Year In Review 2017

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Can't believe it is the last day of 2017!
How are you spending your last day of the year?
We are hanging out at home and will have a special meal as we usually do for New Year's Eve but we never stay up late anymore to watch the ball drop. We are lucky to stay awake until 10 pm most nights! LOL

So as I usually do for New Year's Eve....I do a "Year in Review" of some special cards or projects that I made this past year. Some months you will see more than one card! I had alot of favorites!

January 2017:

It was a rough month with Shawn being in the hospital most of the month.
My favorite card for this month was made for him.

Christmas Cards from Friends

Hello & Happy Saturday!

We woke up this morning to SNOW!
It's also VERY cold out...maybe teens.
Much tooo cold for my liking and sadly, this cold is to stay around for awhile.

As I said yesterday, I want to share the beautiful Christmas cards I received from friends this holiday season so let's get to it....

A calendar made by my friend, Carol Longacre.
She also sent a Christmas tag, too!
Loved the idea of giving a calendar for Christmas!

And look....she used a bike!

Card from my friend, Deb Kottmyer.
She used those awesome Silver Foil Snowflakes!!

A card from my friend, LeAnne Pugliese.
Look at the embossed side of the card. So cool!

A card from my friend, Cindy Linthicum.
She used my favorite little Gingerbread man!
He also has a spring under him to bounce around!

Card from my friend, Mary Anne Kelemen.
Great design on this and love that deer!

Card from my friend, Nan Herr.
Pretty papers and love that felt star!

And last....a card from my friend, Vicki Burdick.
This card is so pretty with all the gold!

Aren't they all amazing??!!!

Thank you to each & everyone of you for the wonderful holiday wishes this year!
I love all the cards!

Merry Cafe Christmas

Hello & Happy Friday!

The last Friday of 2017!

I was reminded as I looked at Facebook this morning that today is the day a year ago that Shawn ended up in the hospital for almost a month with his Diverticulitis Abscess. A day we knew was coming and kinda dreaded it. I pray that today is a better day for him than it was a year ago!

Yesterday I started taking down my Christmas decorations. I love how they dress up the house and just make everything so festive. I still have my Christmas Tree up which I might start taking down today but I did say that this year I was going to let it up until New Year's Day. Guess we will see.
Have you taken your holiday decorations down yet?

So, today I have one more Merry Cafe card to share with you.
This card was made at the same time as the one I shared yesterday and I forgot about this one, too!

Like I said yesterday, if your a coffee drinker...this set is for you!
This time I cut my coffee cup out with Cherry Cobbler cardstock and stamped snowflakes on it from the Merry Cafe stamp set. I absolutely love how the wrap on the cup is diecut and also embossed to look like an actual coffee cup wrap. I stamped my sentiment with Cherry Cobbler & Garden green SU Markers to get the 2 different colors for the sentiment. I love all the little extra's that are in this stamp set like the little holly & berries that I added.

Merry Christmas Coffee Card:

Stamps: Merry Cafe
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler & Garden Green SU Markers
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Whisper White, Be Merry DSP
Accessories: Coffee Cup Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Cherry Cobbler Stitched Ribbon, Glue Dots, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

A fun & festive card!
This is the last Christmas card of this year.
Tomorrow I am going to share all the handmade cards I received for Christmas this year!
I hope you will come back and check them out!

Christmas Cheer

Hello & Happy Thursday!

It is really cold out! Yesterday we did not get out of the 20's!
I think half the country is under this latest blast of cold air and it's to last a week or so!

Today I have another Christmas card to share.

I made this card way back in September and honestly I forgot about it.
It uses the Merry Cafe set from the Holiday Mini Catalog and I really wish it would be carried over but it's not.

Christmas Cheer Card:

Stamps: Merry Cafe
Ink: Early Espresso & Real Red SU Markers
Cardstock: Real Red, Early Espresso, Whisper White, Gold Foil, Candy Cane Lane DSP
Accessories: Coffee Cup Framelits, Seasonal Tags Framelits (snowflake), Circle Layering Framelits, Real Red 1/8 Ribbon, Gold Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This set will stay in my collection for a longtime!
I have made cards with it for Halloween, Fall, Christmas and I plan to do some for Valentine's Day!
If you love coffee...this set is for you!

Have a Joyful Christmas

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

The week is moving right along!
I haven't stamped in over a week and will probably lay low for awhile yet.
I have no orders right now and a break will do me some good.
I still have a couple of things to share in the next couple of days so stay tuned!

Today I have a card to show.
Its a quick & easy card that was made with retiring product.

I wanted these to stay flat so my customer did not have to pay for extra postage.
I added a few very small Cherry Cobbler Rhinestones for sparkle.

Joyful Christmas Card Set:

Stamps: Wonderful Year
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, This Christmas DSP
Accessories: Cherry Cobbler Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
