Festive Corners

Hello & Happy Friday!

Last day of July! Isn't the time flying by?!

Today I have a Halloween card to share with you using a new stamp set called Festive Corners.
Not one I would usually buy but I think it was interesting how these stamps clung around the corners.
Take a look...

I'm not sure why I was so fascinated by this set but it sure was fun to play & create with it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Festive Corners
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Basic Black, Plaid Tidings DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

ETA:
So I changed this card up alittle bit....take a look!

I've had the Cat Punch for a few years now and I don' think i've ever used it!
I think he dresses my Halloween card up nicely, don't you?

This set comes from the 2020 August - December Mini Catalog!
The catty has a few idea's in for this set and the one for Valentine's Day caught my eye!
I know, it's too soon to move on to Valentine's Day but I can see lots of Halloween & Christmas done with it!
Speaking of Halloween....3 months today will be Trick or Treat!
I wonder if we will even have Trick or Treat night this year?!
Sadly, everything so far this year has been canceled...

How many of you know what tv show this meme is from?
If you guessed The Partridge Family, you'd be correct!

A Halloween Hello!

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today is the last 90 degree day we are to have for the next 7 days!
It'd be nice if it was the last one of the season! LOL
Hopefully I can give my ac a bit of a break.

Today I have a cute Halloween card to share!
This is a sneak peek of a cute set from the August - December Mini Catalog called Everything Essential. Everything Essential is a bundle with a matching punch but here I did not use the punch.

I also paired it with a set that is a returning favorite in the Annual Catalog called Tags Tags Tags!
The fun design was created with the piece of Plaid Tidings DSP that was left over from another Halloween project I made.
The Pumpkin Pie panel was run thru the Big Shot with the Tasteful Textile EF.
I love this embossing folder and have used it so much!
The Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon is also carried over from last year.
I think it's perfect for any Halloween project!

Card Details:

Stamps: Everything Essential, Tags Tags Tags
Ink: Memento Black, Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Pie Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Whisper White, Plaid Tidings DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Square Layering Framelits, Trio of Tags Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The Everything Essential Bundle has Halloween, Christmas & Valentines Day covered!
It's worth every cent!

You'll Always Be My Forever

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

We made it to another "hump day"!
No rain yesterday and it looks like another day of 90's here.
I have plenty to do in my stamp room the next couple of days and the nice thing about that is it's in the basement so it stays cool down there!

Before I get busy stamping, I wanted to share a card I made last week for my dear sweet husband, Shawn.
Last week we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary!
Neither of us have ever been married before and when he proposed to me he said...
Let's give this marriage thing a try....if it doesn't work out we'll never do it again.
So, we did and here we are 30 years later and it's still working!
Over the years we have gotten to the point that we can finish each other's sentences!
Our first couple of years together were pretty iffy but we hung in there.
Anyways, this is the card I made him.

I tried to keep it masculine but I think I got a bit lost in the Misty Moonlight Ribbon! LOL
He loved it! It's not often I make him cards but i've been trying to get better about that!
The heart is from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits.
I added 3 rhinestones.....one for every 10 years of marriage.

Card Details:

Stamps: Embrace Each Moment
Ink: Misty Moonlight
Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Whisper White, In Good Taste DSP
Accessories: Be Mine Stitched Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Misty Moonlight Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Isn't that paper awesome?
The In Good Taste Designer Series Paper is an entire pack of masculine printed papers which I just love! Many different patterns like stone, tile, wood and one like I used here today.
It reminds me of spackling on a wall.
What great texture it will add to your project as well!

Snowflake Splendor

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your finding ways to stay cool!
Yesterday we hit 100 degrees and it was just horrible out.
Today it might be a tad cooler as they are calling for storms.
I know my yard & garden could use it!

Today I have a card to share using a new suite from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog.
I joined in on a Christmas in July Card Swap where we were given 1 person to send a card to.

This is the Snowflake Splendor Suite of products!
I think I used everything from it for this card.
I'm always a sucker for a snowflake set for some reason!
This one sang to me especially that paper!
The paper has a few different colors in that just make it stand out.
I love the sparkle of the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper and the Blue Gems!
And that ribbon is like nothing I have ever used before.
It's a stiff ribbon but loaded with so much shimmer!
The stamp set has many snowflakes in but also some cute sayings which is something I always like!
Lastly is the Winter Snow Embossing Folder.
Pretty embossed snowflakes that go well with this suite!

Card Details:

Stamps: Snowflake Wishes
Ink: Pacific Point
Cardstock: Pacific Point, Whisper White, Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper, Snowflake Splendor DSP
Accessories: So Many Snowflake Dies, Winter Snow EF, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Blue Gems, Snowflake Splendor Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm looking forward to creating more cards & projects with this suite!
I love snowflakes & lots of sparkle!

Peaceful Moments Sympathy

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

Another hot day is on tap here!
They said it could very well be another 100 degree day.
Hell on earth is what I keep telling Shawn.
This high heat & humidity is sending the ants inside looking for a cool off as the last several days we found them all over our kitchen sink & counter top. Last summer we had this problem when we had a hot spell. He found a recipe online for a homemade ant spray that took care of it.
This morning I found 2 ants on my coffee cup so time to start spraying again!
2020 is turning out to be quite the year, isn't it?!

Today is my cleaning day so before I head off to get that done I wanted to share a set of sympathy cards I made last week for my card lady. I had most of the supplies out on my stamp table from my Stamp Day w Friends get together so I just used that!

I used 2 different prints from the Flowers for Every Season DSP because that paper is so pretty and could work for almost any occasion.
My card lady loved these as she keep looking at them saying they were her favorites!
It was so good to see her and sit and talk with her.
She will be 90 in a few weeks and she is such a sweetheart!

Card Details:

Stamps: Peaceful Moments
Ink: Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Blushing Bride, Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Flowers for Every Season DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These were quick & easy to whip up!
I love that Stampin Up gives us these beautiful packs of paper so we can let the paper do all the work!
Certainly makes my job easier!

How many days until Fall?!

Today I have something new to share!
This is a bundle from the new August -December Mini Catalog which use to be the Holiday Mini Catalog.

Is it ever cute!

Last weekend I sat and played around with it!
I pulled out some new Plaid Tidings DSP and made 2 cards...

Another hot & muggy day is on tap.
I'm sure i'm sounding like a broken record anymore!
I'm still hoping for a cool down so my ac can get a break,

Today I have the gift bags to share that I made for the girls to take their cards home in.
I make them every month and I also use them to deliver card orders in.

This months bag I used the Flowers for Every Season DSP.
No surprise there as you know how much I love it!
I bought 2 packs of it when the catalog came out in June and have used almost an entire pack so far!

Stamps: Waterfront
Ink: Magenta Madness
Cardstock: Magneta Madness, Just Jade, Whisper White, Flowers for Every Season DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Doilies (retired), Bumble Bee Gingham Ribbon, Gilded Gold Gems, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Hard to believe it's been a week already since my Stamp Day w Friends!

Label Me Bold

Good Morning & Happy Friday!

We woke up to a cloudy, rainy morning with cooler temps!
It would be nice if it stayed raining all day!
This weekend will still be hot & humid as it's been so we will most likely just hibernate inside.

Today I have my 5th and last card from Saturday's Stamp Day w Friends get together.
Miss Emily and Deb both said that this one was their favorite!
I have to agree...

Isn't this a pretty card?

The stamp set is called Lovely Lilypad that came out this past January for SaleABration 2020.
It has coordinating Lilypad Dies and the Lily Impressions DSP which I used on this card.
This past winter with the bathroom renovation then the Covid thing, I never got to use this set as much as I wanted to.
Now that i've started my stamp get together's again I will be using this suite of products more since I know that girls love it!

My sentiment comes from a retired set called Label Me Bold.
This was a million dollar achiever stamp set that was created by Jasmin Schulze and for the life of me i'm not sure why it did not carry over into the new catalog because it is awesome!

Card Details:

Stamps: Lovely Lilypad (SAB 20), Label Me Bold (retired)
Ink: Petal Pink, Garden Green, Blackberry Bliss
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Garden Green, Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White, Lily Impressions DSP
Accessories: Lilypad Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Nature's Twine (retired), Rhinestones, Adhesive Sheets, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope you liked this card as much as my girls did!
Today I am headed to my stamp table to work on a pack of cards for a card order.
Then I hope to get it delivered soon!

Peaceful Moments Sympathy

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Hope your all staying cool!
We had rain here yesterday from early afternoon until we went to bed last night.
You could just seen the flowers & grass perking up!
I'm not sure how much longer this hot, humid weather is to last but I seen 90's straight thru to next week! Blah!!

Today I have card #4 from Saturday's Stamp Day w Friends.
This one was a quick & easy card made using the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

This card was perfect for a sympathy card with those soft, pretty flowers!
We embossed the Blushing Bride piece of cardstock with the Ornate Floral EF which adds some texture to it and just makes the flowers in the DSP stand out.
The girls loved this one!

Card Details:

Stamps: Peaceful Moments
Ink: Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Blushing Bride, Whisper White, Flowers for Every Season DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Ornate Floral EF, Rhinestone, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Hope you like this one, too!

Hippo Happiness

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Here in Pennsylvania we finally had some rain last evening!
We had just went to the restaurant to eat and it started raining. It lasted for a good 3 hours!
I'm sure my grass & gardens were loving it since we've not had any good rains in weeks!
Today they are calling for more storms and i'm fine with that as long as things do not get severe.

We went to the local restaurant where Kelsey works to have dinner last evening.
Kelsey came out to our table with flowers.
Then her co workers stopped by our table to wish us "Happy Anniversary"!
Most of the people she works with always talk to us when we go there.
It was kinda odd being that they can only seat you every other table.
The restaurant business has definitely taken a huge hit with the virus which is so sad.

So, today I have another adorable card to share!
We made this one Saturday at my Stamp Day w Friends get together.

This is a brand new set created by Robyn Cardon for her million dollars in sales!
Definitely a set that is created with kids in mind.
It comes with a unicorn, hippo & a lamb and all kinds of cutesy sentiments.
I love the bright, happy colors of this card!

Card Details:

Stamps: Hippo Happiness, Itty Bitty Birthday (inside sentiments)
Ink: Highland Heather, Magneta Madness, Basic Black Stampin Write Marker
Cardstock: Magenta Madness, Highland Heather, Whisper White, Magenta Madness DSP
Accessories: Hippo & Friends Dies, Classic Label Punch, Magenta Madness Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Such a fun set and the girls enjoyed making this one!

************************************************************
My thoughts today...

Yep another hot one!
I'm hoping soon we get a cool down.
My sinuses are not liking the ac running 24-7 and i'm sure the wallet is not going to like the electric bills!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Happy Anniversary

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I am sharing card #2 from my Stamp Day w Friends get together on Saturday.
We made a total of 5 cards which I left them decide what occasions they wanted ahead of time.
I just design them and prepare everything that we will need to make them.
This card was highly requested because we haven't made an anniversary card in months!

This is what I came up with...

I just adore this Flowers for Every Season DSP!
Such pretty colors & prints in it.
I decided to pull it out along with the Celebrating Sunflowers stamp set to create a simple anniversary card. I also used the sentiment from the Many Mates stamp set.

Card Details:

Stamps: Celebrating Sunflowers, Many Mates
Ink: Memento Black, Misty Moonlight, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Bumble Bee, Whisper White, Misty Moonlight, Flowers for Every Season DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Square Layering Framelits, Bumble Bee Gingham Ribbon, Rhinestones, Wink of Stella, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Miss Emily said this one was her favorite!
I have to agree!

My hubby is off today for us to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary!
I was thinking of a bike ride on the trail since we've not had the bikes out in almost a year but with it being so stinkin hot & humid....it'll wait until another much cooler day!
So now i'm not sure what the day will consist of....most likely just a nice dinner out this evening and i'm completely alright with that!

****************************************************************
My thoughts today...

Happy 30 years to my awesome hubby!
Here's to 30 more!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!
