Stamp Day w/ Friends Card # 2

 Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Sunday & Monday I took a break and relaxed but today I need to get some cleaning done. Yesterday I got all my Christmas cards addressed and ready to mail out today so that's a plus!
Today I have the 2nd card from Saturday's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. This card uses the Christmas Gleaming Bundle from a few years ago.

Card Details:

Stamps: Christmas Gleaming (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy, Pretty Peacock
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Pretty Peacock, Very Vanilla, Brightly Gleaming Specialty Paper (retired), Brightly Gleaming Foil Elements (retired)
Accessories: Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack (retired), Star Designer Elements (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have always loved this suite of products and have accumulated a good bit of the paper that I still continue to use. I'm drawn to the colors and the pop of Copper Foil in the papers.

Spruced Up Ornament Card

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Hope your weekend is off to a great start!
My hubby went early this morning for the MRI on his back. Won't get the results until the day after Christmas though so we have a few more weeks to wait. Miss Bailee goes to doggy day spa this morning and then Shawn & Ryan want haircuts. Looks like I am in for another busy day!
I have a single Christmas card to share with you today! This one is made with a retired set called Spruced Up. I played with it quite a bit this year and used it on some treat boxes which I will share soon!

Card Details:

Stamps: Horse & Sleigh (Online Exclusives), Spruced Up (retired), Christmas Gleaming (retired)
Ink: Shaded Spruce, Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper, Celebrate Everything DSP (retired)
Accessories: Spruced Up Outlines Dies (retired), Adhesive Backed Seasonal Sequins (retired), Gold Ribbon (from stash), Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

And the inside says...
And A Happy New Year!

Isn't that paper very colorful?
It's quite busy but I think it works well with the ornament on the front.

Christmas Gleaming

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Yesterday we had a fun Stamp Day w/ Friends get together and got the next one scheduled!
WooHoo! Always a great time seeing the girls!

Today we popped out early for some groceries then back home to hibernate the rest of the day!
It's been VERY hot & humid here!
I did stop by Kelsey's and grabbed my Copic Markers from her.
She borrowed them to color in her coloring books while she was off work.
She is back working at the restaurant but it's been a slow go.
She fears she will be off again with the virus still happening.

Last weekend I sat and created some Christmas Gift Cards.
I make alot of them every Christmas so I thought i'd start now!

I pulled out my Christmas Gleaming stamp set and got to work...

I was thrilled to see this stamp set, matching punches & the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Paper from last year all carried over into the new August - December Mini Catalog!
It's a great bundle of products that I have used many times over....last year & this year so far!

Card Details:

Stamps: Christmas Gleaming
Ink: Night of Navy, Pretty Peacock
Cardstock: Thick Very Vanilla, Night of Navy, Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack, Ribbon & Copper Cord (retired), Copper Stars, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This is the same style of gift that I usually make except this year I added a belly band around it.
I made about 10 so far that I will share soon!
They are very fun to make!
Have you made anything for Christmas in July?

Christmas Gleaming Wreath

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Hope your weekend is going well so far!
My girls are at doggy day this morning and I needed to get caught up on laundry.
While that is happening I ran to my stamp room to take some photo's of my Christmas wreath that I made for my Holiday Hoopla event. You may remember that I made one also for Halloween, too!

I started with a round styrofoam ring that I picked up at the Dollar Tree.
Other hobby stores carry them but they are anywhere from $5.99 up to $13.99.
Dollar Tree was $1.00! Can't beat that!
Then I followed a tutorial by Angie Juda ( Paper Wreath Tutorial ) that calls for 24 strips of DSP measuring 2 x 12.
She suggested 6 different designs and 4 pieces of each paper.
Once the DSP is wrapped around the foam ring I glued it tight with Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue and left it dry . Then punched the ends with the Triple Banner Punch.
I went completely around the ring covering with the paper until there was no more room. On the backside, I took my Pick A Tool and pierced a hole so I could hang it on a nail on the wall.
Then I finished it up with an ornament & the holly from the Christmas Gleaming set.
I added some copper embellishments and attached it with Dimensionals.
It hung on the wall super nice and the stamp girls were all admiring it!

Project Details:

Stamps: Christmas Gleaming
Ink: Pretty Peacock, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Very Vanilla, Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP
Accessories: Styrofoam Wreath, Circle Layering Framelits, Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack, Copper Cord (retired), Copper Star Designer Elements, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This certainly is a terrific way to show off this beautiful paper and also a great way to use it up!
Making this type of wreath is actually really quick and nothing too hard about it!
I may make one for Valentine's Day this year!

My thoughts today...

Thankfully, we have no snow here to make a snowman!
Our weather has been pretty nice with temps in the 50's and lots of sunshine!
Yesterday we popped out and took a walk! Haven't done that in ages!
Hope your enjoying the warm weather too!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Be Jolly Gift Card

Hello & Happy Black Friday!

If you are out & about today doing any shopping please be safe!
I have not been out on Black Friday to shop in years and don't plan too today either.
Yesterday before we had dinner I started to work on putting my forest of ceramic Christmas trees out.
Phew, that is a job!

I have one last Christmas gift card holder to share.
This one uses the Christmas Gleaming stamp set.

I love the Copper Foil in the DSP.
I tried to emboss my ornament with Copper embossing powder but it did not turn out right.
My embossing powder is really old and most likely will have to get a new container.

Card Details:

Stamps: Christmas Gleaming, Perfectly Plaid
Ink:  Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Very Vanilla. Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Ornament Punch, Brightly Gleaming Stars. Copper Cord (retired), Circle Punch, Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Making these gift cards was so much fun!
I will most likely have to make more.
I have an order for decorated Gift Bags so I will be moving on to those soon!

Wrapped in Plaid Gift Card

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Thanksgiving Eve has finally arrived!
Lots to do today here at the Aungst Pad!
I will definitely be making my Pumpkin Roll this morning then moving on to get the ingredients cut (celery & onions) and ready for the stuffing.
We usually make stuffing for the turkey and a few stuffing balls.
Shawn will take care of the turkey once he gets in from work later today.
By this time tomorrow my house will be smelling so good!
I am ready for the turkey with all the fixings!

Today I have another Gift Card Holder to share with you.
I was on a roll with making a handful of them on Monday and I will continue to share them.
This one uses the Wrapped in Plaid Specialty DSP and the Tree Punch...

I used a few things from my stash that are retired, the Gold Cord and the Gold Metallic Enamel Dots & Star. Those few embellishments are what make the Gold Foil Paper in the DSP pop!
I had some scraps of the DSP left after cutting what I needed for this Gift Card so I punched it with the Tree Punch from the Perfectly Plaid Bundle. I put all 3 on the Simply Score Board and scored them right down the middle. I gave them all a nice crease with the Bone Folder and glued them together and adhered it to my Stitched Circle.
This one just might be my favorite!

Card Details:

Stamps: Christmas Gleaming (front), Greatest Part of Christmas (inside)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Wrapped in Plaid Specialty DSP
Accessories: Tree Punch, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Circle Punch,  Gold Cord (retired), Gold Metallic Enamel Dots & Star (retired), Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

If you've not gotten any of the Wrapped in Plaid Speciatly DSP yet you seriously need too!
It's SO pretty and you can't go wrong with any plaid paper for Christmas!

Christmas Gleaming

Good Morning & Happy Friday!

The weekend is here, finally!
My girls go to Doggy Day Spa tomorrow morning then the car goes for inspection.
I will most likely try to get my Pumpkin Pie & Pumpkin Roll made while he is taking care of the car.
Busy, busy, busy!
Sometime I need to get out for groceries or we aren't having a turkey for Thanksgiving!
His work gave him a coupon for a free turkey! How bout that!?

I am still working on Christmas Treats but I am seeing light at the end of the tunnel!
Today I hope to finish up the last of it then get everything priced.

Today I have a Christmas Gift Card Holder to share.
This uses the Brightly Gleaming suite from the Stampin Up mini catalog!

At first this suite was not on my radar then I saw something that changed my mind.
It is a great set and comes with 2 coordinating ornament punches.
The Copper Foil star comes from the Brightly Gleaming Foil Elements and that pack is full of different diecut shapes! Worth every cent in my opinion!

Card Details:

Stamps: Christmas Gleaming
Ink: Pretty Peacock
Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Very Vanilla, Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Brightly Gleaming Foil Elements, Noble Peacock Rhinestones, 1" Circle Punch, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This was really easy to crank out so I will most likely use this style this year!
Decorating it was the hardest part! LOL

Christmas Gleaming

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your week is going well so far!
I feel SO much better today after a good night's sleep!

I have a quick card to share today made with the Christmas Gleaming stamp set.
It's quickly becoming a favorite!

I love the design of this!
I took a sheet of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of this DSP and covered my entire cardbase which is something I never do. My images were stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock that was cut out with the Stitched Rectangle Framelits then I colored with the Stampin Blends.
The sentiment was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink and diecut with the Circle Layering Framelits and I laid that onto a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock that was diecut with a Circle Layering scallop. I popped that up with Dimensionals right between the 2 holly leaves.
Lastly, I added 2 Pretty Peacock Rhinestones for some sparkle and called this one, done!

Card Details:

Stamps: Christmas Gleaming
Ink: Memento Black, Pretty Peacock, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Very Vanilla, Brightly Gleaming DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Pretty Peacock Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope you love this one as much as I do!
