Sending Cheer

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

We still have 2 days left of Christmas in July so today's post is going to be all about Christmas! I pulled out a retired set from last year that I wanted to play more with so I made a set of cute cards with it. The bundle was called Sending Cheer and it has the cutest gingerbread man in it that I remember using quite a bit last year!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sending Cheer (retired)
Ink: Real Red, Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green
Cardstock: Real Red, Lemon Lime Twist, Basic White, Lemon Lime Twist DSP (retired)
Accessories: Sending Cheer Dies, Winter Snow EF (retired), Iridescent Adhesive Backed Discs, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal Adhesive

Stampin Up! demonstrators had the opportunity to view the new upcoming 2024 Holiday Mini Catalog last week. I could not wait to see what was going to be available this year because I love the holidays! There was no Halloween in the catalog this year and let me say that many were not happy about that! The Online Exclusives list has 2 Halloween sets available and that is it! I'm really upset about that because I do love making cards & treats for Halloween. I'm not quite sure what direction they are going in with this but I do NOT like it! The Christmas selection was great but not much for Thanksgiving either. I guess I will be using many of my retired stamps or other manufacturer's stamps for those holidays.

Merriest Trees Set

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Today I have a set of holiday cards to share with you made using the Merriest Trees Bundle. This bundle came out last year in the 2023 Holiday Mini Catalog and has carried over into the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog which I am happy about! I paired it up with some carried over Winter Meadow DSP from last year as well.

Card Details:

Stamps: Merriest Trees, More Wishes
Ink: Lost Lagoon, Versamark, Silver Embossing Powder
Cardstock: Lost Lagoon, Basic White, Silver Foil Paper, Winter Meadow DSP
Accessories: Merriest Trees Dies, Winter Snow EF (retired), Silver & White Sheer Ribbon, Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems, Stampin Seal

Since it is Christmas in July I am working ahead on making some holiday cards while I have the time. Plus it gives me a chance to use retired stuff before the rush of new holiday things come. I'm not sure how much I will get this year since I already love what I already have! Once we hit the Fall season I get overwhelmed with the 3 holidays right in a row and making some of these cards up ahead of time keeps me from getting too stressed out. I promise, all of July will not be holiday cards like I have done in previous years. Not sure my hands can handle that anymore!

Today Kelsey & Shady are coming over since tonight Red Lion puts on their fireworks display. We have a clear view from the front porch which is nice! I am making deviled eggs as per Ryan's request today! Yum!

North Pole Delivery

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I am off to a very late start on getting a post done.
I have been so busy the last week or so and I think exhaustion has set in. I did not get up until 9 this morning which is VERY unusual for me. I ache from head to feet and my hands are swelled. Not sure what's going on with that but i'm hoping it gets better as the day goes on. Audrey called me yesterday with her Christmas card order so I hope to get started on them this afternoon IF my hands want to cooperate.

It seems this year Rudolph wanted to make an appearance so the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set jumped on to my stamp table and we made a card with him! This was one of my favorite sets from a few years ago. It is loaded with the cutest stamps and sayings to go with them. The saying on this card came from the retired Perfectly Plaid set.

Everything on this card came from my stack of retired products which I think is always fun to pull out and breath new life into them again!

Card Details:

Stamps: Cookie Cutter Christmas (retired), Perfectly Plaid (retired)
Ink: Early Espresso, Real Red, Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Real Red, Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake, Basic White, Heartwarming Hugs DSP (retired)
Accessories: Cookie Cutter Builder Punch (retired), Winter Snow EF (retired), Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Pine Tree Punch (retired), Red Tinsel Ribbon (retired), Red Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Rudolph is such a cutie and definitely steals the show on this card!
I will have more retired Christmas cards to share in the next few weeks so stay tuned!

Beary Cute

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

A quick post today then I am headed to the kitchen to get my pumpkin pie made and work on a few other things ahead of time.
Today I have a cute card to share with you using the Beary Cute Bundle.
Yesterday was the 1st time I got to sit and use a few of my new stamp sets that I have had since August and it felt great to play with them! I pulled out the Beary Cute set which I did play with not too long ago. I have a Stamp A Stack to do using this bundle that I purchased from Kitchen Table Stamper. I hope to do those cards maybe in about 2 weeks! Anyways, here is the card I made yesterday...

Card Details:

Stamps: Beary Cute, Cookie Cutter Christmas (retired sentiment)
Ink: Balmy Blue, Real Red
Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Basic White, Old Olive, Beary Christmas DSP
Accessories: Beary Cute Punch, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Merriest Trees Dies, Winter Snow EF, Sheer White/Silver Ribbon, Adhesive Backed Glitter Sequins, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

That adorable bear was punched out of the Beary Christmas DSP which made it so much quicker! Always fun making a sweet Christmas card!

Happy Holidays!

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

Yesterday was Shawn & I's 32nd Wedding Anniversary.
He worked all day then we planned to grab some take out Thai food for supper.
It was very good and after a long, hot day...it was a nice way to end the day!

I've got yet another card to share for my Christmas in July series made using the Frosted Gingerbread stamp set! I'm getting my money's worth this year for sure!

It's nice seeing this set being used in different colors!

Card Details:

Stamps: Frosted Gingerbread (retired), Very Best Occasions
Ink: Balmy Blue, Night of Navy
Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Balmy Blue, Night of Navy
Accessories: Winter Snow EF (retired), Gingerbread Dies (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Waves Rhinestones (retired), White Glittered Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope these colors are helping to keep you cool?
It's so hot & humid all over the United States and they are saying that Sunday is to be the worst. I will be hibernating for sure!

The Hallmark Channel has been airing Christmas movies for Christmas in July.
I have been watching them everyday since July 1st!
I just love them!

Snowflake Wishes

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Today I have another card to share for my Christmas in July series using the Frosted Gingerbread bundle from last year. This is such a cute set that I wish had carried over but sadly did not. I have almost a full 6x6 package of the Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP left to use up. Surely it won't be this year but I will keep picking at it.

Card Details:

Stamps: Frosted Gingerbread 9retired), Wrapped in Christmas (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP (retired)
Accessories: Winter Snow EF, Circle Layering Framelits, Gingerbread Dies, Old Olive Ribbon (retired), Red Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Again that pretty snowflake on the front was diecut using the Gingerbread Dies from the Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP. It really makes creating quick & easy!

Update:
Miss Bailee will be going to the Vet this afternoon to get her itchies checked out!
The Benadryl is helping to take the edge off but not taking it away. I pray the Vet can help her so we can get back to sleeping all night. She is tired and I am drained...

Merry & Bright

 Hello & Happy Friday!

I hope your all well!
My husband took a few vacation days this past week which threw me off schedule.
I haven't been to my stamp table since last week.
My hope is to get down there and spend the day tomorrow to work on a few things.
I also had a big customer order placed this past week that I need to get a Thank You gift ready to send out. I'm so appreciative of my amazing customers!
And I hope to get some Halloween treats started as I have been seeing Halloween candy out in the stores! YAY!

Today I do have a set of holiday cards to share!
I love combining stamp sets whether they are current or retired.
If ya have them, why not use them!

This set uses a little bit old & a little bit new!

The new is the stamp set, Tidings & Trimmings and that is where the sentiment came from. The paper is from the Tidings of Christmas DSP that is current in the Stampin Up! Annual Catalog.

The Soft Succulent layer is also embossed with the retired Winter Snow EF from last year. One of my favorites! And the little Christmas trees on the sentiment panel that match the DSP are from a stamp set that is retired called Timeless Tidings that was out a few years ago as well.

Card Details:

Stamps: Tidings & Trimmings, Timeless Tidings (retired)
Ink: Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Basic White, Tidings of Christmas DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Winter Snow EF (retired), Evening Evergreen Ribbon, In Color Jewels, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love how these turned out!

Tidings of Christmas Notepad

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your all staying cool on this hot, muggy weekend!
Yesterday we took the bikes out around supper time for a quick ride.
It was cloudy and spritzing rain but thankfully no storms.
This morning we are going to head out before it gets too hot.
So far it's a nice cool morning but i'm sure that will change quickly once the sun starts to come up!

I have a cute little notepad to share this morning.
I found a bunch of these tall skinny notepads in a box that were leftover from when I did craft shows. They were all decorated with sports papers like soccer, baseball & football. I tore them apart and redid them with current papers.
This one uses the new Tidings of Christmas DSP from the Annual Stampin Up Catalog!

I also paired it up with the Perfectly Plaid stamp set and a sentiment from a soon to be retired Lots of Heart stamp set from the 2021 January- June Mini Catalog.
I just love the colors and prints in this new package of 6x6 Designer Series Paper!

Project Details:

Stamps: Perfectly Plaid, Lots of Heart
Ink: Evening Evergreen
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Cherry Cobbler, Basic White, Tidings of Christmas DSP
Accessories: Pine Tree Punch, Winter Snow EF (retired), Tasteful Labels Dies, Gold Enamel Stars (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made a shelf in my stamp room that I am going to display items on for sale.
These tall skinny notepads already made a spot there in a cute basket.
I will share the other notepads soon.

Each notepad comes with an RSVP pen that I placed a small piece of DSP in each barrel to match the notepad. Miss Emily tells me that these pens are her favorite!

Snowflake Wishes Thank You

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Today I am sharing some Thank You cards I made for customers earlier this month.
I always try to send a thank you note with their receipt included to let them know how much I appreciate their orders! I used products from the Snowflake Splendor Suite for them.

These were not the best pictures and I tried to doctor them up the best I could.
I love the texture that the embossing folder adds to this!
Isn't that DSP so pretty? And that ribbon is quite different!
It's a very stiff ribbon but oh so sparkly!

Card Details:

Stamps: Snowflake Wishes
Ink: Pool Party
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Pool Party, Whisper White, Snowflake Splendor DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Winter Snow EF, Snowflake Splendor Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm thrilled that the Snowflake Wishes stamp set & the So Many Snowflakes Dies are carrying over!
I have used it many times this season and loved having a nice Snowflake set again!

Toile Christmas

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas!
My Christmas was low keyed but it was by far one of the best I've ever had!
Shawn & the kids went above & beyond to make it wonderful and to top that off we had some snow to end the day! Snow is always the perfect touch for Christmas!

Today I am sharing a cool set of Christmas cards that was made with the Toile Christmas set.
I only just got that set & dies this season and loved making this set with them!

This was taken weeks ago with my phone so the picture is not the best and for some reason this is the only one I took.

Card Details:

Stamps: Toile Christmas
Ink: Memento Black, Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White, Mossy Meadow, Heartwarming Hugs DSP
Accessories: Christmas Cardinal Dies, Circle Layering Dies, Winter Snow EF, Red Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This set did not last long as my card lady swept them up faster than lightening!
She has a friend that loves cardinals!
I had hoped to use this set more this season but time got away from me.
There is always next year!

Random Cards

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I'm sure by now most of you are all caught up in the craziness of Christmas!
I have a free day today and thought i'd share a few cards I made for recent card orders.

You know I love mixing old things with new and these cards will show that.
I pulled out an old hostess set called Made from Scratch from 2005 and added it to some Plaid Tidings DSP! I have gone thru almost 3 packs of this paper! I love it so much!

I pulled the color of my leaves from the colors in the paper!
So pretty and my card lady just loved them!

Card Details:

Stamps: Made From Scratch (retired), Sentiment from a Paper Pumpkin Kit (retired)
Ink: Pretty Peacock, Cajun Craze, Bumble Bee
Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Whisper White, Cajun Craze, Bumble Bee, Plaid Tidings DSP
Accessories: Square Layering Framelits, Classic Label Punch, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Now on to Christmas...

This pack is pretty much the same as the Thanksgiving set except for the colors in the paper!

Card Details:

Stamps: Made From Scratch (retired), Itty Bitty Christmas
Ink: Melon Mambo, Seaside Spray, Misty Moonlight
Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Seaside Spray, Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Plaid Tidings DSP
Accessories: Winter Snow EF, Square Layering Framelits, Classic Label Punch, Rhinestones, Tombow Mulitpurpose Liquid Glue

The Plaid Tidings Paper was an absolute favorite of mine this holiday season!
I still have a few sheets left that I am anxious to use up in the coming months.
I hope you liked the sets of cards I shared today.
