A Sweet Birthday Card

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Up bright & early again today because we have a contractor here putting soffit on the underside of the back porch roof that was built last August. 

This spring the birds have been trying to build nests up on the beams and we keep knocking them down and the bees have started, too! 

Today I have a sweet birthday card to share that the ladies made on Saturday.

Since we are in the midst of strawberry season here I thought this one would be perfect!

The strawberry paper is from the Fruit Stand DSP that was out a few years ago.

I loved this piece with the strawberries on!

Stamp Day Cards

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your all having a nice weekend!

I'm updating a bit late today! I had my friends over yesterday afternoon to have a Girls Day of making cards & chatting. It's always great spending time with them!

Today I am sharing a couple cards we made yesterday...

Altogether we made 7 cards which were simple cards even though they are experienced stampers. I will share the rest later this week. I had everything cut and prepared for them. All they had to do was stamp and adhere everything together. We will be getting together again in 2 weeks and i'm not sure about them but I had a great time!

My thoughts today....

Yesterday my hubby woke up to what he thinks is a diverticulitis flare up.

He's not running a fever or nauseated but he is having abdominal pain & tenderness. He quickly started taking in liquids and stopped food even though he says he's starving.

He put a note into his primary care doctor to see what he should do next. 

In the meantime he is resting & watching his Baltimore Ravens. Also yelling at the tv! LOL

I will keep you updated as we know more!

Sunday Stamps Challenge

Decided to use a mix of new & retired products for this.

I am fond of this layout as it reminds me to use those beloved Banner Framelits!!

Shamrock Happy Birthday

Hello & Happy Saturday!

 My girls are headed to get groomed this morning....the first in 12 weeks!

It was 6 weeks ago that Shawn had his drain surgery so I had to cancel their appointments. They are really shaggy and in desperate need of baths & haircuts! I know they are going to feel like a million bucks when they are done!

So before the day gets away from me I have a card to share with you.

My customer asked for a pack of birthday cards for the month of March that have shamrocks on them. I'm always happy to oblige!

I love that my customer suggests her birthday cards be made with seasonal papers!

Last month I used heart patterned paper and she was thrilled with them!

I wonder what she will ask for next month?!

February Happy Birthday

Hello & Happy Monday!

Did y'all stay up and watch the Super Bowl last night?

We did and I am paying for it today! LOL

I'm in lazy mode and can't seem to get my butt in gear even after 2 cups of coffee!

It's going to be one of those days!

I do have a card to share today. I had this paper for awhile now. Not sure where it came from but it was too pretty not to use.

The card base is Melon Mambo with a layer of Whisper White under the patterned paper. I love the different colors of pink in this! My sentiment is from Stampin Up called Stylized Birthday. I had this stamp from a while now and finally inked it up! I just love the font on it!

My thoughts today....

This was so Shawn & I last night watching the Super Bowl.

The 2 dogs insist on sitting on our laps then move to laying behind us on the back of the couch. It's funny how much they move from one spot to another!
