley from over at Always Playing With Paper! This month she is doing something a little different. She is taking some time off from blogging to get some much needed R&R but highly encourages everyone to still participate and get those Christmas cards made! The challenge is to go back thru the past Merry Monday sketches and pick one a week and make another card. At the end of July she will pick 4 winners which will become Guest Designers in the future. Hope you will stop on over to her blog and check out the fabulous cards made by the other Merry Markers and play along with us this week/month!

So, for my card this week I chose a sketch from a few weeks ago, sketch #25. It was the tent topper card but I did not make mine that way originally. This time I made it into a tent topper card.

I seen this ribbon wreath done in the last few years and I was always intimidated by making one thinking they would be hard! I was determined to finally make my own ribbon wreath and at first it was a little tricky but I did it!!! I thought about this sketch for a few days and knew that I wanted to make the ribbon wreath. I could picture it in the white with some gold beads & a gold bow. It was not hard at all and I love the outcome! I will be making more of these in the future! :)

Merry Monday Challenge (Week #25 Sketch):

Stamps: Petite Pairs (sentiment)
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: PTI White, Brushed Metallic Gold
Accessories: 1/4 White Grosgrain, Circle & Lacey Circle Nestibilties, Gold Bead, Gold Ribbon, Multi Mono Liquid Glue, Hot Glue Gun, Scor Tape

Well, that is all for me today!
Hope you can find some time to play along this week and let's get those Christmas cards made! It might be 100 degrees out now but Christmas will be here before you know it!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Just A Note

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!
Oh and Happy July 1st!!
Where has the time gone?!!?

Up and at'em too early today but needed to get Kelsey's laundry done so her work clothes are ready by noon then Shawn & I are off to the movies with my brother, sister in law, and Berto & Kirsten. We're going to see Ted. My sis in law has been wanting to see this since she seen the first previews of it back in April. It looks funny but time will tell. I'd also like to go see the new Tyler Perry movie as I just love Madea and her "Hellur"! LOL She cracks me up! So before my day gets out of control I wanted to share another Post It Note Holder that I made this past week. Love the colors in this but not sure on my Razzleberry bow. I was toren between this or a Daffodil Delight ribbon which is much thinner. Jury is still out on that one!

Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Neenah White, Floral District DSP
