Christmas Scottie #3

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I hope that your week is off to a great start!
Yesterday I finally got my house all straightened up and cleaned so that means today I can get back to my craft table to get some card kits created for my next Stamp Day w/ Friends get together! I have so many idea's running thru my head.

Today I have the last Christmas Scottie card to share with you!
Thanks to Marisa at Kitchen Table Stamper for offering this online Stamp A Stack.
I made these cards for Kelsey to give her co workers and she just loves that little dog!

Card Details:

Stamps: Christmas Scottie
Ink: Memento Black, Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce, Mint Macaron
Cardstock: Mint Macaron, Basic White, Santa Express DSP
Accessories: Whimsical Woodland 3D EF, Celebration Tags Dies, Scottie Dog Punch, Evening Evergreen Ribbon, Linen Thread, Jingle Bell Trinket, Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Again on this card the dog, the presents and the ribbon images were all fussy cut and adhered with either Tombow or Dimensionals.

Christmas Scottie

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

I hope your having a nice relaxing Thanksgiving weekend!
Yesterday we got Kelsey's stuff all put out in her room and stuff packed in totes and packed into the storage room. We actually had a nice supper last night and relaxed watching the Haul Out The Holly movie on the Hallmark Channel. If you know me you know I watch that channel 24/7. It just makes me happy even if I have seen a movie a thousand times!
Today is football day and Kelsey goes back to work after 2 days off.
I am making a pot of chili on this rainy day then just chilling!

A few weeks ago I did a Stamp A Stack that Kitchen Table Stamper offered on her blog. It was a free class but you could also purchase the card packet to make them. I was going to purchase the card packet until I realized I had everything that she used in the pack. I sat and made my own so I could give to Kelsey to give her friends for Christmas. This is the 1st card in the Stamp A Stack....

Marisa comes up with some pretty cute things and this Stamp A Stack I loved just as much as the Sweet Gingerbread Stamp A Stack!

Card Details:

Stamps: Christmas Scottie
Ink: Memento Black, Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Poppy Parade, Basic White, Santa Express DSP
Accessories: Scottie Dog Punch, Circle Layering Framelits, Stylish Shapes Dies, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Stamparatus, Evening Evergreen Ribbon, White Twine, Jingle Bell Trinkets, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love the colors & prints in the DSP and that adorable dog!
I will be back tomorrow to share card #2.
It's so cute and this stamp set could be used for other occasions besides Christmas, too!
I love it!

Sweet Candy Canes

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

I hope your all doing well and survived the Thanksgiving Day & Black Friday shopping!
Thanksgiving was low keyed but the food was so good!
My pumpkin pie was the highlight! YUM!
We worked most of Thanksgiving to get decorations out.
The kitchen is done and only yesterday did I get my Christmas tree up.
Shawn spent all day with Kelsey moving her home. Her lease was up at the apartment and she said she did not want to renew it. Her & Corey have decided to go there separate ways. This did not come to any surprise to us as she has talked about it for several months now.
Yesterday she took over the extra bedroom once again which was once her room. Her dog, Shady is doing pretty good with the change but Bailee isn't too happy to have him living here which I am sure in time will get better. He's a very high strung Jack Russell and she is complete opposite of that. I think in time Kelsey will find another place to move to that is close to her work so for the time being we are all adjusting to the change.
Today Shawn has to go into work for a bit to look at a machine while nothing is running. I will be putting the last few ceramic Christmas trees out and calling it a day!
Yesterday our power was out for a good while. There was an accident close by that took out a electrical pole. So this girl is beyond tired and may need a nap by early afternoon!

So, enough on the chit chat....let's get to some cards!

For these cards I used the Sweet Candy Cane bundle which was a pleasant surprise!
It was the first thing I ordered back in July from the 2022 July-December Mini Catalog.

These cards are the same except the sentiment was stamped in a different color and the ribbon was different.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweet Candy Canes
Ink: Real Red, Garden Green
Cardstock: Real Red, Garden Green, Basic White, Sweetest Christmas DSP
Accessories: Candy Canes Dies, Whimsical Woodland 3D EF, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Real Red & Garden Green Linen Ribbon, Red Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The candy canes were diecut from the Sweetest Christmas DSP which is a pretty pack of paper this year! I have used lots of it on cards & treats!

That looked like me yesterday dragging my artificial tree up the basement steps! LOL
It was no easy feat!

Thankful For You

Hello & Happy Wednesday or Thanksgiving Eve!

Today's update will be quick as I am working on some card kits for my next Stamp Day w/ Friends. I started designing a card yesterday right before supper and need to get everything cut & ready!

I am sharing the last treat I made for Thanksgiving!
I have a few regulars that love having something to put at each person's table setting so I do try to make a few things. This one uses the Nuts About Squirrels stamp set and a sentiment from last year's Pretty Pumpkins set.

Project Details:

Stamps: Nuts About Squirrels, Pretty Pumpkins (retired)
Ink: Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Basic White, Celebrate Everything DSP (hostess)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Festive Pearls, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have these 4 left that I will use for our dinner on Thanksgiving.
Kelsey will get hers late but she said she is coming over after her shift at the restaurant for a late supper and help us decorate! That should be fun! Yay!

Peekaboo Treat Bags

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I'm happy to say that my Christmas treats are done!
Today I am thinking about making my pumpkin pie and then pulling my Christmas garlands out of the basement and get them ready to put on the front porch! I can't wait!

I have a cute treat to share with you today that I made for Audrey for her Thanksgiving dinner.
She always loves to have a treat of some kind to lay on each persons table setting.
I used the Peekaboo Treat Bags and Nuts About Squirrels stamp set for these...

I filled each bag with Trail Mix from Target and let me say....it is so good!
I will be buying more of this on my next trip there.
I made 13 bags for her and she just loved them!
I can't wait to hear from her as to how her family liked them.

Project Details:

Stamps: Nut About Squirrels
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Stampin Blends-Soft Suede & Crumb Cake
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie, Basic White
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Stylish Shapes Dies, Linen Thread, Rhinestones, Handheld Hole Punch, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The Peekaboo Treat Bags are in the 2022-2023 Stampin Up Annual Catalog.
They are made so nice and hold a good bit.
I have already gone thru 3 packs of them!

Hello Harvest Card Set

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a nice weekend!
They seem to go by so quickly, don't they?
It's the start to our Thanksgiving week and a very busy one!
Today I will hopefully finish up Christmas treats and move on to preparing for Thanksgiving Day! It's a short work week for Shawn and since Kelsey will not be here for Thanksgiving Day we kept our dinner on the low keyed side this year. I am still going to make a homemade Pumpkin Pie on Wednesday for our dessert. Yum!

Today I have one last set of Thanksgiving cards to share with you.
I made these up weeks ago and put them on my card rack for sale.
They use the Hello Harvest bundle which seemed to be my favorite this year!

There is just something about that pumpkin and spray of flowers that I just adore!

Card Details:

Stamps: Hello Harvest, Painted Pheasant (saying)
Ink: Memento Black, Soft Suede, Stampin Blends-Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Soft Suede

NEW! Framed Florets

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

We woke up today to some very windy, cold temps!
I think winter has come early this year!
We got all our chores done yesterday and I put a huge dent in my Christmas treats, too!
Today is football day for us! We haven't had a Sunday game in a few weeks so that in itself is a treat! I don't think I will be doing any crafting today.

Last week I sat one day and played with the New Framed Florets Suite that is an early release. It will also be in the new 2023 January-April Mini Catalog and is it ever pretty!
I wasn't really keen on another floral set but the sayings in the set sold me.
This card I made as a Thank You card for my customer that orders every month.

Card Details:

Stamps: Framed Florets
Ink: Evening Evergreen
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper, Ever Eden DSP (retired)
Accessories: Framed Florets Dies, Whimsical Woodland 3D EF, Gold Adhesive Backed Swirls, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Just a heads up that the paper I used on this is from last years Ever Eden DSP.
I have a whole pack of this paper and wanted to try and use it for some holiday cards this year. Stampin Up! always give us some beautiful prints on our paper packs, don't they?!

But let's talk about this new suite for a moment....

Stampin Up! has announced it will start naming the stamp set & coordinating dies the same name which is a blessing because it's always hard to remember the names of the dies that match a stamp set. I for one am happy about this change!

This suite also comes with a holiday stamp for a limited time. Framed & Festive is a winner in my book with wonderful sayings for Christmas projects & cards. It also has the same style of font as the Framed Florets stamp set.

In this suite is a pack of paper called Fitting Florets DSP but that is only available for a limited time as well. Not sure why Stampin Up! does not carry the DSP along with the stamp set but it will be going away when supplies are out.

Also in this suite is the Gold Adhesive Backed Swirls. These are so AMAZING! I used them on my card here today. They are flat and will not bulk up your cards. I just love them and they too are only available while supplies last.

The Framed Florets Bundle will be available thru the end of the upcoming mini catalog.
The Framed Florets Dies are AMAZING as well!
I think you will love it!
I certainly do!

Hello Harvest Thanksgiving Set

 Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

All I can say is "burrrr"!
Yesterday it was a sunny but cool day. The winds were whipping but around 3pm it clouded up and started to snow. We just popped out to drop some things off to Kelsey on her day off. It got so cold and snowed for a few hours but did not really lay on the ground. Two days this week we had snow now. I hope this isn't a sign of what we are in store for this winter!

This morning we are off to the landfill to get rid of a bunch of stuff from the storage room in the basement that we went thru and want to get rid of. After that we are gonna run a few errands and get back home to stay. Too cold to be out & about! I worked all day yesterday on Christmas treats. I started M&M Sticks last evening but could not hold my eyes open any longer so I will finish those up today. I hope to get all my treats done in the next couple of days.

So today I want to share a set of cards that I made and sold to Audrey.
She requested Thanksgiving cards and I showed this set to her and that was all she wrote! They ended up on her pile of cards last week.
They are also a favorite of mine as well! It uses the Hello Harvest bundle from the 2022 July-December Mini Catalog. It's such a pretty set!

That pumpkin with the floral bunch on the top just steals the show!
It's tough on my hands to color them but WOW, I do love it when they are done!
I also added a bit of Wink of Stella to the middle of my sunflowers to give it a pop of sparkle!

Card Details:

Stamps: Hello Harvest, PSX (sentiment)
Ink: Memento Black, Pumpkin Pie, Stampin Blends-Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, Old Olive, Cajun Craze
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Pear Pizzazz, Basic White, Rustic Harvest DSP
Accessories: Rustic Pumpkin Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Champagne Rhinestones, Wink of Stella, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

After she got this set of cards she requested a pack just like these with a Happy Birthday saying on and I was happy to make them for her!

Stamp Day Card #5

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!!

I'm glad the weekend has arrived!
Do you have any fun plans?
Well, our weather here is to get pretty cold with highs only in the low 30's so I am planning on getting some Christmas crafts done. With being sick in September & half of October that really set me back and I am trying to be good to my hands and go at an easy pace.

I have the 5th card to share today that we made last Saturday at my Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. This one went together pretty quick since I left the paper do all the work!

My paper is from the SaleABRation offering in August & September called, Rings Of Love DSP. This pack had different prints & patterns that could be used for different seasons and I especially loved the Fall print on this one. The colors were perfect!

Card Details:

Stamps: Painted Pheasant
Ink: Soft Suede
Cardstock: Soft Suede, So Saffron, Poppy Parade, Basic White, Rings Of Love DSP (SAB 22)
Accessories: Decorative Circle Punch, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Tree Rings Hybrid EF & Dies, Champagne Rhinestones, Linen Ribbon (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Super cute!
I hope you enjoyed seeing the cards my stamp girls made.
Now I need to get working on projects for Christmas!
