Happy Easter

Hello & Happy Thursday, Everyone!

A quick post today as I want to try to finish up my card order that i've been working on!

I have another pack of Easter cards to share that I made for my card lady.
I used more of the Daffodil Delight DSP that was available during SaleABRation.

Card Details:

Stamps: Easter's Promise (retired)
Ink: Flirty Flamingo
Cardstock: Basic White, Pale Papaya, Daffodil Afternoon DSP (SAB 22)
Accessories: Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Daffodil Dies, White Glittered Ribbon, Iridescent Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My sentiment comes from an old set called Easter's Promise that was out a few years ago.
That adorable little butterfly is stamped on Pale Papaya cardstock with Pale Papaya ink. It comes from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set. It was diecut with the Daffodil Dies. This is a nice bundle and one that could be used for different occasions. I hope soon I get the chance to sit and play with the dies a bit more. It is a big die set that has different daffodils and stems. I noticed yesterday that my daffodils in the backyard are starting to pop up! A sure sign that spring is coming!

That is all I have for today! For now, it's back to my stamp table to create more cards!
My card lady called again yesterday and ordered more.
I just hope my hands are up for the challenge!

Easter's Promise

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!!

Hope your all having a nice weekend!
The sun was out in full force yesterday but it was cool outside.
Shawn & I painted Ryan's room which took us all day.
One more room knocked off my "To Do List".
I'm trying hard to get the entire house repainted before our weather starts getting warmer.

Today will most likely be a day of rest since we pushed it yesterday.
Shawn still has not passed his stone.
He goes back to the doctor first thing tomorrow morning so we will see what he has to say.
It is common for him to pass some quick and others can take while.
For now he's not having any discomfort.

I have a set of Easter cards to share that I whipped up on Friday.
I was determined to get them made before my customer calls.
I did pass on making any Easter treats this year.
Just too much on my "To Do List" to even think about that right now.

These were a bit of a challenge to photograph because they are a Z Fold style card.
They don't stand all the best because they kept wanting to open.
They measure 5 1/4 x 8 1/2  scored at 1 1/4 and again at 4 1/4.
I love this style!

Card Details:

Stamps: Easter's Promise
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends- Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green & Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Highland Heather, Whisper White, Highland Heather/ Gingham Gala DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

If i'm not mistaken these flowers are a Snow Crocus.
They come in purple, yellow, white and sometimes pink.
My other house use to have them but here I do not.
They are the earliest spring flower to bloom which sometimes can be while there is still snow on the ground. We've not had too much snow this winter season, just lots of rain!

That is all for now!

Tulips Side Step Card

Hello & Happy Thursday!

My hubby went back to work today even though he still has not passed that stone.
He's not had any pain the last 2 days and felt good enough to go back.
I honestly think he was getting bored being home!

It's to be a cloudy day with rain coming this evening.
Not sure what is on my agenda.
I may start painting my kitchen or I may go do some craft therapy which I am in major need of!
I stamped yesterday afternoon but it wasn't long enough! LOL

Today I have a pretty cool card to share.
This one is made using a bought package of cardstock that was already cut & scored.
All I had to do was decorate it.
These are called Side Step Cards.
Ever hear of them?

On the last picture you can see the steps which I covered with the SaleABration Coordinate paper called Pleased As Punch.
It is quite pretty in these spring colors that just make you smile!
I also used a new stamp set w coordinating punch called Timeless Tulips.
It makes the nicest tulips, ever!
I love tulips but daffodils are probably my favorite spring flower.

Card Details:

Stamps: Timeless Tulips, Easter's Promise
Ink: Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink, Highland Heather
Cardstock: Side Step Template Cardstock, Whisper White, Highland Heather, Pleased As Punch DSP (SAB Coordinates)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Tulip Builder Punch, Daffodil Delight Enamel Dot, Purple Gingham Ribbon, Glue Dot, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was very pleased with how this turned out!
Did I mention that this stamp set is a Distinktive set?!
I love those stamps!
