Carved & Candlelit

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Hope your weekend is off to a good start!
We are headed out this morning to run some errands then I have laundry waiting on me. Going to hit the farm stand on the way home to grab some corn and some other goodies before the season ends.
Tomorrow is football and i'm so excited for the start of the regular season!

Today I am sharing yet another pack of Halloween cards that I made.
This set uses a long retired set from 2004 called Carved & Candlelit. It is actually one of my favorites and every so often I do reach for it to make some cards. I paired this set with some Creepy Crawly DSP from 2007.

Card Details:

Stamps: Carved & Candlelit (2004-retired), All Holidays (2007-retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Pumpkin Pie, Really Rust (retired)
Cardstock: Really Rust, Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Creepy Crawly DSP (retired-2007)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Scalloped Contour Dies, Holiday Rhinestones (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The little pumpkin was fussy cut which wasn't too bad. He is popped up with a Dimensional. Everything is glued flat.

Carved & Candlelit may be an old set but it has those smiling jack o'lanterns that just make the best Halloween cards!

Silent Night

Good Morning, Everyone!
Happy Saturday!

It's a dangerously hot day here!
Every air conditioner & fan in my house has been on for days.
The electric bill isn't gonna good!
I hope your staying cool anyway you can!

Today I am sharing another pack of cards for my Christmas in July special!
It's been a huge help in keeping me cool and using up old stuff.
I pulled out a retired set called Silent Night and I paired it with more of the Festive Finery DSP.
Both from the Stampin Up Holiday Mini Catalog in 2005.

I used my Heat Gun and some Gold Embossing Powder on my image.
I added Gold Foil Paper, Gold Metallic Ribbon & Gold Metallic Enamel Dots to make everything pop! I love sparkle at Christmastime!

Card Details:

Stamps: Silent Night (retired), All Holidays (retired, sentiment)
Ink: Always Artichoke (retired), Versamark
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Always Artichoke (retired), Whisper White, Gold Foil Paper, Festive Finery DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Heat Gun, Gold Embossing Powder, Gold Metallic Ribbon, Gold Metallic Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I only have scraps of this pretty ribbon left.
If I could have, I would have added a bow!
That's the name of the game....use it up!

Merry Monday Challenge #130

Hello & Happy Monday, Everyone!

Hope everyone had a nice relaxing weekend!

Today we have a new challenge from over at Merry Monday! LeAnne is our hostess and she is asking for Silent Night on our cards! Christmas is not too far off so we hope you will play along with us this week!

I pulled out the perfect set for this challenge called, Silent Night. I love the peace of the little church with snow on the ground. I stamped my church in Early Espresso on Very Vanilla cardstock and added glitter to the snow with a glue pen. My DSP is from a paper pad called Festival of Prints. I'm trying hard to use up alot of my papers. My sentiment is punched out with the Wide Oval Punch and popped up with a dimensional. Quick & easy! I love the glitter!

Merry Monday Challenge #130 Card:

Stamps: Silent Night
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Festive of Prints DSP
Accessories: Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle Mats, Wide Oval Punch, Glue Pen, Glitter, Dimensionals, Liquid Mono Adhesive

Hope you will stop by the Merry Monday blog to see what the other ladies have created this week! Many different idea's!

Well, that's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
