Share A Milkshake Explosion Card

 Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday was a nice day until late afternoon when the clouds rolled in bringing rain, sleet and some snow. In the end the rain won out but right before we headed to bed it poured. This morning it is foggy and misty out. I hope by later today the sun comes out!

Today I have another fun explosion card to share with you. This is the original card that Marisa from Kitchen Table Stamper made on her Facebook Live 2 weeks ago. She shares the PDF on how to create it and since I had some time on my hands I had to try it! And that is how my Two Tone Flora card was made last Thursday. This card is the same as hers except I did change a few things up. I used the Share A Milkshake Bundle!

This is such a fun card to create and I am hoping to design one soon that the girls can make at Stamp Day!

Card Details:

Stamps: Share A Milkshake
Ink: Sweet Sorbet, Mint Macaron, Petal Pink, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, Basic White, Country Gingham DSP
Accessories: Share A Milkshake Dies, Seasonal Labels Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Meadow Dies, Gingham EF, Early Espresso Suede Ribbon, Linen Thread, Iridescent Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Not an easy card to photograph but it sure is fun!
It will surely bring a smile to the recipients face!

Well, today I have some house work to get finished up on so I better hop to it!
I'll be posting a bit late tomorrow as I have a dentist appointment 1st thing! Going to have a filling replaced and fitted for a new crown. I keep telling Shawn that I am going to have that million dollar smile before it's all said & done! LOL He walks away shaking his head...

Masculine HB

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a nice weekend!
It is my cleaning day so I am going to make this short.
This set of cards I am sharing today were for Audrey and again she asked for more birds!

Incase these look familiar to you, you'd be right!
I cased these off of myself when I created a card for Stamp Day w/ Friends last time.
I changed up the Circle to a Square and the embossing folder is the Timber 3D EF where I used the Tasteful Textile 3D EF on the other card.

Card Details:

Stamps: Art Gallery
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Rings of Love DSP (retired SAB 22)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Timber 3D EF, Rustic Metallic Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Audrey loved them!
It's not often she requests masculine cards and when she does she does not want any animals or anything related to hunting or fishing. That makes it difficult to find something that fits the bill. I was glad she asked for birds!

Showers of Happiness

 Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

I hope your having a nice weekend so far!
Today we are to get sunshine and mid 50's! I'll take it!
We had snow yesterday but nothing that stuck which I am not gonna complain about.
Shawn did some work in the garage and hung 2 cabinets above my washer & dryer to keep stuff stored in (yes, my washer & dryer is in the garage). While he was doing that I tore my fridge apart and cleaned it down to the bare bones. It wasn't too bad since I just did it last summer but recently I purchased some clear storage bins to keep things a bit more organized and washed them up and put in the fridge. Now I hope it can stay a bit more organized!!

Last week Audrey ordered a baby shower card and she sent me the original invitation in the mail to see if I could make it the same as the invite. It was Winnie the Pooh and I told her I have not one stamp with Winne the Pooh. She said no problem to make whatever and for a baby boy. I pulled out my Moon Baby stamp set because it is pretty much the only baby set I have. This is what I made her...

Everything is retired on this card but it was so fun to pull it out to give it another play!

Card Details:

Stamps: Moon Baby
Ink: Bashful Blue (retired), Memento Black, Stampin Blends-Ivory, Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Bashful Blue (retired), Certainly Celery (retired), So Saffron (retired), Basic White, Just Delightful DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Basket Weave EF (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Even though it wasn't Winnie the Pooh she was still pleased with it!
It is cute!

Black & White Buffalo Check

 Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

A cloudy morning here with some snow expected this afternoon.
Nothing that will make an impact but I am staying put at home after a quick trip to the Post Office to mail out a package. I've got a set of birthday cards to share today that I whipped up a few weeks ago just for fun that I wrapped up in a cello bag with envelopes and put on my card rack for sale. I may end up keeping these for myself as I love the colors on them!

Sadly, everything on these cards is retired but that doesn't matter to me!
I love that black & white buffalo check paper and those gorgeous Pierced Blooms Dies!
At one time I would have turned my nose up at the black & white buffalo check print and now I have so much of it in my house! Pillows, curtains, chair cushions, napkins, hand towels, table cloths, placemats....just to name a few! And now cards!

Card Details:

Stamps: In Bloom (retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Basic White, Patterned Party DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Pierced Blooms Dies (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love the pop of color on these cards against the black & white paper!
I don't have much of this particular print left so i'm sure i'll be hoarding it until something comes along to inspire me to use it. Isn't that how it goes when you find something you love?!

Rings of Love DSP

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!!!

Yesterday we did hit the mid 70's which I am still amazed at after having rain & snow the day before. It was a beautiful day! Lots of sun and I had my windows opened to let the fresh air in! Today we are only suppose to be around 40 degrees....back to winter!
Last evening I was able to deliver Audrey's card order. She loved everything! That was the first I have seen her since before Christmas and it was nice to sit and talk with her. She is doing well and looked really good, too! This pack of cards I am sharing today were made for her. She requested a pack with birds and no sayings...

I am not a bird person and don't have any stamp sets with birds so I went in search of some paper instead. Rings of Love DSP to the rescue!
This paper was out last Fall as part of the 2nd SaleABRation of 2022.
Beautiful prints that i'm slowly making my way thru and using up!

Card Details:

Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Rings of Love DSP (retired SAB 22)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Noble Peacock Rhinestones, Linen Thread, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This particular sheet worked perfectly and Audrey was very happy with them!
Sometimes she throws me curveballs when she orders something in particular and I always try my hardest to create what she wants.

Book Binding Explosion Card

 Hello & Happy Thursday, Friends!

Our weather people are saying we are in for temps today in the mid 70's but I am having a hard time imaging that! I mean, I would love warm weather but yesterday was upper 30's all day with rain & snow showers and it was windy so I have to see it to believe it!

Today I have a card to share that just blew my mind to create!
As you know I watch Kitchen Table Stamper almost every week. I am an avid follower of hers and love most everything that she shares. Last week on her Facebook Live she created this card called a Book Binding Explosion Card and yesterday I sat and tried it. So cool and so easy! I will share the link if your interested in making one at the bottom of my post.
I used a new set called Two Tone Flora and it's coordinating dies! Take a look...

Card Details:

Stamps: Two Tone Flora, Peaceful Moments
Ink: Orchid Oasis, Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron
Cardstock: Orchid Oasis, Basic White, Fancy Flora DSP, Orchid Oasis DSP

Anniversary Set

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I hope your week is going well!

I got Audrey's card order finished! YAY!
Yesterday, I did not do any stamping but rather straightened up my stamp area. I have a new tutorial laying out on my table right now that I would like to play with later today. Been trying to give my hands a break when I can since they have been bothering me.
The set of cards I have to share today are part of that card order I was working on. Audrey requested a set of masculine cards with birds on and no saying on. Well, I flubbed that up! LOL I am not perfect and had good intentions when I first started out with pulling out a pack of retired Bird Ballad DSP since this has lots of birds in. I am personally not much of a bird person so I usually pass on bird stamp sets. I had a whole sheet of this particular bird paper and started to build my card. Till it was said and done I used Petal Pink on it which was a no no. This pack is suppose to be masculine! So, in that moment I realized I messed up! I moved ahead with the last pack of cards which were for an Anniversary. I simply added my Happy Anniversary sentiment to this set of cards and called it done. Take a look...

Since each card is different because of where the birds are on the DSP I added my sentiment on each card at different places. I was still pleased with how they turned out but not sure why I added the Petal Pink to a masculine card. Oh well, it all turned out fine and tomorrow I will share the set of masculine bird cards!

Card Details:

Stamps: Love For You
Ink: Soft Suede
Cardstock: Pool Party, Petal Pink, Basic White, Bird Ballad DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Something Fancy Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Pool Party Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Strawberry Boxes

 Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Years ago before my back issues started we use to go to the strawberry fields and pick tons of berries to bring home for strawberry shortcake and homemade strawberry jelly. I always enjoyed the entire process especially that delicious homemade strawberry jelly on toast or an English muffin. It's been years now since I last made any jelly but thinking about it makes my mouth water! It was so good! Recently on a trip to the grocery store I found these Little Debbie Strawberry Jelly Rolls and grabbed a box. I knew exactly what I was going to do with them! In my notebook (which I have 4 now) that is filled with tutorials and cool projects I have a nice sized box that I thought my sweet delight would fit in. So, a few weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon I sat down and made 2 of those boxes which were the perfect size! I pulled out my retired Sweet Strawberry stamp set, Strawberry Builder Punch and some retired Berry Blessings DSP from SaleABRation a few years ago. Here is the finished product...

It's a good thing those strawberry jelly rolls are tied in those boxes because they are yummy!

Project Details:

Stamps: Sweet Strawberry (retired)
Ink: Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Basic White, Berry Blessings DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tailor Made Tags Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Strawberry Builder Punch (retired), Scalloped Tag Topper Punch (retired), Opal Rounds, Poppy Parade Ribbon (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These boxes would be so cool made up for Christmas and would definitely fit some yummy treats inside! I'm so glad I finally tried them!

Forever Flourishing Card Set

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you had a nice weekend!
I got to my stamp table most of the afternoon yesterday and started working on Audrey's card order. I am hoping to finish up soon and get it delivered to her later this week. In the meantime I will start sharing what I made for her.
She requested lots of birthday cards so here is one set that she requested that could be for a man or a woman.

Card Details:

Stamps: Waves of Inspiration
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Mossy Meadow, Soft Seafoam, Dainty Flowers DSP (SAB 23)
Accessories: Waves Dies, Forever Flourishing Dies, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love how this set turned out but most of all I love the color combo!
Audrey seems like like the cards that have some sort of greens on them so I will keep making them for her. It's a good thing I have lots of patterned paper with greens on!

Birthday Fun Fold Card

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Everyone!

I hope your enjoying your weekend!
It's a cold one here in south central Pennsylvania! We ran a few errands yesterday morning then back home and out of the cold. The sun was shining beautifully but the chill was definitely there!

Today I am sharing a card that I cased from another demonstrator.
This is a fun fold card but i'm not sure of the name. It was a bit tricky to make too so i'm not sure i'd make another one. I cased this card from Chris Slogar at Buckeye Inklings and only changed up the sentiments....everything else I give her full credit for.

The paper I used on this is a 2023 SaleABRAtion offering going on now thru the end of February called Dainty Flowers DSP. Every single sheet is beautiful!

Card Details:

Stamps: Peaceful Moments
Ink: Starry Sky
Cardstock: Starry Sky, Basic White, Dainty Flowers DSP (SAB 23)
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Iridescent Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Here is the link to Buckeye Inklings blog if your interested in making this card.
This card and instructions are at the bottom of her post.

Not sure what's going to be on the agenda today now that the Super Bowl is over and football season has ended. I have a small card order for Audrey to pick at the next few days and I am hoping to plan a get together with the girls soon, too!
On Friday I took down all the Valentine decorations and put out my St. Patrick's Day things. I hung my flags out on the front porch and noticed my daffodils are starting to pop thru the mulch. A sure sign that spring is coming and longer days of daylight, too! YAY!
