Merry Monday Challenge 177

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Can you believe that today is the last Monday of October?!! The time is flying by!

Today over at Merry Monday we have a new challenge for you to help get those Christmas cards made! The holidays are coming pretty quickly!

I am the hostess this week so let's get to the challenge!

I was so happy to have found this paper from Stampin Up called Season of Cheer that had Christmas Lights in it! I cut out 2 Mini Treat Bags and used them as a pocket card, I used Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen to add sparkle to the Night of Navy lightbulbs. It's hard to tell in the photo's but it's there. I stamped a sentiment on the pull out tag from the Reason for the Season stamp set. You could easily add a gift card, money or a small candy treat to this for a Christmas gift! I plan on using this type of cards this year!

Hope you will stop by the Merry Monday blog to see all the awesome Christmas Light cards that the ladies have created for inspiration! I love their idea's and know you will too!

Christmas is a little over 8 weeks away so I hope my challenge will inspire you to create a card for the upcoming holiday! It'll be here before you know it!

Merry Monday Challenge #177 Card:

Stamps: Good Greetings ( hostess retired), Reason for the Season sentiment

Ink: Night of Navy

Merry Monday Challenge #141

Hello & Happy Monday!

What a yukky morning it is here in south central PA. We are experiencing an ice storm which we hope will turn over to rain later today! For now it's causing some travel delays but I guess this is what we have to live with during the winter months. I will be so happy once spring arrives and the grass turns green and the flowers come up!

In the meantime, the girls over at Merry Monday have another wonderful challenge for us this week! This card challenge is to help us build our Christmas card stash all year long so once the holidays arrive we aren't under the stress of making cards, they are already made!

This week our hostess is Katie and she gave us a fantastic challenge! Hope you will stop by the blog to see the gang's cards for inspiration!

Here we go!

Who would have thought you would not have any critters in your stash! Well, that would be this girl!! This hedgehog is the only critter in my million & one stamps! Lots of penguins, bears and birds but no critters! I asked my hubby to define a critter for me!  LOL Then I looked thru some card idea's on my computer and realized I have this cute hedgehog in a Stampin Up Best of Snow set! I was so happy! Sometimes these challenges really do turn into CHALLENGES! LOL

I made my card into a Z Fold type of card and did it in monochromatic colors! I'm not too good with coloring critters! LOL That might be why I don't have any!

I hope you love my little hedgehog critter and will play along with us this week!

Christmas Card Challenge #141- Christmas Critters!

Stamps: Best of Snow, Good Greetings, Versatile Verses

Ink: Soft Suede

Cardstock: Soft Suede, Whisper White, Christmas Cocoa Specialty DSP

Accessories: Rectangle Stitched Dies from Lil Inker, MS Snowflake Punch, White Cotton Ribbon, Rhinestone, Glue Dot, 2 Sided Tape

Cute, adorable & very mail friendly! Let's keep this New Year's Resolution going!

Thanks for stopping by & have a marvelous Monday!
